Overall good I would come back

The room was lovely and very spacious. We had a very nice view and the staff were very helpful and friendly with our queries. The location was perfect and it wasn't right in the middle of it all but still all relatively within a 10 to 15 minute walk. Just take a bike from the lobby if you don't feel like walking much, it was perfect. There wasn't really anything to report so all n/a.

Location, breakfast Our room was not cleaned adequately. The bed was re-made, but dirty dishes were left in the sink, trash not emptied, and generally left messy.

Perfect location to stay in Fort Lauderdale. Perfect view of the beach and ocean with the sounds of the wave coming in. Rooms are very large and kept clean everyday. Would definitely stay here again.

Always a great hotel to stay at. The room floors though don't have icemakers so you have to go to the restaurant bar on the first floor and they'll provide you with a bag of ice. Also found it quite strange that the one broadcast channel that they don't carry on their Tv's is ABC. I was really wanting to watch one of the Stanley Cup games and was not able to, which was very disappointing. Great hotel for the most part.

As is the way now our room was not cleaned everyday but the beds were made & our dirty towels were changed out. The beach amenities were great...a chair, bottle of water & as many beach towels as we needed were provided daily. There was a beach bar offering both alcohol & nonalcohol drinks on the Atlantic beach. Drinks could be charged to the room so we could leave our money & cc in the room. We could also order food from the hotel restaurant to be delivered to us on the beach. One small suggestion...maybe offer snacks (chips, candy bars, etc) at the bar. The hotel restaurant was very good.

The food of restaurant is excellent and service was very good. Price is very high and noise from adjacent room.

This hotel is great. We had the suite with king bed and city view for the family of 4, and it was literally enormous. So spacious and full of light. The breakfast package deal was also totally worth it. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. The beach is across the street, and is also clean. If we come back to Fort Lauderdale, we will definitely stay here again!

Service at the hotel needs overhaul. Just a few items to note. Upon check in, front desk staff very unfriendly. Went to the roof top pool. One of the umbrellas flew out of the stand due to wind and almost took out my wife. Had to run over to her and help then tried to put the umbrella back in the stand. Pool staff just looking behind the bar. Guy came over and helped me secure it back in. Got up next day to get coffee downstairs. No coffee to be found. Sign at front desk stated staff is taking a break and will be back in 5 minutes. Left for Starbucks with the help of the outdoor valet who was extremely helpful and nice. Best at property. Came back to talk to the valet after 30 minutes. Sign was still up at front desk which I am guess the front desk person was taking a long nap or on the phone. Mr or Mrs. GM - I know its tough to find good help, but your hotel won't last long with the service and staff operating accordingly.

Location and the view The bed wasn’t comfortable, A/C wasn’t functioning properly, trying to operate the hot tub was confusing. Would recommend having a lock on the bedroom door and a recliner or two in the room.

At Check-out there were all sorts of extra charges for the room, breakfast, resort fees plus taxes. They tried to scam us for extra monies that we paid to Bookling.com. No stories matched when questioned about the extra charges, we asked to talk to the manager of the hotel; we were told they were in meetings. We gave them two hours to adjust the bill, they finally did prior to check out. But we were not alone is the hotel trying to scam other vacationers. Plus there were bugs! Staff at the front desk, a manager available.

The hotel adds unwarranted charges to guests’ bills at the end of their stay. Be vigilant and review every charge carefully. My family and I booked a six-night stay through Booking.com, which included a daily breakfast credit of $28.75. At checkout, we were charged for breakfast each day despite staying within the allotted credit limit. It was extremely difficult to have those charges removed. Additionally, the hotel charged us a nightly resort fee that was already included in the total rate we paid through Booking.com. While we were disputing these charges, several other guests were lining up to complain about similar billing issues. Based on what I witnessed, this appears to be a common practice at this hotel. As for cleanliness, the hotel was not clean and is extremely outdated. There was vomit on the bathroom door, and the bedroom smelled like vomit, likely from a previous guest who had stayed in the room. I would strongly recommend reviewing your final bill carefully before leaving the property. Lastly, the front desk staff is extremely rude.

Staff was super helpful at check-in and gave us a VIP perk for booking a week at the resort! Rooms were spacious,clean and comfortable! Oceanfront views breathtaking!

Not the greatest

There are very few amenities. The resort is not that great. Our toliet was broken the entire time. The valet cost is ridiculous. I think for the price they charge there are SO MANY other options on Ft. Lauderdale beach that are much more worth it. Truly I found nothing impressive. The only thing I thought was nice was our balcony over looking the ocean. You have to get the ocean front room for this though. Besides the broken toilet the room was not too bad, it was spacious and clean and did have a kitchen area. The shower was not pleasant the door opens the wrong way and its not a nice shower. No access to steam room or jacuzzi, very misleading, you have to pay $50 per person. They only give you 2 beach chairs even if you have a kid in the room. The towels are old. The pool is pretty as you can see the ocean from pool deck. The location is ok but you have about 3/4 mile walk to the main section of the beach with all the restaurants and shops etc. There are only 2 elevators that run extremely slow. You have to add about 10 mins to your travel time wherever you go even if its just to their pool deck. We waited on average a minimum of 5+ mins for an elevator. Overall I would say this hotel is below average and way overpriced for what you get.

