Room didn't have sheets and blanket for sofa bed, had to get them from front desk.

Grass wasn't cut, toilet didn't work, ice bucket dirty.

Great place, very clean. I will visit again.

Upon arrival we were not properly greeted and were told to wait a minute. This wait took approximately 3 months minutes before getting checked in. The attendant was very dry not did not make an attempt to even provide a polite smile. I believe she was very rude. She assigned us a room with a dirty toilet which didn’t even flush. The alternate room provide was adequate. Will not return.

Ceiling in room had visible water damage and peeling. Bedding for pull out balled up in closet and dirty. Convenient for a quick stay off highway, near many eateries. Decent breakfast buffet.

The room was very clean, the Staff was very kind and quite efficient. The housekeeper saw me leaving the next morning and asked me about my stay.Thsy was very kind.

My toilet was broke was with my children on vacation. Also we couldn’t get no towels are wash rags till housekeeping arrived to work. That was at 10. My check in was at 11. So I could not shower.

The breakfast to me was better than most and the rooms were adequate. The elevator went down and our family including my mother with two bad knees had to climb four floors of stairs two days and bring our heavy luggage down as well. the elevator being down was a major problem for my family including my 6 month pregnant daughter and two small children.

The location was within minutes from interstate. There was not cart to haul luggage from car to the room. There was noticeable dust on the furniture. The carpet had not been vacuumed and a noisy family came into room next to us at 1 am.

Was fine for the price. Staff was very helpful except for the 7am phone call asking if I had one of the luggage carts. Which I hadn’t even used.

We did not stay for breakfast, The room was clean, spacious, beds were very comfortable, shower and bathroom were good. This was a one night stay during a roadtrip. We were very happy with this hotel.

The breakfast and breakfast staff were nice. Hot food strong coffee and polite staff. There were no Kleenex in our room. Not a fan of having to use toilet tissue to or my nose.

The room was a great size. Shower was very nice. The hotel floor we were on was a non -smoking floor. But the hall smelled very very strong of weed. And our room did as well in the middle of the night. That was horrible.

Pet friendly

Easy to navigate from the highway, clean, breakfast was fresh. There was a homeless man who was in the business center in the morning and I was not able to use it when I needed to.

Front desk clerk was great. Ashley the breakfst attendent was great. The beds were comfy Booking.com needs to make sure that you make it CLEAR that this was in Darlington and NOT Florance, I thught I was booking Florence. If I had not pre paid my stay I would have walked out when I walked in the front door. The floor ws dirty then we got into the elevator and it was fithly. The shower stall was not clean. The breakfast what they had was good. But no coffee creamer, muffins. THE POOL WAS CLOSED THAT WAS ONE OF THE REASON I BOOKED WAS FOR AN IN DOOR POOL.

There was lots of options for breakfast but they kept running out of stuff

We were given a wheelchair accessible room although we hadn't reserved one. The AC wasn't working until we discovered it wasn't even plugged in. One bed had a sheet with a hole. The toilet was running when we got to the room and required a handle-jiggle to refill and shut off. There were no handtowels or bath mat. The bathtub stopper was loose and sitting on the sink counter. The in-room coffee maker was in a tray on the bathroom sink counter with water under the tray that had stained the counter. The breakfast was among the worst I ever had. The coffee was lukewarm and there wasn't any half-and-half or creamer other than Hazelnut Coffeemate. The staff clearly doesn't care. Check-in took too long while the desk clerk left the front desk to get extra towels for another guest. She obviously didn't care when I called down about the AC before we discovered it was unplugged.

The rooms were not at all properly cleaned on the 3rd floor the staff was generous and moved me twice and I ended up staying on the 2nd floor which was clean to the scent

Great stop on a long drive, just off I95 so very convenient. Plenty of well lit parking which was great because we arrived quite late. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant and quick to get us checked in (we were exhausted). Very clean, other guests were hanging out in the lobby and it was a very nice atmosphere. Definitely felt safe.

Not enough food we came down at 8:30 most of the breakfast items were gone. It was a long line for one waffle machine ended up passing on that and no hot water for tea. Our air conditioner in the room was broken, the staff offered to change our room. we were already undressed and getting into bed. we had a long day travel from Florida. The managing staff was very kind about adding 15, 000 points to my choice rewards for the inconveniences of a room with no ventilation or air.

I was a little disappointed with my stay, bed was comfortable but bed frame was broken. Waited until 6:30 to have breakfast and no coffee. The receptionist was very rude.

