Clean, quiet, comfortable Water pressure is horrible and the water is barely like warm.

Location It took forever to get checked in. You can’t just walk in and get the same rate that you can get online, which is very inconvenient. I almost left to go to another hotel. The room door was very difficult to get open or shut. The bathtub was disgusting .. I didn’t feel like I could take a bath in there so I took a shower. There was no hot water the next morning. It was lukewarm. Not very satisfied. Will probably not stay there again

Well, when I checked, then I told him that water was coming up from the floor. They came and mopped it up but later on that day, they still water came from the floor again and it won’t no need for me to go say anything, but they told me they didn’t have no rooms available to move anything and I didn’t wanna wait 5 to 10 business days to get my money back but when I woke up that next morning, the whole floor was full of water

Well our first room the toilet was working and front desk put us in a better room . Breakfast doesn't last till 11:00 p.m. when checkout is!!! It's not like they're cooking three-course meal they're just providing a very few things..

Pictures of the rooms online are nothing like the actual rooms at this hotel locations. The actual rooms are smaller with older furniture with outdated bathroom and fixtures.

This facility is close to everything you need. Stores, gas stations, university, restaurants etc. The price is good. As soon as we parked to check in we were greeted by three women in the parking lot and a man. They were all in the woods. First we thought they were walking through but the police presence at this hotel every 4 hrs was crazy. So if you like living on the edge this is your place. Also the tv works 4 hrs out of 24. Staff is great including the manager. I thought about finding another place but it was late and we had a long drive. Interesting though when I booked it the pics of the hotel were better. So if you remove the suspicious activities the place is ok for the price.

While the hotel was clean and the staff were nice, it seemed to be a residence for some people almost shelter like. It was fine for me because I was in and out, and had family staying next door at the Hilton, so I spent most of my time over there. I probably would not stay there again.

Pleasant

We stayed there for $450 for 2 nights during UNC graduation. First, there was roaches in the bathroom. My family that stayed in the adjacent room had roaches too, so this clearly was not a one off. Secondly, when I ran the water for the bath it was brown for at least 30 seconds. Which probably explains why the tub was so dirty. Other annoyance was the floors were uneven. The laid cheap lament and did not think to level it before. This is definitely not a place I would ever stay again.

We had to wait at check-in for several minutes for the front staff to come back up to our room and let us in because our keys didn’t work. In the morning we couldn’t get into the fitness room till after the time that we needed to be leaving. The hours of the amenities was not clear on their advertisement.

Renovations were weird. New flooring was on old flooring so was uneven, doors didn't close with auto flow as designed.

I stayed for two nights but decided to leave before the third because I was uncomfortable with the atmosphere. I asked for a refund for the last night, but the front desk said they couldn’t process it since I booked through Expedia. They also refused to provide any checkout receipt or documentation. As I was leaving, another guest was complaining about fleas in her room. Overall, it was a pretty unpleasant experience.

The outside was scary. There was a person on drugs hanging off the side of the railing when we arrived at 1 am, another guest came in high in drigs with his music blasting and cuss words every other word. As a female I was a bit scared.

The rooms while listed as non-smoking, were not actually. There was a constant, headache-inducing smell of either nicotine or marijuana. I had to go to CVS and buy deodorizing spray and apply that multiple times. The continental breakfast was OK, but I did not feel secure inside my room. The only perk was being able to see my car where it was parked outside to make sure no suspicious characters got close. Our bathroom door was so damaged on the bottom that you could not close it. The shower constantly dripped, and it was stained from previous attempts at cleaning it, we opted not to take a shower over our two night stay. The toilet seat was so loose, it would shift when sitting on it. As two women, obviously we did not have the option not to sit, this was extremely upsetting.

Staff we encountered were considerate and professional. Breakfast was so-so but plentiful. There was waffle maker ( we don't eat them), but batter looked fresh. Sm yogurts ( I think Intivia), indiv-wrapped sm apples, sausage patties you heat in what seemed a Very good heat oven ( there were english muffins & thick white bread). 2% milk, but the OJ i think was something like Tang.

