Every thing was very clean . The breakfast was ok . The only thing that I didn’t like was the dryer was out of order and the property didn’t have a gym . The night time receptionist was extremely nice ! My mom and I were unable to purchase a handicap room and my mom couldn’t get into the bed, so the receptionist lent us a stepladder ..

They really did not have a breakfast. Hard boiled eggs, cold cereal, And waffles really dont do it for me. If you are going to say you serve breakfast you got to do better than that. What you have is self-serve for an adolescent.

Very convenient to the highway our room had just been remodeled so it was very nice. The staff were friendly and breakfast was great.

The staff was incredible. The hotel is older and in need of renovations particularly in the bathrooms and door closures (ours struggled to stay closed). However, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our neighbors were extremely noisy, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

It really exceeded my expectations. For the price I paid i thought It would have been a lower grade hotel but when I opened the door I was impressed how clean the place was. time. Since that was my first experience with the hotel i thought it was going to be deserted at night but when I left and came back late in the night I realized it very safe .

Room size was good. My teenagers weren’t allowed to access breakfast without an adult and I was in the room with their sleeping younger siblings and couldn’t leave… So that was disappointing

I chose the Super 8 by Wyndham to stay close to a work conference. Honestly was not expecting much from an older two story motel but was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. Materials and decor had been recently updated in current design and colors. I would stay again.

The room was newly remodeled & very clean. Very nice aesthetic throughout the room and bathroom. No mold in the shower area. The property & pool was VERY well kept! My kids were able to swim and enjoy the pool as well. I will be back on my next trip!

Went to the local Walmart bought a bunch of roach traps and set them out throughout the room. We could not walk barefooted or lay our clothes out or have any food in the room had to sleep with the lights on due to the creepy crawlers.

Full Story: Look, I’m a reasonable traveler. I’ve stayed in budget motels before, and I know that sometimes nature finds a way indoors. When I walked into my room at the Super 8 in Ellenton after a long day at the beach, and a cockroach decided to take a stroll across the pillow, my family and I were definitely grossed out. We weren't looking for a war zone; we just wanted a clean place to sleep. We politely declined the front desk agent's offer to move to another room (it was past 10 PM, we were exhausted, and frankly, the damage to our peace of mind was already done). We packed up and went to a different hotel. No drama, no shouting match. Just a decision that we couldn't sleep there. Here is where the one-star rating comes in: It’s not about the bug. It’s about the bill. Expedia was fantastic; they processed our refund immediately once we explained the situation. However, the hotel itself refused to issue a refund. They kept our money despite us never sleeping a wink in the room because of a pest infestation. A bug is an unfortunate accident; refusing to refund a guest who left due to unsanitary conditions is a business choice. If you can't handle the occasional insect, that's fine. But please, don't charge people for a room they couldn't use because of it. Save your money and go somewhere that treats guests like humans, not revenue streams.

We booked 2 rooms, the hotel is nice and clean, good location near waffle house & whisky Joes. Breakfast was good, the hotel looks like it has been renovated, at least the bedrooms, the bath not much, overall for the price paid is very good.. i did see a small roach in my br the last night :(

Property allowed pets. Was a convenient location to surrounding shopping like the premium outlets of Ellenton. Walmart was also close by. Walls seemed to be super thin but that could just be inconsiderate neighbors...

This area is older and not been modernized yet, But.......with the new bridges, and more attractions coming I see it getting better. Therefore the motel was old and run down but not moreso than the surrounding area. Room was very clean. Staff were very friendly.

It's located in an area with a lot of light manufactured, nearly no services nearby, next to a freeway... not particularly actractive. But it was clean and i felt safe, and the room was reasonably up to date. Areasonably good stay for a lot less than i would have paid at other hotels nearby.

The kitchen was disgusting when we arrived. Food splattered on the wall, crusty ring around stove burner, left behind rice and crumbs in the cabinet, and nasty sauce that was still wet on top of the fridge. The “living room” smelled like dirty feet: couldn’t tell if it was the air conditioner, or the curtain above it. The floors were absolutely disgusting and have never been scrubbed. If you walked on them barefoot, the bottom of your feet turned black. The bedroom was decent and mostly clean. The bed was squeaky and there was mold all around the shower tile where it meets the tub. Parking was fine, staff was good, and pool was good. Breakfast was just okay, nothing special.

Breakfast was very good although no cooked eggs or meats. Parking was more than sufficient. Staff very pleasant.

Staff was friendly and always willing to help. Cleaning people was always keep the room clean and organized. The room itself needs some little touches, some love. You have a good place don’t let it trash out for saving some money.

The room floor was dirty the bathroom was too small I asked for an ADA room and didn't get any response from desk clerk we were put in the back of the hotel where construction crews were the men in the room next to us was sitting outside with a bottle of vodka drinking it into the night

The rooms were nice. Very clean. The pool was nice and clean also. The breakfast was bad. Waffles, cereal, or oatmeal was pretty much your only choice. I prepaid and the cashier charge me a second time. I'm having to jump through hoops to get my money back. Lots of businesses in the area and only one lane heading out to the main road so be prepared to wait 20 minutes at the light when you leave. It's OK if you're only spending the night, but I wouldn't spend any extended time there.

2nd room was a suite that was 2 rooms. A/C was in the living room & no air circulation to get that air to the bedroom. There was a standing fan you had to keep going if you wanted to be cool. Ants in that room too but only a few. They need to have exterminator be coming regularly.

