Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating its prime location and friendly staff, but expressing dissatisfaction with hidden fees, cleanliness issues, and outdated rooms. The majority of guests seem to enjoy the proximity to the beach and the helpfulness of the staff, but many are frustrated with unexpected charges, poor room conditions, and maintenance issues.

Hotel is ran down. Our room was in terrible shape. Carpet was old and worn. The bathroom had paint peeling off the walls and needs to be repaired. The morning we were checking out, I walked into the bathroom and there was a cockroach in the sink. We beelined out of there and would not stay there again.
- 2/5
I biked this as a mini mommy vacation. I was okay the hotel until saw and to fight the biggest roach I’ve ever seen. In the bath tub waiting for me the morning I woke up. Honestly I just couldn’t stay there any longer. I cut my mini vacation short and just went home.

Every single staff member from the bell hops to the front desk to housekeeping were outstanding. Incredibly kind and happy for every question we had. I have never experienced staffing as a whole this wonderful in a really long time. We are traveling to Miami next year and looking to stay here again instead. The pool and that whole area was amazing. My kids thought they were living the high life. The walkable and private bridge access to the beach was awesome and very convenient. We also liked how the location was located within walking distance to many restaurants too. The only complaint from our family was the pillows. To be fair, we never mentioned it while we were there.
- 2.5/5
Location, Ruth was extremely helpful!! We never had any housekeeping in our 4 days there. We saw her on our floor but she neglected to ever clean. We had to get all our coffee, towels, waters at the front desk. No working ice machine on our floor. No towels at beach 2 days in a row.

Room was comfortable The lady at check-in was on the rude side, kept giving us the run around on the room being ready for an early check in for which you were expected to pay $100+ for one hour early. Did not provide the room until 2 minutes before check in time and then when checking out, someone was waiting outside of our door up to 30 minutes before, checking to see if we were gone. Felt very uncomfortable to open your door and someone is standing there with paper in hand to check off if you are gone after receiving three texts to do an early checkout via the app. The bathtub needed to be updated, furniture had some wear. Being approached as soon as we walked in the door to participate in tours of other Hilton properties for points. You can't check in until 4 and the guy on the beach puts up all the chairs at 4:30, you lose the first day of amenities.

Location, pool, food, service was all excellent. We chose a room with Marina view, all we could see was the tree outside our window. But no big deal

The marina view building was old, noisy heater without working thermostat, slippery bath tub with a nozzle that was impossible to pull out, nobody answered the front desk or housekeeping, no coffee cups in the room and the bathroom door wouldn't latch
- 5/5
Overall, we had a decent stay and found the hotel to be a good value for the price. The ocean view from our room was fantastic. However, the service needs improvement; we requested room cleaning twice, but housekeeping never showed up. Additionally, the bathroom was quite outdated and needs a modern refresh. The pool area is small and was always overcrowded. Lastly, be prepared for the parking fee—at $50 a day, it is much more expensive than other parking options nearby.

They gave me the worst room filled with mildew, and he made the walls the walls. The painting was falling off. I complained about the situation and they told me that they couldn't give me any other room. I believe it because they told me that I was in a low moment staying there and I had no family, but the staff was not helpful at all

Good location. close to the beach. easy access to lots of shops, restaurant's, bars and entertainment. tried to check in early, but could not get into the room until later. I understand that the check in wasn't until 4:00pm, but I wanted to get into the room sooner. The bellhop that took my suitcase until my room was ready was upset and acted rude cause I didn't offer to "tip" him ahead of time. I was offended and upset that he kept "hinting" that i needed to tip him before he would help me.

The bathroom was disgustingly filthy. I brought my own cleaning supplies and when i sprayed them on the toilet, shower, and sink, there was red stuff coming out the walls of the shower and the shower head and also the toilet. The bed sheets had stains on them so i removed those and put my disposable bed sheets on that i brought along, as well as the bedbug spray i also brought. The pool area was amazing. If i could've slept in the pool i would have. Beach was fantastic as well. My only issue was the room. The staff was nice and friendly and very helpful. No issues with them.

The hotel itself was ok but EXPEDIA WAS THE ISSUE. I will never book with Expedia again! When I arrived to Florida The hotel stated that expedia sent them cancellation notice but I never canceled my reservation and never received a refund. I called expedia over 5 times to be told that my reservation was still active on their side but everytime they put me on hold to contact the hotel the phone disconnects. At the end of the day it was never resolved and I had to book another reservation and pay AGAIN

1) the rug in the room was disgusting. 2) the front desk was slow and did not do a good job handling the check in (it wasn’t that busy) 3) $55 a day to self park on top of the daily resort fee is completely ridiculous. I won’t be going back to this hotel.

