I couldn't get a checking text or email the day I was leaving. The contact number took me to a particularly useless AI bot. It showed up 1 hr before arrival, and there is no checkin personnel on site. The access road was closed, so I had to walk through a construction zone to get there. A guy was outside, because there was a rat in his room. My room was rat free, but there was hair on the towels, the plumbing was odd, and the bed was incredibly soft. It was cheap, the pictures looked nice, and had good reviews, but the experience was not great.

Clean room. Quiet stay. No pool. Lots of street construction making it a little tricky to get to.

Automatic check in and out, didn’t have to speak with staff for anything. Whole process was easy. Only issue was construction around property which made it difficult for Uber and Lyft drivers to find easy access to the property. Just had them pickup and drop us at the Starbucks next door.

The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. I only stayed for one night but wished I had more time, as it would be a wonderful place to spend a few days. The grounds and garden were beautiful—I absolutely loved them. Bonus points for the cat!

Location is great and the rooms are nice and clean. A good value. Unfortunately, for my stay they were doing construction on the roads in front of the hotel and made it very difficult coming and going. Once the construction is complete it should be fine.

I so wanted to like this hotel after reading all the positive reviews, unfortunately, I didn’t. They definitely did not change my sheets. I found black straight hair in my bed when I woke up and a dead ant. I have blond curly hair. Unfortunately, I was so tired that I did not notice when I got into the bed after midnight. It was pretty upsetting to know I slept on dirty sheets. Also, the hotel is on a noisy intersection and my room was in the front, so I could hear the traffic.

Hotel was misrepresented in outside and interiors. Couch was trrrible. Could not see tv from bed, pricing was deceiving based on quality and condition of room. Finding room was not easy.

Quirky unusual hotel with a beautiful courtyard, a Starbucks just across the road, and a 10 minute ride to the cruise terminal. Great for something a little different from big chain hotels.

I loved EVERYTHING about the property. You can tell they gave every detail a ton of thought m. nothing. Having breakfast available would put it over the edge of excellence, but the full size fridge and everything else made it amazing.

This worked perfect for my short stay and need of a neat place to crash at for 2 nights. I didn't have any issues. There was one night that the next door tenants could be clearly heard through the wall that separated both rooms. Thank God they quieted by midnight and I could sleep. But overall this was a pleasant stay. I definitely will reserve again, when I come back.

I have stayed here several times. It is usually cleaner . I liked the new key pads with codes to enter the rooms Floors were not very clean. The lighting was very poor outside the room which made using the keypad difficult.

This is a great little stop if you are heading to the cruise terminal. We drove from Massachusetts to Ft Lauderdale and the Oasis Hotel was a perfect 1 night stay so we could easily get to the port the next morning. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful! The room is small, clean and everything worked fine. Starbucks right next door to walk to for breakfast. Loved the seamless check in/ out.

Self-checkin was simple and fast once I understood that this was what I was doing. Parking was very convenient and free. Not always true in this part of Florida. The room was clean, very functional. I liked the tiling in the bathroom. Nice touch. The hotel was close enough to downtown Ft. Lauderdale that I ended up walking. The price was very competitive.

We loved the courtyard area! The grounds were so beautiful and well maintained. Loved sitting out there with family and relaxing! Room 14 was just perfect for our needs. Great place to gather with family and Uber to the port for our cruise. My name was backwards on my reservation. I called and was assured all was ok for my arrival.

The staff was very accommodating our early arrival. The room was very clean with a mini fridge and microwave. The grounds were very tropical and maintained. This was a hidden gem I would highly recommend and stay again.

The room served the purpose for the price, but don't expect too much. Easy code access and helpful staff with a small issue but no real amenities which is fine for $100, but not $175. Likely would not stay again but it was the must inexpensive way to stay this trip. Will plan better in the future

Convenient location close to the airport and Bimini ferry. Walking distance to restaurants. Pretty good neighborhood. Room deodorizer was overused, giving a perfume a smell that was hard to suppress.

The courtyard was divine Our toilet backed up, and there was no one there to repair it. In addition, no one responded to emails texts or calls to the number provided in the event we needed anything.

