Just what we like. Quiet, solitary, kitties running around. Wonderful home-cooked breakfast. The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are as well. Coffee is a little weak. The scenery is forest out of all windows.

This quaint place is perfect for stop-overs traveling through Flagstaff or anyone staying longer and checking out local sites. We stayed one night with my 2 yr old tho the couch could make a small bed for another child or two. The back is open forest with a hiking path, allowing one to hike as quickly as they can get shoes on. There’s a ton of privacy and the owners are minimally intrusive. They are very accommodating for the delicious and large breakfast they bring you at your requested time in the morning, accommodating all sorts of requests and diet types while using the eggs and veggies from their farm and local artisan products. Such a treat and for an insanely well-priced experience!!

I rarely leave reviews but this was one of my best stays. I couldn’t recommend this BnB more. The place was cozy with. a beautiful forest in the backyard. Marlene and Steve are wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome as soon as we got there. She is also an incredible cook. She accommodated our dietary redirections and made us the most amazing breakfast. We can’t wait to go back.

Small, cozy guest room seperate from the main home. Very peaceful. Owners are very nice. Served a nice, healthy homemade breakfast! You can go out the back gate of the property and you're literally in the forest! Beautiful! Very much enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
Quiet area, with access to hiking trails behind property. Wonderful breakfast served every morning. Friendly and attentive, and not bothersome. What I didnt like: Internet did have some issue when I first got there, but that was an internet provider issue and was resolved by the next day.

The proprietors we're extremely kind

Beautiful and quiet location. Great hosts who made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

I enjoyed the quaintness of the b and b, as well as the owners and Coconino area behind the room. Breakfast was fabulous. The only downside was couch was uncomfortable, bed and shower too small, but overall, very nice. Loved the french press coffee, the chickens and the fresh eggs for breakfast.
- 5/5
Our hosts were wonderful- very helpful and responsive. We would stay here again when in Flagstaff.
- 4/5
A cozy, comfortable suite in a quiet rural setting. Wonderful hosts who provided a wholesome breakfast with outstanding coffee. We will probably visit them again.

Very quaint and cozy location. The service was excellent and friendly. The garden-like setting was inviting and beautiful.
- 5/5
The place was amazing and not at all what we expected. There is a little guest house out behind their residence that backs up to the national forest. Our dog was treated like family and loved wandering the woods. The breakfast the next morning was delicious with homemade nut bread and yogurt and items from her garden. We would definitely visit again if traveling through Flagstaff.
- 4/5
Good value for the money. Space is private and the hosts are very welcoming. The breakfast was enormous and had a lot of variety.

Lovely B and B run by delightful couple. Warm and friendly. Spectacular breakfast!

We had an amazing stay at the Elden trails bed and breakfast. It was roomy and very comfy. We only stayed one night but it was very nice.
- 5/5
Excellent, super-quiet place. Lovely accomodations and wonderful hosts! We plan to visit again this year, when we have more time to stay, and will most definitely rent this BnB as our first choice.
- 5/5
Steve and Marnie were so hospitable and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and the accommodations were fabulous. Beautiful views of the forest and mountain behind their property. We would defiantly again!
- 5/5
Had such an amazing and memorable experience. Place was unbelievably quaint and cozy. We had the fortune of having fresh snow on the ground which only added to the place's charm. Next morning's breakfast alone was worth the price of admission. Steve and Marnie are true pros and superhosts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
- 5/5
Very nice people and clean place.
- 5/5
Marnie and Steve were super sweet and really made us feel welcome and comfortable.
- 3/5
If a guest has a disability or health condition it is not place to stay a very steep walk up the drive way as well as other steps to go up to the room. Not handicapped accessible. Breakfast had hair in food the two morning we tried it so told them we did want more breakfast. I was recovering from hip replacement so it was difficult to get around. If i had know the steep climb to get to room would not have booked
- 5/5
Wonderful setting in the pines. Lovely garden and tranqul pond. Fun chickens to watch. Room confortable with lots of nostalgis.
- 5/5

