Reviews
The hotel reviews indicate a mix of positive and negative experiences. Guests generally appreciate the location, cleanliness, and friendly staff, but some have issues with the noise level, comfort of beds, and quality of service.
- Convenient location
- Clean rooms and facilities
- Noisy air conditioning units
- Inconsistent service quality
- 5/5
Our room was very clean, and provided all the supplies that we needed. Check in was quick, and staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in an area where there is 20 plenty of activities, restaurants, and shops. I enjoyed our overnight stay there, and look forward to booking this hotel again in the near future.
- 5/5
Room was small but adequate. Near restaurants and shopping. Really enjoyed the old school charm.
- 5/5
Casitas es un lugar tranquilo, limpio y con muy buena ubicación. Leo, es excelente persona y gestiona muy bien los requerimientos que se le hacen. Me volvería a quedar sin duda!!
- 5/5
Great place, great pool and very good location! Will stay there again.
- 5/5
Amazing as always I'll be back again.
- 5/5
Always a quiet, confortable stay
- 5/5
The property was very fine, parking was perfect, next to a very big mall and a bunch of food shops
- 5/5
Outstanding place very walkable
- 4/5
The room was clean, but the lamp didn't work and the drain was running slow. Other then that it was quiet and the staff was friendly and attentive.
- 4/5
It’s an okay place to stay for a night. Nothing too bad and nothing good. It’s a little outdated and cooled by a small unit. It took an hour to cool the room down and it heats back up when you take a shower. Easy check in and convenient location.