Yes… view was great… location was excellent.. older property built in the 70s and they are clearly not putting a lot of money into it as it appears to be slated for demolition in the near future for million dollar condos by St Regis…needs a remodel to compete with newer projects.. but won’t happen.. could however put more effort into cleaning.. room carpet was dirty .. no reason not to clean those on a regular basis. Beds were OK and got a good nights sleep.

Awesome stay. Love that my room was ready early which meant we could enjoy the hotel amenities before going to the Tortuga festival which was our main reason for staying here. Loved the proximity to the entrance and the exits of the festival and the marina connected with the restaurants and The Shorley was great. Our room also had a balcony with the view to the marina so even if we were in our room we could enjoy the music without havj g to be there. The best part is that once we closed the sliding door you couldn't hear a thing and it was nice and quiet. All the staff were super nice and attentive and loved the warm cookies and water at the front desk it was our snack fix and came in clutch. We have always wished on staying here for tortuga and definitely might make it a trend.

The main lobby was wonderful. The roof top pool was fun! I liked the walkway to the beach. Our room was in a separate building across the parking lot. It was not as nice at all compared to the other part of the hotel. I felt like we were demoted from using a third party reservation.

Our stay was excellent. The staff was courteous and helpful. My only complaint would be the high cost of parking. It should be discounted for guests. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
- 3/5
We stayed at this property 2 separate times while we were there for a cruise. The property was fairly clean but you could see its age. Staff were polite. Our room was average but our bathroom on both stays were very old and outdated and the tubs would not drain. The only perk was beach access. We wont be staying here in the future because the cost per night does not equal what we were expecting.

The downside was the Marina Bay rooms, which felt outdated and didn’t match the photos, plus some inconsistent service (slow response to issues and limited coffee availability). Parking at $55/night was also steep. Overall, a good stay with great amenities, but a few things keep it from being a 4-star experience.

Under staffed during peak spring break season. Had issues with our toilet not flushing and had to call front desk numerous times to address the issue. Towels were not restocked to take to the beach and the elevators were soooo slow!

The marina view section of the hotel is older and not conveniently connected to the main lobby. It is difficult to get Uber and the connected sky bridge is not accessible. Parking is very limited

I had to ask three times just to get some extra pillows brought to the room. Eventually the person at the front desk ran them to the room herself. But this was after I waited over eight hours. We were in the marina side, and the room itself was in worse shape than most motel sixes, i've been in. This property definitely needs a facelift. The pool area was nice, but the DJ was so loud that you couldn't have a conversation with someone without yelling.
- 4/5
The food was great our room was clean we had a problem with the tube not draining well the day we left it was better could use a microwave in the room there was a space at the bottom of our door and at night the light shined through brightly staff was really helpful and friendly

Everything. Location location location! Right across from the beach! As busy as it was with spring break, the rooms were very clean and plenty of towels. Service was great! I would def stay here again and would recommend it! There was a small little hiccup in the beginning but the staff was quick to fix it and offer to compensate.

Location was great and the staff was very helpful The facilities are in need of repair and updating. The plumbing is especially poor. I could barely turn the shower on and the toilet took 2-3 flushes each time
- 3.5/5
Location was perfect. Beautiful views, Beach pool area The fact that I asked for a balcony.... specified the balcony with view of water not juliette......... got a Juliette balcony overlooking the dirty white roof... I did ask for another room. They put us up few levels which was very nice. .... where are the balconies!!!! You can choose at booking a balcony, or Juliette balcony....
- 5/5
No complaints
- 2/5
Charged each guest $37.50 which was not clear at time of booking this was a lot we have 7 guests staying there. We never used any of the facilities we paid for. Place reeked of weed very bad hit you in the face when you get off the elevator. The toilet in or room did not flush! Overall bad experience I would not stay here again. Side note it was Spring Break but we were staying here because it was close to the cruise port

- 3/5
I stayed with the Marina view. I didn't know the rooms were 209 years old. Front flooded. Inconvenience trying to get to the bar and restaurant in the rain. The staff were nice. Except two employees that were rude, and kept talking not acknowledging me when I asked them a question. (Gift shop)I had to give them a speech on customer service etiquette! Don't ever try for the view. You will have a view but the building is ridiculously old if I stay again I want the newer building.