The pool was closed. The room was clean but the type of flooring in the room is some kind weird material and is in large squares, so in between the squares it's quite dirty. The shower water never got hot. I should have asked for a handicapped equip room because nothing was easily accessed. The "breakfast" was pitiful. Only a few things to choose from. Powdered coffee creamer. I would suggest calling it a limited continental breakfast. Very disappointing. But the room was cheap so I guess I got what I paid for.

At 8am there was no breakfast, found someone’s else’s private area hair in the bed, don’t over pay for this motel.

There were multiple fights that took place outside of my room, which made the whole place seem very unsafe. Homeless individuals camp out in the grass across from the hotel. The front desk staff did not communicate, I paid for a late checkout and was still disturbed multiple times the day of checkout to leave at the original time. The lady who worked the front desk was nice enough, but the man was rude and combative.

The SureStay Plus was a bit rough around the edges. Pulling in, you're greeted with what looks like homeless people that appear to be living in the ground floor rooms. Check in & front desk staff were fine. The room itself was basic, but functional. WiFi worked ok. Lots of noise at night (door slamming?) but a call to the front desk helped resolve it. Breakfast was lacking. They have a waffle maker, but no toppings besides syrup. No eggs. Small selection of tired-looking bulk cereal. Small, plastic-wrapped apples.

Upon arrival, it was 20deg outside. Inside the AC/Heater was turned on to 74, but it was on the A/C, not the Heater. Took some time to warm up the room. We were also there 2 nights and didn't want room entry for cleaning, so we put the Do Not Disturb on the door. We left a fair amount of personal items out as we expected this. But, the staff came in and cleaned the room. Nothing missing of course, but felt uncomfortable by this.

Good for the price, but obviously a hotel someone bought dropped a little money in to update furniture and paint. Paint includes painting the tub.

The hotel was horrible. We walked inside the bedroom as soon as we got into the bathroom there were roaches all over the floor, very nasty and dirty.

The shower tub combination needs to be resurfaced and new faucets. The paint is peeling in the tub and rusty at the faucet. The bathroom door sticks needs repair. Also the hot water runs out very fast. Also, I have killed a couple of roaches on the walls so bring bug spray. The area is well lit at night and somewhat quiet. It is a lot of night parking lot traffic that goes on. There is a soft spot on the floor that makes me nervous so I do not walk on that side of the bed. I think the overcharge for the hotel considering the look of it, but I know it's a business. It is not the best and some of the people that is here seems odd, but at least you are not out in the streets. They do serve breakfast, I hadn't been but it is advertised. I think the prices could be lowered a little bit more for what you get or offer discounts to people that stay a few more nights.

This is an older facility and shows it, but it's clean and well run. I thought it was a bargain.

Very misleading. The place looks nothing like the pictures online. The place smelled like marijuana.There was no water pressure. The breakfast was pathetic. The toaster didn't work, and the only cereal was Cinnamon Toast Crunch-yuck! The orange juice was terrible -tasted like Hi-Cooler. The staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable. Thank God we only needed a 2-night stay.

Room has a light outside in the hall, which makes it bright at night. Curtains don't cover the window enough.

Actual guest room was ok. However, Very thin walls. People screaming and cursing in parking lot at 2am. I could easily hear roller wheels and conversations in hall outside room door T 4;30am. Don’t get much sleep.

We enjoyed the continental breakfast this morning and then left for lunch. We returned back and enjoyed several hours of television and movies before taking a comfortable nap in the king size bed, before having to go to work at noon for my husband and 4pm for myself. It was a quiet, peaceful day. Thank you!!

The evening desk attendant tried to leave us outside in the cold and help check in another guest instead of taking us to another (and the last) available room because the one we were in had bugs, living and dead. This new room was only better bc it didn’t have AS MANY bugs. Wouldn’t even consider trying breakfast. Finally, the room we were moved to was at the far end of the hall, one elevator on property, and the outside door was accessible WITHOUT using your keycard.

