The room did not have a bathtub although the photo of the room online indicated there was one. It was a handicapped room (which I did not want) and yet the outer door was extremely difficult to open so I cannot imagine how someone in a wheelchair would be able to navigate it.. On the plus side, the greeting was warm and friendly, there were plenty of free muffins and they gave 2 free bottles of water when you arrived. Overall it was a good experience with those few exceptions.

Got a king room with a love seat and love seat and ottoman were stain3d all over, had an expose socket on the floor under rhe a/c unit and doors WERE SO HARD TO OPEN AND CLOSE. You had to jerk down with both hands and asked front desk person about it and she said that's how all the doors are. Overall experience was a 3 out of 10.

Not a clean bathroom. Walls in the shower were dirty and even had hair. I also booked a room with sofa bed and it said for 4. They got me a room with no bed sofa. I was too tired to complain it was 11pm from a long day and a flight. Bed pillows were stained. I just was expecting more from a Marriott. This is the only Marriott Hotel that I have stood that wasn’t clean. Thank God it didn’t smell.

We checked in after a long hard day of travel and went to our room. I took my shoes off and immediately realized my socks were soaking wet because perhaps a third of the floor was! Even the bottom of the curtains were soaked. We were so tired that we just went to bed but it made getting ready the next morning hard too!

The lobby area is fine. Check-in went smoothly. The rooms are shabby, with headboard bolster covers that don’t even cover the foam inserts, worn furniture and tacky wall murals. When we called down to get extra pillows because the ones they gave us were so small, they did not answer, even though we called repeatedly. When we went down to get extra pillows from the front desk, they told us they only had one and gave it to us. We paid around $250 per night for these accommodations, so we do not think we got good value for our money.

Surprised to see such a nice place with the rate we got. The hotel was modern, clean, staff was friendly, Wi-Fi was strong, bed was comfortable, and A/C was cold. Good location as well, Will definitely stay here again. Oh yeah they charge $15.00 a day to park! Only downside to staying here.

Our reservation was for 5- 2 adults, 3 children. When we arrived to the room, there was a King bed and a sofa. We had to make the sofa bed. We then had to go downstairs because we couldn't get through on the phone, to ask the front desk for a cot. The receptionist didn't think that was possible, but luckily the manager said he'd bring one up. We then had to ask for sheets, a blanket and pillow for the cot. The sheets on the King bed were ratty and pilling, we found a bug on the bed, the pillow case had stains on it, there's no vent nor window in the bedroom, so there's a standing fan to use. For the price we paid, this was absolutely the most disappointing hotel experience we've had.

My room had a moldy smell to it. I did not eat the breakfast. I wasn’t sure if it was continental or I had to pay for the breakfast. It was never expressed to me and my husband. I didn’t like the placement of the hotel. there was nowhere to walk to. We had to order a Uber to dine out. I also did not like the $50 charge because it did not express that when I ordered the room through the Internet, so that was a shock when I was told I had to pay an additional $50. I also did not like the cost of water 345 dollars for a bottle of water is absurd. Would I ever stay at the hotel in Fort Lauderdale now because of the convenience was not where I would like to be when staying on vacation

The room needs upgrading. The ceiling is stained. The enamel on the toilet is peeling. There is no breakfast included. For $200 a night there could be some breakfast. The staff wasn’t very friendly. It was just a bad experience.

The staff we dealt with were very friendly and courteous. The hotel and our room however, was not as pleasant. There was a very strong odor of cleaning product throughout the hallways and our room. The toilet in our room was very hard to flush and the faucet in the bathroom would hardly move without a fight. While the room appeared to be clean, the odor just kind of ruined it all.

We got a last minute reservation because of the poor unclean condition of our previously booked nearby hotel, and everyone here was very welcoming, the room was spacious and clean, it was a nice breath of fresh air! The room was badly in need of repairs. Doors on cabinets were squeaking and loose on the hinges. Bathroom was also in need of attention as the shower wall tiles had yellow material on it and the metal holders were almost falling off. The hotel was full so no room change was available until the following day, but the room issues should have been addressed as they were very obvious deficiencies.