Bed was very comfortable and staff helpful when we wanted to drop off our luggage early before checking in. A few oddities: Had to unplug the microwave to use the coffee machine, but the coffee was good. Unlike most other hotels, there was no conditioner in the shower (only shampoo and body wash), and the toilet paper was rough. However, towels and bedding were clean (we slept well!!), and the courtyard area was lovely. It is walking distance — 10-15 minutes — to several restaurants and a beautiful cemetery. Didn’t love having to walk along A1A to get most places. Plan to take an Uber/Lyft to most places if you don’t want to walk a lot.

The place was easy to find and enter. The room was basic and met our needs for our one night prior to our flight. While mostly clean, I found little hairs on the bed, towels and in the bathroom. There was also a smell as if someone had smoked in room even though it was non-smoking. Walking distance from lots of food options. It worked well for our 12 hours in Ft Lauderdale. I was traveling with my 5 and 7 year old.

If you’re looking for a clean, inexpensive place to stay ahead of your cruise that has some charm to it, this could be the place for you. Automated check-in and out, nearby restaurants and close to both the cruise port and the airport make this an easy choice. The resident cat that roams the courtyard is a nice add to your stay, along with the tiny lizards who guard the courtyard. I’d stay here again!

The virtual staff were nice enough but I was not comfortable with the level of cleanliness of our room. I took the reservation because of the 9 & 10 star reviews and the affordable price but the hotel was not at all 9 & 10 stars. Was uncomfortably adequate. I would not stay there again.

Everything about Oasis was perfect, very clean, quiet, front desk staff was very helpful. We loved it so much we extended our check out and they were so accommodating. My parents were visiting and we needed a last minute stay since their flight was canceled. We were extremely happy with the restful atmosphere.

Stay away from room 6. It is an accessible room ( though we never asked or required it). The room was the only one that was not within the security gates and the door opened right into the parking lot. I did not feel safe at all. We spoke with the man at the check in desk to request a room change and he said it wasn’t possible. The room was clean enough for 1 night , if you closed your eyes , but good luck sleeping with the large ice maker against the paper thin wall of the head board. When it started up ( every half hour approximately) it sounded like a helicopter landing in our room. Traffic , non stop cars coming and going, and no security allowed us no sleep. Stay away !

Overall, the property was nice, close to the cruise port, and the staff was very helpful. However, the room wasn’t cleaned well. Only stayed in the room a few hours so we were able to manage.

The room was clean and comfortable. It is a basic room; no extra frills, but very nice and comfortable outdoor patio area to sit and relax.

The room was very small and there wasn’t much in amenities and no pool ! I had a lot of problems with the keyless entrance having to remember your door code and gate code to get in . I will not be returning to this property. I could have stayed at a nice Hilton for that money !

They happily held onto our luggage while we explored the area both before check-in and after check-out without any hesitation, which made things so convenient for us. One of the highlights was the beautiful garden on the property. It featured an elaborate water fountain, lots of seating areas, and gorgeous plants throughout. It was such a peaceful place to sit and relax. The property also felt very safe, with multiple secured gates requiring access codes and large fences bordering the grounds. The area around the hotel was quaint and elegant, with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The beach was also very close—about a 5–10 minute drive or a lovely 30-minute walk. There’s also a Starbucks and a Walgreens conveniently located right across the street. A particularly charming detail was the very cute cat that lives on the hotel grounds and roams around the garden area—it definitely added to the character of the place. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would absolutely come back.

The area is rather dark older area. There was a pizza place a few blocks away. No customers. Kind of a run down area. The motel is very old but has been renovated. Very clean. Lots of security locks. Great for overnight.

We stayed on the coldest day of the year and the best didn’t work. Spoke to another guest the next morning and their heat didn’t work either. Well kept grounds and clean but very small bathroom and shower. Noise from sirens and fast cars all night long.

Room smelled strongly of disinfectant - had to leave windows and doors open. For that price, it was disappointing.

