    The front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful. The staff that served the breakfast made our stay very nice. The large patio area where there are chairs, tables, umbrellas, and ashtrays was extremely nice. The room cleaning staff was unpleasant. None of them smiled or even spoke to us as we walked through the hotel. They had their cleaning stuff spread throughout the hall and made no attempt to clear a path as we were trying to enter our. I had to physically move their stuff to wheel my cart to the room. It was almost as if we on their nerves.

    Excellent hotel to stay while traveling or on business trip. Convenient to I-95 North or Suoth. Great breakfast with a variety of options. Other surrounding restaurants, take-out, gas stations within seconds to minutes in this area. Rooms were very clean. Front desk service was fast. Staff was friendly and well trained in their specific areas. Thanks, I will stay here again when passing through.

    The studio suite we had was very large with a king bed, large worktable in the center and a sofa on the other side, plus a separate kitchen area with microwave and small fridge. Shower and toilet were in a separate room from the bathroom sink which was convenient. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the included breakfast which had several different options. Better than most continental breakfasts.

    Veronica was at the front desk when we checked in. She is exactly the type of person you want to greet customers! She was genuine, had a great smile, and was warm and caring. Another employee was Lacy (I think that was her name). She was an older woman who was working the breakfast. She was so helpful, and always smiling. We might not stay at this hotel again since this was off our beaten path, but since we take a lot of road trips and I definitely book according to reviews. Major points for me having a courteous staff who value customers, cleanliness, quiet rooms, and comfy beds. This hotel mastered all of these points.

    Was charged a 75 dollar fee for my service 8 lb Maltese which I was never charged before at this location gave my c/c info and was accepted then when I tried to check out the girl told me that she was having trouble with the payment and so I told her to bill me and I would take care of it then while I was driving home I get a call and she had to have another c/c right now and would not take no had to pull over and give her the info I am not very happy about this situation and probably will not be staying here again I have stayed at this location at least twice a year for the past eight years and never had a problem before

    When I arrived in your hotel, my room was ready for me. I went up to my room and my door was not closed. I noticed that the door was off the track and would not close unless you slam the door. I mentioned it to the people working there and they said they would mention it to the front desk. I mentioned it to the front desk last night when I was down there and they told me to mention it to the people this morning when I was checking out. Also, I had no hot water in my shower. And their solution for that was just let the water run. it’ll eventually get warm. I let it run for 15 minutes and it did not get. Very upsetting after a long travel. We’ll have to make sure I cross this one off of my list.

    We had 2 rooms this time and one was more updated than another. However, the bathroom did not flush. When complained, the handymen was sent while we were out to dinner just for us to find out in the middle of the night that toilet is not flushing again. This is our go to hotel, but we will be looking in other options in the area as staff treated it as if everything is ok because we could run to another room at night... no apologies, no credits, nothing... just ok, we will try to fix it for next travelers... i am sad to see it is going downhill

    The staff was very friendly and the room was spotless. The hotel is located near an interstate off ramp so there are several restaurants ranging from casual dining to fast food. Magnolia mall, the Florence mall and several other stores are located within a 3 to 4 mile drive.

    Our stay was a complete nightmare. The midnight boy at the desk tried to run our card FIVE times before and after midnight trying different amounts (we checked in at 4:30). Scammer! He was also the rudest person and should NOT be in the customer service business. He threatened us numerous times for no reason. We still do not know why we were targeted. Police got involved. We ended up leaving the hotel at midnight to go next door to a Hilton Tru where we were treated with dignity and respect. I am disabled and we are senior citizens. We went to sleep at 8:30 pm and were very quiet. There was no reason whatsoever for the treatment we received. When I questioned the desk boy about what the problem was, he said he didn’t like us and didn’t want “our kind of people in his hotel”. Interesting comment considering we’d never met him because we were asleep in our room before he even came on duty. The whole experience was really upsetting. Maybe he uses drugs. His behavior was very bizarre. I believe he was upset because he was unsuccessful in trying to scam us by tapping out our card. As a result, he had security wake us up by banging on our door at midnight and threatened us to get out or go in handcuffs. I’m still in shock over this incident.