We booked this resort, thinking it was on the beach listed as a resort and Spa and from the photos it looked like it would be pristine however, when we got there, you could tell it was a little older and more rundown. There are a lot of fees on top of the room so you pay for a more expensive hotel room and you also will have $45 a day resort fee on top of that and then $55 fees for valet as there is no parking other than that. I think with the amount of money they charge you for all the extras they could be able to spend the money to keep that hotel updated and looking pristine but let it go. They do let pets in the rooms and it was very obvious that our carpet had a poop stain on it that just was not cleaned properly so you could still see it which was upsetting. the patio door was hard to open only my husband could open it- which they did address once I asked them to fix, the remote was not working and had dead batteries, the elevator did not work and only 1 was running. Paying this amount of money you’d think they had things taken care of. they advertise soundproof rooms however you can hear people in the other room beside you through the adjoining doors and the worst was I could hear whoever was above us jumping loudly on the floor very early in the morning ( perhaps exercising?) that woke me up around 330 in the morning. The plus is the great location on the beach with everything so close to you and the staff and food were great.

The hotel did not have a shuttle to the airport. The staff were very rude and unprofessional. At the time of arrival the staff told me that if I pay $70 dollars I can get early entrance to the room. I didn’t pay the $70 dollars. About an hour later the told me the room is ready and they gave us the keys. The room was occupied with another family. And when I told the staff they were very rude about their mistakes.

It is a beautiful property in a great location. Our suite was very large and very clean. During our stay one of the two elevators was broken. This site has 14 floors so with only one elevator working, you had to wait a long time for the elevator. Parking is inconvenient because it is valet only at 55.00 a day. At the time of booking I thought all fees were included other than parking. All fees are not included, so when you check in they collect another 56.00 for each day for resort fees.

Channels on TV didn’t work when trying to watch tv.

Beautiful property! Didn't get to use amenities which closed at dusk. Parking ridiculously expensive! Valet were nice. Other staff not very friendly.

We booked for the ocean view and the ability to have a room that held 6 people. The bathroom water was difficult to adjust and burned my daughter in law. We had to call maintenance to fix it. Also the sink water handle was broken. Other than that our stay was ok.

Finally, only one elevator was working which was a huge inconvenience considering the hotel has 12 floors and a they have a lot of rooms.

Excellent location. They nickel and dime for everything. Included breakfast buffet is a misnomer, is just a credit for very expensive hotel breakfast menu, very disappointing. Otherwise nice hotel in perfect location.

Staff was very cold and not very helpful. Housekeeping came in our room despite the do not disturb sign. Smoking by the pool.

Me and my wife had a great time. The food was awesome the pool was great. I have one issue and it was I never got to enjoy the spa with my wife or her alone. Our main reason for staying there was to enjoy the spa and I asked the desk attendant to let us know if anyone cancels or if any openings come up. She took my number and at least she could have followed up with a yay or nay.

to ensure that the steak was cooked to my liking, I attempted to cut into it. Before I could, he quickly pulled it away stating that I could not touch it. 3 nights stay~horrible experience. The “Manager Director” Andrew Jarrett only compensated the money I paid for the steak and a one day room fee! He promised me more but reneged and even we he saw me paying

Clean Room Nice Restaurant & Bar Close To Beach

Front desk ladies were very dry and lacked customer service skills. One of them told us that the check-in was at 4pm however asked for my credit card and charged the resort fee with providing me with any paperwork to sign. After she told me that they would call me when the room was ready. I wasn’t sure how they had my phone number nevertheless I believed them and meanwhile we were allowed to use the pool area. After couple of hours I approached the front desk anyway to make sure they had my phone number. The other lady was surprised that no paperwork was processed but just wrote down my phone number. After a minute when I was passing by them after using the restroom, they stopped me and asked me to sign a paper. At 4pm I went to front desk again as my phone was about to die. They told me, “Your room is ready, hopefully” At the end of our trip, couple of days before our check-out, I asked for a late checkout but I was told it’s too early. The night before, when I asked the front desk again, I was told to approach 9am the day of the checkout. We went there 9am and were told that late checkout requests get processed starting 7am on first come first serve basis and unfortunately we were late and not even 30 minute late checkouts were available. Most hotels allow 30minutes automatically.

Friendly staff

The guest room was clean and comfortable, however, there are no hooks in bathroom to hang one’s clothes. The light switches to the bathroom are outside in hallway - does not make sense. The ladies bathroom in the lobby were not kept clean (I visited the bathroom several times during our visit). I spoke to housekeeper once and she said it wasn’t going to be cleaned.