There was a strong artificial chemical odor in the room, barely warm water and the shower drain gurgled when the sink was turned on, therefore we did not shower. The bed was lumpy. Despite texting and email the contact numbers we did not get a response until after we checked out the next day. I was not aware of the total contactless situation when we booked. It would have been nice to know as we were arriving “after hours”. Will not book here again.

Our room was very clean all the amenities listed were available. The only issue was there was very slow water pressure to take a shower. The room was ready at 3pm as promised. The hotel was in good vicinity to food and pharmacy stores. Great location to stay for an overnight to a cruise out of Port Everglades.

This is a perfect spot for overnighting before your cruise or flight. Gaining entry was easy and well explained in several messages via text and email. Only down side was our fridge was leaking i think from the freezer, but nothing that wasn’t manageable. Would definitely recommend for a quick over night or two day stop.

I’m impressed by how well Kemp the hotel grounds were. Beautiful plants everywhere. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. I’ve stayed here often when I’m in Fort Lauderdale.

The room was very small and basic, but clean and the bed was comfortable. The property grounds really make this place stand apart. The touchless check in and onsite parking was perfect for our layover stay. We were walking distance for dinner the night the stayed and for coffee the next morning. Lovely little motel style stay aptly named as it has a lovely large garden/patio attached. Also there is a wonderful Italian restaurant across the street.

For the price point, Oasis is a good pick. The room wasn't exactly spotless when we got in, but they let us get into the room early and have a great courtyard to hang out in.

The place was cute, only there on a layover, able to walk to Walgreens for a few items, ate at a local Brewery Tap 42, and it was delicious, and Layla was great.

This an Excellent hotel in a low key setting! It is clean with a full list of amenities. The room is ic good condition with everything works perfectly. The whole hotel runs smoothly. Will certainly come back and recommend it to friends!

Upoqn checking into the room, there was mouse feces on the shelves where the extra blankets in the closet were located .We woke up to a cockroach running across the floor at the end of our bed. We were told that we would be reimbursed for the situation and they're still not heard back from the manager of the property.

The price was good and slightly cheaper than other large chain hotels in the area, so good to save a little money. The courtyard was beautiful with lots of cool and unique plants and flowers. The AC unit in our room did have a little ticking sound but eventually got used to it. There was some dirt in the sheets under the comforter, which you never like to see. But I do think the sheets were changed and cleaned, just ended up there somehow. 4/5 for us

The only call out about the property is the asphalt is painted black and there’s several raised areas that don’t stick out both on the path and around the office because they’re also dark black. We both tripped several times on them. Once we knew they were there we proceeded with caution but painting them a different color may help guests from tripping/falling. Other than that all was great outside.

This place was not what we expected. Such an awesome little “Oasis” in the city. Courtyard was amazing. Felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel. We will definitely stay again when in the Ft. Lauderdale area. The only complaint would be no fan in the bathroom and fairly thin walls, but didn’t bother us. Parking can be somewhat tight if you have a larger vehicle. The rest of the property made up for any shortcomings.

The hotel was clean and welcoming. They do a self service checkin which I am not used to, but it was actually very easy. If you decide to stay here, definitely check out the garden, and tell Mel the cat hi for me.

I stay here often. It is a wonderful spot, with individual rooms (not a high rise hotel). The staff is always friendly. They streamlined the check in and check out process recently, so my perfect get away became even better.

The motel wouldn’t offer me a partial refund for leaving several nights early. Also, there was very loud construction work going on right outside the rooms starting early in the morning and lasting all day. Nice outside decor and rooms were fine but I would not return to this establishment. Poor customer service.

This room has everything you need. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, clean and fresh. The air conditioning was excellent and the remote control easy to use. It also was secure and the parking is in front of of the rooms. We recommend this hotel to anyone.

Was a little tough to find, but all the communications they sent kept me on track. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my one night at the Oasis. I arrived quite early in the morning but Chris was very accommodating and worked to find me a room well before normal check-in. While I waited, I worked in a quiet courtyard with a picnic bench and a nice umbrella. Very relaxing. There was even a resident cat keeping me company. The grounds are quite well maintained and the rooms are clean and also up to date. Recommended!