Everything Nothing
- 3/5
Pool is well maintained.
- 5/5
Perfect place for an overnight get away
- 4.5/5
relaxing atmospshere with no crowds, noise, plus on site parking at no extra charge and it was incredible find for a last minute booking and and superb value. Yes, Would stay there again for sure. Richard
- 3/5
Please do something about the mattresses and u could get curtains. Everything else was good
- 5/5
It’s well located near shops and restaurants. It’s an older motel but well maintained. I love staying here.
- 5/5
Awesome little gem
- 0.5/5
From the moment I walked in the room smelled like weed and called the maintenance / emergency number multiple times during that day and next day and no call back to rectify the situation. Hard to sleep with the smell and we had issues with sinues in AM. Left early and extremely discouraged in the staff for not trying to assist or even the next day when I called and spoke to Leo the mgr there was nothing done so our money was wasted.
- 5/5
If you want a well maintained older apartment in a great neighborhood you will love this boutique hotel.
- 5/5
Super cute boutique hotel located close to everything! Really enjoyed our stay. Pool was clean, even though the room was small. It had everything you could possibly need. Quiet and well maintained.
- 5/5
Great spot that is convenient to Wilton Manors, Las Olas and beaches. Close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are spacious, a full 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen, dining and living areas. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
This was a nice property clean quiet the staff were aces will be staying there again also you can't beat the location and price
- 5/5
I stayed at this motel for Easter long weekend. Location was great close to restaurants, shopping, grocery and beach. The unit itself was clean and I was quickly checked in to my room. Nice layout. Nice large spacious rooms. Clean and well-maintained. The only thing I should mention is that the pool is across street.
- 5/5
Stayed an additional day!
- 4/5
Pool should be open until 9pm.
- 4/5
Very lovely pool. The room was a bit dated but it was stocked very well.
- 5/5
We loved the outdoor patio area. So beautiful and relaxing!
- 5/5
We are already planning our next stay here in October!
- 5/5
The area was really quirky and welcoming. Target was a quick walk down the street and breakfast was an even quicker walk. Would stay again, no doubt.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Everything was clean, friendly staff, on premises parking. Short walking distance to a mall, Target, Publix supermarket, several good restaurants (Goldbergs Deli, Las Vegas Cuban Restaurant) and others. It was nice having a washer & dryer on premises as well. We'll definatelly come back. Met a returning customer who's been there 4 times which gave us a good review as well.
- 4/5
The rooms were clean. The door knobs worked and locked but need updating
- 5/5
Clean and well maintained and reasonable. I sure hope they will reconsider the 2 night minimum. I am a regular customer but usually only stay one night. That usually means I must go somewhere else.
- 5/5
Quiet and clean Water was brown
- 5/5
This place was amazing! The location couldn’t have been more perfect! Walking distance to great restaurants, Target was a stone’s throw away. Close to my family, it was a great find and I will definitely be back!
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised! This property was ever thing it said it was for a great price. Will definitely be my place to stay when in the area . Thank you 😊
- 5/5
Awesome
- 1/5
Location was good. Quiet once people outside at the patio tables finally went to sleep. Lots of parking and nice vegetation. "My one-night stay here was incredibly disappointing, starting right at the front desk. The staff seemed annoyed by our arrival and were entirely unhelpful—they completely failed to mention that the advertised pool is actually located at a separate property across the street. The room itself was even worse. There was an absolutely horrific, overwhelming odor that smelled strongly of a roach infestation, even though we didn't spot any visible pests. Cleanliness was clearly neglected: there was mold growing in the shower, and the bathroom door was visibly dirty with grime from previous guests. Finally, the tiny window air conditioner was so obnoxiously loud that adjusting the temperature or fan speed made no difference. I ultimately had to turn it off completely just to get some sleep. I will not be returning.
- 5/5
Great place. Feels like home. Will always stay at casitas 😃😃. Sunni is a good man.
- 5/5
We even had a bbq!
- 5/5
My room was very clean, if a little dated. More than required though and excellent for the price. Outdoor furniture was excellent. I used the bbq twice and enjoyed the outdoor experience. The grills could be updated but were fine. Staff was friendly and efficient. I enjoyed how close Target and outlet shopping, TJ Max and Marshals etc, were. I walked each day. Publix is also within an easy walk. I could have used the theatre, but didn't. The beach too, was an easy walk; maybe not for everyone, but I strolled there in around twenty minutes.
- 1.5/5
The rooms have old and broken furniture that is too large for the space. The doors and windows and AC units are very old and very dirty and all could use replacing or at a minimum some fresh paint. Everything about this place needs maintenance, from the improperly installed kitchen faucet that is loose, to the 50 year toilet and its seat. The TVs should be on the walls and not on dressers in front of mirrors and old prints in broken frames. The cleaning is non-existent and even if you do ask for supplies, they never come. There are dusty bunnies behind every broken piece of furniture and the floors are disgustingly dirty. It's not until after you book and pay for your non-refundable room that they send you an email to say that cleaning is only included evey third dau and you have to ask for it, but they don't come anyways and they don't bother to bring any more 20 year old towels or toilet paper. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone who can afford what they charge; even a motel 6 would be better than this. Everything that I already described above; this place was clearly built in the 50's or 60's and maybe had some tile floors put in in the 80's, but nothing has been updated since. How they can offer this on the same site as hotels and vacation rentals is unimaginable. Run as far as possible from here since the reviews have to have been planted because nobody would rate it as highly as the reviews that brought me there.
