Awesome stay quality price, recommend

Friendly staff, super cute and comfortable. Almost full size fridge, stove top, closets and nice bathroom. Great big pillows and comfortable bed. Chairs and umbrellas to borrow. Large sliding glass door and chairs to sit on outside, beach towels and laundry (downstairs-$) to use. Would definitely stay again. Also great , quiet, safe area. Easy walk to beach across the street.

A wonderful hidden gym! Excellent location right by the beach and accessible to many stores and restaurants. It was also conveniently walking distance to entertainment right up the street. The staff was also extremely nice and helpful. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

The location is perfect for walking to the beach or restaurants. Agnes and Richie were very helpful, thoughtful, happy and pleasant! The other vacationers were great. Nice heated pool and garden areas! Very clean and updated!

Almost didn’t want to write this review because it would help expose this hidden gem, but that would be selfish of me! From the start of our trip, the staff was exceptional. We had a late check in due to a late flight and they were able to set everything up ahead of time. The room was phenomenal, fully equip with a kitchenette, and patio door leading out to a quaint and beautiful veranda. The pool was warm and there was plenty of room to lounge, tan, or just enjoy the weather with company. Parking was easy and the location was amazing, literally a 4 minute walk to a smaller beach that didn’t make you feel like you were on top of people. Richie was so kind and professional and did an exceptional job navigating questions and anything that might have come up. Weronika was excellent at communicating and made sure our stay was exactly as described. I believe Agnes was also in communication with us and was very kind and helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough, it was perfect for our weekend getaway and didn’t break the bank. Very reasonably priced and again, great location! Nothing. Everything was exceptional!

The location was great. The guy who cleaned the pool made the environment a bit uncomfortable. I didn’t directly deal with him so I can’t say more on that.

The room is a 9, very nicely renovated and clean. Agnes is very nice and helpful. The exterior of the property needs a lot of work, about a 3 or 4. Run down and in need of updating. Apparently that will be happening in the next year.

The Green Island Inn was the perfect place for a quick get-away. The pool is nice, the grounds well maintained and the staff were very friendly. The area is nice and quiet yet close to shopping, the beach and dining. The room was immaculate and appeared to be recently renovated. We look forward to a return visit.

Beautiful room, super clean, and great staff.

This was the perfect boutique hotel in the perfect location. The beach is literally 5 mins away and the hotel had chairs plus umbrellas for their guests to use free of cost. The staff was very nice and helpful as to where to dine near the area they even had a binder in the office with options and coupons. This place is a hidden gem!!

Experience OLD FLORIDA in an upgraded facility that exceeds the value of any property along Fort Lauderdale Beach - Agnes (Gen. Mgr.) and Richie ( Property Mgr.) are top notch and go above and beyond to enhance your stay. This was my 12th stay in 7 years, and I will always look forward to the next stay, it is almost like staying with family. Treat them well and they will reciprocate - A hidden gem in a cluster of fake mines - CHECK THEM OUT !! After so many stays over so many years, I have still never had an issue at this property

Perfect location, staff were great. Our room was so cute and CLEAN! The pool area was well kept and so beautiful. They offered pool towels, floaties, bicycles to use, chairs to take to the beach! We only stayed one night prior to our cruise but I hope to come back and stay longer next time!

The property was very well kept! Super private and offered lots of extra essentials for those going to be beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful with our stay. I wish there was a full sized mirror. It was hard to see my outfits from the bathroom mirror.

I love the staff specially the front desk lady Agnes so sweet. This is my 2nd stay and there will be plenty more!!! That the tv couldn't go past 17 and my husband is hard of hearing.

Kitchen is fully equipped. Silverware, dishes, pots and pans, the whole 9 yards. The pool is warm and well kept. I suggest bringing bug spray, lots of plants in Fl = bugs. Beautiful rooms.

What a great stay! Reasonably priced and adorable. I really expected less given the price. I loved how modern the rooms were, but how vintage outside was. So close to the beach! It’s a must!

Two minute walk to the beach- a real gem of a hotel

Hidden gem! Room was beautiful and newly renovated. The exterior and pool could use some updating but it was clean and the staff was fantastic. It’s a great spot away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and spring breakers. It’s quiet and just a block from the beach. They even have chairs and umbrellas for you to use and bring to the beach. Publix and a couple of restaurants are within walking distance as well. Great experience and highly recommend. Thanks for the great stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Great location and newly renovated inside. The outside looks a bit run down, but the rooms are very new. Soap dish for the bathroom and a box of tissues would be the only two things I can think that need to be added. Maybe a dresser for the room and some decorations on the wall. Overall, a great place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, ultra modern, albeit a little small. Overall, a great stay. The per night cost is somewhat excessive. Other than that, it's a fantastic place!

When I arrived I was concerned. I’m a retired single lady and wasn’t sure this hotel was safe. There many who lived here. I thought there would be parties. When I found my room I was pleasantly surprised. The room was completely remodeled. There was a beautiful shower and a little kitchenette. The bed was wonderful. It was very quiet. The best hotel I’ve stayed at in awhile! I’ll definitely be back!

