The room was clean. The beds are very uncomfortable; the mattress dips towards the middle. It’s dark in the room. Dark walls, dim lighting. The restroom door didn’t close properly. Most hotels have some sort of seating in the room, this one didn’t.

Parking lot well lite. The rooms are always super clean. The staff is very helpful. My parents traveled with me and were having trouble with the TV. The manager came in and took care of the situation quickly. The air conditioner keeps the room as cool or warm as you need it to be. We always stay at this property when we travel in to see our grandchildren.

We stay here from time to time when we come to visit our grandchildren. It’s always been very clean and I feel secure when I stay here.

I was VERY impressed by this location. I don't like to travel far away from home, because of the horror stories of the hotel happenings. But let me just say, upon entering the building, it was very clean. The staff was extremely professional, polite and helpful. My room was very clean. The grounds were kept very nice. Parking was amazing. I am VERY pleased and I will choose this place over and over again. I've already recommended this location to some friends who should be coming to the area next month. Thank you all, for making my stay so pleasant. I appreciate you all. 💜

Not working bathroom hair in bathtub and towels

Just okay, area around the place is run-down. Hotel is showing age, smelled like pot in many areas, elevator smelled like old oil and rubber, very unpleasant. Bathroom in lobby was not clean. Room itself was clean and pleasant, staff was nice. Overall average stay for the money, neighborhood was a little rough. Swimming pool was clean and enjoyable.

Overall property was good,service was good, breakfast was 3 out of 5 stars. carpet and bathroom floor could have been cleaner and better kept. There was no working lighting around pool area or in the pool .

Absolutely DO NOT recommend this property. It was a horrible experience starting when we checked in. The guy working the front desk had my reservation confused with another one. Took forever to check in. I asked for bottom floor a week in advance and they wouldn’t do that. The first room they put us in was hot and the AC wasn’t working. After adjusting the thermostat, we called the front desk and asked for a new room because it wasn’t working. He said he would come up and take a look at. He adjusted JUST LIKE WE DID, and said he would come back in an hour to see if that worked. So for the meantime we had to suffer for that hour. The temp got up to 77 degrees in there during that time. Another guy came up and asked me to go look at a different room. The other room was so much cooler. He then went on to say that the thermostat temps are incorrect. Lie but okay. I said can we have this room please and he said it’s the same as the other room “look feel the air coming out”. It took an act of congress to get him to let us switch to that other room. Then we were having dinner in the lobby and my finance asked if they could turn the tv on in there and they refused. Another night we were all outside and my fiance and the kids were playing with toys and one of the people working the front desk came outside and said they weren’t allowed to play out there. Every single staff member was rude. I will never stay here again.

We will find other options to stay for sure next time we are in the area.

Hotel check in clerk was not very friendly.

There was no indication that there would be a deposit and I had to pay $100 deposit when I got there. The man at the front desk was rude and was suggesting I didn’t have the money. That wasn’t the case I just didn’t understand the reason for the deposit. There was tiny black bugs in the bed and the curtain would not close and if I were to undress everyone would see me.

It was ok. You could hear everything from the next room, we there it was the lady cleaning and playing her music or the family staying and telling most of the night. The room also smelt a little weird but nothing a room spray couldn’t fix. The sheets were torn but it wasn’t a huge deal. Very little lighting in restroom.

Mattress was very uncomfortable. AC struggled to cool the room. Key stopped working after the first night. Very low water pressure. TV had very limited variety of programming. Friendliness of staff was hit-or-miss. I understand where in the market this hotel fits. Despite being the pricier hotel in the area, many of its direct competitors provide vastly superior service in these areas. Best Westerns are apparently independently owned and operated. However, I will not be staying with a Best Western again with more consistent options available.

Food was gross made my family ill, I won't be staying here again and will not tell friends and family to stay here!!!

