Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its cleanliness, great location, and friendly staff, particularly Sean. However, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with hidden fees, construction noise, and certain aspects of the service.
- Clean and spacious rooms
- Great location across from the beach
- Hidden fees and unexpected charges
- Construction noise and inconvenience

• The room cleanliness, floor to ceiling window, large room and balcony. • Complimentary drink on arrival. • Beach across the street from the property. • Restaurants and entertainment on the strip of the hotel. • Breakfast lunch and dinner dining on on the property. • Pool bar and regular bar on the property. • complementary beach chair and bike. The list goes on! I loved everything!

Everything good except I have not received my payment receipt. I told the front desk to send it to my email they said yes, but i haven't received it. So i don't know are they going to charge my Valley parking fee or not but i saw my bill charged is high than expected . I parked my car in valley parking only 2 nights. Just want to clarify the charge. Thanks

We enjoyed our stay

The location is across from the beach, a lot of restaurants in the area within walking distance. We had an excellent meal at the hotel restaurant, Riviera. The room was clean with a fabulous view. Occasional road noise but was momentary.
- 5/5
Clean room, very nice staff, view from the room was super nice ,very convenient.
- 2/5
The room had an order, the sheets smelled like smoke. Valet took long to bring vehicle. I asked for a emailed receipt 3 times never got it. Only to get charged way more than expected, with no receipt to verify chargers. 10/10 do not recommend!

Breakfast was poor More food, waiter was awkward.

The hotel wasn't dirty, but also wasn't very clean. My room wasn't very clean though, with stains, splatter and hair around the room. The reason this place isn't a resort, is because it was just a hotel with a simple pool, and a sad little bar up top. The restaurant in the lobby wasn't great either, very expensive food and not very good. You're better off going to the college town-like restaurants and clubs around it for food. I did not rent the bikes, so I can't comment on that, but they also offer chairs and towels for their beach spot, which honestly anyone could just walk up and use. But that doesn't stop them from charging a resort fee (one of the highest in the area), and they claim you benefit by getting a 2-hour bike rental and 2-hour beach chair use, (though you have to pay extra for an umbrella). You're supposed to get two signature drinks, per day, but when I tried to redeem that, I was offered bottled bud light, or corona or their wine. What a joke. The "resort fee" is just an extra profit charge really. I probably would not stay there again, I'd rather just spend a little more money and go to the Ritz down the street, where they have actual chefs and amenities to offer, rather than a beachfront motel 6.

Would never go back - manager at the front desk was very rude and spoke to us very unfriendly. We are done with this hotel.
- 4/5
Resort is located across from the beach. Close to Las Olas Blvd where all the shops and restaurants are by a short drive. Walking distance upwards for more restaurant options. Starbucks conveniently downstairs. Rooms are very spacious with lots of storage. Sean at Valet is awesome - super nice, welcoming, and attentive.

Only good thing about this hotel was view from the room When we reached we got to know only street where we can drive to hotel entrance is closed. When we called hotel staff, we were informed that we should a wrong turn and cops already know that would allow it. This should have been communicated to us in email before with detailed map of what wrong way to enter. Next, couch in hotel room was dirty and had stains. King mattress did not fit into frame. I complained to night staff and she said, she has another room but not with same view. When I looked at another room, couch was dirty there too. It seems its common. I stayed in the same room and complained to manager next day. She offered to clean the couch and send in cleaning staff while we were out. When we came back later that night, couch was still dirty. Adding insult to the injury, no one came to make bed and there were no fresh towels. When I called reception, she said she can send in fresh towels but staff making bed is gone for the day. For my troubles hotel staff waived 110$ worth of valet parking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone in right conscious and would never return to this hotel even if its for free. Its totally not worth 450$ a night.

Everything 5 star. Just be prepared to walk a little bit, because you cannot drive nearby property. There is construction. The room in service is very nice!

Everything. Shakira was friendly and welcoming. The location is exceptional and quiet. Rooms are large and clean with floor to ceiling windows. Perfect oceanfront views. Appreciated the drink vouchers. Great restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely come back. Hotel has zero control of this but check social media for seaweed reports. It was really bad the first half of the trip. No one was in the water. Plan accordingly to avoid disappointment.

Beautiful hotel. A lot of amenities and beautiful ocean front view. Great staff and bartenders at the Pool bar and restaurant bar. Will definitely stay here again!

The stay was good, but there was an issue that when we woke up and was going to shower there was no water. When we called they told us that they did not know how long it was going to take to be fixed. Instead of letting us know that they’re sorry and let me see how I can help you or give you something complimentary for the inconvenience they did not.
- 5/5
Pool was very basic. No amenities. View was beautiful looking at the beach. Dining area for breakfast was really good and the food outstanding!!! The room was very basic. The coffee Mashine had water on it when we got to the room. Not clean

The staff was wonderful. Always helpful. The Hotel is lovely and comfortable. The pool is great. The location is fabulous. The pool bar seemed to be abandoned sometimes. The be right back sign was out but the staff person was gone long enough for us to give up.

Great hotel, you can show up early before check-in. They will watch your luggage so you can still enjoy the pool and the beach before your room is ready.

Location I even left a day earlier as I really wasn’t happy there. I had to move rooms twice as aircon was so pound and felt like the whole system was getting to fall through the ceiling. I am an honours member and seems like it counts for very little. The manger gave me extra points but doest even cover one day stay anywhere so what’s the point!!! The one day they never cleaned my room
- 3/5
The amount of homeless people hanging around. Some even on the sitting area in the hotel breeze way . For a suite the balcony was above pool roof you could barely walk out and sit.
- 5/5
The beach had a lot of seaweed. It was racked early morning but came back throughout the day. If you went in water, you swam with it. Pool was cloudy the last two days with black stuff floating in it
- 4.5/5
Beach, view, room, free drinks per day You must pay 30 usd at the beach for umbrella !! The pool close at 5 p.m.

Generous with the room towels and complimentary drinks at the bar. High ceilings in over-sized rooms are a plus. It’s steps from the beach and the promenade. Good music playing throughout.

Staff was great and enjoyed in across from the beach. Loved having the bikes available to ride at the location. Kelly was our room attendant and she was excellent, very helpful and friendly. She then went over and above finding my husband‘s phone and making sure it stayed safe at the front desk until we arrived back to the hotel. Big thank you to Kelly?