Great hotel with excellent beach access!!
- 5/5
This is now our go to hotel for quick getaways & cruise departures. Staff was attentive & knowledgeable. Even the beach umbrella staff was fabulous. Not to mention no car is needed …. Walking distance to shops & restaurants. We took our college aged girls for spring break. Best decision ever .

Loved it !!!
- 3/5
Great location. Hotel is falling apart though compared to others around it.
- 5/5
The staff was AMAZING. The pool/pool bar was such an amazing time, I wish we would have utilized that amenity more. The location is perfect, left or right out of the hotel you could find good food and shops. I loved being able to watch the sunrise on my balcony. The bathroom is in need of an upgrade, honestly the room as a whole. The lobby vs my room was almost night and day.
- 5/5
Great view and pool area was fun.
- 2/5
Room key wouldn’t work, the door handle piece fell off the door, we had a adult cockroach and baby cockroach in the room, there was a hole in the ceiling and room wasn’t really clean, there wasn’t really a balcony and they over price for parking.
- 5/5
This is our second visit to the same spot because we liked it. The room furniture has been changed compare to the previous stay but it is still good. I liked previous design with a bigger wooden table. Now they have small white round table and dowers moved to a side. Nice big TV and coffee/tea inventory.
- 3/5
Would not recommend staying on the marina side. First room didn’t have warm water, moved us into a room that smelled very musty. Tiny shower, no bathroom vanity, no daily room cleaning service. The staff was nice and attentive to my issues. Pool is nice and beach service was very convenient.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and very friendly
- 1/5
The staff refused to help us with our luggage, they sent us to the wrong room, then the shower faucet was broken and had to be turned 10 circles to even get water, then it was only lukewarm, the elevator floor was covered in beer and stunk then entire weekend
- 2/5
The marina building is very old. I would not stay here again especially after paying over 300$ for a room. The rooms are run down and old. Maybe the main building is better but the marina one is dingy and old. Go to a best western. They have nicer rooms than this hotel.
- 5/5

We showed up at 10:15 pm only to find out they overbooked the hotel and don't have a room for us. So no room for me and my family even though we booked and paid in full over 2 months ago. Then workers at front desk didn't even try to find replacement (which legally they are required to do). We could not find a hotel anywhere and they tried to force our family (who has no car or any idea of the area) with all of our luggage out on the street at 12:30 am. Eventually called the cops on us because we wouldn't leave as we had no where to go. After another hour of police trying to find us a place to stay, we thought we had found a hotel, only to Uber over to the worst hotel in the world, try to check in there and find out they have no rooms either. So now, it's about 3 am and our only idea is to take another Uber back to the airport, where we just had to sit on the floor until we could book another hotel for the next night and take another Uber to new hotel. Literally the worst experience of our lives.
- 4/5
Room was spotless and staff was nice. It was a very brief stay so I could only speak on my welcoming experience. Definitely will book a room here again.

Room was super clean and my stay was very comfortable and relaxing!!
- 5/5
Nice staff, clean rooms, great pool atmosphere, and safe walkway to the beach. Our favorite hotel in Fort Lauderdale.
- 5/5
Great staff. Nice amenities. Great location
- 4/5
Everything was great, except they withheld information about charging me to store my luggage because my flight left later and spent day on resort. Not a word about charging me and found out 2 days later. Other than that…stay was great, room clean, great ocean view. To save some money…eat off the property.
- 3/5
From the day I arrived, Sunday, there were crumbs on the floor. They weren’t vacuumed the next day so I asked for them to be cleaned the next day. I had to ask again. They didn’t vacuum until Thursday!
- 3/5
Room was not as pictured online.
- 3/5
Another request that asked for wash cloth and towel took over an hour to receive .After waiting the duration when s/one finally arrived they came with one item not both items. I frequently stay here on my winter vacation overlay. Service was never lowered to this level of efficiency.
- 1/5
Room was not in the main hotel, but in a motel style building. It was freezing cold and the thermostat was broken and did not work. I requested a space heater for which they told me they “ran out”. The balcony was over overlooking the parking lot. They compensated me with a continental breakfast, which was terrible. Overall a terrible stay.

