    The room was nice and cleaned. The location was excellent with plenty to do within less than 15 minutes. The covered parking space was convenient. I will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I visit Fort Lauderdale.

    Breakfast was enjoyable, and our waitress provided excellent service. She was attentive, courteous, and ensured that our group was well taken care of throughout our meal. However, we felt that the price of the breakfast was somewhat high considering the variety and selection offered. In addition, our interaction with the staff member who greeted and seated us was disappointing. While we understand that policies and procedures must be followed, we felt rushed when it came time to settle our bill. This was particularly frustrating since most of our group had already prepaid for breakfast as part of our room reservations and had coupons to present. Overall, the kindness and professionalism of our waitress positively impacted our experience, but improvements in the initial guest interaction and billing communication would help create a more welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for future guests.

    The elevator after the 5th floor is open so you can see a view as you go up and down. There is a nice open area on the 5th floor to sit and relax separate from the pool area. There is also a store and restaurant on the 5th floor which were so cute and I wasn't expecting it. We were close enough to the beach and Riverwalk in a short Uber ride. I will definitely be booking this hotel in the future when I have visitors coming down to Fort Lauderdale to visit.

    The parking is $20 a day extra and the parking lot guys thought I was picking someone up so they sent me to the wrong area, I had to do a crazy turn around as their shuttles were all parked there. Hotel is okay not like most (higher end) Crowne Plazas I've stayed at.

    All of the staff treated me well. Room was nice, big enough, bed was comfortable. I like the Fort Lauderdale airport. Easy to navigate. Food court pretty decent. Great Dunkin Donuts Food quality was sub par. Did not enjoy the pancakes. Need to steal a chef from IHOP. Bathroon was too small. Poor design. Door also was in the way of the toilet.The toilet blocked half of the shower and the door when open blocked the other half. Door bottom, too close to the floor. Did not pass over the towel to get out of the shower. Instead it crushed the towel up against the tub. Easy cost effective fix, the door to the bathroom should open into the room and not up against the shower. No fan in the bathroom, with door closed it fogged up the mirror. Not the fault of Crown Plaza directly, just the builder and architects poor design.

    Hotel had a wet smell to it. Dogs allowed in the resturant wasn't sure if it was the dog or the hotel. Rooms had damp smell as well. Guess it served its purpose just a stay for cruise the next day. More than that I would have left and asked for a refund.

    Two huge queen beds which were extremely comfortable. Very clean room. Excellent power shower. Pool very nice on the rooftop and got there in 5mims from airport in uber. Lady Manager on the reception desk was very efficient and friendly she looked into a pending transaction which went on my bank account twice and checked it was removed the day I left. The lady receptionist on arrival was abrupt and rude. It was late in the evening around 12 midnight. She did not welcome us nicely verbally or with a smile and everything was abrupt we asked. She was very Impatient as I was looking for my documents and kept Abruptly asking name, name. That’s not how I would want to be welcomed to a hotel.

    Front desk personnel was not helpful. They cared less about our situation. We asked them about a cab to the cruise port and they said use Lyft or Uber. We don’t use either as we aren’t members of either. My wife walks with a cane and he put us in the farthest part of the hotel. She could barely walk after a day on an airplane. Once in the room, the bed was 33” high, so she couldn’t make it up the bed and I could barely. She slept on the sofa. We will be writing to Holiday Inn Corporate about the mediocre service.

    Location Last year we stayed there and there was a broken elevator, well when there two elevators and only one is working for our entire stay. NOT GOOD. Fast forward to this year and only one of two elevators were working. The problem is on cruise day there’s a mad rush and no one there really cares. Horrible experience and TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Not good!!!!!! Totally unhappy and definitely would NEVER RECOMMEND….

    When we got to the room, it smells humid and the carpet was disgusting, it was sticky and dirty . The AC was not cooling as much and made a lot of noise. The pool needs a deep cleaning, you can see the black on the floor tiles . The gentleman working at the bar Kiki’s is either bored or doesn’t want to work And has 0 customer service , barely talks, not even Hello . I was not impressed and I don’t think I would stay at this property again and not cheap At all. I don’t understand how they could charge $600 plus for 2 nights !