This was a great stay. We were there for just one night preceding a cruise, but it was so enjoyable. We had a room on the 5th floor that looked right out onto the infinity pool and the beach. The staff was very friendly. The valet attendants were very helpful with getting our luggage all the way to the room. And we finished our stay off with a great breakfast at their restaurant. It was a great way to start a week of vacation.
- 5/5
Location was perfect, accommodation was awesome ? That i didn't get to spend more time?
- 3.5/5
The hotel rooms were spacious clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was a good addition with the sliding glass doors. I also enjoyed the pool area, a decent amount of chair and pretty view of the ocean. The best part about this hotel is the guys at Valet. Very sweet and helpful, accommodating us with our Uber and helping us load in our belongings. The staff was very inattentive, bathrooms in the main lobby were soiled every day we stayed there. One of the elevators was down for our stay and it was Easter weekend so extremely busy. No signage in the staircase, multiple groups coming down the stairs with us got lost. A male was pacing outside out room as well as other guests' room and was arrested on site... We tried the onsite restaurant for breakfast, it was completely empty and we still waited for our food for over 35 minutes, and it came out completely wrong. They also tried to charge us $30 more than the math added up to be for our meal. There was a concert going on the next weekend on the beach which I was not aware of (traveling from Ohio and booked months in advance) so the entire beach access in front of the hotel was closed. The name fooled me, I booked this hotel as a special suprise before our 12-night cruise thinking it would be a luxurious start for our vacation but it was not. I will continue to stay at The Atlantic down the street.

Prime location. Food downstairs is mediocre.
- 3/5
Excellent location across from the beach, with complimentary beach chairs through a partner vendor. Nice touch with kids’ beach toys available. The room was very spacious, clean overall, and well-equipped with a kitchenette (sink, fridge, coffee machine), which made breakfast easy. Umbrellas are not included and cost $30/day, which feels excessive. Staff were polite but not particularly proactive. The biggest issue was at checkout: we were told pool showers were available, but they were not working. With a late flight and a small child, we asked for an alternative (e.g., access to a room to rinse off), but no real solution was offered. We ended up using a public beach shower, which was a very unpleasant way to end the stay.
- 4.5/5
Great location $110 dollars for 2 days of valet. Ridiculous to pay that much for parking a car at a hotel you are staying at. The pillows were absolutely horrible. Resort fees, way over priced, why so much for something that should be included

Hotel staff were very kind. Great location and restaurant!
- 4/5
Pool area is nice, rooms are nice and location and proximity to beach are great. Staff and restaurant need massive improvements.
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful and attentive. The view was phenomenal. Great location.
- 5/5
Clean large rooms right on the beach. Staff was very helpful. Would go back.
- 5/5
This is a great property. The location is within walking distance of the beach, and plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. There are areas great for families, and also party spots. The hotel itself is clean and beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The pool area which sits on the 5th floor is really nice with amazing views of the coastline.

Unbeatable view for oceanfront room and location
- 1/5
I have been to Ft Lauderdale may times and this stay at the Maren was the WORST I have had in Ft, Lauderdale. I paid 600 dollars a night for a room and stayed for 4 nights with my wife and daughter and it was a disaster. There was construction right next to the hotel - they are constructing a new hotel- and in front as well. We had trouble sleeping all 4 nights. The view I thought I was paying for was a beach view. The view we had was of a crane and construction and our beach access was blocked as well. Rooms are advertised as SOUNDPROOF, but from 630 am until 6 pm we heard cranes and trucks and construction. It started at 630 every morning! Even heard the room Nextdoor, their TV and people talking. The room is 0% soundproof- completely false advertising. I paid $600 a night and our view and beach access was 100% different from pictures on the website. I asked the front desk to change us to a different room so we could sleep, and they said the hotel was sold out and there was nothing we could do. What a miserable stay. If I had know know about the construction and our closed beach access and no soundproof rooms, I never would have taken my daughter there to celebrate her 18th birthday. So disappointing. I paid 2400 dollars for 4 nights and we barely slept. So bad.

Grossly dirty. Lobby is outdated and looks low end. All lobby seats are dirty and stained, cannot sit. Uncomfortable to relax anywhere. Food area looks depressing and floors in dining lounge by pool are stained and sticky and gross. Pool looks low end. Rooms are big but chairs and furniture old and falling apart. Staff friendliness and helpfulness widely varies. Bellhop overly chatty and entered our rooms during check in and overstayed - inappropriate and unsafe. Coffee and drink and food options on site meager and unimpressive. Location fine and views fine but only a 2 star experience, could not relax since everywhere you look the floors and seats are dirty

Wonderful hotel on the beach
- 5/5
Beach view unobstructed.Clean rooms ,very nice staff.
- 3/5
Beds were comfortable Rooms not properly cleaned. Service in the restaurant was terribly slow. Over 30 minutes to receive our food.
- 3/5
Air conditioning in room was very noisy. Also hotel beach access was closed because of music concert infrastructure taking hotel beach space. Set up for concert restricted access to hotel at times.
- 4/5
Nice room. Staff could be friendlier.
- 5/5
Great location on the quieter end of the strip. Great views from either beach side or marina side. Sean is always very helpful and informative about local attractions. No on-site parking for full size trucks or SUVs without paying extra to keep the vehicle out front. Check for events on the beach before booking. The Tortuga festival was setting up on their section of beach and they had beach space about a block away for use. The pool area is nice, but could use a refresh and some new seat pads etc.
- 1.5/5
This hotel is very run down. The bar did not even have vodka, out of lettuce. The pool area was also run down. It seems to be poorly managed overall. Do NOT spend your money to stay here.
- 2/5
Outside of Anika the staff was terrible, including management of the property. Anika was kind, helpful, and attentive. The other staff members were indifferent and you could feel that energy every time you walked by the front desk. I had an issue with our stay and felt that the entire way it was handled was dismissive. Loved the property, but not much beyond that. Hilton has a gem here, but not much inside to make it shine as it should.
- 4/5
Spacious, clean room with oceanview balcony. Friendly, helpful staff and great housekeeping service. Beautiful ocean view from pool balcony but the pool deck feels cramped and a bit dated. Limited poolside service so cups and trash from other guests pile up. Easy access to the beach. Somewhat noisy location, with loud traffic on A1A and construction two properties away. But overall a good experience.
- 5/5
Everything was fantastic! The valet manager, I can’t remember his name but was so friendly, upbeat and helpful. He gave us great recommendations for lunch and dinner. I would definitely stay here again. Alfredo the bartender was awesome as well. And he told us about the besttttt Mexican restaurant.
- 5/5
Great location! Walkable to many shops and restaurants. The beach chair service was great! The pool area is nice with plenty of shade if needed. The room was perfect and newly decorated. The front desk employees were kind and helpful. Highly recommend Coconuts for seafood - just a short walk behind the hotel.
- 5/5
We had a handicapped room with a balcony and great view of the beach. The room was very large. The shower was outdated, and a lot of water got on the bathroom floor the way it was set up. We had to use a lot of towels to dry it up, then we didn't get housekeeping service the next day even though we were out of our room most of the day. I found a housekeeping staff member and asked about it, but she didn't speak English. I was able to get her to give me a few more towels. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great other than their being a fairly busy street between the hotel and the beach.
- 4.5/5
We stayed in the Premium King Room with Balcony and Oceanfront. The room was very clean, and it had two balconies - a smaller one with a view of the marina and a larger one with a view of the ocean. We were able to sunbathe right from our own room, enjoying the sun and sounds of the ocean, which was my favorite part of the room. The pool was also nice, located on the 5th floor with bar service. The staff was very accommodating especially the concierge, Sean, who had excellent restaurant recommendations and helped us with all of our needs. The location was conveniently located right on the beach with access to many restaurants and shops within walking distance. There was a restaurant in the lobby where we ate breakfast, but there was also a Starbucks. The city was setting up for a large beach concert that was right across from the hotel, but we were still able to have a beautiful beach experience with complimentary chairs slightly to the left of the hotel's beachfront. The drinks were a bit pricey, but it was nice to have that option.

