Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. The breakfast, while appreciated, is a point of contention with some guests finding it limited or unimaginative.
- Cleanliness of the hotel and rooms
- Comfortable rooms and beds
- Limited or unimaginative breakfast options
- Parking issues, particularly for larger vehicles

Location and breakfast were excellent Small room. No room for our second suitcase

Staff were amazing and breakfast was great despite limited options. The options that they did have were excellent. Paper plates at breakfast were a bit of a bummer. The stupid motion light in the bathroom! WTF, who wants a face full of light when you get up at midnight to pee?

Decent hotel in a quiet but isolated area among other hotels. Front desk staff were pleasant.

Online it said I could check in at 18 years old but in person it was a struggle despite myself making the reservation
- 5/5
Room was fairly clean however there was a large ant on one of the beds. Didn't have a chance to use breakfast as it began after we needed to leave.
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and check in was smooth. The pool is more the size of a large hot tub, but the fitness center was spacious.

There was a light on all night outside my window. There were blackout curtains, and I did use them, but I prefer not to have to do that because it interferes with sleeping and waking. Do I sound fussy? Probably. That was the only thing I didn't like.

The gym was great, but small. The pool was small, but not crowded. The rooms and facility was clean, and their breakfast was well done. My only real "complaint" is the pillows were all overly stuffed, beautiful to look at, but hard to sleep on. Overall great hotel.

Everything was clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, while it had limited options, there was still a good variety and the spread was laid out well and well-maintained. Not sure if there was enough parking if the hotel reaches capacity; luckily, we were there on a weekday, so there was no problem. Also, getting out on Franklin to go towards Eugene or U of O, could be dicey without a signal to take a left turn.

We had sugar ants in our room/bathroom. Pool was really small. Breakfast was sparse, eggs and waffles were lukewarm/cold. No bacon or sausage offered.

Super comfortable bed! Great staff! Perfect location!

The highway is very close and loud from our “river view” room. I would not recommend this hotel due to traffic noise. It would have been appreciated to have the hotel clerk advise of the noise levels on the “river view” side and suggest staying on the other side of the building.
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly & accommodating, from reception to the housekeeping staff. Hotel super clean and comfortable. Very convenient area - great location for attending the Hult Center/downtown plus a walking trail just across the street. Didn’t get to take advantage of the pool or gym but both were clean, as were the lobby restrooms. Will stay again!
- 5/5
We stopped for a night enroute to Seattle. Very clean and neatly maintained, checkin was a breeze. It’s right across the Williamette river, convenient for a walk along the river.
- 5/5
Clean modern decor, fresh and bright looking and feeling
- 4/5
Comfortable beds, clean premise, front desk attendant was very friendly and had a lot of recommendations. Great spot to stay if going to a show nearby!
- 4/5
The hotel was extremely clean and well laid out and put together. My only complaint was the breakfast was lacking choices for protein options. It was mostly a lot of bread and muffins and Friday morning. There was no breakfast available and as we were all standing there waiting, nobody was communicating with us what was going on? We had to go and ask questions and try to find out if the food was even going to be available at all while the two front desk people stood there And didn’t say a word to the 10 people who are waiting for food . Not a big deal but when you’re on a business trip and you have a small amount of time to get to where you need to be and you’re counting on the fact that you’ve paid a little more for a hotel that offers breakfast and then they don’t have it. It definitely throws a wrench in your plans.
- 2/5
If you are a light sleeper do not stay here. The beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly but those are the only redeeming qualities. The hotel is very small so no matter what room you have you will either be near the stairs, the elevator or an ice machine. Plus the road noise from the highway is really loud. The only things nearby are the refuse center, another hotel, and the highway. Maybe the big draw is the river rapids across the highway? The pool is a joke, it is so small do not plan on trying to swim. The hotel is very clean, almost too clean. The overwhelming smell of air freshener was everywhere. Maybe they are doing this to cover up the smell of the garbage center that is next door. Not worth the cost. I could get a hotel nicer than this for half the cost in Portland. They charge a big city fee for a tiny hotel that isnt even in Eugene, it's in Springfield which is a dump.
- 4/5
My one suggestion is to improve the quality of the breakfast offerings. The sausage, egg/ham sandwiches, and quiche were gross. Otherwise, we had a nice stay.
- 5/5
We had a great experience during our stay. Easy check-in process, well maintained property and friendly staff. Our room was very clean and comfy bed! We’d stay here again.
- 5/5
Coming back from Vegas, a great place to stay
- 4/5
I didn’t like the road noise. The staff was all very friendly and efficient.
- 3/5
Breakfast was kept clean and well stocked. Cons: highway sounds are loud. Room was very small and difficult to navigate w/more than one person and one bag. Area is not very walkable.