- 5/5
Staff was great. Easy to get in touch with. Got me into the room earlier than expected.
- 4.5/5
Grand
- 4/5
Quaint property in an excellent location for shopping & restaurants. Staff were very pleasant. Rooms are a bit tired, needing some upgrades, but very clean with a comfortable bed. The pool area was great - clean and lots of lounge chairs. We would stay here again!
- 5/5
Shopping close by
- 4/5
Very basic for price but clean
- 5/5
Great hotel by the mall!
- 5/5
Help we definitely will be back
- 4/5
The room was great. It had a lot of room, very well decorated and comfortable. No bar or restaurant onsite.
- 5/5
Amazing stay. Really enjoyed my stay at Casitas. Travelled from London with my Mother, for a relaxing, chilled vaccay & we got just that staying here. We got a suite, it was clean, well maintained. The cleaner done a great job, she was helpful throughout our stay. Leo the Manager was very helpful. Helped me with a room upgrade and check in ahead of my arrival. Good staff. Nice & relaxed atmosphere. Great Area (Grocery stores & good option restaurants nearby). Will defo be staying again & will recommend.
- 3/5
The neighbors were extremely loud until about midnight then things calmed down. If you are looking for a cheap overnight option near the beach this is not bad.
- 4/5
This is my second year in a row staying at Casitas Coral Ridge. The property is conveniently located within about a 30-minute walk to Lauderdale Beach and just steps from Coral Ridge Mall, Target, Publix, an AMC Theater, and several restaurants along US-1. The room, linens, and overall property were clean, and the area felt safe to explore on foot. I would stay here again on a future visit.
- 4/5
Nice place for the price. Friendly people, comfortable grounds for sitting and good location. A good value.
- 1/5
Old old, needs lots of updates. Very small. The biggest problem was that every night homeless people would gather on property and get high!!!! EVERY NIGHT it was someone different, very scary situation!
- 5/5
Staff and management were very helpful. Nice location. Easy walk to shopping and beach.
- 3.5/5
Limited office opening hours.
- 2/5
I'll start off by saying that there were some positives to this motel. It's within walking distance to many restaurants and shops, including the Mai Kai, which was our reason for the visit. The beach is a longer walk, but totally doable. Also, the courtyard is very nice. That said, this is not a "boutique hotel". It's a motel that was rennovated at some point. Our room was very cramped depsite it being decribed as a "studio". Yes, there was a tiny kitchenette and hotplate, but cooking a meal in the room would be difficult. Also, the bathroom ceiling was covered in patches of black mold. I wish I could share pictures here. It was bad. Additonally, after the first night, we noticed that the bathrom smelled like sewage, so yeah, there are definitely some issues with the plumbing. Other issue include an AC that did not maintain a consistent temporature, an old TV with a terrible picture, and floors that always felt damp. For the price (around $650 for 3 nights), I didn't expect luxury, but I did expect it to be clean and smell good. These are not huge asks.
- 5/5
This was the most peaceful place, no hustle and bustle here just a quiet oasis tucked away in a busy town. Your close to everything but it feels like your in your own little home away from home, the staff was very helpful and the room was very clean and even the single hotel room had a full kitchen set up
- 3/5
Room was dated, needed a thorough cleaning. My sister was unable to use her bathroom due to the smell. When we told management that we saw rodents outside near rooms, we were told we were wrong. Could be a nice place if updated.
- 3.5/5
I really liked the property overall. The territory was beautiful and well-kept, and the location was very convenient. The beach is close by, and there are malls, shops, and everything you might need nearby. The bathroom was very clean, the kitchen was comfortable to use, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, everything was great and I enjoyed my stay. The kitchen utensils were very minimal and quite old, and some of them didn’t feel very clean. On the second night, new neighbors checked in and the walls are thin, so you can hear everything. I understand that it’s not a concrete building, but the sound carries easily. There is an air conditioner, but no heater. During a colder winter night, the bedroom temperature dropped to 63°F. I understand that Miami rarely gets that cold, but having a heater option would make the stay more comfortable.
- 5/5
Great place. Close to restaurants
- 4.5/5
Wish I could have stayed longer.
- 0.5/5
Bed hard as a brick. Mold in ac unit blowing into room. Outdated
- 5/5
It was clean
- 5/5
Always an enjoyable stay!
- 4/5
Great check in, room was small but well equipped
- 5/5
It was very safe.Very private even with courtyard tables of guests outside.Much better than a crowded motel.Full accoutrements, full refrigerator, regular coffee maker provided.Only one level side by side accomodations.Parking plentiful a few feet from the room off the private street.Still a value as in season costs are very high at inferior and inconvenient other types of facilities. The bed was good but slightly under high quality.
- 4.5/5
Quiet clean and comfortable Air conditioning was very loud
- 5/5
Such a cute place and so quaint! The little suite I had was really nice and very clean!! The staff were very helpful and kind!!
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly.
- 3/5
Had several issues come up, including a shower, that didn’t drain and a broken coffee maker. So so neighborhood. Beach.