    The hotel was great; however, getting the airport shuttle was an issue. We were not given the correct directions to catch the shuttle, and when we tried to call back to the hotel, we just got a busy signal. Also, the card reader on our room door stopped working, and we stood waiting in the hallway over 20 minutes for maintenance to fix it.

    The beds are elevated, so if you are short or need assistance, this is not the place for you. I am 5' 3" and it was difficult to climb into the bed. Seriously folks, it was a challenge! We will not go back for that reason.

    One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is the shuttle service connected with the hotel. They use All Stars Shuttle Service, and somehow they had us on board the cruise ship and eating lunch within about 35 minutes. Not just dropped off at the port — actually checked in, on the ship, and already eating. It felt like they had a secret shortcut. For a pre-cruise hotel stay, that was absolutely remarkable. The room decor was upscale and lovely, and both the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The restaurant on the 5th floor was excellent, with very good food and lots of choices. I would definitely eat there again. The only small improvement I would suggest is adding a few more grab-and-go food options in the lobby store, such as protein bars, protein drinks, hard-boiled eggs, cheese, or crackers, for travelers who just want something light before heading out. Overall, we appreciated the helpful staff, comfortable room, lovely decor, excellent restaurant, and especially the incredibly efficient cruise shuttle service. It made the start of our cruise feel easy and stress-free.

    The property is conveniently situated near the airport and cruise terminal. The hotel has a transportation company they recommend and is present in the covered entrance on your cruise day. The fee is extremely reasonable and they are very organized. We left the hotel and 20 minutes later we were in line at our cruise. Don’t use a expensive private chauffeur service, it’s a waste of money.

    Located near the airport and good parking (paid) near elevators. Clean rooms and good air conditioning. No view whatsoever, and it’s not near many restaurants within walking distance. If you need an hotel near the airport and a stress-free way airport experience then this works well . For a longer stay, I’d look elsewhere.

    Great hotel for a stop between a cruise and the airport. We arrived early and the room wasn’t ready, but the staff was very accommodating and stored our luggage while we enjoyed the 5th-floor restaurant. The room was modern, clean, spacious, and well equipped with a fridge, microwave, couch, and desk. The outdoor pool was nice for a sunny afternoon. Only downside was no in-room safe. Free airport shuttle was a big plus!

    Great location for arriving by air to join a Cruise.Plus good breakfast. The Beds were far too high for us. It was waist high for my wife who needed to climb up onto a foot stool to be able to get into bed which was ridiculous and basically a health hazard for our age group of over 75 years.

    Checkin was very easy- upon pulling into the garage we were allowed to park and check in before going up into the garage. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was conveniently located to the airport and the cruise port. One of our guests took the free shuttle from the airport which was great!     Very convenient location to the airport and Port Everglades. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We got our room early and that was a huge convenience. Rooms are spacious, beds are weirdly high -lol- but very comfortable. Parking on site is an extra charge but nothing crazy. If we ever cruise from FLL, will definitely stay at the Crowne Plaza.

    Requested 2 months in advance and again a week before for a room close to an elevator due to husbands mobility. Assigned a room 8 rooms away. Website states cruise terminal shuttle available ( surcharge may apply) when in fact the hotel DOES NOT arrange for terminal transportation. You are required to arrange for it your self. There are a lot of hotels who DO provide this service. Only 3 elevators available for the rooms, one was out of service. Reason we chose Crown Plaza. Not happy.

    Spent a fabulous day here before my cruise. Wonderful hotel and I stay here at least once or twice a year. Staff is so friendly and helpful, room lovely and modern and bed so comfortable! Big screen smart t.v. I had a meal at Kiki’s which is always delicious. Had a wonderful swim in the lovely pool. All in all a great day before my cruise.

