Breakfast on Monday to Friday is at 6:30 by then a working person would be late for work any ways on Sunday who wants to eat eggs and fried hot dogs. That was only time I had breakfast. Cleaning personal were beyond hope 10 day stay cleaned my room 1 time. Had to beg them to clean it for 3 day before they did something.

Breakfast was adequate but slightly limited - only scrambled eggs, sausage and grits in the hot fresh category. Waffle maker dispenser was a little scanty. Other items were a nice wide variety. Hours were different than posted.

The only good thing about the hotel was Ms. Janice that checked me in. The room had dog hair everywhere. The bathroom was dirty and the shower head was hanging off and held on my a hair tie. I don't like to complain so I brought cleaners and cleaned the room myself. The absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed in. People were running around the floor as well.

Nothing, Stayed 10 day, cleaned my room 1 time, and that was after begging them for 3 day straight. And breakfast sucked who wants eggs and fried hot dogs for breakfast, never had enough coffee. This is a pricey motel but run like a 3 rate motel. Staying 1 night would even be questionable.

We really enjoy Comfort Inn Suites. They are priced right. clean and have a very good breakfast. This one was smaller than some and felt more intimate.

On an overnight stay. Room was very clean and quiet with fresh towels, comfortable bed and good climate control. Microwave, coffee machine, small frig and iron/board provided. Parking was free and staff was courteous at both check-in and check-out. Did not partake of breakfast but it all looked good. Highly recommended.

When you book through the Expedia app to stay at the Comfort Inn in Florence when they are offering special deal, you don’t get that deal. I paid $144 to Expedia and the Comfort Inn in Florence South Carolina got $103 of that. that is a lot of money to pay for booking through the Expedia app.

Proximity to the highway! Altough we fully paid with Booking.com the hotel staff charged the full amount by mistake. I would have expected for them to tell us about the mistake ant that they refunded the money while we were at the location. We saw the charge 2-3 days after we left and had to call the hotel to figure out what happened.

The room itself was super clean and the bed and pillows were great. Very quiet also. Enjoyed the 24hr. Coffee. The breakfast eggs were watery. The desk people could have been nicer.

The phone didn’t work. When I told staff my daughter had seizures they didn’t care. I couldn’t sleep knowing that I had to be on alert if I had to call for help.

My grievance is with the breakfast. I felt sorry for the breakfast staff as they were frustrated with the tools they were given but tried very hard to help several customers. One of the two toasters was broken. The other was a two-slice toaster which was not meant to be used as often as is needed at a hotel and did not work well with bagels. The plexiglass "drawer" that housed the bread, bagels, and muffins was also broken, and broken shut. The attending staff was forced to apply full strength to unjam the drawer. She deserves better tools to work with. The food was sufficient and the coffee was very good. Ownership needs to suck-it-up and provide first rate tools if you want first rate reviews.

My first room -the water wasn’t turning on so had to ask for a different room that was located next to the air conditioning unit for the entire hotel. The night felt loud and I couldn’t sleep. all of the front desk staff were nice and not very helpful. Thank goodness for the cleaning staff who were very personable. The complimentary breakfast has seen better days. If you didn't get to eat by 7:30, you missed and nothing was replenished. The first night we did not want to be disturbed; but the 2nd day we removed our door sign and no one came to clean. As we understood, they were a new crew.. if it isn't broke, please don't fix it because our previous stays were excellent. We were disappointed this time around. Not sure if this will be our hotel of choice next time.

The staff at the front desk in the evening on Sat and Sun morning (same staff member as she was on a turn & burn schedule) - she was excellent. Efficient as she was running the desk with multiple guests and the phone at the same time. She was magic, delivering good service to all even me, as I was the last to check in. The room was great and sparkling clean - the facility looked great and felt very safe.

Hadn’t stayed at a Comfort Inn & Suites before. Ran across this well rated location on a busy Easter Saturday when many locations were fully booked or only had king rooms remaining (we need 2 queens). Very pleased with this location! Everything from the bathroom to the carpet, foyer to hallways was very clean. Beds were comfortable and AC worked well and was quiet. Speaking of quiet, even though there were nearby guests we’d see in the halls plus many cars outside, did not hear a thing in the room, including that we don’t hear footsteps above us either. Would definitely recommend for a quick and comfortable stay.

We stopped here to stay for the night since it was halfway to our destination. It was very clean overall and a nice place to stay. Our only issue was that we were charged 3 times for one room and it took a week for us to get our money back.

Pool wasn’t “ready” in 85 degree weather, staff very unknowledgeable, charge extra fees — $20 for a late check out: 1 hour, 11am-12pm — unheard of. Not a normal, updated Comfort Inn, 0/10 recommend.