The fire pits are broken and have been for some time I was told. The beach was closed due to an event happening later in the week and we were not told. Rooms were nice.
- 5/5
Great location and clean and update. Annika was great!
- 5/5
Great location, food is good we normally stay here every year. Place is always very welcoming
- 4/5
The convenient location, and the beach. It didn’t quite feel like 4 stars. It was a bit dirty and worn out in places. The staff at restaurants was often not there or slow to serve you (pool deck bar specifically). The food at the restaurant was mediocre.
- 5/5
Superb,
- 3/5
Rooms are nicebut we didn’t have working lights in the nook over our coffee machine. Gym needs some repairs - especially the peloton bikes. Food is good, but service and wait times for the food need improvement. Was a fine stay for what we needed.
- 3/5
Staff was rude and unhelpful
- 5/5
Great views staff top notch!
- 3/5
All the rooms on 11th floor had connecting door and were poorly sound proofed. We could hear every word of next door. Of course they couldn't move us because they were "full". Which is weird because I could go online and book a room. Also experience a late check in, no real apology or offer to make it up; just excuses... Also, kids took a look at the pool and said no thanks - dirty The beach entrance had beat up stained deck furniture and missing cushions along with broken and parts missing fire tables.
- 5/5
Top notch room. Spacious and sunny. Gym and pool were super too
- 5/5
I love that they cleaned the room daily. The pool was clean as well. Going to the beach was easy and the attendant made sure your chair and towels were set up! The location is great because it is close to everything but juuuust enough out of the action to have quiet.
- 4/5
Excellent bellman and room was fairly clean and good view
- 5/5
Great location, and the rooms were clean, staff wonderful, will definitely recommend this property.
- 2/5
This hotel would not park my truck and had no other parking options for me and my family. I had to park 2 blocks away for $35 a day at a restaurant but I could not take my car anywhere or I would have to pay an additional $35 to park again. Also, you had to make sure to pay another $35 before 11am the next day or it would be towed. Very poor for such an expensive hotel. No effort was made to compensate. I would not stay here again.
- 4/5
The beach chairs are kind of outdated and they charge $30 for the umbrella. Restaurant is very expensive for the quality of food. It was not our favorite. Black coffee and tea at the bar, extremely expensive $5. There’s a Starbucks next door, better to just buy there. Pool is great, not very crowded and great for the kiddo
- 4/5
No one picked up water bottles and trash on the patio. Workout room was good. Decent equipment, and large variety of weights and machines. Much of the front desk staff seemed disinterested/ low energy. Didn’t have knowledge of immediate area and where to go, what to do, no suggestions. One of the waitstaff recommended an Argentinian bakery a block down the street that was incredible. I like underground local authentic finds. The hoyel was a new build and it seemed unfinished, quality didn’t seem there: unpainted key card entry, the bottom of the doors warped, the walls seems to look cheap and unfinished.. the trim on the walls. A few modern decor pieces can’t cover up quality installation. The beds were great, the view good, the restaurant food very good but not a great vibe…felt like a deity in or la Quinta. The entrance had some gas fireplace rocks that were never lit the 3 rainy days we were there. A few restaurant furnaces would be great .
- 4/5
The view from our room was exceptional The restaurants were disappointing, limited menu and not much ambiance
- 5/5
Great view of Marina.
- 4/5
Modern and stylish room with great views. My only complaint was that we had to ask several times for the room to be cleaned and even then no water was left which was part of the deal!
- 5/5

Room with ocean view
- 5/5
Room was clean, The staff were above and beyond friendly. We had a marina view which was lovely. Had an issue with the AC and maintenance was there in minutes to fix. Overall, a very nice experience. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Everything worked pretty well. Internet signal could be a little better and faster, but it worked fine.
- 5/5
We had a marina view with a balcony and it was great. We have stayed here multiple times and it doesn’t disappoint. The staff is fantastic and the convenience to the beach/restaurants and the Hall of Fame pool for competitions is amazing
- 4/5
Overall, a nice hotel and Sean is excellent at customer service. However, not all staff were quite so friendly and accommodating. Given this is a Curio collection hotel- i expected higher quality.
- 5/5
The rooms are nice and spacious. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Beach view is breathing if you book „beachfront“ and superior gives you a big balcony. Bike rental per day two hours free of charge.
- 5/5
Beautiful ocean view. and the staff went out of their way to be helpful.
- 5/5
Loved our stay
- 5/5
It was amazing
- 5/5
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Maren. We had a stunning ocean view from room which had super tall ceilings and was extremely clean. Great air conditioning. No bugs. Awesome bathroom with luxurious waterfall shower head with excellent pressure, though also not too aggressive to irritate your mild sunburn lol. Excellent beach chairs and plenty of beach towels provided. Pool deck was also an sweet spot to hang and get some sun. Complimentary drink tickets were a bonus each day. We also used the bikes to ride into town twice across our stay which was a lot of fun (though the bikes had minimal if no tread and definitely need to be exchanged by the bike company). Overall, incredible stay and highly recommend!!
- 2/5
Everything was good besides no free parking and the vallet parking was $55 a night higher then anywhere else as well ass charging you $46 fee a day for resort fee. Very dissapointed in both of those. On top of the cost it was to stay there to have that fee and no free parking. Just for a week stay cost me additionally about $700

