Reviews
The Parkway Inn is a budget-friendly motel with clean rooms and friendly staff, located near downtown Eugene. However, some guests have reported issues with the facilities and the surrounding area.
- Clean rooms
- Friendly staff
- Outdated facilities
- Surrounding area can be sketchy
- 4/5
Surprisingly quiet for a motel and the bed was quite comfortable. It's not fancy, but a very reasonable place to stay.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly, attentive, great water pressure in shower 😁😁😁
- 4/5
The family run place is conveniently located off the freeway. The family is very responsive to your needs. There’s a nice bed, microwave, frig, coffee machine, and they provide bottled water. The shampoo conditioner and lotion amenities could be better. Recommend the bottles you hang off the wall and refill.
- 4/5
Very neat and clean. Well managed property.

the staff are very nice. they offer free bottled water at the front desk. there is also a convenience store next door which is very useful for refreshments and snacks. it is not far from the shops downtown and very close to the river. it is a bit far from other outdoor activities but if you rent a car, it's probably fine. I took the bus and walked to trails which was fine for me. it is not far to walk to the eugene bus. there are homeless around the area but I didn't have any problems walking about. I would stay here again.

Clean place nice receptionist and all the employees
- 5/5
We were looking for somewhere to sleep, and this place was perfect. Nothing too fancy, but exactly as pictured. Quick check-in, clean rooms, and it didn’t break the bank!
- 5/5
The family who owns this could not be nicer. You can tell they take pride in their property and maintain it impeccably. Yep, rooms are a little tight (particularly the bathroom), but the shower was exceptional with great pressure and plenty of hot water. Outstanding value this place. Especially the warm, friendly, family hospitality!
- 4/5
Very clean and good value for Eugene
- 5/5
Perfect for the Eugene race this weekend in that shuttles were within walking distance. Room was clean, front desk staff friendly. Parking was a little tight but that was due to our vehicle, nothing the property could control.
- 5/5
Awesome staff. Clean and cozy room. Located within walking distance of some fun stuff.
- 5/5
The attendant was super helpful and kind
- 3/5
It was expensive for the quality. Good hot water. Clean room.
- 5/5
Rooms have been updated and are very clean. Convenient parking on property. Close enough to walk to most everything you mught need. Will stay again
- 3/5
The staff were very friendly. We were pleased with the early check in and ease with check out.
- 4/5
What I liked most about my stay was the cleanliness of the room. There was a small issue with the TV but that was resolved very quickly. The area was a bit noisy but overall not too bad. Also there was a small market near by and plenty of fast food restaurants to grab breakfast.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, room in good shape, competitive price.
- 4/5
The current staff is very friendly and helpful. The property has relatively limited parking for the guests if their rooms are filled.
- 4/5
Good place for staying at next trip to Eugene
- 4/5
Quite pricey for a no frills hotel for move in day. Couldn’t complain though, since all the other hotels I have status with were wildly pricey this weekend.
- 5/5
Came in with a friend for a Ducks game. Perfect for what we needed. Easy walk to the stadium. Will be my go to motel for games moving forward.
- 5/5
Cleanliness and staff were exceptional.
- 4/5
Good value.
- 5/5
I will stay here again
- 4/5
Not a great location. Older building, not fancy or new but well kept and our room was very clean which speaks volumes. Downtown is not a great area but it was conveniently close to everything.
- 5/5
The people at the front desk were amazingly nice and accommodating. There's plenty of places to eat and go shopping within walking distance. The convenience store right next door is handy and easy access to the freeway.
- 3/5
Friendly staff, convenient location, but sits at intersection of large, noisy roads and decor is outdated by decades. Would stay here if better (quieter) options weren’t available, but Parkway is only ever a backup option.
- 4/5
I like the gentleman at the front desk. His name was Shaun. He was very pleasant and help me find a place to eat.
- 5/5
Small but clean and affordable. Seemed like a sweet family running the place. I’ll be back!
- 3/5
Okay but tight parking, and rooms need updating.
- 5/5
Staff here was very friendly and quick to respond to any needs. Although hotel is located on busy street, it was not noisy and we slept very comfortably. We liked the price and we were able to walk to restaurants and the farmers market.
- 5/5
Owners/Staff were quick and helpful. They were attentive when I drove in at 10pm and could not find parking - they quickly were out to help me and created a space.
- 5/5
We found a newer restaurant called Abilities a few blocks away who hire those with disabilities to work. I recommend the cob salad and wings. Delicious food. The peanut butter cup desert was super rich but good.
- 4/5
Room was nice and clean just a little small
- 5/5
The people who run it are really nice, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked properly. The location is conveniently located near the center of Eugene.