I booked three nights and checked out of the second day. When I checked in late at night the young lady at the front desk was not friendly at all not or welcoming. She made me feel like a was bothering her. When I checked out a day earlier the lady told me I would still be charged for three days with was absolutely crazy while she was checking me all a young lady comes out the back yelling at the other associate because she disappeared I felt so bad for the lady it was so disrespectful and unprofessional I will never return!!! Do not stay here!!! On top of that the room smelled horrible!!!

The Managers are Horrible!! They were nasty, knowingly liars, who tried to FORCE us to electronically sign a very large document. They REFUSED to give us a hard copy to read, and cancelled our stay ,(with the reservation & NO Refund), because we refused to electronically sign. They threatened us with the police if we didn’t leave in 10 minutes. We have stayed there no less than 10 times in the past. Brenda, in the breakfast area is one of the hardest working & kindest people ever. But the management (including corporate who never answered a VM), were the WORST! Even Expedia had a poor service response when trying to get my refund!

The room was clean and check in was quick. We booked the room for 4 adults but the bathroom was only stocked with 2 sets of towels and washcloths. This was remedied within 5 minutes of notifying the front desk. Breakfast was good just your typical items to choose from. All in all we were pleased with our stay and would stay here again if needed.

First, it is much more run down than we remembered. Half of the toaster didn’t work downstairs the first time we stayed here and they didn’t have any syrup for waffles but the bed was comfortable enough because we were exhausted from moving our father to a nursing home. The lady serving the continental breakfast was precious though. Front desk attendant was not friendly or cordial but assigned our room and we went up. We did book a “suite” but walked in and it was just dingy. Ripped carpet, a bed that looked like it could’ve been not totally remade and doors to an adjoining room-full of extremely loud obnoxious people cursing and talking about smoke where they were going to smoke (and I don’t think cigarettes). We turned around and walked right back out of that room, asked to check out and requested a refund. The girl at the front desk barely said anything. I told her I had contacted Expedia to voice a complaint and request a refund. She AND Expedia said I would need to follow up. We made a recording of the noise next door. If I do not receive a refund I will no longer be booking travel through Expedia. I expected you guys to say, absolutely no problem, we will make sure the hotel either does not process your card or, we will ensure they issue you a refund. Exhausted, emotional, and our father passed the next morning.

We had left hotel due to family issue, said we may not be back… someone entered our room and messed it up. Emptied our ice bucket, squirted shower gel in tub, threw towels on the floor. We had to be moved to another room, thank goodness front desk associate was understanding. Manager never contacted us or addressed the issue.

However, we arrived at 1am (we called ahead to confirm this would be fine) after a full day of travel and ahead of another. We got a 12pm late checkout so we could catch enough rest and put the do not disturb sign on the door and opted to skip breakfast, only for them to start pounding on the door and attempting to enter the room at 9:30am, and then call on the phone and say that the system had no record of us in the room! After all that we couldn't fall back asleep and are now driving sleep deprived. Complaints fell on deaf ears and we were just given excuses and no apologies. You work in hospitality! This was not hospitable.

No hand soap, no shower soap, the shower head was broken so my husband had to take a bath but then the water wouldn’t drain, went down for breakfast at 7:30am and they didn’t get refill the food so we left.

We typically stay at this hotel and have only had good experiences in the past. However, this time we were put in a room that clearly had not been properly cleaned, a flashing light on the wall kept us awake at night despite a plastic bag someone else had taped over it,, a lack of lightbulbs in the fixtures, no hand soap in the bathroom, etc. we were later told that the room is not normally used and it was an error to put us in it. However, no compensation was offered despite my reporting the deficiencies. Poor customer service in the extreme. Will need to consider other hotels in the area in the future.

The room needed to be updated things were wore out and it could have been cleaner, water on the carpet, the wash towels had a big black x on them no idea why that was? The TV didn’t have a plug so it didn’t work, the maintenance man got a cord and fixed it, will not staying there again to many new hotels in the same vicinity……

It's a modern hotel, appearing newly opened and located in the back corner of the "hospitality zone" at the intersection of I-95 and I-20. there was ample parking in a well-lighted lot. We were enthusiastically greeted by Lamont and our check-in took less than 5 minutes with a pre-paid Hotels.com reservation. We got a handicapped accessible king suite although we neither requested nor needed a handicapped accessible room. The room was quite large with a seating area separated from the sleeping area by a partial wall. The sofa was comfortable and could have converted into a bed. The king sized bed was comfortable but the pillows were mediocre and small. KING SIZE BEDS SHOULD HAVE KING SIZE PILLOWS!!! When are hotels going to realize this? There was only one light switch in the room, near the door, and that operated the ceiling lights in the seating area. All of the lamps in the room had to be turned on at the lamp itself. The handicapped accessible bathroom was huge and could have easily accommodated a motorized wheelchair if it needed to. There were sturdy handrails around the commode and six handrails in the tub. The tub faucets were easy to use and we had plenty of hot water. The bathroom should have been equipped with a night light. There was one light switch which operated both ceiling lights in the room, therefore, if you needed to use the commode at night, you were going to awaken someone and lose any night vision. We stared hearing a banging ever 5 minutes after 830 am

Toilet seat was loose. Sink was stopped up. Breakfast is getting real skimpy. Grits were not fully cooked. No juices or milk available. When I paid less for this same room it seemed the service and food was better.