Excellent

Yes
- 5/5
Staff was great. Loved the location. Sean was great.
- 5/5
Very clean nice room great staff very friendly
- 5/5
Clean room, bellman Sean was great
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and kind, had recommendations of places in the area for restaurants that were in walking distance. I got a balcony with an ocean view, room was clean woth a great view.
- 5/5
Gorgeous view!! Super clean. Beachfront!
- 5/5
Staff very helpful.
- 5/5
Hotel staff was super friendly. Our room was spacious and very clean. Staff upgraded us to a room over looking the marina. I would go back again without hesitation.
- 3/5
Extremely average hotel and not worth the price that it is. The manager handling luggage was friendly but no one else was. The guy at the pool bar couldn’t hate his job more. They state they are a 4 star hotel however I was told I can only have one towel at the pool and at the beach you have to pay for an umbrella. Honestly would expect better for the price you pay.
- 4/5
Room overlooking the bay (not the ocean) was actually nice - the view onto all the yachts, the swimming hall of fame pools, and the city of Ft. Lauderdale was nice and interesting, especially in the evening. The pool and the beach had plenty of seating. The front desk staff was great. The gym was clean and well-appointed. The location was good - near plenty of restaurants and a short Lyft to Las Olas Blvd. Downsides: The bartenders at the pool and in the lobby were unengaged and did not seem to enjoy their job; the restaurant was just OK as was its waitstaff.. A solid upper-middle choice, but not worth the >$500 night we paid.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Rooms and the views were great. Access to the beach and pool area were also nice.
- 5/5
All new super clean great location for beach views!
- 3/5
I was also disappointed to see additional charges for Wi-Fi, especially on top of a mandatory “resort fee.” It feels like unnecessary nickel-and-diming. In my opinion, these costs should simply be included in the room rate rather than adding an extra $25–$35 per guest per night. That said, if you do choose to stay here, I highly recommend connecting with Sean on staff. He is genuinely one of the nicest and most attentive staff members I’ve encountered. Whether you need assistance within the hotel or recommendations and arrangements for a restaurant, he goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.
- 5/5
The BEST hotel. The room was amazing and clean. The staff is professional kind and caring. Thank you Santiago, Sean, Cassandra, Anika. Can't wait to come back.
- 5/5
Beautiful! Spacious! Gorgeous! Loved it!
- 4/5
The room was clean. Sean, the bellman/concierge was so welcoming and helpful. Property is somewhat out dated and could use a remodel.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms and the gym were nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much.
- 5/5
Our room was on the marina side, which honestly was more interesting than looking out over the ocean!
- 3/5
Yes, the staff was very polite especially Anika at the front desk. The hotel did not have foam pillow and because of that I didn’t get a good nights sleep! How can a Curio hotel not have a foam pillow option?
- 5/5
Everything was great. Great exceptional staff. Room was very clean. Only one thing could be improved. The hair dryer in the room was filthy dirty needs to be replaced.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
He is certainly an asset to the Hilton company!
- 3/5
Room cleanliness lacking
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly. The bell hop (Sean) was super helpful and very attentive as were the valet. The amenities were ok nothing to brag about. The room was clean. The hotel is dated and the lounge chairs were old and the pool and beach as well. Very convenient location. As per the staff as I pointed out before, they were very nice.
- 4/5
Nice facility and room. Great location right on Ft Lauderdale beach. Very expensive restaurant
- 1/5
You are forced to pay valet parking. No choice at all where to park your car. Too expensive
- 5/5
Location
- 5/5
Friendly and organized
- 4/5
Location
- 5/5
Staff was very nice for the most part and the location was fantastic for the beach and restaurants.
- 5/5
staff at the front desk were great. Sean, the concierge was fantatis - so helpful
- 5/5
Staff is amazing, hotel is beautiful and room is large with great views.
- 3/5
The room was spacious and clean.
- 5/5
Awesome location, walk to everything is easy.
- 5/5
Yes, staff very good
- 4/5
Great hotel with nice amenities! Some of the staff could have been more friendly and they charge 18% gratuity to all restaurant checks, we were a party of 3. I don’t mind paying that or more for a tip but it was sneaky… like they were hoping for a dbl tip. Our room was oceanfront which could have been more beautiful but we were on the 6th floor with a big view of the pools covered deck. Other that that great stay!
- 5/5
Balcony was beautiful!
- 4/5
Couple items they could improve that were probably isolated this time. This was our second time here. Notified desk that the thermostat fell off wall right away, never fixed during the stay. Food visible on furniture that I cleaned up when we arrived. One thing they need to keep an eye on before it gets out of control. Several times there were obviously non guests using the couches on the outdoor lobby entrance way. One was actually the outlet to charge his ankle monitor. Would recommend hotel.
- 5/5
Excellent stay
- 5/5
The location and friendly staff!
- 5/5
Great stay. Room was nice and the view was better. Definitely going back. Staff was amazing.
- 5/5
Hotel was just amazing. Had a great time. All staff members were very helpful and
- 3/5
Overall ok of an experience. Ordered room service one night, never got it. Fitness center was average. I expected more from Hilton.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Room was grewt, they were a little late checking me in, so thry upgraded me to a room off the pool. Very nice. Room was spacious, and cleaned every day.
- 4/5
The view is good but there is a construction right outside of our balcony which is very noisy and also ruins the view.
- 5/5
Very nice room. Very clean. Beautiful views from balcony. Great amenities, 2 waters a day & 2 complementary drinks per day. Pool deck was great with lounges, towels and bar/food. Access to beach directly across from front entrance. Chairs & towels included. Restaurant/bar in lobby, with outside seating on beach side. Bell, valet and front desk staff very friendly & professional.
- 2/5
1. Arrived in our room, they gave us the wrong room. Spoke to the manager, who owned their error, but had no other rooms for the night. At best he comped our resort fees, but husband had to sleep on chaise lounge. Next morning, manager stated he had a room, but it needed to be cleaned. We gathered our things by 10:30a so they could turnover our room. At 2pm, we were needing to get our things to get ready for the night, but the room was not ready. They expedited the room to be cleaned. I asked if we were being treated like a new check in at 4pm, he said no, but it felt like it. We got into our room at 3:15. Comping resort fees is not a big deal. As a Hilton member, I felt like he could have done a better job. 2. We were given 5 drink tix. We went to the bar, they were out of house white. I don't drink red & am gluten free (beer is out) and their cooler drink was tequila based, which I can have. Bartender would not accomdate another white. 3. Breakfast was overpriced and underwhelming. Server was kind, but was slow. Definitely eat elsewhere 4. There is no outdoor lounge to sit outside. The outdoor patio furniture smelled like urine & body odor from homeless people sleeping on it. 5. The carpet in both rooms were worn & gross. TV connection didn't work in second room, we just gave up by that time. Again, really wanted to like this place, but it was disappointing.