There was either someone smoking weed next to us or previously in our room as the smell was very strong in the bathroom. We kept the door closed to the restroom so the odor in the room would not be bad and the vent in the bathroom did not work.

Check-in was 3:00pm, we got there at 5:45pm and our room was not ready. We were told there was a new cleaning lady and they were running behind. We finally got our room at 6:30pm. We were offered late check out (12:00pm instead of 11:00am), but that did not work for us since we had somewhere to be early in the morning.

Bar isn’t open because of “COVID”. This is the first Best Western Plus that did not have a convenient store to grab and go. The breakfast was…undesirable! Food was dry and stale. Waffles were good! The room had NO VENTILATION! Not even in bathroom! Handicap accessible room was NOT user friendly! If my friend who is wheel chair bound was alone, she could not get into the bed, turn the switch to lights on and off by the bed, nor get into the closet where it is placed. She also could NOT change the ac temp! Couldn’t use bathroom mirror because of placement, and was not able to get to the sink without help. They need to see ADA compliancy measurements. Staff was nice, especially the gentleman who checked us in!!!

The property was just ok, our room wasn’t the cleanest - small couch had rips in it, coffee table was all scratched up, shower had stains on the walls. Also, the elevator is super slow.

The staff was really nice! A to staff! Breakfast was okay. You get waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, etc. The pool was closed. Its a decent hotel for the price. We switched rooms to see if the bed would be better in a different room but it wasn't. Unfortunately, we left early and booked another hotel after 5 days. The bed was horrible. My back was killing me.

Overall, my stay at this hotel was awesome.

This place was full of bed bugs. I canceled my booking on my first night here and returned my keys and I’m still getting charged for 3 nights even tho I didn’t spend a single night here. The manager is so rude and will not refund you your money back. Worst place ever and I looked back to this hotel history and they already had a bed bug report back in 2016 so that tells you how long they’ve had bed bugs for and not do anything about it.

At first I was impressed they allowed us to have early check in and was really happy, room was pleasant when we arrived. That evening when we went to shower the shower wouldn’t drain and the head was so high that it shot at the back of the shower when you tried to move it water sprayed from top of shower. Our room didn’t lock or close at all so at any moment someone could come into our room. There was a domestic disturbance on our floors so cops were present within us being there for 15 minutes. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and we were weren’t able to adjust the AC in the room. We ended up leaving within the hour and staying elsewhere

The stay was only OK as even though the staff were attentive the hotel was very noisy and run on a shoestring for amenities and comfort.

The hotel itself is fine. Staff were pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. I grabbed coffee & an apple for breakfast. What I couldn’t help but notice was excessive trash in the parking lot, so perhaps a trash can or two would help guests with a proper way to dispose of garbage. The view from my room was a garbage filled ditch running along an empty field. Maybe a beautification team can adopt the exterior space to clean it up?

This is the worse hotel we ever stayed! We noticed the water in toilet looked dark before we flushed it and it was backed up really terrible. Told the front desk about it and she offered us to use another room’s restroom.. We chosen not to! My husband decided to use guest restroom on the 1st floor instead. Breakfast was sucks!. Don’t recommend anyone stay there!

Nothing nice about this hotel, I didn’t stay the night there. I actually checked out after minutes of being there due to run down and uncleanliness rooms.

The shower switch or drain was brocken, the ceiling had cracks all in it, the closet door was broken and it was a smoke free room but smelled like smoke.. was a king bed but had really small square pillows

The room we stayed had bed bugs. We end up sleeping on the floor . It was very late when we arrived so it was no way to go out and look for something else… The young boy at the front desk in the middle of the night had no clue on what to do we just asked for mor blankets so we can go to sleep. We need to get up very early for a competition we had to attend. When we came back to the property after the race I talked to the front desk person and he told me the manager will be there in 10min. After the 10min passed he told me that the manager will take longer about 45min to an hour to get there. But they will inspect the room and will called me back. All this happened before checking out. Well is 930pm and nobody has called… I think will be nice to get my money back. I wanted talk to the manager to show the bug bites. But of course no response. I have used Expedia for long time and this is the very first time something like this happened. Once again I would like to get my money back. Unfortunately, this was a terrible stay. The hotel was in super dirty conditions. The noise from other rooms was intolerable, staff not friendly. This hotel is also in a very sketchy and dangerous area.