Yes all average

We were in the old part the bathroom door didn’t shut it sure wasn’t worth the money we paid
- 1/5
For a $300/night hotel I was expecting a much nicer hotel. Our room didn’t have hot water and the room smelled of mold.
- 1/5
Front staff were rude and unhelpful. I spoke to several different people during my stay and not one was friendly. Found out the hard way that you need to pay for parking. $55 a day. For the additional price of parking I could have found a better hotel. Hotel is dated and set to be demolished this summer. You can tell by the lack of maintenance and care they stopped putting any money or effort into it. Even the hotel lobby button on the middle elevator was broken. I got out and waited for a different elevator as I didn't want to rick getting shocked when I tried to return to lobby. Hotel door and major gaps in the frame. You could see the hallway light through the Frame all night, add that the curtain wouldn't close all the way the room was never able to get dark. The Ac was set to 63 degrees when we arrived. The outside temp was near freezing so the last thing I expected was to come into a freezing room. When I changed the temp the AC unit made so much noice I was waiting for it to start smoking. The noise continued our entire trip making sleep hard to come by. The Balcony was so narrow you could sit down let alone walk pass a second person. It might have been 5' wide but was barely a foot deep. Only positive was the location.
- 5/5
Exact room was not available at check in but they made it right the second night. Very friendly staff and well located at the beach. Nice pool area
- 5/5
Bahia Mar is a charming and very welcoming hotel, although I confess that when we arrived, the room we were assigned didn't live up to the picture on the website or our own expectations. However, the service was excellent, and they changed our room, which made us very happy. The hotel staff were very attentive and friendly. Overall, I would love to go back.
- 1/5
Staff were pretty terrible, long waits had to endure the check processes
- 3/5
At 5 p.m. on our 2nd day, we had still not received any housekeeping service. We than heard a knock on the door and by the time we answered it (5 seconds?) the housekeeper had walked away. Very disappointed after what we paid for this hotel.
- 2/5
The room was very old with water leak. I wouldn’t have mind the old room, especially because beds were comfortable, and the room was actually clean. The problem was the water leak right by the entrance from what seemed to be an alarm. The other aspect that really needs to be addressed is the fact that operator/ front desk never pick up the phone when you call. Housekeeping was excellent! Employees very nice and professional all around. The pictures on the website are misleading. They should put up picture on both buildings, so you are aware of the fact that you are reserving a room from the 80’s, and Expedia should definitely give an option to book at different buildings of the property. It was not known to us that the Marina building was a total disaster! And that there was another building (the tower) with supposedly newer rooms. I gave two stars because of the excellent housekeeping, comfy beds, and nice staff. Having a leak from the ceiling wake you up several times a night, and making the room smell bad because of the wet carpet, was not ideal.
- 5/5
Checking in was easy and all was acceptable
- 2/5
Hotel is run down and rooms are dirty. There’s also an overwhelming fragrance smell throughout the hotel.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms, and so close to good food and the beach! I will book again. There is also the cutest open boat bar lounge in the Marina Market, a short walk away. If you are tall, then beware that the ceilings are not tall. I'm 5'10" and could touch the ceiling in the shower area.
- 4/5
Its ok across from the beach . Location convinient.

Great staff - very accommodating. Nice pool and great accessibility to the beach via a walkway. It’s about a10 minute stroll to the bars and restaurants, and a few minutes to the marina. I was here over a weekend and found a local market to wander around.

Hotel rooms a little dated. We had a problem with her tub draining a little slow of taking care of the problem.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Great staff , love the pool
- 3/5
AC was unreal noisy. Hard to sleep with it on, hard to sleep with it off. Staff….great Pool…quite nice. Food…way overpriced and not good.
- 5/5
Big pool
- 3/5
Check in was good. The bartenders at the Lobby bar were great. We found a cockroach on the curtain in our room when going to bed!!
- 3/5
We prepaid for an oceanfront room. We checked at approximately 11:15pm on my birthday after a long day of flying. We were given a room with a partial view but I didn't notice because of the hour. I was hoping to see my first Atlantic sunrise. There was no sunrise visible. The following day we were given a credit of $41.81 (one resort fee plus tax). That amount is hardly the difference in room rates between ocean front and partial view.
- 1/5
Will never stay here again, was supposed to have a balcony then got told I needed to pay extra for it and request it, which I had already done. Paid extra for a room feature I never received and no reimbursement.