- 5/5
Unreal, large room, perfect view.
- 4/5
Balcony was amazing and beach access wonderfully convenient. Jennifer at the front desk was super welcoming. Free drinks” with the resort credit was a bit of a come-on, as there were only a few low quality options and the bartender at the main bar was very unfriendly.
- 5/5
Staff was great, rooms were nice size, view was great
- 5/5
Spacious, clean room. Great staff. Bellman Sean was very informative and helpful
- 5/5
The staff were friendly, helpful, and incredibly efficient despite the system being down and having to do manual check-ins. They gave us extra drink coupons which were good for any beverage and remembered our room number when I came to retrieve room keys!? Even on Christmas morning the server went above and beyond and found chocolate for a mocha latte when it wasn’t readily available at the bar area. The restaurant was getting busy and he could have said they were out and stopped there. Great room, smelled terrific, spacious bathroom, and terrific location! Seemed we were a little further south from the beach and street congestion and for our family, that was a perfect fit.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 5/5
Bad start but ended up being good time !
- 4/5
Close to the beach! Staff were very helpful & attentive.
- 5/5
We had a premium oceanfront room with a huge balcony! Loved the view. Staff are very nice 😊.
- 1/5
Requested AC and fan turned off in room. Not possible from controls. Request not dealt with. Air too forceful in room. Told not possible as can only be done from neighbouring room and no one available as too late.
- 4/5
Nice view from the oceanfront property
- 3/5
Do a deep scrub of the lobby and elevator. First couple days power wash guy was disruptive spraying us
- 4/5
The balcony is really small , was marina view
- 3/5
We enjoyed relaxing on the 5th floor beach beds. But on the last day we got sprayed on while relaxing on the beach bed.
- 5/5
Thank you
- 4/5
Sean was amazing and on top of everything! Went above and beyond.
- 3/5
The room A/C was not working properly. They sent someone up while we ate dinner at the on property restaurant and it was okay when we got back but overnight it got super hot even though it was set super low. The room itself was pretty nice BUT we had some spooky things happen. More than once my husband and I both heard my phone get dropped on the nightstand. We heard strange noises all night. Full body chills even though it was 73 degrees in the room. Strange breezes. It’s a no for me again.
- 5/5
Beautiful views right on the beach
- 4/5
I LOVED the location. Felt very safe (I was there as a single woman) and was close to everything I needed. the overnight cost for valet parking with steep, but the attendants were friendly, professional and helpful. Sean who helps people to their rooms was AMAZING with his informative information on check-in. Really appreciated his help. the bartender/waiter at bar was really nice and we had some great conversations…. The only reason I didn’t provide 5 stars was reception staff and shower function. I was supposed to have company stay & they were sick - I tried to change to another ocean front room and they were unable to provide me what I wanted - even though I could see it was available online, they claimed it was not…. The room was adequate, but I wanted a balcony…and oceanfront was more “pool front”…. Overall a great stay…. Again - Location was great.
- 4/5
Everything was good but not worth it $1000 for two nights !!!
- 5/5
the rooms are very clean and the staff is very nice
- 5/5
The view was lovely
- 5/5
The room was spotless and the ocean view was amazing at sunset/sunrise. Shawn's service stood out as well from the moment we stepped onto the property to when we left.
- 5/5
Room was great
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful!
- 5/5
Loved it! Staff was great!
- 5/5
Fantastic room with sea views and a large balcony
- 3/5
Nice room and location but Andy towel was left hanging in my bathroom. The whole room and bed did not feel super clean.
- 5/5
Staff is awesome
- 5/5
Spotless room with a jaw dropping view. From the perfect service, to the pool deck and the beach, everything was perfectly convenient. Even the smell of the lobby was pure luxury. Can’t wait to visit again.
- 2/5
Food service was awful and very expensive at their restaurant. Food served cold and when we complained they didn't care. Parts of our room hadn't been dusted in months. Good location, nice view but not worth the price. Won't go back!
- 4/5
The location was very good, and the bartender was super nice! We liked the size of the room as well.
- 4/5
Staff was courteous and room was very clean!
- 5/5
Location location location!! The hotel was awesome room was spacious clean and very comfortable. We had our room on the back yacht side , it was so quite and the view with the sunset was spectacular, The pool had a great view facing the Fort Lauderdale beach. Close to lots of restaurants we really liked Bos beach bar next to the hotel !! We will stay here again thank you to Sophie for her professionalism and helpfulness
- 5/5
EVERY staff member was so friendly and helpful. Upgraded us to an ocean view room without asking! Very helpful when I discovered I left my watch charger at home. We loved it here. Will visit again!
- 5/5
Great check in staff. Perfect views and good location for dining
- 4/5
It was nice.
- 5/5
Good location, great costumer service, the room was clean, my only complaint was the A/C vent was with a lot of dust, but otherwise everything was good, has a great location.
- 5/5
The main bar/restaurant was hard to get service in at times. The beach access was amazing. Many bars, restaurants, and shopping within walking distance.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The view of the ocean from the balcony was breathtaking!!
- 5/5
First off... front desk Jennifer and Sophia are outstanding ladies and a true asset to a Hotel Company. Second, rooms are pristine and breath taking views top it off. Third, amenities were very convenient having the pool area, restaurant and bar with a little shop 👌 Thank you! Definitely will recommend and come back.
- 5/5
The Maren Hotel was beautiful! The Marina view was amazing. The staff were all so friendly! This will be our choice of hotel for now on!
- 3/5
Sean was amazing, great guy, think he was the bell hop. Pool not great always chasing the sun and chair had sharp metal stabbed my finger to the point of bleeding. Food at the hotel Rivera was mid for Ft Laundersale. Nutella French toast especially sucked. Shower sucked took, took forever to warm up and the. Got way too hot. Pool is cold.
- 5/5
Our hotel room was clean and well appointed. We had a beautiful balcony view of the ocean. The food offered in the hotel was pricey, but amazing. The staff was courteous and attentive.
- 4/5
Clean and spacious room. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Terrible restaurant in hotel.
- 4/5
No pickup trucks, not disclosed
- 2/5