Breakfast is very average options, cereal, fresh fruit, juices and coffee. Room has been recently renovated . Clean , comfy stay, housekeepers very friendly, desk clerk as well. If you're expecting the Mariott go to the Marriott. If you want a clean comfortable stay, cant beat it for the money.

This was the easiest check in I have ever had. We arrived in the wee hours of the morning and did on-line check-in and rang the bell and were given keys. Check-in at hotel took 45 seconds.

For the price, this was an excellent stay. Very clean room, fully stocked with extra towels and other needs. Air conditioner worked very well, keeping room nice and cool, and breakfast was simple but offered us the tea and coffee, and piece of fruit we wanted. Would stay again.

I would have given you 4 star review. I didn't because you have construction going on and heard drilling and Hammering for hours. You should have had better consideration for your customers.You should let people know that you're under construction and there will be a lot of noise.

When we walked into our room there was lots of water on the floor, had to use 2 towels to get it up and a 3rd towel to leave on the floor to absorb the rest of the water. The chair in the room was totally disgusting, we couldn’t sit in it. The shower/tub wasn’t the cleanest either. Needless to say, we had to clean the room.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were attentive. The linen bright and fresh. The comfort of the bed superb. However, a big brown spider and a large cobweb were on the ceiling directly above our bed, a strong sewer odor coming from the sink every time you open the faucet and a plastic sign with instructions on how to use the coffee maker was so faded that I had no idea why they still placing it on the bathroom counter. Those are the reasons we scored them a 1 in cleanliness. The staff was responsive when we told them about the spider. Lastly, at 9:12 am a lady from the cleaning staff repetitively knocked on our room door and loudly announced hskg. when the check out time stated 12…They need to be more detail oriented.

Fortunately I asked for a room with a pool view because the outside rooms look unsafe. It is very dark and it is not a gated property. The staff is great, they try to make your stay the best but they run out of tools. The person who did the coaxial cable installation just left a mess for all to see. I went as a family and the public seemed a little strange but we rested and nothing happened. It was a cheap and comfortable stay if you ignore the details outside your room.

Location is old & run down defiantly not worth the price paid. The AC in the room froze up all night & the room would not stay cold. The bathroom had or has URINE spots & Streams all over the floor and walls. The other guests were super load all night "not your problem" the overall guest services at this property we severely lacking. The friendlessness & over all attitude of staff at this property was dismal at best. This has probably been one of the most dissatisfying & distasteful overnight stays that I have had. I would like to discuss my dissatisfaction at more length with a supervisor or someone from either corporation Hotels.com or Wyndam.

We got exactly what we expected. The only issue is it seemed like the air conditioning wasn't able to bring down the temp in the room very well.

The rooms were nice. Decor and bedding was great. No bugs. But trying to take a bath with the grout and finishings were moldy was unpleasant. The staff doing upgrades was continuously washing air conditioners out by the pool. As far as safety there's a lot of non working junker cars. Good for price just not quite there.

I came from Miami to brendeton, the hotel is now in good condition at all! But the worse part was the smell of the room, we try to change the odor whit perfume but still was noticeable! The floor was dirty and I have 1 year old daughter and didn’t allow her to rich the floor around the room! Never again.

Upon arrival we were placed in a handicap king bed room. When i notifies the front desk they were able to quickly and easily give us the room we had reserved. However, this room the toilet wouldn't flush properly, the sinkcounter area was unfinished and the came to our room multiple times to measure and pick up forgotten tools. Also they were re-roofing the builing which had suppy trucks making noise starting at 6am each day. We tried to check out early, and although in-person the hotel agreed but since then hotels.com says they are declining a refund for our last day. The maid service was daily and wonderful

The woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and it was nice to have that when you are tired from traveling. We were happy with everything here.

The room was comparable to the Disney Value resort that we stayed in. Only issue was the curtains had holes in it just need replaced. Desk attendant was very nice. More than I personally expected to pay for a motel but the surrounding area was comparable.

The room size and condition were great. It was quiet. The only issue was when using the hot water on the kitchen area, the plumbing rattled.

They are doing some much needed remodeling - heavy paint smell in room all nite, & unfinished board under sink, but OK. Thing that aggravated me most, they ask to do online check-in, which I did, so you have to enter CC info & copy of DL, but upon arrival, they ask for both of these again - hate stuff like that. Then upon completing ck in, there was nowhere on there that gives address, or which hotel & I did not have it stored. Tried calling a couple, but they were no help.

Staff was so nice and they're very dog friendly. I love that they put us in a room that other people had pups too so understand they may bark at times. Also liked breakfast was offered every morning and so close to everything.

There were some ants and a cockroach on our first floor room and a lot of noise late at night from other guest. I appreciated the renovations to the room and the friendliness of the staff though!

This worked as 1 night stay where minimal time spent on property. Thought prices were high for “Super 8” quality. Wyndham may have taken them over and prices went up, but stay only if you have to!

This hotel was damaged by Hurricane Milton and is having repair work done on a number of the units. This said our room was well kept and their was no extraneous noise to speak of. If you travel with dogs this is a great option for a nice stay in this highly populated area were the nearby hotels cost more and do not accept pets.

No laundry facility. Staff very unfriendly. Internet kept cutting in and out. Noise outside from working crews at 7:45am. We were on vacation and couldn’t get enough rest. Hot water not hot unless you let it run for around 20 minutes. Pictures and descriptions on website are not what the place looks like.