- 5/5
Love the breakfast
- 5/5
Lots of dining options around the hotel, will stay again.

Noise level from street on freeway side was a little noisy. The toilet paper rolls in the bathroom had a metal flap which made use of it very clumsy. The water pressure was very low in shower. Breakfast was great hotel was clean. Bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only problem was the parking, not enough and very narrow, twice a big truck parked next to us and we had to get in through the passenger side.
- 5/5
Location is good in terms of being centrally located. It’s close to the highway so you do hear a little extra noise but it’s not bad. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Hotel and property were clean. Room was clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
My only complaint is the lack of close dining options.
- 4/5

Very clean and convenient location
- 4/5
Everything was fine except the breakfast options.
- 5/5
Location is perfect for getting to the arena. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is fantastic. The women tending to the breakfast area were the most attentive and accommodating people I’ve seen in quite some time. They constantly checked on all food and beverages, replaced and restocked items, and helped a few guests will specific needs such as to-go bags or meatless egg sandwich. This will always be my hotel of choice when staying in this area.
- 5/5
Staff very professional and kind. Room was spotless and smelled great. New carpet, very clean and updated bath, comfortable beds. Couldn't have asked for more in a room. Breakfast was a bit disappointing but hey- this a not a restaurant.
- 4/5
Clean, well kept roooms, good breakfast choices. Location was a little odd- view out the back towards the trail was full of trash. Great that they offered compostable service ware at breakfast, but no composting??

Nice one night stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a nice view of the River. The gym was very good for a hotel. Lots of dining options within a short driving distance. The breakfast was above average. Delicious scones and quiche. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Location is excellent to the university. Parking is easy and the parking lot is well light at night.
- 5/5
Great property! Nice rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Staff was outstanding, Hot breakfast was delicious. I felt the hotel took precautions for covid and sanitized well. The river walk was a nice trail. I loved the scenery, but I did not feel safe walking through the tunnels.
- 5/5
This hotel has comfortable beds, plenty of towels, fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. We did not have time to use the pool. Workout room was well equipped. Great price. 10 minute drive to the stadium and close to shopping/Starbucks. Close to the freeway. Will stay here again.
- 4/5
Property was clean and close to UO. Short drive to highway. Parking lot could be bigger. Hard to maneuver a full-size truck…although they do have 2 spots designated for truck parking.
- 5/5
Everything as expected. Very clean and quiet.

- 4/5
everything went very well and glad breakfast being served again

I stayed here for a week for business. During these difficult times, the staff did a tremendous job providing a safe environment for guests while at the same time being very attentive to guest needs. Well managed and well maintained facilities - excellent!
- 4/5
Parking was tight as there were 3 hotels in the same area. Covid affected our breakfast experience. Room and staff were fine
- 5/5
Property was clean and conveniently located but they charged me a bunch of media fees that I didn’t even know we used or was warned about
- 5/5
It was clean, friendly, close to farmers market and craft fair.
- 4/5
I didn’t care for the sound from the freeway, overnight and early morning.
- 5/5
Great stay! Breakfast was not ideal with only muffins and yogurt being served, but plenty of door dash options.
- 5/5
Convenient to airport
- 5/5
Our room was clean and comfortable! Service was quick and friendly.
- 5/5
Lots of parking. Although it’s next to the river, there is no easy access for walking the river path that is across the freeway and over the river. Would be nice to have full breakfast service again instead of 1 small item
- 5/5
Clean and quiet, nice view of the river. Pool is really really small
- 5/5
Excellent hotel
- 5/5
This was a fine room, clean, comfortable and quiet.
- 5/5
Great property and stay.
- 4/5
Staff nice, location convenient
- 5/5
I was in and out quick. I had a big truck and this hotel had a dirt patch running along the side that was perfect for my situation.
- 5/5
Very easy check-in. Staff was very friendly, rooms very clean and comfortable slept very well. Will definitely use again on my next trip to California!
- 3/5
It would be nice if the kitchen was open for room service. The room was clean. But other hotels have made a better presentation of cleanliness i.e. sealed clean sticker on the door, sanitary cover on remote, etc. The check-in was slow as the new associate was in training and there was no direction on what was closed/open or nearby. The room I had was next to the exit door on the first floor and I was kept up all night with the door closing over and over.
- 5/5
Comfy