- 4/5
The outdoor area was pretty with lots of seating available. The room was dated, bed very uncomfortable, and it has a window air conditioner that's very loud. I liked the roll of paper towels provided. Probably will stay right on the beach next time so I don't have to sit in traffic everywhere I go.
- 2/5
The room was in great need of updating, There were obvious areas of overwhelming wear and tear. The TV in the bedroom area was non-functional and management did not care during check out. The nightly rate was excessive for the quality of the room.
- 4/5
Very nice cozy place, everything was super clean
- 2/5
Room is very small. Even a cruise's room is much spacious than this. You ll fall if you try to walk in room its so cramped up. The bathroom smells like sewage, and they prolly used bleach to over come that smell. Its not worth the price.
- 4.5/5
I booked the room for a co-worker because I knew the location. She loved it!
- 5/5
Safety. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great suite, lots of room.
- 5/5
Spotless. Great location. Would definitely book again if I'm in the area. Room was spotless, but a bit small. OK for 1 night. Would have been a little tougher for a long stay.
- 4/5
Location, quiet Ball is dropped on the details
- 5/5
Good location for us. We stayed here before.
- 1/5
I asked about the fitness center with a discount that was listed and the person replied that one of the gyms probably has a day pass. There was not a particular gym. They mentioned two gyms in the area but did not indicate there was a discount. Very frustrating. The internet was very spotty. I had some crucial work meetings and could not access them on my computer without it bumping me off. I left early as I was so frustrated. I am requesting a partial refund as this did not meet my expectations. My name is Angie Koger and my email address is [email protected] and my phone number is 766.730.0238. Thank you
- 5/5
The hotel is close to a mall—so I walked to get vacation supplies. There is a restaurant next door—so I ate breakfast there (with a discount). I ate dinner at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Aruba Beach cafe, which is a $12 taxi ride. The staff is friendly, the room was clean and I liked having the vegetation around so I was able to photograph iguanas, mocking birds and flora. There was a “neighbor” who had stayed at this hotel before who gave me these helpful tips. I plan to stay again next year.
- 5/5
#3 apartment was outstanding for the exception that the heater was blowing cold air. The temperature never got above 69 degrees even with the thermostat set at 75 degrees, May want to fix that. Thanks.
- 3/5
Extremely loud residential property next to room 14. Don't stay there.
- 5/5
Always amazing, 6th long weekend stay. Will be back in June/July with a larger group!
- 3/5
The staff was very helpful, the rooms were clean. Very small. The mattresses were on the firm side so that made it a little uncomfortable. Otherwise everything was nice. Very cute area to sit outside and enjoy nice weather.
- 4/5
Location was perfect very close to restaurants and shops. Great place to stay pre cruise
- 5/5
Room was larger than i expected, with nice upgrades in both bathroom and kitchen areas!
- 3/5
This place could be so nice. BUT..No eye for details. Dirty floors, thread bare towels, on and on. MEDIOCRE.
- 4.5/5
Window next to shower was sort of blurred but still kind of revealing if you left the lights on.
- 5/5
Property very nice, room was clean and comfortable. Good location, mall nearby and easy access to public transportation to get to beach.
- 4.5/5
Nice setting kind of off the beaten path but handy to most areas ! Coffee tasted old
- 5/5
Nice two bedroom unit with kitchen. Quiet area with parking. Great location near shopping, restaurants and beach
- 4/5
Staff was great
- 4/5
The rooms were a bit dated but all in all a very nice little place to stay. Good walking distance to bars and water taxi. Excellent staff!
- 5/5
Having a kitchen saved a lot of moolah. Separate bedroom. We stayed 6 Nites. We arrived at 12:30 am and found the key as the email read. Pool is across the street, but we had no use for it. We went on a 17 day Princess cruise through the Panama canal after.
- 5/5
Brilliant
- 3/5
Overall, the property is clean and in decent condition… There are a couple of issues though… The room is extremely small… I measured about 150 ft.²… There’s hardly room for luggage or anywhere to put it… Had to walk sideways to get around the bed/luggage, etc. The bathroom is very tight! The sink is very small and there’s no place to put anything… I traveled with my girlfriend who became very claustrophobic within the space… Also, the room had a musty smell, even a touch of urine smell… Some of it came out out of the air conditioner that may be in need of a cleaning… Another somewhat annoying issue was the incessant notifications prior to arrival announcing they had no attendant at the front desk past 5 PM… Making checking in a bit more challenging… Finally, the bed was thin and very soft and I woke up with a sore back! We stayed for one night prior to taking a cruise from Fort Lauderdale… this property did not live up to its ratings and I will not return! John O
- 5/5
Everything was fine. Fort Lauderdale is a perfect place to chill.
- 5/5
Great stay always
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff, and resonably priced for a room with a kitchen. Will definately book again.
- 5/5
Shopping nearby. We drove to shops and beach.
- 5/5
Fort Lauderdale hidden gem. In a quiet neighborhood but walkable to a mall and numerous restaurants. Florida charm with lush foliage. Comfortable two bedroom unit with kitchen, perfect for our family. Clean, well maintained pool. Property is well maintained. We want to come back for a longer stay.
- 5/5
The room was clean, no bad odors, staff was very friendly and welcoming. Gave us a tour of the facility as well. Really is a nice quaint place to stay.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Place was really clean and close by bunch of restaurants. Definitely staying again next time im flying to Fort Lauderdale