- 4/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
- 2/5
We were leaving we realized someone tried to break into our by breaking the door handle off. Luckily they were not able to enter our car. Something needs to be done about wiith all the drugs and homeless people.
- 4/5
The room was very clean, and the owners were accommodating when we came in a day late because of a missed flight.
- 4/5
owner spent time blasting local Democrats and praising Trump. Had no connection to motel stay
- 5/5
Area did have some homeless people around (not on property just near buy). The homeless did not disturb you it does cause a little safety concerns for females walking alone (but that’s really any situation). Also out of control of the property.
- 3/5
The hotel itself is located in a busy place and right off the freeway. The traffic and street noise made it difficult to sleep at night. One of the double beds was very uncomfortable with broken springs. All of this said, however, the hotel itself was very clean and the staff were nice and friendly.
- 5/5
The only thing that I would change is having adjustable beds. Even if a person had to rent the control to make it work it would be worth it. That is not a complaint at all it's just a suggestion!
- 4/5
Slept good even with the traffic
- 4/5
Friendly and clean
- 5/5
Clean and friendly.
- 5/5
It was super easy to check in, clean room
- 4/5
No frills for a couple nights in town. Walking distance to a beer garden and some chain cafes and restaurants. A couple miles to the U of O campus. The staff was friendly.
- 4/5
We went to Eugene to go to Autzen stadium. While most hotels were gouging travelers coming for the game, this hotel was very economical. The owners were accommodating and very courteous.
- 5/5
This property offers a basic no frills accommodation for a stay close to downtown Eugene. The rooms are small but very clean and the owners are very nice and accommodating. The area can get a little loud at times, but that is expected near the downtown area. I will stay at this property again.
- 4/5
Great bed, no hassles
- 5/5
Very clean and staff was attentive to requests.
- 4/5
Great staff and quick check-in.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Room was clean. Only complaints are the location is not that easy to get in and out of, and the matress was not great. Other than that my stay was great! I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Nice locally owned motel with great individuals running the operation. Shower was great with safety bars and water heated up immediately. Near bus stop and several restaurants. Would stay again if I am in Eugene
- 5/5
beds are good place is nice with microwave and refrigerator if asked
- 5/5
Quick and easy, clean, comfortable. Close to food.
- 3/5
Noisy bath fan and noisy area. I expected more for the price.
- 5/5
Friendly clean and convenient
- 5/5
Great staff

- 4/5
Very nice and helpful staff! Easy check in and out. Clean room. Comfortable beds. AC was nice for this time of year. Heard some traffic noise but otherwise great location right off freeway. Starbucks and Five Guys across the street and short walk (or drive) into downtown area for any other food, entertainment or shopping your heart desires!
- 4/5
Great place with things working.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful and efficient. Room was very clean. Fridge and microwave very convenient. Parking and lighting were very good.
- 4/5
Clean
- 5/5
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, the internet was fast and the staff were extremely nice.
- 4/5
Perfect for a stopover in Eugene.
- 4/5
Not having any morning coffee in the room or in the office was not a good thing.
- 4/5
Staff was very good
- 1/5
Smoker smell in room, what sounded like, wife abuser next door. Awful.
- 4/5
Clean, friendly and helpful, just wish had coffee in room
- 4/5
1. Location. Convenient for those looking for immediate freeway/highway access. Next to an arterial. Might pickup more road noise than you could be expecting. 2. Staff. Super friendly and made the reservation confirmation process seamless. The staff walk the property, making them ready for moments like when our card key wasn't working. 3. Room. The room itself is comfortable. The only issues we encountered arose from the mistake of leaving the air conditioning off. As a result, our room overheated. 4. Amenities. This isn't a Best Western or Holiday Inn. So, don't expect a swimming pool, hot breakfast, or bathrobes and slippers. This is a motel for a quick night or weekend. You want a free meal? Go somewhere else. Overall, this was an inexpensive option for a quick overnight stay.
- 5/5
The best thing about the property was the staff. They were friendly, attentive and informative. The location was perfect for my needs.
- 5/5
Structurally and in appearance this is a very simple, classic American motel. But they have a thoughtful and dedicated staff that works hard and keeps things running smoothly. They gave us fantastic food recommendations and were professional and courteous.
- 4/5
The Parkway Inn might be the best value for lodging in Eugene. It is an older motel, but our room was freshly painted and clean, and it had perfectly serviceable furnishings (though some people might find the double bed too small for their liking), a heater/AC that worked well and a large mini-fridge. Though it is on a busy street, we didn't hear any noise at night with the window closed. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
- 5/5
This one of cleanest rooms I have been in for a very long time. This is the second time we have stayed at the Parkway Inn for a reason. My wife and I appreciate how the Inn is kept clean and the staff is very attentive. We will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Hard to find using GPS
- 2/5
Drain in shower don’t work and bathroom sink didn’t drain. Door lock didn’t work hardly. Won’t stay again
- 3/5
The drain in the bathroom sink and the shower trained very short, slowly, causing water to back up in thr shower. It was a very good value for the price.
