Everything over all was good.

TV worked intermittently. Called the front desk to get it checked. Was told the manager would call me back, never did. Shower water pressure was weak and the “hot” water never got above lukewarm. Lobby/Breakfast area was like a sauna, made eating breakfast uncomfortable.

Everything was great except breakfast was not as advertised, eggs cold and dry, biscuits over cooked, wished they had waffles as pancakes very flat. Other then that room very comfortable and clean.

I can’t imagine what would happen if there was a serious issue on the property. In my opinion, these practices are unsafe both for the guests and the staff. Horrible property, stay away!!!

Additionally, there was little hot water, a broken hot tub, and a pool, the size of a hot tub. I would not send my mother-in-law to this hotel.

Noisy

Everything was great, BUT the water pressure was the worst and the hot water ran out fast. We were on the 1st floor. The staff was cordial but not overly friendly, but to their defense, they were solo and perhaps a tad overwhelmed when we arrived at 9 pm. The hotel was booked with soccer players.

The property was clean and the staff was helpful and nice. The breakfast was very good. The only problem was that the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work.

From check in to check out stay was great. Front desk was very helpful and even when coming in late at night after work very helpful. The room was very clean and very comfy beds. All the amenities of home with dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast was excellent. My kids loved it all. Will be staying again if needed.

We had stayed at this location several times before. So, we reserved the only room with a roll-in-shower for our disabled son, but when we went to check-in, we were informed it had been given to someone else. We had to scrabble at 9pm to find another hotel. Manager just blamed it on a new staff member. A reservation should give you confidence you have the room you reserved when you get there.

Staff was friendly. Parking is tight. Sketchy people sometimes in the area, behind the bushes and trees in the parking lot. It felt unsafe at times.

Everything was good, we had one issue. The room next to ours was occupied by people that verbally and physically fought for a number of hours. We called the main desk and they said the would call them. If that happened it only helped for about 5 minutes. It was a long night.

It was quite, I slept really good. One month later they ran my debit card for another night, $213.05 had to report it to my bank as fraud. Pretty scandalous, I wonder how many times this has happened to other customers and went unnoticed.

When we got to our room the bed was unmade had no sheets on it. So we got another room there was no cold water only scolding hot, there was stains on the floor. For the price i paid it wasn’t worth it. The bed was comfortable.

The manager was very unprofessional. There was no acknowledgement from her when we arrived at the front lobby. I tried calling the front desk while sitting in the lobby to get help checking in and she kept hanging up my calls then lied about it. I asked for an explanation as to why she couldn’t answer the call to simply let me know they’re busy or short staffed anything would have been acceptable besides deliberately hanging up. She refused to explain her reasoning and told me if I wanted to make a formal complaint I had to talk to her. There was no effort to rectify the inhospitable situation from her part or the hotel. I don’t usually leave bad review as I work in customer service myself for 18 years now. However, this was the worst hotel stay experience I’ve encountered so far. I will unfortunately not be be booking a room here going forward.

Staff was not available to check in at front desk until about 20-25 mins after we arrived . We had a funeral to attend at East Laen at 5pm and we needed to drop off our items after a long drive . We were very Disappointed with the check -in. Front desk person mention he was in the restroom.

I would never stay here again. We checked in, saw the condition of the room, and left the same night. The room was disgusting. There was something on the wall next to the toilet, the shower was dirty, the window shades were stained and discolored, and the AC unit had multiple pieces missing. It felt extremely unsanitary and nothing like what you would expect for the price. This place is essentially a run-down motel and is absolutely not worth the cost. The only positive part of our experience was a staff member named Anton. He was incredibly kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the manager never contacted us back even though we left our phone number. We are grateful to Expedia for helping us resolve the situation. If you are considering booking here, I strongly recommend choosing somewhere else. The staff member who helped us was the only bright spot in an otherwise very disappointing experience. The owners really need to invest in cleaning up and restoring this property.

Pool and hot tub out of order. That was one of the main reasons of staying there. Also the hot water was barely warm for showers.

My room was not ready at check-in time. Staff was observed to argue in front of one another. The key cards constantly needed to be reprogrammed. Overall my experience and stay was poor, I would not recommend this hotel given the price.

The other major problem was the shower would run out of hot water. I was up at 6am and midway through a 10 minute shower it was running cold. The wife and kids also had a cold shower. I do not recommend this hotel at all. We will be staying at the Hilton that was in the area going forward.

It was good but the bath was bad

The room was very disappointing. The room is old. There were ants in the bathroom, carpets need cleaning, walls need scrubbing (red stains splattered throughout), outlets not working by the television , and the thermostat on the wall did not control the temperature. You can hear the other rooms doors slamming all hours of the evening. You can also hear other occupants through the walls/ceiling and walking around. It was spacious which was nice! We only stayed about 15 hours otherwise I would have left.

Honestly I was scared to stay initially based off the google reviews but I’m glad I went off the hotel.com reviews instead. The outside was average. It’s kind of hidden so not much curb appeal or a huge parking lot but it was fine. The lobby was above average. Clean, and basic which is good. Staff was hospitable. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was a basic breakfast. I’ll admit not a ton of options but wasn’t bad at all. Overall I’d stay here again.

This was a perfect place to stay for our family of six visiting family in Elk Grove. Courteous staff, clean rooms, pleasant decor - all this was great, but most hotels can meet these expectations. The sofa bed mattress was actually acceptably comfortable so bonus points for this. But the main reason for the 5-star rating was the breakfast - it was truly excellent, maybe even outstanding, the best we’ve had at a ‘normal’ hotel in many years, and actually better than another Holiday Inn Express we stayed at just a few months ago. They even had sausage gravy with biscuits - we thought this was a discontinued breakfast item, but this hotel still had it.