Our room smelled, I had to go ask for any type of deodorizer but that didn’t even help. The room was no vacuumed, crumbs were all the floor all near the bed. There was blue tape all over the smoke alarm. Also, the curtains were shear white. The room was so lit up at night we never needed any lights, the photo attached is from 10pm. The parking lot lights shined directly into the room.

The couple people I ran ino that cleaned the rooms and all were the nicest kindest and friendliest people I’ve met, super cool and friendly with my kids which was awesome, the ONLY issue I had was the pool area was disgusting and the front desk lady who was there when we checked in was not only rude and snippy for some reason but then out loud embarrassed me in front of other customers. I’ve been in customer service for almost 20 years in my career and I was embarrassed for her, I go out of my way for people and can get along with anyone, she wasn’t it.

Room was not cleaned, front desk was not available on check in. Tissue boxes we both empty, urine left in the toilet. Morning breakfast had no cream for the coffee. Would not recommend this location of Comfort Inn, in Florence, SC.

Beds were very comfortable but found dirty sheets on one of the beds and urine around the bottom of toilet. The shower plug was broke. But rest of room was clean and very happy with the size.

We had a good stay! We stayed one night while traveling home. The location is good….easy to get to off the highway, surrounded by multiple places to eat and get gas, plenty of other hotels in the same area. Our room was very clean and spacious. My only complaints: front desk staff was rude/standoffish each time we talked to her and breakfast started at 6:30 but when we checked out and tried to grab coffee at 6:50, there was no coffee left already. Not deal breakers, just disappointed.

Place smelled of it. Room was satisfactory. The hotel, including rooms, looked like it was all the original, carpets etc. Frozen bag of ice in little refrigerator so we couldn't use the freezer. Couches in dining area at breakfast were old and stuffing coming out of the various worn rips in them

I did not use their internet service . The room doesnt have a microwave . The toilet did not replace a new toilet paper . The receptionist is serious. Barely smile. The cafeteia lady is friendly but when i took a slice of bread, i saw tiny fly inside the container. I let her know. She apologized.

When we arrived, there was a toilet plunger in the tub and it had crap all over it. The shower curtain was gone, the soap was open and done used, and all the shampoo and soap was out… after notifying staff they said there is nothing they could do because it was booked through Expedia… We also paid almost 300$ for that night…

Clean room , spacious

First the negative. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn’t work so was like a sauna when showering. The tub needed a good scrubbing. The positives now. The beds were very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Though I didn’t use it there was a nice indoor pool. Breakfast in the morning was quick, easy and good.

Pool doesn’t work. It hasn’t work for weeks as I stayed here 2 weeks in a row. Nice front desk people . Some sketchy things happening around the premise. Rooms was missing things like shampoo dispenser, lotion and tv remote. Carpets were really dirty in room.

Very spacious with an actual closet, drawers for your clothes, very comfortable beds, a couch, a desk, a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. We were very impressed by the overall appeal and conditions of the property when we checked in and saw our room but it went downhill fast when the room above us had small kids running wild for many hours in the evening and bedtime, it sounded like they were going to come through our ceiling. We could not sleep and we called the front desk at least 5 times and was told they would call that room or hi up there but it never stoped until very late. Very disturbing.

There was dog food on the floor soon as we walked in the front door, the room was barely vacuum if it all and they were dirty towels in the bathroom. The toilet bowl had "brown" splatter on the inside. There were no bed sets for the fold-out couch and the front desk mentioned they do not have any fitted sheets for them. We didn't stick around for the buffet breakfast based on a complete lack of trust in cleanliness based on experience with the room.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this stay. This was a last-minute booking, as I was traveling and got tired while driving. I passed on a couple of different hotels that were just a bit cheaper, even though one was a Hilton brand hotel, as I thought this would be a better option for room size as I had my disabled mother and grandchild with me and the rooms have a couch. The first room I was assigned was dirty. It had obviously not been cleaned, with dirty towels on the floor and food left on the counters - among other things. The check-in employee was helpful and courteous. He apologized and immediately changed my room assignment. The second room was at least clean, but there were still issues. The shower curtain had a few stains, one of the bedside outlets didn't work, the soap holder in the shower was broken, and the carpets felt sticky. Everything else went well. The breakfast was acceptable; the daytime staff were polite and helpful.