- 4/5
Friendly and pleasant. It’s a good location near to downtown Eugene and UO, but not walking distance.
- 3/5
A bit difficult to get to given 1-way streets; tight parking. Bare-Bones (as expected and as-desired) and adequate for our needs.
- 1/5
Smelled like mold from tje moment i walked in ..started sneezing.. now eys watering.
- 4/5
Our room didn't have any towels or wash clothes at all
- 4/5
My thoughts are that this place is exactly what a Inn/motel is. Setting next to a major road/intersection it is what it is. The staff were great and friendly. I was there during an ice storm that basically shot down the city. With cars being iced over and frozen doors. The staff was around and tried to help those that needed help.
- 5/5
Owner personable. Most other choices were very expensive in Eugene
- 5/5
Service was grate
- 5/5
Nice clean quite
- 4/5
Easy access and parking. Walkable to lots of good restaurants and bars. Small but comfortable room. Very friendly staff and easy check in/out.
- 4/5
Really grateful to the kind front desk lady that was checking on me frequently to make sure everything was ok (perhaps bc I travelled solo). The motel is right next to the busy road, but the noise winds down around 10pm.
- 4/5
Could use a coffee maker in room.
- 5/5
very friendly
- 5/5
The rooms are clean and offer a great level of nostalgia. I would stay here again.
- 2/5
The people seem nice but very old and our room was right on the street very noisy could not sleep had a big tv but if watching from the bad still too small. Personally not going to be my choice again.
- 5/5
Would for sure go back!
- 5/5
Great treatment safe location really clean rooms
- 5/5
The hotel was well maintained. Prompt service everyday. Unfortunately outside of the hotel area like most cities had several homeless people sheltering there
- 5/5
The room was small, clean, comfortable. The mattress was practically new! So comfortable! We have no complaints at all. AC worked great. Easy access for on and off ramp for the freeway. We were at the top of the stairs, you'd think it would have been noisy, but it wasn't. Service was friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Bed was very comfortable. Outside the motel looked rundown but the room was very clean
- 5/5
For what we needed, this location was perfect. The Cornbread Cafe was 2 minutes away, and the Hult Event Center was 5 minutes away. The whole weekend was so smooth and easy.
- 5/5
Easy access, very clean room but maybe not quite enough parking, will know later tonight.
- 3/5
Pillows are bad
- 4/5
I went for a run after I checked in.The few blocks to the west of the property are sketchy. Homeless folks in the alley and an abandoned house a few blocks away. The owners of this property are friendly and do a great job keeping it clean. There are plenty of things to walk to in the area, it is unfortunate that the city isn't doing their part.
- 4/5
Average room, thin pillows, next to busy road
- 5/5
Super clean and comfortable. The folks who run the property are super friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
Would definitely stay again while in Eugene
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable bed, fridge & micro in room, very friendly helpful staff. Ask for extra towels, & bring your own soap/shampoo (those provided are tiny 😄).
- 4/5
One suggestion: Replace the floral bedspreads. They make the rooms (especially in pictures) look out of date.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly, and I got upgraded to a room with jacuzzi! It's a bit tricky to drive to the hotel -- it is easy to take a wrong turn and wind up on the freeway! So use the GPS.
- 5/5
Beautiful room and atmosphere
- 2/5
Grossly overpriced for the quality of accommodation.
- 4/5
No complaints
- 3/5
Clean with comfy bed and nice owners. No conditioner or lotion provided. Room needs total design refresh- nothing much matches or even goes together. Big problem in that the door locks don't work and it's in a sketchy area. the owner opened them up for us though. And it was expensive! A similar hotel nearby cost half as much the day before
- 3/5
Sketchy neighborhood tv did not work
- 4/5
The beds were comfortable and the staff were great. I would still want to stay here again on my next trip back to Eugene.
- 3/5
This is a no frills room. There is a refrig and a microwave in the room. No bathtubs. It is on a very busy street. The staff was very nice.
- 5/5
It was clean and quiet
- 5/5
Checkin was easy, and staff was friendly!
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable - a great place to stay in downtown Eugene!
- 5/5
This family run motel had the nicest and most accommodating staff. And while this is not a five star resort, the kindness of the staff (especially Sean!) made it a wonderful stay.
- 5/5
Great selection and quality of programs on TV. The room was clean, bathroom clean and shower worked well. The A/C system was excellent... not too noisy as some places I've stayed.