Staff was friendly when we checked in. Made reservations as we drove in on the interstate last minute. Room was clean. Facility was nice and quiet. Only ding was sticky floor in coffee area and breakfast area. That happens fast. Breakfast was very good for a freebie. We will stay here again.

Extremely comfortable beds! That alone made the highway overnight stay one of the best. Wonderful staff and I will stop again while traveling I-95.

Parking area was fine. The shower did not have shampoo, just body wash and 2 conditioners. The was also conditioner in the dispenser next to the bathroom sink as well.

We have stayed at this facility several times on our way to family. It could use some upgrading but overall it is a good place to stay. Little things like ac thermostat wiggled on the wall and jumped numbers when trying to adjust. TV remote had no back, just taped and batteries kept falling out. But...beds are super comfortable and it has the hottest water we have ever had !

From the welcome greeting to our departure, staff were wonderful! They were happy, friendly, and professional. The hotel is clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly. The building and carpets are older. Water pressure for showers was not great. Typical free hotel breakfast was okay--eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, fruit, toast, bagels and other pastries.

My daughter went to shower in the first room the water was backing up. Upon getting out the shower she fell due to the water backing up. The lady at the front desk was kind and change our room. The second room had stain sheets.

The lady at the check in counter was very nice and friendly. No problem with her or the check in process at all. It did seem that the front desk was under staffed because she was handling so many things at one time. With regard to the room, there were no towels and the bathroom appeared dirty. There was no one to deliver towels, so I had to go to the nice front desk lady to retrieve them. There was a dirty wash cloth left hanging on the shower curtain rod, which makes me question if the bathroom was even cleaned. There were stains on the wall of the room. The refrigerator was not plugged in so I had to pull it away from the wall and plug it in. The room was wall to wall carpet which is not ideal in a hotel with pets. Finally, the remote control to the TV had no back to the battery compartment; the batteries were scotch taped in place. This is a serious concern for families with toddlers because they can have easy access to putting a battery in their mouth. Its not easy traveling with pets because you have to find hotels that will accommodate you, but this place had too many issues.

The property was not worth the cost. It was kinda cheesy and very very noisy. Walls are very thin. Staff was wonderful and it was clean and beds were comfortable. I got a suite and it was just a normal room with a wall in it and the couch was so cheap it ate u when u sat in it. The carpet was torn. The firniture was torn. It was just kind of creepy

One of the nicer hotels I’ve stayed in during my travels. Hotel is clean and quiet and I felt very safe as I was traveling by myself. Check-in was quick and staff is very friendly. I was traveling with my dog this time and there was ample grassy space as well as a sidewalk to walk her outside with dog-waste stations available. They even gave her a little dog treat welcome bag (although it was given to her on check-out instead of check-in). I will definitely be staying here again!

I often stay in Florence when traveling for work. I have stayed in several different hotels, but this one is my favorite. Great value! As a female, I felt safe traveling and staying here.

The room was not cleaned , there was a smelly stinky to go container left in there , let the front desk know and all she said was sorry 😞, there was no soap or body wash in the bathroom , thank god I travel with my own …. The Elevators were not clearly marked … The morning front desk person was on his private phone while he made a customer wait on the phone to gen lied to her … I will never stay there again at breakfast I had to point out that there was mold on the bread ! The sausage was gray and then she brought out some kind of red sausage / hot dog looking

This was our second visit to this hotel for an overnight. Still very clean surroundings outside and inside. Friendly staff greeted us even when we checked in later in the evening. Very nice setup for water station. The breakfast area was very nicely setup for breakfast. The food selection was great for complimentary offer. It was a very nice stay and comfortable. We'd stay again.

We stayed at this place on our roadtrip from Massachusetts to Florida . It was a good rest stop, very good breakfast and very clean.

We so enjoyed that this property is off the beaten path away from all the traffic! Everything was very clean, the hotel staff was very friendly. Our room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was very nice and the coffee was excellent!

This was a stay w the usta tennis association discount . I was charged 327 .00 for one nights stay . I had to check out the second night and they would not provide any type of help in reducing the cost of 1 night . The USTA should never use this hotel again

Room was nice and clean. But the shower only had a shampoo dispenser, the soap dispenser was broken and there was no soap. The exhaust fan in the shower was broken or very weak, so there was no extraction of air or steam. The breakfast was just ok: coffee was warm not hot, eggs tasted fabricated.

Very nice newer property close to dining and shopping. There is a lake and planned neighborhood next to the hotel and the lake is walkable and a nice outdoor activity. Tons of waterfowl and turtles galore. Pool was nice, gym was great. The beds were on the firmer side and very comfortable. Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful.