Everything
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 2/5
- 5/5
Great hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. The location was convenient and the stay was comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
- 3/5
Room service
- 3/5
Booked a room with a king- showed up and were told only had a room with 2 doubles. Frustrating- as we paid extra to have the room with king- they only offered to deduct the resort fee for one night.
- 2/5
Our hotel room was on the 4th floor. Upon arrival it seemed very nice and clean. We began to take showers, ran out of hot water. It only worked with the foot faucet. The room was freezing. There is no heat in the building. We turned the thermostat to the hottest temp but the cold air kept going- it was 70. 20 min in to the stay, there was a LOUD vibration that shook the floor. It hurt my head. It went on for a good 20 min. We called front desk- they said they would switch us and send someone. They never called us back. Turns out they were doing boiler room testing which happens monthly but no one could tell us this- we saw the handyman. OVERALL wonderful location but I feel ripped off spending $400 Canadian a night- they didn't eve off use the cookie haha
- 4/5
Property is great however watch out for the parking ! You get to park yourself for $55 a night or do valet, $60 a night, where your car is parked outside like any other parking lot. No problem with paying for parking but the value is just not here
- 3/5
The hotel is outdated and not very clean but it’s nice to walk to pool and beach. The hotel is in a convenient area enough that you can look past the downfalls of the hotel room if you don’t plan on spending much time in the room.
- 2/5
Killed between 5-7 roaches in the room which shocked me with it being a Hilton. Room had burnt spots all over the floor, tv remote did not work. I knew we were in trouble when I walked in and they stored our bags and never brought them to us.
- 1/5
very bad check in. I left the hotel after five hours.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. We were able to check in early and got a complimentary warm cookie and bottle of water.
- 5/5
Very scenic views. Walking to food and Warf and beach were easy and close.
- 3/5
Paid extra for room w one king bed and got two separate beds instead
- 5/5
We stayed 2 nights before our cruise. They cleaned the room the second morning. Breakfast is not included but for $15 US you can have a nice hot breakfast with awesome service. They provide towels and two chairs at the beach +2. Free drinks at the pool bar. We were 4 1/2 km from the cruise port and about 5 km from the airport. We will definitely come back
- 3/5
The room was comfortable. Check in was easy. The reason for my rating is because we self parked for $55. When we checked in they put a hold on our credit card for $100. We had a balance due of $41 for charges not collected by Expedia. The entire $100.66 went through on my card as well as the $55 parking charge. I called and was told the would credit my card the extra $55 they charged but so far I have not seen a credit or the email I was supposed to get. Check your credit card for additional charges!
- 2/5
This property clearly shows a lack of investment in maintenance and upkeep, as it will be decommissioned this year. Unfortunately, we’ve experienced this firsthand.
- 3/5
Rooms bathroom shower handle was si hard to open and closed
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, expensive breakfast
- 3/5
The room was in good condition. You can definitely see the age in the hotel. We had to ask that our sheets be changed because there were stains on them. Looked to us that the sheets had not been changed from the last guests, but the cleaning staff changed them right away. We found out that the hotel is slated to be torn down soon, so the condition of the building is understandable. Great location!! Overall the stay was pretty good all things considered!
- 3/5
There was no view. The rooms are old, run down and slated for demolition.
- 5/5
Amazing staff, beautiful hotel, close to everything especially the beach! Loved it! Our room was ready super early! Will return
- 3/5
The hotel charged for resort fee, however, we arrived on the windy day and Beach access is closed. The hotel should refund the resort fee.
- 5/5
Very nice room. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
- 4/5