We arrived to be denied parking because they do not accomodate large vehicles. I would not consider a 1/2 ton GMC truck a large vehicle. This would mean that full size SUVs, vans, etc may not get parking due to size. Call ahead or take a real chance on spending YOUR time working to find parking and then having to uber back and forth to your vehicle. They will be happy to point in the direction of possible parking but other than that an apology and an "it is on our website" response is all the help you can expect. They suggested two options which they absolutely knew would not be available due to the boat show. At that point they were convinced that they had gone above and beyone to assist us by suggesting two offsite parking areas that everybody in town new had been sold out for months. But they apologized and I am sure they will again in repsonse to this review. This hotel should be an embarassment to the Hilton Brand. But hey... they apologize.
- 5/5
It was aweful No orange juice Breakfast came cold
- 5/5
Staff were wonderful! The location was perfect and clean. The valet service is top notch…
- 5/5
We loved our stay and will definitely return. The hotel staff were terrific, helpful and friendly. The beach was great with towels, loungers and cool water. Many lively spots in walking distance. Higher end spots were just a short drive away.
- 4/5
Fort Lauderdale beach in general has a lot of plastic trash on it that was distressing
- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
Muy bonito todo , limpio y tranquilo
- 5/5
Our Bellhop Sean was AWESOME. We checked in and a few hours later a group of girls checked in next to us. They were girls being girls, so loud giggling, yelling, typical. I called down to the desk to see if we could move rooms, as I didnt want to ruin thier goodtime and was told absolutly. We left to go to grab food and the desk asked if they would like them to move our stuff, we said sure and Sean was on it, everything moved and set up by the time we got back! He was a great source of information about the surronding area as well. Beds were very soft, room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was good as well. It will be out\r go to Hotel in FLL for the future. Check it out, you will not be disappointed! If Hotel Maren reads this, Tell Sean he was AWESOME and earned lifetime guests!
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 5/5
Amazing staff and beautiful hotel. Customer service was top notch, especially with Kassandra. I'll be returning very soon.
- 3/5
Our welcome by Sean was very professional and welcoming. Our room was excellent however cleanliness of room was lacking. The pool area was dirty, staff did not care, or tidy up the mess left by clients. We had drinks vouchers which was a nice gesture but limited choice and service in pool bar and lobby bar when using vouchers was border line ignorant.
- 5/5
This was such a beautiful hotel. The location was great. It was very clean and the staff was amazing.
- 2/5
This hotel looks adorable on the website. We reserved an ocean front. It’s not really on the ocean, but a road away. We couldn’t see much of the ocean because our Room was above the restaurant at the pool and the restaurant awning covered much of what we could see. Also be prepared - parking is $55 and resort fee $46 so add $125 a night to what you expect to pay. It was not worth that cost to us so felt very nickel and dimed and overcharged.
- 5/5
I truly enjoyed myself, every encounter with the staff was wonderful, the view from my room was just to die for.
- 5/5
The ocean front view was spectacular and the pool area and view was great. Overall, great family stay. Would come back here in the future.
- 4/5
Beach was great! Restaurant needs better times and food service.
- 5/5
they did not want to serve us which i found strange
- 4/5
Pool staff could use improvements
- 3/5
Valet parking only and it is expensive. Breakfast options poor. Proximity to the beach is nice. Problem with the bill and after a phone call and online message, still no response 6 days later.
- 4/5
Everything was great about the hotel. The restaurant attached, Rivera was awful. Thanks!
- 5/5
loved everything and everyone at this hotel. chakira and james are the BEST!!
- 5/5
We loved our oceanfront king balcony suite! The view was amazing! It was a very clean, spacious room. The bed was not as comfy as we had hoped, and there wasn’t a hot tub. But the staff was wonderful, the location was perfect, there was a Starbucks next door, we could walk to shops and restaurants, and the pool was on the 5th floor overlooking the ocean. We loved it❤️
- 3/5
The hotel needs some updates. Are carpet in the room was stained and warned. The service was great. Staff very friendly
- 5/5
Great location. Several places to dine at within walking distance. Bike rental, beach was beautiful.
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff was great. The pool area was a little neglected with multiple broken umbrellas and cleanliness
- 5/5
Cassandra is at the front desk and will check you in and she is amazing. She is helpful. She is professional. She made our stay so enjoyable. Shaun is the concierge that is there anytime you need any questions answered. He is also professional and extremely helpful and kind. We had the best experience at the Maren!
- 5/5
Great walking to restaurants, shopping, beach across the street and a great pool on floor 5. Not the best for children but oh so wonderful for adults💕
- 1/5
Check in staff
- 5/5
Would return
- 5/5
Love Maren! Great spot.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Excellent choice for relaxing and enjoying Ft Lauderdale
- 5/5
The staff was outstanding. Thanks to Jenn, Sean, Chris, and the guy on the beach who help with the loungers. The hotel was clean and the view from our room (ocean front/w balcony) was fantastic.
- 5/5
Great smell in lobby area.
- 5/5
Loved the bay view
- 5/5
Beautiful beach location
- 5/5
The only downside was the bikes that we could not unlock and use even after getting staff to try and help.
- 5/5
Excelente hotel, muy limpio y buena atencion, acceso directo a la playa y el area super!
- 5/5
Perfect place for a beach trip! Beach was clean, water was clear and it wasn’t crowded. If you want a little razzle dazzle you can walk about a block and a half and find bars and restaurants with live music etc! Las Olas beach was the bomb.com
- 3/5
Obviously, the hotel is in a great location. Having stayed here four times in three years I watched the lack of proper management show its face. Understand this hotel boasts 4 stars. The bathrooms in the lobby - filthy! The food is mediocre for the price. I waited 30 minutes to pay my bill for one drink at the bar. The bathroom in my room had hair on the floor. The floor of the shower was dirty. The room itself had dents in the sheetrock. The wooden luggage rack fell apart causing my girlfriends suitcase to fall onto her knee. The balcony has a nice view until you look in the corner on the floor where it is black and mold/moss is growing.
- 4/5
Great stay overall. Beach right outside
- 5/5
Very attentive
- 2/5
The toilet was not working, I informed the front desk and went out for the evening. I discovered it wasn't fixed in the middle of the night. So I basically did t have access to a key amenity
- 4/5