The breakfast was limited really no real options but it didnt taste bad checkin was swift and easy but my room is a different story this hotel is in dire need to be remodeled

The rooms didn’t look like ones on website . Floors hadn’t been swept or mopped . Sticky stuff on floors on side of bed . Hairs on toilet seat . Bathtub had rust rings in it unable to wash my toddler due to the rust . The bathroom had a sewage/sulfar smell when you flush the toilet. Ants were on top of ac unit on inside ! Highly dissatisfied!

The conditions of the room are absolutely terrible. I literally found a roach in my bed as soon as I walked in on the first night there were three roaches on the second night. There was roaches in my bathroom. I complained to the staff and I feel bad for the tenant because I know it’s not on him, but the room is disgusting. It is horrible to think that because you are trying to financially be savvy you have to pay with dirty and disgusting conditions. I am beyond disappointed and I will never stay there ever again no matter how decent the prices.

The hotel is an older hotel. The room was clean and met what I needed for a single night stay. Fitness center, seasonal pool and breakfast were extra perks of the stay.

Room never got dark at night! Glaring, very bright light outside window. And a smoke alarm in hall started chirping in tge early hours!

I had got very bad services the room i was in had a roach infestation bad to where it was in the bed they didn’t want to give me half of my refund back or anything the man had said they will refund for a night a new man came in and said they wouldn’t do it it’s took the man at least 20 mins to move me to a different room , the man at the front desk was so unprofessional and just seemed likes they wanted the money they don’t try to satisfy customers or do good communication, it took the man for me to go back to my room to call me back downstairs to only give me $20 yeah that’s better then nothing but thas not what i was told and it took for me to have a whole reasoning and for me to say it’s okay to call me back to the lobby for it for when i was told i will be refunded one night it was unprofessional

The bed was flipped over because the mattress cover and mattress was filthy. Jackie the receptionist gave me fresh linens to accommodate me. She always go above and beyond. Shes bout the only good thing about this hotel

The property is definitely not as good as the photos show, though it carries the "Best Western" brand. Surroundings of the property are not representing good neighborhood. Overall, stay is minimally ok, so is the "full breakfast". Asked frontdesk for lotion, no.

Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff. First room was good until it started raining, then the ceiling leaked on us. Second room smelled terrible. Third room was being repaired. Fourth room had roaches, gave up and killed them myself. Breakfast was very limited and not good. No working ice machines on site. People smoked in the internal hallways, including pot.

People jumping off railing. Pic is nothing like the photo. Stinks like pee. Pool broke. Drug deals in the back of hotel.

It was ok. I just needed somewhere to rest my eyes over night.

There was only one ice machine located on the first floor next to the washer and dryer, and the floor in that area was constantly wet and dirty because the machine randomly dropped ice. I was staying on the third floor, so this was inconvenient. The hotel clearly had water damage, which was obvious from the condition of the floors and a strong musty smell. Breakfast ended early at 9:30 a.m., and the pool was closed the entire time—even though temperatures were around 96°F all week. One night, the police were even called to the hotel, which was unsettling. The Hilton just across the parking lot looked like a much better option and felt safer overall. Staff at this hotel were unfriendly and often didn’t answer the phone. The beds were unusually high; my elderly grandmother had a very hard time getting in and out of bed. While it was okay for a single night in a pinch, I would not recommend staying here and definitely won’t be coming back.

I had trouble understanding the gentleman who checked me in. He didn’t explain anything about the free breakfast or anything extra. There wasn’t the ability to take a bath, only a shower and the water was barely warm. Rather disappointing. Plus there was standing water in the tub when I checked in.

I had turned my towels into housekeeping during housekeeping hours but they failed to bring me any clean ones back. So that following evening I called down to the front desk and asked if I could please get some towels and I was told that it was marked on his paperwork that we had already received towels for that day and we were not eligible to get any clean towels. I had to go down the street and purchase some towels to take my shower that evening. I also needed quarters to complete my laundry cycle. I had enough quarters to start the wash but did not have enough for the dryer and I was told that he could not give me the quarters that he had in the register because he needed them for other customers. That I would have to walk to a store or figure something else out to complete my laundry. The first morning I had spilled just a little bit of coffee on the floor next to my bed, so I used one of the towels that I have bought the night before to clean up my mess and when I looked at the towel after I was done it was near black! Absolutely disgustingly dirty. There's no way that these floors were cleaned before I entered this room.