The location across the street from the beach with the convenient walkway was great.
- 4/5
Slow elevators
- 5/5
Very friendly, helpful front desk person👍
- 5/5
Nice clean room. Great location.
- 1/5
Avoid this place. Valet parking ($60 / night) only available. Given a room in annex building across parking lot. Building in dire need of renovations. $80 / night resort fee not disclosed until checkin. No housekeeping during our stay. Bad smell in room. Courteous staff overwhelmed leading to bad service. I could go on.
- 5/5
Overall dry good value for the money.
- 3/5
The furniture was in good condition but the rest of the hotel was pretty old and needs a good upgrade.
- 2/5
The fire detector was beeping for almost three hours and wasn’t fixed until around 1am after multiple requests and we had to ask for replacement batteries because their “fix” was to remove the detector entirely. The rooms smelled musty. Photos online look nicer than the actual resort which appeared dated.
- 1/5
I will never go back there again. It was awful.
- 5/5
Great staff and very comfortable rooms.
- 4/5
Nice room overlooking the marina and ocean.
- 3/5
Was very disappointed about paying $60 to park!
- 1/5
Did not get to go to hotel
- 5/5
Yes the view was great. It was a partial view but still great
- 4/5
I have stayed here multiple times. It’s a very nice hotel and would recommend it. Only problem this trip was the boat show was over the weekend and something was either spilled or someone was sick I’m not sure but the carpet in the hallway by my room was wet and sticky and the smell was not good. I didn’t complain but they did put a fan in the hallway that basically blew the smell into my room. I actually unplugged it. It’s a nice hotel and reasonably priced. Be careful booking online cause all the fees from booking online and fees motel charges are ridiculous in my opinion.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 4/5
I chose this hotel because it had ocean front balcony rooms, beach service, pool, bicycle rentals, and it had its own water taxi stop. The room was clean and had daily housekeeping service. The hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. The room didn't come with a microwave but they brought one to our room within minutes of asking about warming food up. Towels were readily available for the beach and pool. Things I didn't love... The $125/night deposit required at check in. I wish that was disclosed in the listing so I could be better prepared. Didn't love the tiny juliette balcony. I wish the balcony was big enough to have seats so I could really enjoy the view. Didn't love the tiny bathroom. I was expecting a glass shower but instead it was a split bathroom (sink separate from toilet and shower). It could be designed better to have a larger shower, closet, toilet room, and vanity in a single room. Also the water pressure was low, the shower head was poorly placed, and the water was either really hot or cold. If you book here remember to bring extra $ for the deposit, enjoy the food at the food hall, skip the lobby meal, and take full advantage of the complimentary drink vouchers! Overall I would stay here again.
- 5/5
All great
- 4/5
Waking each morning to both the marina view as well as the ocean view was wonderful. I found it calming to watch the workers on the dock prepare each morning as the sun was coming up and then seeing the waves break in the ocean. While the property is on the older side (still has a tub instead of walk-in shower) the hotel rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was accomodating and extremely helpful and oh, try the Tropica Salad at the pool bar with bacon - YUM!! We celebrated a friends birthday and the hotel went above and beyond to make sure she had an incredible stay. You are within walking distance of great bars and action on the beach.
- 3/5
There seem to have been construction going on next to our room. We were woken up almost every day at 6 AM with trucks beeping and construction workers talking. It was very inconvenient.
- 5/5
My favourite part was definitely check in with RJ he was the absolute best !!! The location was also 10/10. Food beach short Ubers to parties etc. our room was cleaned everyday but it was always a bit damp and also smelt damp the entire time. I think rooms need to be aired out more. Construction woke us up early everyday but the view was still lovely
- 3/5
Overall okay