Fresh eggs from chickens on-site and a direct access to the national forest. A lovely experience! Thanks Marnie and Steve!!!!
- 5/5
Breakfast was the best, ever, according to my husband, owners were gracious and accommodating. Nice view of the woods and walking trail out of our window. Shower was a bit small, but the suite was spacious.
- 5/5
Such a sweet and cozy spot to stop on a road trip! My dog and I loved having trails to explore right out the door and breakfast was DELICIOUS!
- 5/5
Amazing clean and wonderful hosts. Fresh home made bread and yogurt and cheese. Wonderful
- 5/5
This was more like staying with good friends than in paid accommodations. The studio is snug and very comfortable, there was a wonderful, homemade gourmet breakfast, and plenty of trails to explore right behind the house. Steve and Marnie are doing a wonderful job. We would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
We stayed at Elden Trails on our way home from Albuquerque to Phoenix. It was a great way to break up the long drive, and an even better way to stave off the 100 degree temperatures of Phoenix for one more day. Behind the B&B, we explored miles and miles of trails through the forest pines. Inside the B&B we relaxed to the beautiful garden, the happy hens, and a fantastic homemade giant breakfast. Thanks, Steve and Marnie, for the refreshing getaway, and for letting us stay there with all our dogs!
- 5/5
Cozy studio with very accommodating hosts - Marnie and Steve. Great home cooked breakfast with local flavourful ingredients. Very quiet location, near local sites. A very enjoyable stay!
- 5/5
Room was clean and the owners were very pleasant. Nice little patio to relax on. Breakfast was amazing!
- 4/5
Wonderful place to unwind. Every thing you could need and more. Like own home for comfort.
- 4/5
We spent a week at Elden Trails and started to call it home. We hiked the beautiful Coconino National Park trails right behind the back gate. Breakfasts were always hearty and healthy, and included plenty of good coffee, too. We relaxed next to the laying hens in between touring the canyons and craters. The small pond and bird feeder attracts lots of birds and wildlife for viewing right outside the big breakfast window. The bed pillows and bedding are all very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The hosts are friendly, easy-going, and helpful. It is not as glitzy as the Ritz Carlton, but that's not where we feel most comfortable anyway. This place feels like home to us.
- 3/5
Did not realize that I had to pay $40.00 each for my grandchildren which made a very short stay very expensive. Breakfast was wonderful and the owners were very pleasant.
- 1/5
When you do the booking, they charge you a deposit! if you cancel the booking they take more than 2 weeks to refund you and they charge you 25$ for handling fee so when you see FREE CANCELATION its not true!
- 5/5
Fantastic experience. Wasn't sure about the neighborhood, but all that was forgotten when we entered the room. Our hostess was fabulous! SHE made our stay wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
we were surprised to find this room is in the backyard of a mobile home in a mobile home park; while it is eclectic and very clean and the breakfast was to die for, and steve and marnie are very nice folks who we don't want to hurt in any way, it is a pretty big omission in the description.

Here's my major qualm... This suite is quaint and thoughtful and nestled up against the mountain with some nice trails, but I was mistaken by thinking this was a little cabin out in the privacy of nature. This is a home within a crowded residential "mobile/trailer" home neighborhood, and isn't a cabin in the woods by any stretch. Number two. This place only accommodates 2 people. Period. There is a small pull-out couch that I wouldn't wish my worst enemy a nights sleep on. So, sadly half of our crew was grumpy and exhausted from lack of sleep for the day... Not so much fun. Anyhoo, I hope this is helpful for anyone else who stumbles across this little place. Neat place for no more than two!!
- 5/5
The house we had all to ourselves was perfect. Steve and Marnie are wonderful hosts, and Marnie makes a seed cake that is out of this world. And that is just the beginning of a breakfast spread. Great location, complete privacy, and walking trails right out the back gate. Plan an extra day just for here!

very nice hosts, crowded neighborhood, quiet, tiny bathroom
- 5/5
Wow! Not only are the hosts very kind and welcoming, they have arranged their property with so much taste and attention to detail, it was a true pleasure to stay here. We got a little chalet for the three of us that was very cozy. We all felt we never wanted to leave the place. And the breakfast, THE BREAKFAST! I'm telling you, it is something very special in the full sense of the word. Forget about wrapped microwavables and processed foods, and instead enjoy wholesome foods made from scratch. Even the yogurt was homemade! The delicious food would've been more than enough to make it an unforgettable breakfast. But to top it off, we had it outside our little chalet in the garden and next to the chicken coop. The whole experience was magical. If you're somebody who appreciates attention to detail, good taste, and considers food an end in itself and not just a means to fill up one's belly, then you'll like this place.
- 5/5
This B&B is a must if you are a hiker or trail runner! There are two trail heads right out the back gate of your private small home. I fell ill while I was staying at this B&B and Steve and Marine made me a delicious chicken broth which made me feel better! They are very caring hosts and will do their best to provide a great B&B experience. This place beats a hotel anytime!
- 4/5
Location was not quite what we expected but the room was very adequate, the hosts were lovely, and the health conscious breakfast was outstanding.
- 4/5
I thought the room would be bigger, given it was two rooms. There were 4 of us and fortunately two were our grand-kids, 6 and 7. It was a tight fit overall. The breakfasts were incredibly good and healthy.