    It was a great location and hotel to stay at in order to catch our 5am flight. It's very close to the airport. The room was nice and clean and very spacious. We got the room with 2 queens and a couch for all 5 of us. One elevator was broken so that was a little frustrating waiting a while for an elevator every time. Also, I would suggest venturing out for dinner. The "mexican" restaurant is not actually mexcian food and it is very expensive for mediocre food. I am regretting not driving out to eat near the water. We would have paid the same but gotten better food. At least the service was great at the restaurant. Beds were comfortable! Front desk was friendly as well. Parking was $20 for the night.

    Our stay was uneventful until we went to leave. Only one elevator was operating for the entire hotel. Almost all of those leaving were going to Port Everglades cruise terminal. The hotel knew of the elevator problem, yet even though there were staff available, no one came to assist people down the stairs with luggage - the one elevator was unable to handle the number of people leaving. My daughter managed to drag one suitcase down the stairs, then climbed back up to get me and other luggage. One man fell and scraped his arm. The lack of assistance was totally unacceptable, and I will never stay at the hotel again.

    The breakfast at Kiki’s restaurant is very expensive for what it offers. The buffet selection is similar to a standard Holiday Inn Express breakfast: vegetable omelet, scrambled eggs, pancakes, potatoes with onions, bacon, oatmeal, fruit, sliced bread, and jam. I have stayed at other hotels in Fort Lauderdale where this same menu was included in the room rate. There is no complimentary coffee in the lobby, which is usually standard at most hotels. There is also no onsite laundry facility. The beds are extremely tall. My 6-year-old had difficulty climbing up, and I had to stack luggage and place pillows to prevent a fall during the night. The toiletries (toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash) were poor quality with no recognizable brand. The TV was not a smart TV. There were no streaming apps like Netflix or Disney+, and no option to log into personal accounts. There are 11 floors, with guest rooms starting from the 6th floor. There are only two elevators, and one was broken for several days, causing long waits. Would I stay here again? No

    I contacted the hotel 1 week prior to arrival to get information on the shuttle service from the airport and to our cruise. We didn’t get a response until after we arrived at the hotel and check in. We spent money unnecessary $ on Uber because of this fact. The hotel also does not transfer guest any longer to the cruise ports, adding yet another transportation cost. If I would have know this, I would have booked another hotel that includes these transfers.

    Room was fine. Was hungry but thought that the restaurant options wasn't to our liking. We wanted just a sandwich or burger so had to order out. Morning breakfast was very nice compare to to other hotels that offer breakfast. Pool area was nice. Since we had two different confirmations for out stay (we added an extra day) we had to check out and recheck in. Also wasn't told that we needed to get another set of keys for our second night.The maid staff was told we were checking out after the first day day so luckily I encounter her in the hallway and told her that it was a mistake and we werent. I also told her that we didn't need a cleaning just a change of towels which I brought to her and she gave me clean ones. She wasn't the nicest person to deal with, but I understand that her job isn't the easiest.

    Room was great. Staff was hit or miss. Gentleman when i checked in on Thursday night was impressive and caring. Both Melissa and Laura were unhelpful and rude. One of them at 3pm on Friday had me on hold for 15 minutes , when i called from a different phone, they answered right away with no hold. Rude! Andres in the restaurant was impeccable 👌

    Crazy week with a lot of flight cancellations. This was the most reasonable one by the airport. Unfortunately their system crashed and there was about 20 people waiting to check in. They probably could have handle things a little better but we just went to their bar had a drink and snack until things cleared up. Bar was nice and good was good. Bartender was the best. No communication between the manager (front desk) - valet and bar/resturant. We are the ones that had to tell valet and bar/resturant the system was down. Room was nice but the bathroom wasn’t quite cleaned enough - at that point I was happy to have a bed. Would book here again.

    For the price, the room was as expected. The staff were helpful and able to provide amenities such as toothpaste and shaving kit. The parking is fairly priced but the initial check in system is a little convoluted. All said, this is one of the nicest Crowne Plazas I have been to recently. The place feels new and well maintained. I had a very restful night after dealing with flight cancellations.