Oasis Motel nice and easy drive to dining options and beach. However, our room had a major leak from the ac wall unit that we didn't discover until late into the evening forcing us to put towels down on the floor. Unable to report til following morning.

This was a cute little property and it literally felt like an oasis in the middle of the bustling city of Ft. Lauderdale. We needed a place to crash in between key west and a cruise and it was perfect. There was a Jimmy Johns across the street that we ordered delivery from and a Starbucks next door. Down the street was an incredible breakfast place called Hatch that was amazing and a must do! The only problem is the office closes early and doesn’t respond to texts. My friend left her phone in a cab and couldn’t get the code to her room after an 8:15pm checkin.

We arrived after checkin and had a gate code for the property as well as a room code. Very dark and took several tries to access the property. Other guests experiencing same issue and not all rooms were accessible by same gate. Frustrating end to a tiring travel day.

I really love the location it is beautiful. If you love nature you are going to love love this location it has all types of plants and native insects.It’s a get away but still close to the beach, airport and freeways.

Man in office was very helpful and he is good guy. Room was clean and cold, AC works perfect. Thank you for stay

Hotel is nothing fancy. We just needed a place to sleep for one night before our cruise. Beds were comfortable. Very noisy area. Priced a little high for what you get in my opinion. No breakfast offered. I probably won’t stay here again.

Very nice people running the hotel, arrived back from our cruise very early in the morning but our check in wasn't until 3PM but the front desk allowed us to to check in early with a small fee. Excellent service!

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice shower. The staff was great and the outside common areas are very nice! On a very busy street so lots of traffic noise and no real food options in walkable distance (we took a Uber to a nearby restaurant for less than $10 each way) but there is a nice Starbucks and Walgreens just across the street.

Location was very convenient to Fort Lauderdale airport! Also very quiet and clean. Loved the garden trail

Perfect place for a stay prior to flying out. Nice staff, very clean and security gates made me feel very safe as a woman traveling alone. Some guests were smokers so it diminished enjoyment of outdoor area slightly, yet not the hotels issue at all. I will be back for sure.

Overnight before a cruise ... quick uber to the port and met our needs. Make sure you let them know if you are arriving after 8:00!

Chose this hotel based on a recommendation and it didn't disappoint, really enjoyed it! Doesn't look like much when you pull up, but it's really cute....loved the little courtyard area full of plants and seating areas. My room was spotlessly clean, the AC works GREAT (thank you Jesus, that is a dealbreaker for me), and it's in a safe area of town that is close to airport and close to convention center....I was here for business. I'd give it 5 stars across the board except for the fact that it's not close to any activities or restaurants (although Starbucks is across the street...a plus!), nothing around in a walkable distance, so this is a better fit for a trip with a rental car, or for a family that has planned activities elsewhere in Ft Lauderdale. Also it's a very small hotel so there is no bell service and you won't see staff much....I didn't have any problems so this may not be an issue, but it's just different from what I'm used to. Overall, I highly recommend this gem of a place....affordable and super cute!

Everything was perfect, especially the garden.

Super clean and tidy. Small room but as much as the two of us needed. Very comfortable bed.

We stayed here just for one night, but so worth it. Plan to return every time we pass through Fort Lauderdale.

Pros: price!!! Large suite, mini kitchen, location Cons: no paper towels, bathroom was a bit rough, sleeper sofa wasn’t comfortable (but are they ever?) Overall, it was a nice stay. Easy check in and out. Great communication. You can’t beat the price for a quick overnight.

All i wanted

This was a perfect place to stay for one night before heading out on our cruise. Bed was comfortable, nice courtyard to sit and relax, price was reasonable. I would stay there again.

This place is NOT a hotel. Its a motel. The room they gave us was in front of the secured gates. We didn't fell safe staying in this room.

Quiet and beautiful environment, we check-in earlier at 1pm. Hot/cold water available. Room is clean and nice, willing to come back. Starbucks cross street.

Priced well. Near Port Everglades. Beautiful gardens. Walkable to an excellent Italian restaurant.

This property has a nice enclosed patio. Other than that our room was small and furnishings were just ok.