Checked in late around 830p. First thing i did was take a shower where i stayed to smell mildew. I searched the walls, turned to the back wall and realized there was an old washcloth was. Walked out of the bathroom towards the couch and realized there was popcorn crumbs all over the floor. So i decided to check the bedsheets thinking the room hasn't been cleaned. They appeared to be clean, so we went to sleep. Woke up and my husband went to wash his face but we realized there wasn't another washcloth because the other one was already used by the prior person I'm assuming. The one having in the shower. I've stayed here probably 6 or 7 times and I've never experienced this before, but I'm questioning will we return again. Very disappointing.

Front Desk staff was phenomenal. It was an extremely busy weekend for the hotel. However the staff was accommodating and professional. Hotel is always clean and well maintained.

2 queen beds which smelled terribly of hair tonic. Disgusting. Next morning Went to breakfast with the dog Ipaid a hefty fee for, and was told she was not allowed by the food. She does not shed and is 13lbs. I asked how then could I eat to which i was told, "I dont know". I instead had to go to McDonald's and "pay" again for food. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Good stuff

Our room had a roach in it overall very unclean. The room was even missing a lamp. Staffing, didn’t seem concerned and were very lackadaisical. We could not get into the back entrance, which was closest to our room and the staff did not seem concerned or that it was a very important issue.

We had just got to our room my daughter had to pee and the toliet wouldn’t flush. Then the maintenance guy came and said we had to switch rooms it was loud until 11pm from people outside on the patio swearing too.we also had some guy and a lady that worked there try to come into our room around 930pm apparently no one remembered to switch our room in the computer atleast we had the door stopper up and they couldn’t get in and they woke up my oldest who was already asleep and scared her! Breakfast was good the ladies who were working it were excellent!

Large comfortable room, hot breakfast and restaurants close by. Indoor pool, gym and nice outside area. Ice machines on each floor, and a computer room. I will stay there again .

The people at the desk were very friendly and the room was clean. The only thing we noticed was that the refrigerator still had stuff in it from someone’s previous stay in the room and the microwave could use a little more cleaning.

There were a pair of jeans left in my daughter’s room from the previous traveler. Also, the hot breakfast time ended too early (9:30 am) when compared to other hotels & their breakfast ending time (11am). Also, our room carpet was still dirty…..there were crumbs left on the carpets.

We had been traveling all day and just needed a place to sleep. The bed was pretty comfy for a hotel bed. However, please get some darker curtains. I know bright lights are needed outside but then you have sheer curtains thay let all the bright light from outside in. I couldn’t sleep because I had bright lights in my face. But other than that it , it was just fine.

This is a newer property so it was very clean and quiet. The bed was a little too hard and the pillows were too small and they just flatten out during the night. That was the only problem. The rest was clean and the breakfast was very good.

We have stayed at this hotel twice. Hotel was clean and location convenient. My only complaint is that hotel sits next to RR tracks. When traveling from Florida to Maryland or back.....Florence is a halfway point and we are only looking to sleep and to get much needed rest. Train came thru both time we stayed there around 1am sounding the horn. It was very loud and for this reason I will find a different hotel to stay at in the future.

Carpet in room dingy and smells like stink feet

Parking was good as well. Seems many hotels don’t have enough spaces and this was the weekend of the Darlington race so it was pretty busy. Never had an issue other than traffic backing up for the Cookout restaurant next door post-race.

The staff at this location was very friendly and helpful. The 3 layers of curtains in the room were great since we had to get to bed before dark. However, the eco friendly showers made it difficult to get a quick shower especially with long hair. The beds were uncomfortable compared to other Comfort hotels we’ve stayed in. The pillows were exceptionally AWFUL. We didn’t partake of the free breakfast, but it looked like people were enjoying it. Overall, this hotel needs a few upgrades!

Amazing stay very friendly

This place was ok. The lobby was nice and bright. Some sketchy characters on the outside of the property. Not sure if they were guests, or just some random people. Check in went smoothly. Room was ok. There were some blood stains on the curtains, and on the actual mattress cover, was some more stains. The sheets that covered it were clean, so I wasn’t going to have housekeeping come and change mattress covers for an overnight stay. It’s good for a half way point and somewhere to crash, but likely will stay somewhere else on my next trip. The “free” breakfast was terrible, but I wasn’t expecting a gourmet meal.

Front desk is very slow. Large contractor group was coming in for the week and there was only one person (who is extremely slow) and their rooms were not ready even though this was the third week here. We had no signal on the TV and was told by the front desk clerk (approx 7:30pm) that she had no knowledge of TV connections and there was no one else here. We did get it working after disconnecting and reconnecting all cables.

Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was great.