The property was nice and had been renovated. Didn’t understand why the fan in the bathroom ran 24-7. More renovations and landscaping is needed for better appeal.

Pretty much a dissatisfying place. On the positive the staff was nice, location convenient and that’s about it. Would not stay here again.

This place was a dump. The bathtub needed to be replaced 20 years ago. We actually left and didn't sleep there is was so disgusting. I wouldn't stay in one of these rooms if they paid me to.

Hotel is run down. Needs much physical improvement. Sketchy area. Police were there checking on something that happened on second floor. I thought being near Medical Center, this would be a decent place to stay. I do not recommend.

We stayed on the third floor and I'm not sure if it was because it was enclosed but the actual smell of the hall way was just disgusting, wet moldy smell. The bathtub was disgusting. Just overall for the price, you get what you get. Definitely won't stay again and will pay more next time. Lesson learned.

Front desk clerk was very polite at check in. The room was not very clean. The floor looked like it had never met a mop. The bathtub was gross. We were too tired to do anything else so we sprayed the bed down with alcohol and didn’t use the covers.

Nothing likable

I also asked for a do not disturb sign yesterday and the front desk said, "they don't do that here, they do things differently" and they assured me no one would be in my room. The room next to me had a sign, however. I came back to my room Saturday and someone had been in it (I specifically requested that no one come while I'm there) The 3rd floor has smelled like marijuana since Friday. The elevator stopped working last night. I asked for assistance getting my luggage down the stairs when checking out since the elevator didn’t work and I was on the 3rd floor but the front desk apologized and said they couldn’t help.

I stayed for two nights from out of state. I got to my room and it immediately smelled like someone just smoked a cigarette/green in the room. The gentlemen that worked that night/morning was soooo great. He went above and beyond. The second night i get back and the elevator was out but that was here nor there. I get up to my room on the 3rd floor and again the extreme smell of smoke. The next morning I pack up my stuff, head to the door of my room, and there was a roach alive on the floor. Then had to drag all my luggage down three flights of stairs. The stairs were unfortunately located in the back of the building and my vehicle in the front. The lady at the front informed me I could NOT go through the lobby to my vehicle that I had to walk around the entire building. It was an extreme inconvenience and a bit of a struggle to have to drag three large bags around 75-100yds. I could go in the lobby to get breakfast the second morning but so I guess it is a security thing. I don’t know.

PRICE GOES UP DAILY. SAM IS RUDE. YELLS OVERTALKS AND ROLLS HIS EYES AT THE GUEST. HE TOLD A GUEST TO JUST SHUT UP OR GET OUT. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NOONE. THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO GET INVOLVED. ROACH AND SPIDER INFESTED.

Beds are nice , 4 great pillows on a bed. Not sure about neighborhood but Entrances to floors require room key. Inside feels safe.

It is supposed to be a no smoking facility yet everywhere there were cigarette butts on ledges, a dirty rolled up rag was left outside of our door for 2 days and there was something hanging off the wall in our room.

It is old and creaky. The floors are suspect, the fridge doesnt work whatsoever, the television only gets two local channels and a few lower tier cable channels, completely uninteresting and non-entertaining.

The property was fine, I got to the hotel arter 4 hours driving after the las stop at around 10:55 pm, pass my id and card to make the check in and asked the hotel staff if I could use theirs restroom and he said that the lobby was already closed, I was walking from side to side while waiting for him, I asked him for a 1st floor and he assigned me a third floor room because he didn’t have any available, and I rushed to the elevator and third floor after entering the alley of rooms I discovered that he assigned me the fartest room in the floor, I am pretty sure there were several empty closer to the door, I had to run with my luggage and open the door and find out in the dark where the reatroom was and after that where the toilet was and when taking my cellphone to illuminate I started to pee on my self, I finished on the toilet but it could have been prevented if the guy wouldn’t have been so rigid about the close lobby, having in his hands my id and card what can I do to him

I really liked this place for the designated smoking areas outside. I have been 3 times now with my family for hospital visits. It does seem like families with little kids stay here for weeks at a time.

