Hilton Garden was in the perfect location, the food was great and the staff was coutious. I would stay there again if the need arises. We were there for a hospital stay. The shuttle with Mr. Darrel was great, he was very courteous and got me where I needed to be. I had no complaints regarding the hotel, the staff or the service. Everything was very well organized and everyone was very helpful, I would stay there again if the need arises.

My hotel room was always clean and immaculate. The breakfasts were scrumptious.

We had a short but pleasant visit at this hotel. The premises outside and inside were well maintained. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff members were helpful and accommodating. The young African American server in the dining room at breakfast was a jewel. With his caring manner, his warmth, his excellent communication skills, and his efficiency, he made each guest feel wecome and special.

Not have French fries for oiur fish and chip dinner—waitress knew this as we ordered and came back to table what else are willing to have with this—over priced and waitress stated “ they always run out of food

Clean and modern throughout. Staff was always available, helpful and friendly. The only real issue, but a significant one, is that it’s adjacent to an active railroad. Multiple freight trains starting in the early morning significantly cut into sleep quality.

What a hassle it was for us to generate a FedEX label to send to the hotel and retrieve our phone. I don’t know who was more incompetent: the Hilton Garden Inn AI and staff OR the FedEX experience. I would like the four hours it took to generate the label back.

I really like this hotel in Durham. It’s so quiet, clean, comfortable and with friendly staff.

Check-in was easy and quick. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Shuttle service to the university was very convenient.

This place is very convenient and welcoming. The easy in and out of the parking situation and the helpfulness of the staff are real positives.

The staff was very nice and accommodating; all pleasure! Made our stay enjoyable. The shower was old and bathroom could have been a little cleaner. One of the beds squeaked anytime you moved so at night when it was really quiet it was really annoying and uncomfortable bc felt like couldn’t move . The food was really good for breakfast and dinner. We’d stay again bc overall hotel was nice and the staff was great.

Walking distance from at least one good restaurant. Quiet area, easy parking, restaurant in the lobby which is so convenient and the food is so good. Bed is comfortable but they didn't provide a floor bath mat and the iron board cover was just fabric with absolutely no foam or cushion. smh

We stayed at the property for 3 nights while moving our son into an apartment before he started grad school. The location was perfect for us right near his apartment. The staff were friendly and competent. The room was clean, well appointed, and the beds were comfortable. Great shopping/restaurants all in walking distance.

Physically, the place is dated and needs an update to justify the high price they charge. Way overpriced and offered nothing but a room. No breakfast, no water, just a high price for an overnight stay.

Whether business or personal Hilton Garden Inn is a wonderful choice no matter what city you are in. This is my go to safe choice for travel. Keep up the great work!!!

I would definitely stay at the Hilton Garden Inn when visiting Duke University! The staff was kind, our room was upgraded to a suite, breakfast was yummy and there were dining places nearby. We were happily surprised that they offered free shuttle within a 5 mile radius and we did not bring a car!

The accessible room had an extremely heavy main door with tight tension and difficult to open. The shower was a standard shower, not accessible via wheelchair. The room was tight and would never meet accessibility standards. That said, I’ve stayed here many times. The rooms are dated but clean. I’ve stayed inna proper accessible room here and it was great…just not sure what happened this time around. Breakfast is good, but omelettes have changed from 13 dollars to 19 dollars. Yikes. Excellent dining options nearby, like Parizade, Juju, and Del Toro. Expensive but all are exceedingly great choices.

Staying overnight for a concert. Nice rooms. Only two issues one that I encounter hat most Hilton hotels is the pillows are HORRIBLE. The other was the tubs are slick. Otherwise they were very nice rooms.

Last minute booking for weather delay. Overall, the room was nice, on the older side. I had dinner and a drink from the bar and service was great. They were slammed but still hospitable.

Excellent hotel. Easily accessible to Duke, and down the street from Whole Foods and other stores if you need to shop! Friendly staff, and nice little outdoor seating and indoor bar/restaurant. Overall great hotel.

Great experience! The elevators and doors looked a bit worn and some of the furniture is a bit tired but would totally stay again!!

Only thing that should have been better was self check-in. I was able to use the app to check-in, but I still need to stop at the front desk upon arrival before my digital key was issued to me.

Hotel front staff were very informative of restaurants in the area. They gave us walking directions to a nearby restaurant after a long day of driving.

It was my second time visiting this place! I will come back again next time. Everyone was nice! Thank you.

We stay the night of the 24th. Our car was broken into during the night. The staff made no effort to notify us. The next morning when i found my car and came in to tell the staff they said, "oh yours was ONE OF 3 broken into last night." We did not see the park at own risks at night when we arrived. There are also no cameras to help in cases like this.

Just above and beyond in terms of service. Delightful food. Could not ask for friendlier people. Huge room, very clean…

Reserved a king on Nov 24 and when i arrived on 12/12 they gave me a queen. When I questioned the desk, i was told that nothing could be done as they were sold out

Shortage of staff in dining room which resulted at breakfast of tables being left dirty with dirty crockery and food left on them. Only one waitress who was excellent but could not cope

Decent stay when visiting colleges. Do need a vehicle to visit Duke or UNC, Chapel Hill. It is adjoining residential complex and also coffee, food and dining options are in half mile perimeter.

The first thing I noticed while checking in was how pleasant the staff was. I even recieved a welcome text shortly after to check in with us. It's really nice and located.

We always stay here when I have an appointment at Duke Hospital. Excellent location near downtown and adjacent to Durham's famous 9th Street shops and restaurants. Highly recommend for its comfort, cleanliness, and good in-house bar and restaurant.

The hotel was very clean and staff were friendly.. the cleaning staff even found my AirPods and immediately called me after we checked out before we got too far from the hotel! Would stay there again!

What didn't I like? the mattress in my room needs an upgrade and the little kitchenette area need a sink, I had to use the sink in the bathroom for cleaning my personal cup that I travel with.