Stayed for a long weekend in August. They charge a resort fee daily, plus charge for valet parking, neither is revealed until the time of checkout. Excellent beach access and nice pool area. Sean who works in valet was super friendly. Place isn’t bad but is in need of a deep cleaning - elevators are a little grimy, carpet outside elevators needs cleaning, layers of dust on the light fixtures in room, didn’t look like carpet in the room was cleaned or even vacuumed regularly. Lobby area nice and seemed clean most of the time. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but the Starbucks onsite was super convenient.
- 4/5
Beautiful beach front resort. Easy check in and check out. No market around but lots restaurants, a 7/11 a block away and spirit store within walking distance. We have Instant Cart, so we used the service for juice, spirits, beer/wine, snacks, fruit, etc since everything is extremely pricey around there. Please be aware if you dine in at the restaurant on the strip, they automatically charge a 20% service fee and still have to do gratuity. Pool is a little small so it seems over crowded when there’s more than a dozen guests so we did not use the pool at all. Overall, price was budget friendly for us at the resort. We will definitely stay there again just the easy beach access if we come back to Fort Lauderdale.
- 5/5
Great hotel and room. Pool was a bit cloudy but we didn’t use it and several others were. Parking a bit of a pain with valet only but would completely return. Very spacious and had our own private balcony and sun deck.
- 3/5
The beach is just across the street
- 5/5
Great location, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
- 4/5
Parking fees were a bad surprise
- 5/5
The staff was amazing! I can not wait to go back this hotel. They treat you so nice!
- 5/5
Sean at the concierge desk was absolutely amazing. Hospitality 10/10, friendlyness 10/10, customer service 10/10, you can tell he cares about those staying in the facility having a great time. Weve been to a few hotels in FTL however woth his customer service well definitely become loyal to this one. The location was great as well, and everything was nice and clean but Sean really did for us. Gotta love when people are truly passionate about their customers and them having a great stay.
- 5/5
Good hotel
- 5/5
The guest staff was extremely helpful and provided exceptional service
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Amenities are great! Location is awesome! Right. H the beach, restaurants and shopping. I did have one night where the room service was not great at all. The food was undercooked and it took an hour to get it when I was told 15 mins. I tried room service the next night and they nailed it!
- 3/5
Great location, right across from the beach and in a great part of town in close proximity to dining and shopping. Cute hotel, would be nice if there were microwaves in the room. Could use some slight updates in the room, paint and so on.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
The only downside was how expensive the local restaurants were. Given the area, it was to be expected though. And the food was delicious.
- 5/5
Love the location
- 5/5
Shooters was very good restaurant and so was coconuts right down the block from my hotel
- 4/5
The staff at the hotel are top notch. They treated me very good. They were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The reason the hotel is not a 5 star hotel is due to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the room. The room was nice but updates need to be made. I think the carpet and some of the furniture needs to be removed, as it is dated and/or stained.
- 5/5
The hotel is in a perfect location right across from the beach and just a short walk from shopping and dining options. The pool area is relatively small for the size of the hotel but normal for the area and we really didn’t use it while we were there..we loved the beach and spent all our time there. Definitely recommend this hotel for the perfect stay in Fort Lauderdale!
- 5/5
I’m giving this hotel resort 5 stars due to an employee by the name of Sean. He was the best!!! Words can’t explain how great he made this trip. His knowledge, professionalism, energy, and attitude was off the charts and I loved every bit of his presence.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Conveniently located right on the beach. Nice pool. Good food at the restaurant. Nice and friendly stuff. Walking distance from restaurants.
- 5/5
Excellent facility, wonderful staff, nice quiet area close enough to all of the best Ft. Lauderdale has to offer.
- 5/5
Gostamos muito deste hotel.?Foi ótimo.
- 5/5
Great location and beautiful rooms!
- 5/5
Excellent staff that were very helpful and informative!! Super friendly!
- 2/5
Great hotel but a terrible experience with service. Since the Panthers championship parade was that weekend, they blocked off the tables by the pool and wanted to require a min $100 food purchase to use the tables. These amenities should already be part of the price of the hotel stay. The staff was rude (except for Shawn, the bellhop, who was exceptionally friendly). Love the decor, location, and cleanliness, but the service left a lot to be desired.
- 5/5
Staff wasn’t the best
- 5/5
Five stars 😉
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 2/5
Room was not clean. Layers of dust.
- 5/5
We enjoyed ourselves—lovely place for our weekend getaway. Highly recommend.
- 4/5
The front desk staff and maintenance were very friendly. The hotel is nice and clean, great location (right across from the beach) with beach chairs included- which was awesome! We had a couple of hicups during our stay- some problems w our AC, and Expedia has listed that there is free self parking (which there is NOT- it is valet only for $55/night). Overall our trip was great and we will be returning!
- 5/5
We loved everything about this property and the people that work there. We will definitely stay here anytime we are in Fort Lauderdale. Highly recommend!!!
- 5/5
Everything about our experience was great
- 5/5
Clean safe and friendly service !
- 5/5
Beach access
- 5/5
The staff was friendly, courteous, and eager to help with whatever was needed. Shout out to Sean which always checked in with us when he saw us in the lobby and James who quickly came to help us with luggage when we arrived. Unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the wonderful young lady who checked us in but she was very sweet and very informative! Just a couple of recommendations: the ceiling fans in the pool area should be replaced as well as the umbrellas. Would definitely stay there again!
- 5/5
- 4/5
Great property
- 4/5
Nice and clean
- 5/5
We had an amazing time! We only stayed one night unfortunately but had a premium king room with a killer view. We were allowed to check in at 9 am and spent most of the day by the pool. Our deck was huge and the view was beautiful. Can't wait to go back! Everyone was friendly and the restaurant was really good.
- 5/5
Of my stay was wonderful. The staff, my room and everything in between was. Amazing.
- 5/5
excellent, clean hotel right across street from Fort Lauderdale beach
- 4/5
Staff incredible. However the room inside felt a little old and a little dirty. The material on the chair by the light stand was torn and looks old. The corner of the dresses looks like it’s been chewed by a dog. I guess for the price we pay the expectation of the room was a little disappointing. As well as the pool. Water didn’t look good. Looked dirty.
- 5/5
The location was perfect before our cruise. The staff was so amazing and accommodating. Great service and rooms were huge and clean. Loved our 2 night stay. Thank you everyone.