I was charged extra fee for early check-in and I was already in the room from Friday/Saturday so I decided to stay over into Sunday.

Service was great. Slept very well nice and comfortable. Love the big TV. Need more work on bath tub (cleaning or replace). Location is five minutes from my final destination. Great location.

This property was dirty, smelled strongly of cigarettes and marijuana. The rooms were in need of repairs including paint chipping off the bath tub and black mold. Our window shades did not open. We moved to another hotel after finding 2 cockroaches in our room.

The staff there is very kind and patient with me. I am disabled yet, the still have first floor rooms and elevators. They also offer a hot breakfast as well.

There was only a blind at the window and no net curtain for privacy The hotel is very grey, which we know is fashionable at the moment but it needs some bright colour as well. Tap in bathroom was very temperamental sometimes giving hot water sometimes cold. There was no plug. for the sink.

The hotel looked nothing like the picture when I first arrived I was scared to enter better it looked unsafe and it seem as if there was illegal activities going on around the hotel, when I enter the staff was wonderful so I decided to try it, my toilet seat was broken, the hotel smells very old my allergic acted up the whole time because of the smells, it was very noisey, and people was always in the hall ways smoking. I would never go back again, the towels had hair in them , I did not use them and I used barriers to use the toilet because it just look so unsanitary.

The ad stated that there was 'cable tv' however there was only SIX channels. A very limited choice, no news feeds, and the only known channel was Hallmark. Also the hallway floors were difficult to walk on because the flooring had large bubbles underneath. Probably will not be back.

Dirty, toilet won’t flush properly, dirt ring and hair in/on toilet. Heater coming off wall and very loud, dirty window, white crud on dresser, table, door handle. No light on switch by door. No comfortable chair or drapery as shown. No channel guide for TV. Unresponsive staff. Morning person was friendlier. Bed liner coming off. Outside looked like a war zone, very scary but I arrived too late to change hotels.

The manager was really nice and the bed was super comfy. I was there for 2 weeks and housekeeping only came 3 times.

I wasn't able to take a bath. The bed was uncomfortable and to high. Other than that it was great.

I got texts from the hotel saying to text if anything was needed, but no one ever returned my texts, nor did they ever answer the phone. I prepaid through hotels.com, and usually do not have to wait for a room more than 5 minutes. For whatever reason, the night clerk had problems with the computer, and I had to wait in a freezing hallway for 20 minutes. I had a wheelchair user with me, and the only way I could get onto our floor was by opening a heavy door that had no handicap switch, and no way to hold it open. I struggled greatly to get him inside, and there was no way a person alone in a chair could have handled it.

Leaking shower ( all over gloor & toilet) broken sink no cold water from sink.... room smelled and the smell of Marijuana all over property ....ppl yelling at all hours of the night no wifi Available as listed remote had large burn hole difficult to turn off and on tub was dirty toilet was working but not without moving handle.... Could be a nice hotel with upgrades and cutting out all the party people that stay on weekends.

The bed is great, but when it comes to cleaning not geat at all. The room was covered with dust and the tub was dirty. The staff was very rude! Extremely unprofessional, and very disrespectful to other guests as well. Only the front desk staff and managers were rude. Cleaning staff and cooks were very friendly. Would've given 3 stars if staff was nicer.

The parking lot was full of people hanging out with loud music when we arrived after 9 PM. The person at the front desk barely spoke to us- at one point wasn’t even sure if they had my reservation. When we were directed to our room the floor didn’t feel solid in the hallway, it was lumpy and coming up. The room smelled bad, you could hear and smell everything from outside, ther doors into the building were all propped open and none of them actually locked. Then I’m the room the shade didn’t close all the way so the parking lot lights glared in the entire night and there was a huge gap Under the door so we heard everything in the hallway all night. People were in and out all hood of the night.