Great stay

Great place
- 4/5
Room overlooked beach, very nice size room, staff was very nice and very welcoming and of course...love the cookies
- 5/5
View was great of the beach, Parking seemed a bit high. I'm still getting use to paying for parking at hotels.
- 5/5
The pool and the view from my balcony was amazing

Perfect across the beach
- 3/5
I was in room 200 which is in an older building in the property.
- 4/5
The room was clean and well organized
- 2/5
Property is old
- 3/5
Rooms are outdated/old and the furniture too.
- 5/5
Rooms are very spacious and comfortable
- 3/5
I was supposed to get a marine of view from my room. There were trees! A obstructed view. I over paid. I did not get what I paid for!
- 5/5
Good room service
- 4/5
Smart TV may be a reasonable update for rooms. Water temperature was not smooth transitioning in shower - I’m not sure if that’s a universal issue throughout all rooms.
- 5/5
Bed was comfortable
- 5/5
Room is not good
- 1/5
Ac broke no help front desk rude
- 5/5
Location was great. Beach was beautiful and chairs were complimentary. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Room was large and very clean.
- 5/5
Service in the hotel with everyone was very good. The response to anything bad that you asked would be the bathroom towel could use some Downy fabric softener. They are a little rough.
- 4/5
Pool was always cloudy; meaning contaminants, improper filtration or bad chemical maintenance. May not come back because of this.
- 5/5
Easy access to the beach
- 2/5
The oceanfront room it was no available
- 4/5
Location
- 5/5
I like everything about this property.
- 5/5
Hotel was great with excellent views of Ft. Lauderdale Beach! Accommodations were comfortable and staff were friendly and very helpful!
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
The service, the cleanliness, the views, the hospitality, the pool bar food & drinks - top tier!
- 3/5
The hotel itself met my expectations. However, I wasn’t satisfied with my room view. I paid for a balcony view, and was told my room would be located on the 14th floor. I was actually given a room on the 4th floor with a white rooftop below, very unattractive. I will not be returning to this hotel. Already making plans to return to a hotel that will give me what I paid for.
- 1/5
There were cockroaches in the room. Atleast 10 of them
- 1/5
Terrible
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Its in a pretty nice area for walking!
- 5/5
Accommodating staff throughout
- 4/5
location is great
- 4/5
The Ocean view rooms are soooo moist. The chair was molding & nothing ever got all the way dry. We also found 2 live roaches in our room at one point.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and nice. Bathrooms can use updating. Fan in bathroom didn’t work (room 600) pool area clean, friendly and fun!
- 4/5
The staff was friendly but there was a problem with the virtual credit card from Travelocity so even though we paid for the room May 18 it took over an hour to get an agent from travelocity to pay them so we could get our room. So frustrating to waste an hour of our short stay here at the front desk.
- 4/5
It was a good stay until some of the staff got a little bit of attitude. Except the one lady that welcomed us there. She was great
- 5/5
Easy acces to the beach.
- 3/5
Property need updating , picture on website decieving
- 4/5
My stay was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. My bed was extremely comfortable and there were an abundance of pillows which was fantastic. View from my room was gorgeous and the hotel food was good. I was disappointed in the pool area as it was pretty filthy by late afternoon. We opted not to bother going in. And I felt very bad for the bartender at the lobby restaurant as it was Panther Parade Day and as such the hotel was packed and she seemed to be a one-woman show. She rocked it but the restaurant/bar was profoundly understaffed.
- 4/5
Dust everywhere …. Elevators are super slow.
- 4/5
The 2 women at front desk were a bit rude. Stale faces, no hospitality or enthusiasm instead a lot of robotic and scripts and the brow raises. Cell phones at area personal water bottles plus other personal distractions in area of theirs also made me feel unimportant. Rooms were not ready at 4pm they asked for my cell to text/call I came back 20min later and rooms were ready yet I recieved no call/text? Typically when checking into hotels were warmly greeted with a smile asked questions about our visit and a bit more hospitality involvement. Bug they dropped the ball here on Saturday 6/21 afternoon. Women working front desk should be retrained for more ethical genuine hospitality. Tina's painted white paint was peeling off gave me the yuck but the worst was the 1st impressions at desk. Bar tender Omar was great! Valet Parker's were great as well. Hotel smells great! I wasn't offered water or cookies like all other guests being checked in before me. I wonder why?
- 1/5
I have a reserved room. Called at 4 to say we would be checking in later that night. When we got there they had given away our room.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, clean, towels everyday for showering. Was given cards for free drinks at the bar, a card for a free pedal bikes, if you go straight across to the beach you get free beach chairs. Would definitely go back!
- 5/5
Pool was great! Close to the beach, and walkable to the beach!
- 5/5
The staff is super friendly and very helpful. It definitely looks like an older property but still nice
- 5/5
It’s very convenient as far as food beach access, and the staff was one of the nicest staffs I have ever experienced.
- 5/5
It was absolutely perfect. The staff was wonderful. They were polite checked us in early clean room comfy beds slept well.
- 3/5
The Property seems Old, in need of renovations. Showers in the rooms could not hold temperature. Parking is a pain/swipe-cards never work. Check-In takes forever. Service for breakfast is slow. They need some new workers at this property with a sense of urgency. The area outside the property is amazing though.
- 4/5
Nice
- 4/5
Warm welcome. Many on site amenities included. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and beach.
- 5/5
Love it!
- 5/5
Very expensive parking. Pool was very cloudy. But good area and family friendly.
- 1/5