When I checked in the hotel, had a terrible odor of marijuana on all the floors and we decided due to that we were checking out the very next day instead of staying all the way till Sunday I called on Sunday because I did not get my deposit back and the person at the front desk said that oh you’ll get it in a week and I said I checked out on Thursday. Can you make sure I’m checked out and he insisted I was checked out yet he didn’t know my name. He didn’t know what room number I was in so I proceeded to tell him I wanted to verify that I was checked out and he said well you are I said OK well what room am I in and he goes well what’s your last name I said so you don’t know if I’m checked out if you don’t know what room I was in and he verified that I was in fact did not checked out so he had to check me out today. I have insurance on this we left because the marijuana smell was so bad. It was wafting into our room when I tried to talk to the staff about this when I was leaving, the woman just took my room number down and she said I will make sure you’re checked out and walked away from me. She didn’t even care to ask why we were checking out early. I was extremely disappointed in the whole situation.

My husband immediately called the front desk, but the promised maintenance crew never showed up, leaving us anxious and frustrated. When we reached out again, emphasizing the importance of security for our belongings, we were met with indifference and told the hotel was fully booked. This was profoundly disappointing, as we expected better consideration for our safety. In a desperate attempt to resolve the issue ourselves, my husband went downstairs to request a refund. To our surprise, shortly after, we were offered a room change, which contradicted the earlier claims of no availability. It was disheartening that it took such a drastic step for our concerns to finally be taken seriously. While a competent staff member eventually assisted us and offered a secure room, the initial mishandling of our situation was unacceptable. This entire ordeal raised serious concerns about the hotel’s communication and customer service. The discrepancies in information and the need for assertiveness to achieve a solution were discouraging. I will never book here again!

Front desk staff was rude and very unwelcoming! One of the reasons why I always come back to any Marriot is because of the amazing staff everywhere we’ve been! Unfortunately this property’s front desk staff need to be properly trained to welcome guests! A simple “Hello and welcome” is all you need to say. Awful, awful and never at the desk either. Last night we waited to ask about the breakfast for 2 we paid for… and No one came out… but they were there! Awful… I will never come back to this particular hotel. The installations are beautiful and well taken care of, it’s a shame the staff at the front desk is not doing their job.

The property was very clean, the staff was very respectful, but I was told by staff as well as Expedia Assistant that it would be a courtesy breakfast located in lobby and it wasn’t. very disappointed. The second person I spoke to at the hotel stated because I paid so little it wasn’t in the price that I paid “really”. Expedia needs to let people know who don’t travel. There will be $150 fee that the hotel will charge you in case of damages. Wi-Fi was only free to the people who booked with the hotel itself little disappointed . And every morning of my stay about 830 I received a phone call to go to the bistro to eat breakfast, which is not free woken up out of my sleep for that.

Check in process was a mess, the front desk employee seemed frazzled and she acted overwhelmed discussing a shortage in staff in front of her coworker. Claiming she would not be staying any longer than her posted shift regardless of customers waiting. The 1st room I got checked into, the A/C was broken and I had to go back to the front desk and request a switch to another room. From there I was told they may not be able to accommodate the request since they were over booked and the cleaning staff didn't show up to clean dirty rooms. Thankfully, a male front desk member volunteered to go ensure there would be a clean room and switched to a room one floor higher.

It's important to note that they do not accept cash, which may be inconvenient for some guests. Additionally, the rooms must be cleaned every day to ensure a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, the walls are quite thin, so I could hear the music from the neighbors, making it difficult to relax. Lastly, the cable service could use some improvement for a better entertainment experience.

The property was clean, updated from last time my wife and I had stayed back in 2004. Rooms were clean smelled wonderful and the bed was comfortable. The outside pool was inviting. Plenty of space to lounge around in lobby and outside near pool. A+++ 5 star Thank you.

Very nice place , i wish they didnt changed for a open parking, security kicks us out of the pool very rude , while many other will smoke mariguana in balcony and pool area , where was the security at that point , i had my teenager with me and the non stop yelling and smoking was insane , they couldn't go to the pool till they left the area , very annoying.

Great experience. The front desk employee was so professional and sweet. The palm trees on the walk towards the pool are pretty. The only tiny issue is that the bathroom fan in room 403 didn’t work. Other than that the hotel room was immaculate.

I forgot the wonderful woman that helped us there but she was absolutely amazing I believe she was Jamaican and I loved seeing her each time I would walk in and out of the hotel . The stay was 10/10 the room was nice and cold always and the service was a1

The team was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. My room was spotless, well-designed, and featured a comfortable bed that made for restful nights. The resort-style pool and well-equipped gym were fantastic. I also enjoyed relaxing in the lobby lounge and using the high-speed Wi-Fi.