Room furnishings worn, but room was clean. A/C unit worked well, but with consistent unusual noise. Both guests bitten (bedbugs or spiders) during the night; when brought to the attention of desk clerk, his response was "thank you, we will check it out." I asked what that meant, and he replied "so there is no problem for the next guest." When I asked "so what about us?", he just shrugged his shoulders. Won't stay there again, and will discontinue using the Best Western in Brenham for business as well.

Room was large and clean. No complaints. Individually wrapped egg sandwich and fruit for breakfast. Easy access to interstate but just regular fast food joints nearby. Good stay.

The AC unit was very noisy. The coffee machine was a disaster, breakfast was barely ok. There are way better options nearly and better prices.

The property was conveniently located, and I have stayed there numerous times. However, on this visit, the property and amenities were not up to the usual expectations. The staff was not very friendly. The breakfast was very sparse...in fact, on the 2nd day, there was hardly anything....only a few muffins, juice machine broken, waffle machine working but no syrup or butter and no breakfast sandwiches. The room was ok, but we found shoes under the bed left but previous guests, so not sure how thoroughly they clean. Pool and fitness center closed. TV remote didn’t work. I will not stay there again.

The guy that checked us in was so nice and friendly. He made us feel welcome. He was so nice durning our while stay. The rooms could have been a little cleaner. But it was nice.

It took over 25 minutes to get checked in. Had only 1 guy working, felt bad for him, but no excuse for the hotel. Ice machine did not work on the 3rd floor. Our room had no sheets or pillows for the sofa coach. Very clean room and roomy!

The following morning, we noticed that another bed in the room also had blood stains. This sheet had been washed but the stains remained and our children had slept on the sheets before we noticed. Again, we were told there was nothing they could do except text the manager to call us. We’re now well down the road and have still not spoken to a manager. I will update this review if I do hear from someone. Overall this was a disgusting room and disappointing employee help. All the front desk did was blame housekeeping and say there was nothing they could do. I believe them, this is a management problem when no employee knows what to do about this. I will not stay at this hotel again and recommend no one else does as well.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone. My extended and immediate family stayed here for my son's high school graduation. We utilized the conference room for the family feast and fellowship. Andreas was awesome. He was professional and considerate to all of my out of state and out of city relatives. They came in at different times however, he was patient with my elderly relatives and made sure we were all on the same floor next to each other.

I always enjoy my time at this particular location. I'm a Regular here. I love the peace.

I did not like the following (issues): the ice machine was broke on the 3rd floor, in my room, I did not have furniture in my room beside my bed to put my purse, insufficient furniture to accommodiate guest. I did not shower because the towels texture were hard with a ruff feeling when I dried my hands, ineffective phone/verbal communications and the morning breakfast service was shut down early without a valid reason. my family / we did not get our complimentary breakfast during the allotted time.

I liked the convience of being in the middle things. But I didn't like the patch work done in the shower tile and the dirty sheets. We ran out of tissue and had to wait 45 min for a plunger. It was very dusty and our bathroom had a roach in it.

Flooring in room was not thoroughly cleaned. Bath tub and shower fixtures were loose. Shower curtain needed to be longer to keep tile floor from getting wet.

The AC didn't work in the room and I couldn't sleep and left the room after 3.5 hours...

This location charged me for $70+ on some "mistake" and never paid me back. Hotels.com was contacted as well and did nothing about it.

Also no place to sit outside for guest to social distance. Pool also closed and not noted. I understand due to virus but I think those thing should be mentioned up front or posted on website like other hotels