- 5/5
Very convenient and spacious accommodations and quiet.
- 5/5
Great area , safe ,free parking. Clean rooms
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
This place is the best. Almost like living in an apartment. I will be back and rebook for my family for sure
- 3/5
This property was adequate. The rooms appear to be one bedroom apartments, converted into suites. The kitchen was remodeled with new appliances, including plates, cups and cutlery. Dining/Living Room, Bath and Bedroom are out dated, but clean. There are two window air conditioners in the unit, plus a space heater in the closet. The mattresses on bed and sofa should be replaced, offering a bit more comfort. Overall, it served our needs for one night.
- 4/5
Close to a mall and restaurants
- 5/5
Yes room was spotless
- 5/5
Room was great, staff is great, happy with the entire experience
- 5/5
Everything was great from the staff to the room rooms are spacious and super clean. The bed is comfy with comfy pillows. Give you everything you need to go swimming to the beach.
- 5/5
This is my 4th time staying here and I always have a great experience. Will continue to book when in town. Very clean, staff is accommodating and places to walk too. Love the pool and its peace and serenity.
- 5/5
Yes. The kitchen is what always does it for us. We prefer our own cooking. Convenient location. Love the simplicity of the layout.
- 3/5
Quiet property, poor internet
- 4/5
Very nice… clean and very reasonable. Just needs to be updated
- 5/5
Nice staff and room
- 5/5
Great service and hospitality!
- 5/5
Great little boutique hotel. Lovely warm outdoor pool in tropical setting. Easy walk to beach, shopping, and restaurants.
- 5/5
The place is perfect. The upgraded me to a suite they’re very nice. They gave me an extra key and I lost mine. I found my key so I don’t have to pay for one. I’ll turn both in and these people are great. They’re very nice. Very clean room very clean patio nice pool.
- 5/5
Our two bedroom suite was perfect! Everything was super clean, it was well appointed and very comfortable. Perfect for one night or one week, we really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely book again when back in Ft. Lauderdale!
- 5/5
Excellent. Always love staying here.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Did halloween and we had a great comfortable stay. Thanks
- 5/5
Beautiful property. A tropical oasis perfectly located near shopping, the beach, and many fantastic restaurants. Clean, spacious, well decorated suites. This is place to stay if you need a quiet retreat to get away and relax. The outdoor landscaping is stunning and offers many serene areas to read, gather, tan, and soak. Pool area is beyond fabulous. Highly recommend. Five plus stars all around.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
A very excellent stay great staff thank you for our stay. Great price way better than stuf clustered hotel
- 4/5
Nice property accept the pool is shared with another property located across the street. During our visit an issue arose when we tried to use the pool and we were threatened by the other property manager that they were calling the police on us for going in their private property. It eventually got cleared up and we were able to use the pool. Also the refrigerator decided to go into a defrost mode our very first night and literally flooded the kitchen. Other than that the place was good..
- 5/5
All great. Licated in a family neighorhood near Coral Ridge Mall.
- 5/5
Much appreciated with my mobility challenges. I did not request reasonable accommodations, but did not need any help. I could have benefitted from a shower chair, but I did not ask. I have a foldable stool in my vehicle.
- 2/5
Super small toilet! Paper roll digs into your side. Hard to reach.
- 5/5
This was more than we even needed. It has a full kitchen with hot plate. Cute and convenient. A very nice restaurant close by that you're given a 15% discount on.
- 5/5
Very
- 5/5
It was how they said it would be. I would definitely be coming back
- 5/5
I I was pleasantly surprised of that location.
- 5/5
Mainly the cleanliness of the room and property.
- 5/5
Clean room, restaurants, shops and beaches near by
- 5/5
Love the friendliness and simplicity of the place.
- 5/5
Great place close to a lot!
- 5/5
What is really nice as well, if you book the 2-2, its 2 separate bathrooms and bedrooms with a pullout queen sofa, great for 5 people or so, and everyone gets a bathroom. This might just be our new spot to stay at when driving down south.
- 5/5
Great Atmosphere, the staff is very professional and kind. Leo is great! He made our check in very smooth and any need you may have he is very fast to reply. Great service highly recommend!