    We were stranded recently and the Crowne Plaza was a great hotel. Efficient check in, friendly folks, clean, spacious room. There was a nice casual restaurant onsite, along with an outside patio with pool and a gym. We were happy to stay here

    I had booked through Expedia to include breakfast for two. The hotel disputed it even though I had physical proof via email. The woman at the front desk would not give us the breakfast vouchers and made us pay again. That is terrible customer service and makes me rethink where we stay in the future.

    Dirty room/bathroom. No towels at pool that closes really early. Expensive restaurant on site that is really slow and average tasting food. Website also Says they offer a complimentary cruise shuttle but all they do is give you the phone number for a company that charges you. Also airport shuttle is not available for all flights so don’t book an early morning departure.

    It started with realizing our room had a soaking wet carpet with puddles of what we thought was water but later proved to be something else. I called the manager who had no explanation or resolution and said maybe it was a broken pipe in our bathroom and told us we should be lucky that it wasn't coming through our ceiling because we were on the top floor. He could not move us because he claimed there was no other rooms available to us. He only put down a few towels that didn't even cover all the floor and the wetness kept spreading. He promised to come back with more towels and change the towels throughout our stay but never did despite us calling. As our stay continued the smell started and the air conditioner kept shutting off which amplified the stench. 5 of us slept in 2 beds to try and be as far away from the smell. I was constantly making sure that my kids didn't step on it or go barefoot and we had to jump around the room trying to avoid it as it was spreading to dry areas and seemed to be getting worse when we used the bathroom so we avoided using it as much as possible. we saw then the towels were soaking up was something yellow! I called the front desk again and was told they knew about the problem but they could do nothing to help me. Told me a different manager would contact me who never did despite calling again and texting and providing all my contact info. This place is truly a scam with horrible customer service and is a health code violation.

    Very disappointed in the shuttle service to the airport, we had 15 people they only have 11 spots per hour for a hotel that has 11 floors with who knows how many rooms per floor. So we had to order Ubers to the airport for an additional $25 times 3. They need to reword on their website and say they have limited shuttle service to the airport!! Called the Hyatt and they offer 24 hr Shuttle service to everyone staying at their hotel.

    Front desk people were very unprofessional many times not only to us but to other guests. They told people to their face and on guest service call that it wasn’t their problem and to take any issues at all up with management. “Management” had a language barrier. During a 3 night stay, I had to get new keys made 6 times, each time the front desk treated it unprofessionally, despite who was working. Twice the maintenance man had to let us in the door and make the keys himself, which was a public altercation between him and the front desk, who didn’t get along. There is no complimentary anything. Breakfast costs $20 pp and just to get coffee as well. The bar is suppose to stay open until 11 each night, according to signs and the front desk. Without warning, on New Years Eve, they made last call and literally told us we had to leave at 9:50pm. The sundry shop was extremely expensive also. There’s nowhere to walk to on the busy highways the hotel sits between. There’s nothing for kids to do except swim in a cold pool that closes at 6pm. Also our keys never worked the pool or exercise room. The bathroom on the first floor (front desk people) remained locked at all times, good thing there was a men’s room with just 1 stall on the 5th floor for emergencies. Not happy

    Rather than freezing in the hotel room we left the hotel ~11 PM and spend the night on chairs at the airport. A full refund, an apology and compensation are the minimum that should be offered. Expedia should also stop offering such facilities as bonafide accommodation.

    I'm not only disgusted with Crowne Plaza but also with hotels.com. My reservation was canceled before I ever even stepped in the door bc apparently the card on file was declined. So I get off my flight and I pay for an ride to go over to the hotel just to find out that my room is no longer available to me. Why wasn't I notified by hotels.com and why wasn't I notified by Crowne plaza either? This was a situation that could have been resolved had someone contacted me prior to getting to the hotel. Instead I was left to sit outside for 2 hours while I tried to find somewhere to stay for the night. I ended up getting an Uber back to the hotel and sleeping near baggage claim

    This is one of my favorite hotels when I travel to FLL. From the parking attendant to the front desk personnel, professionalism is sensed from everyone that works here. The rooms are SUPER quiet. I always reserve a king bed and it is one of the most comfortable beds. This feels like a 5 star hotel. The pool and work out gym are both awesome.