There were mushrooms growing out of the rug in the room. The manager laughed when i told her. I said go see for urself. Full grown plants !! Mushrooms are mold. Very toxic.

I picked this spot as an overnight stay for ly road trip, and it was not what i expected, based off the great reviews. Either my expectations of clean are high or the expectations of the reviews are low. Not sure but its was not clean nor comfortable.

These rooms are amazing

Wasn’t impressed. Dirty sheets. Carpets didn’t look vacuumed in room, halls or elevators. AC didn’t work anywhere but the main floor. Ice machines didn’t work anywhere but the main floor. Mini fridge was a joke, didn’t even have a freezer section. No additional sheets and blankets for pull out sofa, had to go to customer service. Was given slimes with stains on them. Breakfast was cheapest continental I’ve ever seen. No Greek yogurt or individual milks. No healthy options.

Needs a major update. Our room was run down n filthy. The bathroom had hair in tub, mildew, worn out/stained tub.

Barking dog near the room late hours. Greeted by the dog at my door the next morning, loose in the hall at 6am. Friendly dog but I was not expecting to have to decide whether it was ok or not to have a dog sniffing my crotch at that hour. Owner apologized, but should not allow pets if they aren't going to be responsible or put pet owners on a separate floor.

Mirror hands handprints all over it. Shower bottom is cracked in a large semicircle crack. AC unit flaps are broken off. One of the mattress springs is dead and you slide off the bed on that side. The pullout couch mattress was stained. Train tracks are VISIBLE to the hotel and the train honks when it goes by. Even in the middle of the night. Handicap accessible room but not well maintained.

Very good hotel looking like reasonably recently built. In construction they overlooked the importance of soundproofing rooms.

The location is good, however, there was no one at the front desk for several minutes after we entered and we started talking to each other they came out. The bathtub in our room appeared to be completely cracked thru but it was actually just the slip resistant coating that was very ugly looking and appeared to be dirty. Very unappealing for showering and definitely not for bathing.

I went to eat breakfast at 9 am. Everything was done. No bacon no egg. With 30 minutes left. Room ceiling had water damage. Bathroom had paint coming off. Horrible experience. Wont be staying here again.

I like the convenience to the Interstate. We went to put our water in the fridge and the previous guests leftovers were still in the fridge. Ugh! The reception clerk was not forthcoming with the information about the wi- fi or breakfast hours. I had to ask about them. And the price! Double what the other, just as convenient hotels, were half the price! They could have at least given bottled water at reception like The Hampton Inn and Tru hotels do. It was an experiment to stay here but for the money the other hotels are just as good. A fail!

Was told when I got there my room wasn’t available so had to go to another hotel down road that they had affiliation with and stay there. This one was under refurbishment and no where to park and rooms were worn. Not to happy about situation. Feel like I got down graded and not compensated for it .

The room.was not clean at all. Bottles under bed. Bottle caps laying around. Dusty. Dirty tub with old soap dripping and soap scum on shower wall. The small conditioner and shampoo / lotion bottles were left half full. Yellow stains on pillow cases.

My husband is allergic to animals I didn’t know that you allowed animals in your motel he had to take extra medicine we already had this booked in advance there was dog hair on the furniture and bed not happy about this

This spot has some easy dining options right next to the hotel and the free breakfast is pretty good. I would stay here again if chance arises.

The elevator is on the other side of the wall and all night when someone used the elevator woke us up. The AC turning on and off woke us up as well.

The hotel was clean with a comfortable room. Couldn’t swim after waiting over an hour for someone to unlock the door to the pool. Breakfast was great with variety.

Front desk worker was amazing and very nice. Outside of hotel looked ok. Our room was awful. We walked in, saw a bunch of disgusting things, and walked back out. Front desk was very helpful helping us cancel. We continued driving and stayed about 30 mins down the road instead.

We liked thr indoor pool that was our biggest draw. We had a good experience a few summers ago and returned. This time one dining room staff was rude and wanted to put breakfast away with guests fixing their plates. I have never been at a hotel that a staff member acted like that. Most go beyond and wait and ask if people are through.

Room was very nice. Hairdryer was broken but, promptly replaced by the staff. Breakfast food was not very good although the service was great. Would consider staying here again.

We're enjoying the facility

Place was nice for the most part. Our room was not cleaned properly which makes me wonder. Couch was dusty, air conditioner literally blew out black dust stuff, you can tell the furniture don’t get wiped down, tv remote missing, and no bag for ice bucket. Kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast.