My fiance and I stayed here for a week and had an amazing time. Our room was awesome (king marina view) and extremely clean and spacious. The staff was great too. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by staff to take our items and check in was smooth and quick. The hotel is in a great location with a lot of great restaurants within walking distance for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just drinks. Additionally, there is a CVS store 10 minute walk away which has everything you may need for your trip. The on-site restaurant was great too. We had breakfast and lunch there and both were outstanding and not too pricey compared to other restaurants on the street. The pool was clean and overlooked the ocean which was a plus. Also, we got two loungers at the beach for no additional charge which was a plus for us coming in from out of town. Overall, this felt like a 5 star hotel. We originally booked a cheaper resort down the street, but we are so glad we decided to spend a little extra to stay here. I don’t normally write reviews, but I feel super fortunate to have found this gem. This place rocks!!!

The rooms at Hotel Maren are spacious and the balcony views are a great bonus. I really enjoyed the daily drink cards—they were a nice touch. However, the pool was disappointing. It’s advertised as heated, but it’s really only warm when the sun is out. After heavy rain, the pool smelled bad and didn’t seem cleaned. With better pool maintenance, this place could be great.

Staff was very nice and helpful, parking outrage 55.00 daily and the umbrellas by the beach 32.00 daily the food good and reasonable, rooms, pool area everything was very clean

Sean at the front to grab our bags and help us pit with floght delays, food and activity suggestions was the best!

Great location! Beach right across the street with chaise lounge chairs, towels and waters. Great onsite restaurant/bar, with daily breakfast (reasonably priced).
- 5/5
Very clean rooms and convenient access to the beach. The front desk customer service was excellent. And also the valet parking gave us A1 service. And I can’t forget Sean. He was very knowledgeable of the hotel and its surrounding. Only thing I didn’t like was the pool closed too early. My plan is to return soon. I will recommend this property to family and friends.

We loved the the property and stay great hospitality!

The room seemed clean other than adult items found in the drawers from the previous guests. Hotel food is pricey but we knew that going in, so we just used uber or went out to eat when needed. There are resort fees $46/night and the $55/night for valet. You can’t opt out of either one even if you don’t use any of their resort perks like the bicycles, beach chairs, or drink vouchers. There is no self parking so you will be forced to valet. You shouldn’t be forced to pay a resort fee if you don’t use any of the items given. As far as valet there is no parking in the area so it makes sense, but $55 a night is ridiculous. Between the resort and valet fees, it was almost the same cost of the room itself per night. Staff was friendly and it would be a 4 out of 5 if not for the room issue in the beginning plus the extra fees but we would not return.

Great hotel . Very clean, beautiful beach across the street, and the riviera hotel restaurant was very good . Beach amenities were great, however , slightly disappointed that the 50$ a day resort fee only included 2 beach chairs and no umbrella . Every extra chair is 20$ per day, and an umbrella will run you an additional 30$ per day; all above and beyond the resort fee. The area is beautiful with many nearby restaurants . Highly recommend 411, Senor Frog and Bo beach house nearby .

It was an amazing time!

For the most part the hotel is very nice and it’s across from the beach. There is a lot of dining options and bars all walking distance. The hotel was under staffed. They did not have enough bartenders, and the kitchen was closed for over an hour because it was backed up. Very inconvenient as I have low blood sugar and I couldn’t get any food. Not enough bartenders upstairs or downstairs. Also the receptionist didn’t give us a card for access around the hotel since we were waiting for our room. They also needed more staff to clean around the pool area. I understand that it was a very busy weekend since ir was the Panthers Parade. It was poor planning in the hotels part.

Stuff way of talk and attitude must be polite with the people like us who went there for a vacation.

The view of the beach is amazing and access to the beach is so close!

We loved our stay at this property except for finding ants at our room. The staff was very cooperative and immediately changed the room for us.

Love their accommodations.

From the second of arrival the staff was so welcoming and helped with our bags. They even let us check in a little early because our room was available. One gentleman in particular who worked in the lobby on the staff was so informative about restaurants, places to go and see and so much more. Rooms were so clean and so was the hotel. He was so energetic and always asked us how we were doing and how we liked the restaurants we went to. I loved that there was a Starbucks right outside the front for morning coffee. It was the beginning of the row of hotel so it was more quite and relaxing that it would have been in the middle of everything which I loved. Everything was walkable for the most part. But days we wanted to go a little further it was a quick and cheap Lyft ride. Also when you check in they provide you with drink vouchers to use at the lobby bar. Great way to start off the evening with a cocktail while waiting to get our Lyft rides for dinner. The pool lunch menu was great and really high quality food. Overall we loved staying here and would 100% recommend to any friends and family.

I am somewhat reluctant to post this review because we love this hotel so much and feel like we want to keep it our hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale. The location is fantastic, Ft. Lauderdale Airport is small and easy to navigate, and the hotel is quick 15 min. Uber away (if the drawbridge is down). The Maren is the last hotel at the bottom of A1A and is located right across the street from the beach. (Only complaint is there is no crosswalk to stop traffic so crossing the street to the beach is somewhat questionable at times). We always book the 1st flight in in the morning and the last flight out at the end of our trip because the Maren will check our bags and give us a pass to the pool and beach until our room is ready and until we have to leave for the airport at the back end. The staff is great, attentive, and very accommodating. The hotel rooms are huge with a great view whether you want the sunrise on the beachside or the sunset over the marina/intercoastal. The location is fantastic and there are plenty of restaurants/bars within walking distance on the A1A or you can take are quick ride to Los Olas with hugh variety of restaurants. The beach is clean and the water is crystal clear and the hotel provides you with beach chairs, towels, water, and an umbrella (for a fee). We have been to the Maren now 2 years in a row and it has become our quick, affordable, long weekend, mental health getaway. Enjoy

Clean and staff so helpful and friendly

Only thing that was not great was that there were hotel resort fees and such that ended up adding $50/night that we didn't expect since we booked online.

Close to restaurants and bars. Beach is directly across the street so easy to walk to. Beds are extremely hard. Beware you are given waters and drink vouchers but you have to pay 50$ a day resort fee which they don’t tell you when you check in. The pool area is beautiful but it has one person working the bar/restaurant area.

Clean and comfortable