    We booked this hotel because they claim to offer a free shuttle to the airport. Even though I called ahead of time to reserve our spot, the shuttle took 30 minutes just to show up AND THEN could not take us because it did not have room for us. We had to wait another 45 minutes before they returned. The staff we talked to over the phone and the staff at the check in desk made it clear they really did not care that the shuttle took over an hour just to pick us up. They should not claim to offer a free shuttle service if the service is so bad. We will not be booking there ever again.

    Shuttle was chaotic and crowded. We passed on breakfast, too busy.in truth, we made other arrangements.Room was clean, bur hallway had a lot of debris. Staff were not overly helpful and I had to get their attention, otherwise I don’t know how long they’d let me stand there. The dinner was very overpriced and two drinks cost us another $30. I got stuck in an elevator, the doors would not open and I had to ride it to the next stop which was 3 floors above. Ultimately, l ended up walking 3 flights down. I reported it and staff allowed others to get on it, still. We ended ip using the service elevator to get to the ground gloor. Catching the shuttle to port was another chaotic cluster.

    We had to wait a while for the airport shuttle, but once Cataleya arrived, she was awesome!! Lucretia and Melissa was welcoming when we first arrived in the hotel. Lucretia checked us in, was very informative of the activities in Fort Lauderdale and gave us a pamphlet for the water taxi. My room was clean and bright. We were hungry after arriving, we went to Kiki's on the 5th floor. Had an amazing lunch! The next day we had a amazing breakfast, the service was spectacular, and our room was cleaned each time we left for the day. I forget to leave a tip for housekeeping on my bed when I was leaving. I will return to the Crown Plaza Hotel in Fort Lauderdale when I return. I just want to THANK EVERYONE for the great experience for my first time visiting Fort Lauderdale, Florida!!! I will return.

    Very close to cruise port,and a shuttle picks you up for a fee. You can leave your car for a fee but its comparable to cruise port.bed was comfortable and room was clean

    The staff seemed stressed and as we checked in, a customer begin complaining about stay loudly. There were no snack machines and all food sources were closed wben we arrived at 10:30pm. We would have appreciated a bar or at leasr machine. All.else was fine.

    Broken hotel lock. Maintenance came to fix it past midnight. Manager was empathetic to unscheduled 3 am call despite arriving on a flight from across the country. His personal misery transcended to hotel guests. Elevators had occasional maintenance issues. Brown water coffee in the entire hotel. The only cheerful employee is the senior valet gentleman.

    Close to the airport and cruise port. Room was immaculate, the restaurant and bar was great. Even though it was a Mexican restaurant they had many other delicious choices. Our bartender was also our waiter, he was very attentive and efficient as well as very personable. Great place to stay before a cruise!

    The property is very close to the ports if you’re going on a cruise. I’m definitely coming back. The only thing that frustrated me is that, I put 3 people are going to be in the room. They only gave me 2 wash clothes, but 4 hand clothes and 4 towels.

    What a wonderful hotel to stay in for the night before getting on an early morning flight it was fantastic to be able to take the shuttle directly from the hotel to the Fort Lauderdale airport with all of our luggage and to be able to park our car long-term there for when we got off our cruise from Europe

    I think this was the most comfortable bed that we've ever had in a hotel! We were on the 10th floor and it was very quiet. Check in was fast and the restaurant stays open late. We really appreciated that since our flight was delayed an hour and a half.

    Water pressure in shower fluctuates wildly during use, and even shut off completely at one point. Every light in the room is a bright-white LED. Cheap for the hotel to buy, annoying for the guest because your room feels like a hospital. One of the nights I stayed was $300/night, not worth it for this. Bar served me an embarrassingly bad cocktail. Hotel isn’t walkable to anywhere.