This property needs a lot of maintenance, landscaping, etc

A bit unusual to have limited office hours and to be asked to submit registration material in advance. Appreciated the ability to “check in” the day after we arrived, since we came when the office was closed.

The accommodations are very comfortable and relaxing. It is like being in a little oasis. The staff are nice and try to do their best as it relates to anything that you may need. Short walk to the beautiful beach.

A lovely little motel that exudes old Florida charm with many updated rooms. We had a room by the pool that was spacious and very clean. Cute landscaped pool area and a five minute walk to the beach! The area is upscale, quiet and safe. Staff was helpful and friendly. Off street parking. We will be back!

An affordable pretty option to the big square hotel chain . I loved the court yard and tropical plants in the entry. The design is charming with picket fence around my private patio. Pool was wonderful, my room was clean and comfortable . Nice kitchenette with fridge and stove, host offered beach chairs for me to take to the beach .. right across the road a 2 min walk.

I love this hotel. Small property, lovely clean pool. Our room was extremely clean and updated. We had the king suite which had a sofa and kitchen. It is situated away from the tourist crowds but walking distance to the beach and the water taxi stop.

Our room was updated, clean and quiet and the pool was well kept with lots of seating. The hotel is a 10 min walk from Walgreens, some great cafes and restaurants and the water taxi dock.

It was quiet and the staff was nice. The property needs some clean up and renovations. The are offers very little to do and to eat and the property in front of it is even more rundown.

The location is perfect, near the beach, near a convenience store, restaurants. Easy parking. The rooms are renovated, very beautiful and equipped with a full kitchen.

The staff were so kind and very accommodating! The location was a five minute walk to the beach and a ten minute walk from restaurants and stores! The bus stop nearby made it easy for public transportation. Would highly recommend for those who want a calm but fun experience in Fort Lauderdale!

I’m extremely picky about clean. I bring my own cleaning supplies when traveling. I didn’t use any of them. The room was spotless! Friendly and beautiful! We’ll book again soon!

I had told them multiple times that the toilet was not working and was not corrected. Not helpful when asking questions as a first time visitor to the area. Disinterested in anything other then checking me in and then then acted like it was an inconvenience.

The only small changes we would recommend are having a small table or luggage rack, more comfortable chairs to watch TV on and access to local live TV channels - most of the TV channels required a subscription which we didn’t have. It is possible to walk to a beach from here although we didn’t have time this visit. Would definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

We booked this as a cheaper option while waiting to get in our cruise, and by the time my husband and I left, we were trying to find excuses to come back and stay here. The room was updated, comfy, quiet, and the "neighbors" were very friendly! All the plants and gardens made it feel like a secret jungle paradise. :)

Many of the rooms have been updated but the quaint and nostalgic feel remains. Close to all . It has become one of our favorite places to stay in South Florida.

A very nice, older property that is well kept up and clean. Not fancy, but very comfortable. Very comfortable. A tremendous value given the location and facilities offered. Would definitely stay there again!

for the cost of room for 5 day the water pressure in the shower was very low and the bed mattress was broken down. Also the dead bolt would not lock and the washing machine area was in poor condition very unsafe.

You could tell that the owners really care about their property and guess. I would definitely stay there again!

We had an amazing stay at Green Island Inn! Perfect location, super clean, friendly staff...I could go on and on! Agnes was so kind and accommodating which made our trip so special. I can't wait to visit again!!

I loved this place, and can't wait to return! It was like a little slice of paradise. Quaint (meant as a compliment), easy walk to the beach, easy walk to restaurants and shops, but in a nice, quiet residential area. My room was lovely, with double glass doors looking out over the pool. Room had everything you need: fridge, cooktop, microwave, dishes and eating utensils, and a tea kettle! Always had hot water, comfy bed, hair dryer, roku tv. I don't know what else you could want or need! Some guests actually live there (lucky!) so it felt very homey to me. Also, bad behavior not tolerated...hooray! Don't come here if you're going to have a screaming match with your family late at night. You'll behave or be asked to leave. Bravo to the wonderful staff! Got exactly the restful and relaxing vacation I was hoping for.

Didn’t really dislike anything except some guests hogging pool for hours and talking loudly but not fault of property management and did not distract from a very pleasant stay. Already booked for next year.

This is a cozy modest inn in the midst of huge elegant high-rise resorts. Much more our style. The brick-lined front patio with plants & shade sail & strung lights was very welcoming. Our room was comfortable with 1 queen, dinette, and small kitchenette (quite well stocked with dishes, cookware, small appliances). Only complaint is that, though we texted as instructed for assistance…there was no response regarding the coffee pot which significantly leaked out water from the reservoir, nor the request for a hair dryer. There also was no instruction about taking out trash. Just new bags supplied each day. All that said, we would certainly consider a return visit. Thank you!