- 5/5
Room was very simple but clean and comfy. The heated pool was perfect
- 4/5
Property needs an update regarding its physical presence.......overall a nice quiet stay.,
- 5/5
Everything about La Casitas is amazing we always choose to stay here!
- 5/5
Very nice room, clean, quiet, and a very nice location. A very enjoyable stay!
- 5/5
Think of ways to muffle the air conditioning noise.
- 5/5
Wonderful hidden gem! The place is quiet, it has parking, very clean, and I was able to check in early. My communications were attended to promptly and professionally.
- 5/5
I didn’t stay there I booked for a friend. They were very happy and the staff was very easy to deal with.
- 4/5
Great experience, only drawback, the sis of the bed. Should’ve been a queen, but felt like a full. Otherwise, great experience
- 5/5
We had a wonderful, peaceful time! It was great!
- 4/5
The electric in our room went out and they did upgrade us to a better room. They need someone who can respond quicker to an emergency.
- 5/5
Highly recommend this place
- 4/5
There are 3 buildings with one across the street from the other 2 and that’s where the pool is. The pool is nice & quiet as well. For the price it’s spot on value for money 😊
- 5/5
My wife is disabled and frequently housebound. We needed an escape from those four walls, and this was perfect. After check-in, no one bothered us. At all. We extended an extra night... it was awesome.. we will be back. Often.
- 5/5
Would definitely come back.
- 5/5
Amazing staff
- 4/5
The cottage design and patios lent a relaxed atmosphere. The pool and deck with chaises was very clean and had a few floats. A Target and CVS and other stores as well as a coffee bistro were within 2 blocks walking distance within the neighborhood. The queen bed was quite comfy and there are room ACs and TVs in the bedroom and living room. The kitchen was complete with silverware, cookware, coffee maker, etc. Parking is free and easily accessible. The only negative was that the property’s WiFi could not be accessed in the suite.
- 3/5
I booked for only one night because I was traveling through the area. I wouldn't book like for a long vacation because it seems like it's best for low budget travelers or truckers, etc.
- 1/5
Not enough
- 5/5
Awesome little place. Don't expect big chain hotel equivalent. But thats what I liked about it. Okd fashioned but moderned enough. Thenpool area is very home vibe. Will for sure make this a normal spot.
- 5/5
Beautiful place. access to patio tables and bbq.
- 5/5
Great location (walking distance to the Mai Kai). Our 2bd/2ba room had a kitchen and was big enough for the whole family. The AC units were a bit noisier than I would have liked, but the room was clean and the staff friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
Convenient for local restaurants
- 5/5
Highly recommend. Clean, cozy, simple, convenient and well looked after.
- 5/5
The staff are always very nice and respectful. The property is always quiet and a nice warm and inviting place to go stay for vacation or for a business trip.
- 5/5
The only downfall is that the pool is not cleaned and kept up with.
- 5/5
This has to be the most quietest motel I have everst
- 5/5
Very clean. Beautiful room. I would go back soon .
- 5/5
Stayed here for the third year in a row for a local event. I will be back next year for 4th a handful of us will be booking rooms. We hype it up every year!
- 4/5
Hotel room easy to find
- 5/5
Stay here whenever I heads to the area. Owners and staff are super and rooms are always nice !
- 4/5
The pool needed to be cleaned and it wasn’t as well maintained as the first time we stayed there. The water pressure isn’t the greatest as well.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the vibe. A small intimate space.
- 5/5
Restaurants Quiet neighborhood Great to go for walks ect Highly recommended this place
- 4/5
Good location, close to the beach and restaurants. The room was clean but could use some updating. Housekeeping is by request, but when I requested service, no one came.
- 5/5
It was very nice place to stay. When we first checked in and went to our room, the toilet had pee and toilet paper in it so it wasn’t cleaned properly when we got there but other than that everything else was really great.
- 5/5
Excellent communication, cleanliness
- 4/5
Nice place for a quick stop
- 5/5
4th time staying before my cruises and will continue to book stays. Very satusfied.
- 5/5
Great location. Some outside noise can be heard in room but it was manageable. Clean and easy. Breakfast restaurant next door is excellent. Stayed pre-cruise.