The staff was friendly enough. But this is a very poorly kept property. The room was rough. The flooring is buckled and flimsy. There was actually a whole in the floor in the first room we were given. The manager quickly changed us to another room. But the overall cleanliness is lacking. I would not recommend this hotel unless you really need to save a few dollars. The breakfast was very limited and not that great tasting either.

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great location very quiet neighborhood. Sam made sure that I was pleased with my stay, and he was excellent during my checkout

The price was right. Plumbing was terrible. Tub knob didn't work right, most of the shower water went straight town into the drain that drained too slow and had standing water around my feet. Yuck. Bathroom sink drained even slower. Double yuck. Lots of less than friendly long-term housing. Breakfast was top notch. While the room wasn't in the best shape, it was clean and staff was friendly. Reason for choosing this hotel was that they are pet friendly.

Do not stay here unless it is your last option and you have to sleep in your car. I am glad my car was still there in the morning, I had my doubts.

It was superbly lit in and around the parking lot and building. However, the sheets had stains, the floor on the third floor was wavy like a roller coaster.

Pulled in the parking lot and drove off to find another hotel. I think the picture was deceiving. We had booked earlier that day so lost our full payment.

It was a good experience. A little worn property but room was clean and property was neat. It felt like a safe location. The free breakfast is always a nice addition, it was adequate.

Clean and no bad smells. Not bad but could be more comfortable. Beds are hard. Would be nice if there was Queen beds instead of doubles.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of dining options close by and it is very convenient for my medical needs.

Do not stay here, this place is disgusting. Mouse feces on the bed, spider webs in the bathrooms, cockroaches everywhere. I brought in 6 friends for a 2 night stay (3 double rooms). One ended up sleeping in his car because he didn't feel it was safe, two others ended up leaving after the 1st night and got another hotel room elsewhere. So disappointed in this place. what an embarrassment to my guests, I booked the place sight unseen on hotels.com. Pictures and price looked good, but it sure didn't look like the pictures. Hotels.com, you need to drop this one.

This place is a dive...do not let the pictures on the website fool you. It is old, dilapidated, and smells of mildew..

Room floor was not clean upon arrival. Hall floor was buckled and uneven. Request for extra pillow was never provided. Not the expected quality of a Best Western for $145.00 nightly.

Our room didn’t have an extra blanket, nor even a smoke detector. It did have what appeared to be a hole patch job, a q-tip on the floor (gross), and a scungy bathroom. Online pictures are completely out of date. If you just need a place to rest, for the night, then it’s safe & (barely)clean enough. The young man, who checked us in, was pleasant enough- although I wouldn’t say bubbling in personality. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it.

No comforter/bedspread/blanket on bed, just sheets. Chair was office type with rollers and left arm was broken, chair would not adjust only in low position which was very uncomfortable. Full breakfast listed but when i went down at 6:35am door was locked to area and no person around. Window in room locked but did not close completely allowing outside noise and weather in. Might be worth $20 but not what i paid.

The room was in very poor condition. There was no functioning light in the bathroom, no cover on either light fixture in the bathroom and no light bulb in the fixture at the sink. There was no comforter on the bed, no cups at the cheap coffee pot, and the entire property was run down. My hotel key card did not allow access to the lobby in the early morning and the don’t open the lobby until 7:30 am.

The staff who checked us in was nice. The room and overall hotel is rundown. Paint splattered on the floors. Broken chair in room. Leaky windows lots of road noise. Very poorly maintained.

The stay was horrible. The room is very dirty and filthy. There was no comforter on the beds. It was just a very thin blanket. The room smelled like weed smoked even though we booked non-smoking. The ac/heater made so much scary noise that kids were getting scared in sleep. Felt like somebody was walking near the head as the walls were so not sound proof that they walked on the middle of the night and we were able to hear every bit if it. Upon complaint I was told to vacate the room at 3:00 am midnight with 2 kids for a refund. No customer service at all. Pathetic hotel. Not sure how it under Best Western banner with zero standards. Would never recommend or come back again.

Was good except couldnt get hospital rates. They always give us hospital rates because we go to Duke Med for treatment.