    Everything was clean but staff was a little too eager to clean the rooms. I walked out at 8am to take a cooler to the car and was asked if I was coming back to the room. I said yes my wife is still asleep. Checkout was 1200. We left the room at 930.

    This is a great hotel, especially for the money! The room was spacious and nicely updated, very clean and comfortable. We used the laundry facilities and the weight room. The laundry was pretty cheap to do, and the weight room had really good equipment. I wish I had more time to use the indoor pool and jacuzzi!

    Shower water was ice cold and they refused to give us a rate adjustment. Plus they charge $75 for 2 dogs no matter what — even though we did no damage and had no accidents, didn’t even bark — and we all know that there is no extra cleaning needed or performed in our room after check out. And there wasn’t even a place to walk them on the property. We had to use the landscaping under the windows of the first floor rooms (we cleaned up).

    We booked two rooms . While we were checking in , we asked one the front desk associates if she had bottled water for us to take to our room. She and another woman at the front desk were both extremely rude . At first when asked , one of them just looked up , stared at us but no reply and then went back to checking us in. When we asked a second time after the check in was done , one of the ladies gave it reluctantly and the other one had told us that we were not at “the level of membership” to receive bottled water. No professionalism , no hospitality what so ever .

    Checkin was a breeze. Friendly staff and friendly guests as well. The hotel was sold out but you couldn't tell, it was quiet and relaxing. Our room was VERY comfortable. We stay right next to the elevator and at first I was worried but you cannot hear a thing! The beds were soooooo comfortable and I’m VERY picky with beds. I absolutely loved the upgraded style of the bathrooms. Breakfast was super delicious and check out went as smoothly as checkin. If ever in Florence or stopping through SC, I recommend staying here 100% !!

    It’s an OK basic Hôtel. The room was OK, but unfortunately, the mattresses seemed old and too soft for us and we even noticed that the bottom of one of the beds. The material from underneath was falling off. We noticed that the air-conditioning unit needed a cleaning. The lighting was good and the way they set up the bathroom with the towels and everything was quite nice. We tried to explain the difficulty in accessing channels once we got to the channel guide. The person at the front desk consisted. It was just a problem with the batteries, but we don’t think that’s where the issue. Obviously that’s to be determined. When checking in Teresa was very gracious and welcoming, but in trying to explain a few things that we thought needed improvement to the people behind the desk upon leaving, we felt they took offense and weren’t very happy hearing anything that we had to say. We saw lots of people working very hard to keep things clean and neat throughout the hotel. The breakfasts are what you’ve come to expect at Hampton Inns and other hotels like this. I have always wondered where they get their juices from because none of them taste the way they’re supposed to. They supply plenty of choices, but they all seem to be of modest standards. We tried to explain that the hot water and the coffee was not hot and that perhaps it would be best to have some dispensers that were plugged in. They didn’t want to hear anything about it. “ talk to the people setting up the food.”

    The night staff is rude as well as the breakfast staff. Limited amenities and don’t honor the Hilton honors promotions. No coffee after 9 and it was a struggle getting the WiFi.     Overall the stay was comfortable and pleasant. It is close to food places and some other hotels and it’s not too close to the main road. I didn’t like the housekeeper blasting music in front of my door early in the morning. I also didn’t like that I checked in digitally, but had to wait in line for 15 minutes to get checked in after 4:30 pm and the room that I chose still wasn’t ready. The digital key did not work on any door other than the room door.

    Our check in person was very kind and attentive. I wish I would have asked her name. No badges. She’s a 10! The staff around her were not as engaging. The carpeting was dirty .. not vacuumed..elevator dirty… doors to rooms scratched…room clean but smelled of cleaning products… plenty eating options in walking distance.. lots of noise in hallway. All this needs is a little spruce up and friendlier staff. I would look for another place next time.