we were room 4. location was great staff was really nice. A little TLC and the place would be PERFECT
- 5/5
A lot of room for the price, and very friendly staff.
- 5/5
The room was small and the a/c was noisy but still good value
- 5/5
Great stay quiet and close to everything
- 5/5
Property, staff and owners are fantastic. I usually stay here unless plans call for another option. Will always be my first choice as the area is quiet, but close to several restaurants and shopping choices.
- 5/5
We appreciated the early check in, the unit is very clean, all unit info clearly outlined in welcome guide (WiFi network, property rules, area info, etc.), comfortable bed, great a/c, plenty hot water and very quiet. We did not have time to take advantage of the pool across the street. This small complex is a rare jewel within the crazy Ft. Lauderdale area. We will definitely try to stay here in the future.

All stuff in the room

Gem by in the heart b of Fort Lauderdale

The property is nice it just was not for free. You need a car to stay here. I usually stay beach front near the Bamboo Tiki Bars but decided to try this thinking it was close the the Island Bars and restaurants I like to go to at night. It looked very close but was a bit of a hike.Nice place but will go back to my original hotel where I can change after going to the beach. Be nice if they offered bikes. Vending machines a nice touch. .

Small but nice

This little inn is great for visiting family in the area. It’s close to restaurants and Rt. 1. Rooms are clean and nice despite the age of the inn.

A one bedroom apartment with a decent kitchen. Though I didn’t need to cook this time, I will book for the winter.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and well kept there are only minor things to complain about with this hotel such as walking into a 85 degree room because noone turned the ac on prior to our arival but over all would highly recommend this hotel and stay again

Enjoyed our stay. Could use a little more attention to there landscape. Need to replace some dead shrubs and potted plants.

Rooms were much bigger than I expected. Everything was clean and ready. Front desk staff was super friendly. Very nice stay. Thank you!

This resort is very inviting. The outside sitting area is very quaint, and the pool across the street was very nice. (other side of a small street where they have more rooms, still very convenient), The room was small but had everything you could ask for, and very clean!! The only problem was that the bathroom in our room had a very unpleasant smell. We did not notice it right away, but by the 3rd and final day of our stay it was pretty bad. We should have let the staff know, but by that time it was after office hours and we were leaving very early the next morning to catch our flight home. I would definitely stay again if the opportunity were to arise, I would definitely mention the issue to the staff right away, and ask to be placed in a different room.