Arrived to a sarcastic employee at front desk, because we didn’t do the check in made us wait 30min until we had a room available mind you this was already scheduled and paid for. Housekeeping arrive at 7:30am slightly knocked the door did not wait for an answer and just opened the door when we yelled occupied.Later on at 10am the same scenario. In addition to this no hot water was working and air conditioner was lazy to work. Would not recommend!!!!
- 5/5
Very nice people location was beautiful.
- 5/5
Everything was fine
- 3/5
Front desk was very unfriendly, property was run down and not very clean. House keeping was pushy on checkout day telling us that we needed to check out starting at 10am when checkout is at 11am. Other than location not worth the value
- 4/5
The pool and beach access was great. For the price you would think they would have a complimentary coffee station for n the morning. One of the women in the cafe was super rude and actually yelled at me while trying to get a coffee in a to go cup.
- 5/5
I loved how close the hotel was to the beach, the marina, and dining.
- 2/5
There is no coffee available till after 7-00 am We have to stay in the remote building and that was not convenient at all
- 3/5
It was old. I was told it was remodeled. It wasn't. Found out it is being demolished next April. Even the cookies they pass out were stale. Very disappointed!! And it was Top dollar. Ugh.
- 3/5
It's a tired property that is planned to be deolished in the next few years.
- 1/5
We did not like paying for an upgraded King room in Expedia for our anniversary weekend and getting to the hotel yesterday afternoon to find out we were getting two double beds!!! Much less value than we paid on Expedia! Interesting enough, my husband booked a king room through Hilton Honors while we were eating dinner at the hotel and guess what, he was confirmed, a King room! We wonder what is going on?
- 3/5
I was disappointed not to get the ocean view room that I paid for. The room were under construction. They did waive my resort fee.
- 4/5
Service no good
- 5/5
Everything was perfect! We were able to check in early and our views in the King Suite were spectacular. The pool was such a vibe and the location was also perfect for our getaway weekend.
- 5/5
Personal bridge above street to beach access, the staff were amazing especially the front desk
- 1/5
It was not clean
- 4/5
Beach easily accessible Pool too small felt cramp
- 4/5
The pool was great , had to pay for everything , no complimentary coffee , Strange , would visit again
- 5/5
The views from the rooms were beautiful.
- 3/5
Our room had a musky oder coming from the carpet and mold in the shower on the grout. The breakfast was good.
- 3/5
Rooms for sure need an upgrade. We had to slam our door shut to get it to lock. Super hard to open and the door handle looked like it was about to fall off. Water damage on the ceiling. Mold in the bathroom. Pool table and ping pong area in bad condition.
- 4/5
Downside is the staff use the elevators to transport their cleaning and supplies upstairs to the rooms. Not so great when everyone is coming and going during check in/out. The balconies are partial. You can’t sit on the balconies. The staff really aren’t that friendly. The person on the front desk wouldn’t give any change. Just a no. Not accommodating at all. Not personable. Very slow to check in. Like watching paint dry. The guy serving the breakfast was running around and doing everything. He is the star of the show. Hotel is close to airport and cruise port but I think too expensive for what is offered. I wouldn’t stay there again.
- 4/5
Our room was not ready at 4pm. Had to pay an upcharge to get another room that was ready at the time. The room was an ocean view but considering the circumstances this would have been excellent customer service to make up for the delay.
- 3/5
For the amount of money we paid to stay here we expected much better service and the hotel room in better condition. The outlet was falling apart, the ice maker on our floor didn't work. The staff didn't remember to replace the coffee, tea or water and once the towels. I was really disappointed for a Hilton Hotel that was so pricey.
- 4/5
Price was a bit expensive
- 5/5
Very professionnel
- 2/5
Very unclean and unfriendly. Not compromising what so ever!
- 1/5
I explained to the hotel that I needed the room I was with my child and finally the can give me a room but this was unacceptable They pretend that I wait around to hours more for my room
- 2/5
I booked an oceanfront room, but when I arrived, I was taken to a small building in the hotel parking lot. The room was disappointing and had a view of a run-down marina, not the ocean as I expected. The place was in bad shape and there was a constant loud noise coming from the air conditioning or some other machinery. It certainly did not feel like a $480 room.
- 4/5
Great Location by the beach- not far from the airport and the Cruise Port
- 1/5
The staff was amazing and accommodating especially the morning manager, unfortunately my stay was not easy going due to certain situations.
- 3/5
I liked the property and the location. We took my son on Spring Break and this hotel was away from the crowd next to the marina. We had a marina view which was nice. But $50 to self park plus $3.50 for parking tax is ridiculous if you're staying there. On top of a $41.81 resort fee with tax per day and a high tide fee of $71.25! Add an extra $500 for a 4 night stay!! I would not have stayed here had I known that it would be that expensive! The staff was super nice and the rooms weren't bad at all. It was the price for me! I would have stayed somewhere else that was a lot nicer for that price!
- 5/5
Very nice property and location was perfect!
- 5/5
Great location. Walkable
- 4/5
The hotel is getting a little worn down and beat up, but for the money, the pool, and direct access to the beach!!! I’d book again.
- 5/5
Great location! Walking distance to the strip and very clean
- 4/5
Decent hotel. Needs renovation. Everything was ok not great.
- 5/5
Very nice peplole
- 4/5
The perfect place to stay while waiting for your cruise. Short walk to beach and restaurants and close to main strip but far enough away that it’s quiet. We stayed for 3 nights with our kids and enjoyed 2 amazing days at the beach. Staff are friendly , beach chairs and towels were a nice bonus and the cookie was delicious!
- 4/5
Solidly OK hotel for one night stay near FLL. The property managed spring break traffic well. Liked the views of ocean and marina.
- 4/5
Icemaker on floor was out all week