Sunday morning the Water was only at Luke warm in the morning- we couldn’t take our usual hot shower. We notified the front desk but they couldn’t help/fix since maintenance didn’t start until after 9am. Very disappointing

Upon calling the service desk I was told the maintenance person is working on it. It was 8:30 am and I stayed at this place because I had an early morning business meeting in Sacramento. Due to no hot water available I couldn’t take shower and missed my very very important business meeting. I should be refunded the entire amount since I couldn’t accomplish the reason for which I had booked one night there

In the morning, the housekeeper walked in before checkout time and knocked when she had already opened the door. The breakfast choice was good, but the eggs were very dry.

We have arrived around seven and we were given a room that only had one bed when I had requested a double bed. I had to go back downstairs to receive a new key for the new room. The next morning for breakfast, the coffee tasted like water and the sausage and eggs were dry and hard.

No hot water in the entire hotel for the entire duration of the stay; and they knew about it and continued to let people check in; only the night clerk said he would tell the manager and get us a full refund, no one on the day stay even mentioned it until we brought it up; absolutely terrible

We stayed seven days, the second days, we don’t have hot water for shower. On our third days, the tub drainage was clogged and we were told, they offered to move us to another room in the middle of the night while waiting for maintenance work order in the next morning. We didn’t feel like moving three kids in the middle of the night, so decide to wait for the repair. Well they didn’t repaired it the next day, the maintenance work order didn’t do it. So, we called and offer to move us again. I fed up, and decided to move to another room in the middle of the night. We were assigned a new room. After moved our stuff to the new room, found out, no not water for shower again. So we shower in mildly warm. It seems like their hot water system is limited and you have to wait for your turn if not, no hot water in later evening. Lastly, I was charged $240 after we checked out when the entire reservation was paid in full thru Expedia… I called and was told to call back on Monday when the manager gets there. It was a total terrible experience. I would not recommended this hotel to anyone. Be aware…

I picked this over other places due to the breakfast advertising. They were out of everything by the time I got down there at 8:30am. The food that was left was not nearly what was pictured in the photos on Hotels.com. It was in a shady spot behind a store and there were weird guys just hanging out by the side doors. Two times I tried to check out on the last day and couldn’t find an employee. They were nice when I did get to speak with someone. They did try to modify the room but they had water heater issues so my boyfriend had to take a cold shower after he ate his apple for breakfast. Disappointed. I will not be staying here again.

I stepped off the elevator and both feet were in glue that the guys were waiting to lay carpet on. I had no idea and there was no place for me to go. They yelled for me to stop, I had to take off my shoes (now with glue on the bottoms) and find my room barefoot. What a mess!

The staff were top notch. Very professional. I was having oral surgery a couple hours from home so needed a hotel to recoup in before driving home the next day. The room was very clean and quiet. The air conditioner kept the room cool and was very quite. WIFI was great. Was able to watch YouTube and Netflix with no issues. Loved the pillows. Having a fridge and microwave in the room was very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was super nice, but the tubs need updgradinf or cleaning. My feet are itchy and breaking out now, and i used the towels and sandals trying to stay "safe" but the water would just pool in the tub... nasty.

Place was nice and clean, but I found That the electrical outlets were all in weird places and didn’t fit the hotel furniture as far as spacing. Shower had almost zero water pressure so my shower was ridiculously long and the opposite of relaxing or refreshing, same with bathroom sink faucet.

We checked into our room and upon pulling the sheets back, immediately, discovered there were crumbs and food all over the sheets. On top of that, when we left the room later and forgot one of our key cards, the other one didn’t work when we tried to get in. We went to the front desk and we were told that we better not let that happen again because he gets tired of making new keys for people. Also, they were only able to give us three extra towels for a party of 5 because they didn’t have any available. Just a bunch of factors led to a less than enjoyable stay. The hot tub was broken, the gate to the pool was broken. The list goes on.

Every employee we talked to were very kind. Our check in was so smooth & quick & the clerk was very nice. The lovely lady who tended the breakfast area was also so friendly & cheerful. We can’t say enough nice things about this hotel!!

We stayed at this hotel few times a year for the last 3 years. Recently, they have no hot water during shower. Somehow , the housekeeping staff did not make the bed, only change towels and garbage removal. Strange .

The microwave was not the best. The Keurig the broken. It didn't work at all.

The staff were so kind, welcoming, and helpful. They kept everything very clean. If I needed anything, they helped me right away. The breakfast was wonderful. I really enjoyed my stay here. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

However, the hot tab was broken and not working for 3 weeks as we were told. The pool was very small. My daughter and I arrived about 4 pm and looked forward to a relaxing evening using the pool and hot tub. We were very disappointed ! I would not have booked this hotel had I know the hot tub was out of service.. would it be possible to get a discount for the inconvenience?

This was a pretty descent stay. Staff was kind, got me checked in early, which was lovely because I arrived 4 hours early and was exhausted. They were very responsive to requests and I got the rest I needed!! I missed out on breakfast because I was not ready to let my bed go both days . It was clean, fairly quiet and I enjoyed my stay.

The amenities (shampoo, conditioner) not accessible not pumping. Complained to the front desk at least 3 times for someone to correct the issue, the next day same problem and was taken care of at their own time. I had to wait to take a shower at least one hour. Sofa chair was filthy with crumbs in between cushions. I complained to front desk upon checkout and was told to register complaint with Expedia for some sort of adjustment, possibly credit one night.

I didn’t like the dirty bathroom floor. I used a hand towel to try to clean it up. I think it was coffee from previous customers. There were no drinking cups in the bathroom.