Excellent communication!

Great area for food and shopping... Mall is 3 min walk - and I mean 3 mins... I would definitely stay there again... Very clean and the owner is very nice.

Always a great stay

Cute hotel. Clean 1 br unit. Could smell how clean it was. Nice size kitchen. Didn't use it so i don't know how things worked. It was pleasant.

I only have one negative thing to say the bed was SO uncomfortable! But the property is absolutely beautiful. Great customer service. Definitely recommend.

Great place to stay.

Wonderful location, walking distance to the mall and to the beach, with restaurants nearby and a beautiful quiet pool. This boutique hotel was a relaxing oasis with all the conveniences and attention to details to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend.

We would return if we are in the area again

Stayed for 3 nights and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and friendly staff. The motel is nicely landscaped with a tropical feel. Even though it is close to a busy area but was a very quiet neighborhood. Easy walk for dining about a mile to the beach but easy walk. We highly recommend this property as a great value

There was a toaster there to use but we had to put it on the floor to use as the cord was too short. The bed was not comfortable nor were the pillows. The floors could use a good clean especially in around the baseboards the dirt build up looks terrible. The pool was nice too have and it was quiet no one else taking advantage of it.

Nice property as described.

Close to port Everglades and priced right! It’s next to a target store and there’s a great restaurant next door. Safe neighborhood!

We enjoyed a quick overnight stay at Casitas before heading to Key West. The suite was clean and comfy and the location was just a quick uber ride to a LBTS. Gary was easy to communicate with via text and phone. Thank you!
- 4/5
The location was perfect for us because we had reservations at the Mai Kai. It's in a quiet neighborhood unlike the congested hotels on the strip.
- 3/5
The property looks good and the management is good as well, but we couldn’t sleep my son and I because of how loud and noisy the fridge and the AC is. They should probably invest and update those two.
- 5/5
Beautiful place, clean, close to many restaurants and shopping. Great place to stay
- 4/5
Nothing fancy and room was small, but good value for the price. Good location as well.
- 4/5
Rooms have been updated the best they can and they have a really good shower and a nice tv. However, the rooms are just so small and have very little space to even open your suitcase. They’ve done their best but it’s just too cramped for us to stay there again. Disappointed that the pool was across the street and down a ways so that was inconvenient also. We asked for early check in and got it which was appreciated.

Everything was as expected

The other complaint I had was that the toilet barely flushed and even when it did the aftermath was a horrible smell that lasted all day. The same unimpressed desk clerk said he would go check it out. I think he did but honestly he never got back to me. I suspect it was a property wide sewage issue that even changing rooms wouldn’t have helped. I will go back to Fort Lauderdale but I will spend a little more for a better place.
- 4/5
The room chose use some updating, otherwise enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
They were very accommodating to our early arrival. The room was clean and we felt safe walking around the area. I would recommend staying here!

Good hotel in a very convenient location.

Quiety and reasonable.

I didn't want to write this review as I generally try to be a positive person, but I was let down by this property. It is showing its age having been built in the 1990s, the manager is not friendly, and the housekeeping was inconsistent. I will say it was quiet most nights which I appreciated. My room smelled like mold and the fan in the bathroom was not working properly as the humidity could not be cleared out in a timely fashion. The office has limited hours of 10am-5pm and I visited once during that period and no one was there and the office was locked. Again, I didn't want to write this review but this property needs a lot of work and I don't recommend staying here.

Second stay.

The Bed was hard as a rock. Very uncomfortable. Be squeekkd
- 4/5
They are a non-smoking property, yet a neighbor was outside smoking many times. Other than that, it was a great place!
- 5/5
Easily accessible to downtown shopping and tucked away at the same time. It was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We'll definitely be back!

Enjoyed our one-night stay. Comfy and well-appointed one bedroom. Clean and quiet.

Consistently wonderful