We loved the location on the beach and our balcony faced the beach with a great view. We spent the night before our cruise. Worked out great!

Rooms are spacious offering breathtaking views with an oceanfront room. Rooms have a kitchenette stocked with water and coffee. Housekeeping daily. On premise restaurant, Wild Thyme, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Many fine restaurants within walking distance. Beach is just across the street and water, towels and loungers are provided. There is a $45 a day resort fee charged daily.

Best experience I had staying in a hotel. I got the ocean-front room and it was all worth it! There's a restaurant and a bar in the hotel and plenty of restaurants all around the vicinity. Giving it 5 stars for my over-all stay!

Great greeting from Stephanie on arrival after a long flight from England which was very welcoming. Big room overlooking the beach, comfortable bed and pillows, nice bar and restaurant and great position with a nice pool and bar as well. What more could you want?

We really enjoyed our time here. The room was huge with a balcony overlooking the pool and beach. The restaurants were very good, and there are other great options nearby. The gym was small but far better equipped than most hotel gyms. The staff was excellent with one exception, but I felt he was brought in to replace someone who didn't show up and he wasn't trained for the position they gave him. The property was very well maintained (except for a stain on the carpet in our room). We'd definitely stay here again.

Shower didn’t work! Called for help and technicual couldn’t fix. When I asked for the room to be comped, was told it’s a condo/owner-owned and they can only comp resort fees. Also, lots of hidden fees including $50 valet charge which you must use because there are no other parking options. So ended up paying over $400 for a room with no working shower. Incredibly disappointing way to start our vacation.

I booked a weekend away for me and my wife..first time without the kids in 20 years and let me tell you it did not disappoint..I don’t usually book stuff my wife does so this was me on my own surprising her and it was hard to choose a spot but from the moment we got to the resort I knew it was the right choice..first the room was very clean..a fantastic view from our studio oceanfront view ..one of my worries was because we were across the street from the beach but that was a 1 minute walk lol ..shower pressure was the best I’ve ever had at a resort ..valley was super easy ..you get a text and all you have to do is text them and click request car and it was always there within 3 minutes..the restaurant was very good each meal were delicious..the staff there and across the street where yo get beach chairs and they had a little bar on the beach were all awesome…if your like me and looking at 100 places to stay because your never the one booking stuff I would highly recommend this hotel/ spa..by the way it has a great gym and spa! ..I’m 46 years old and I never write reviews lol but I had to right this because it was that good! Would highly recommend

Enjoyed 100 percent from check in with Stephanie to poolside with Fernando. The restaurant was good, received a glass of wine from bar for a night cap. It was a great birthday experience. We will definitely return.

Oh, the tube had green water coming out...a pipe issue. The price was expensive and not like it was 8 years ago....GO Elsewhere...So much competition in area...... The only good thing was staff...very professional and courteous..

Pool bartender “Daniel”. While being a super nice guy. Lacked organization skills to get drinks and food to us in timely manner. Property needs some maintenance. Lifting tile on patio, TP holder fell off wall everyday, handles came off doors. Not resort condition.

Reception personnel were not welcoming and seemed pretentious. Stayed on 14th floor and it smelled like cigarettes. The bartenders were awesome and friendly.

Our stay was brief for one night , the staff are friendly , the building needs some TLC and the room were clean. The pool needs some cleaning with lounge chairs , we arrived at check in and the beach lounges closed around 2 and we didn’t have any towels. We had to go to the pool area to find towels. For the price you pay it’s not worth it

Here’s the not so good: The rooms are clean but shop worn, old fixtures and furniture, needs touch up painting. During our two night stay the tub would not drain, the hair dryer was not operational, one sink valve was leaking badly and one TV control would not work. To top it all off we ask for housekeeping to make the bed. My wife was looking for her small bag of jewelry and did not find it. We looked everywhere. Our fault was not using the supplied safe in the room. Additionally, beware of the $45 per night resort fees and the $55 per night valet parking. That added another $200 to our bill. Just be aware as this is what the hotels are doing to extract more money for travelers. Also, the beach umbrellas are owned and rented by the City at $30/day. Can’t charge to your room.

The hotel was very nice. There was a small stain on the chain in the room could’ve been from some cleaning products but wasn’t a problem. The entire staff was amazing and the hotel is in the best location. I will be definitely booking with them for my future trips!

I’ve been coming here for 10 years as a getaway from cold and snow. Love the location and amenities. Seems like the hotel needs a little TLC since I’ve been coming back.

Air conditioner was good. only one problem with the bathroom hot water came out of the cold water spout. when the technician came to see what we were saying he agreed and said the shower valve was broken and its connected to the sink if you leave the shower in the hot water mode it affects the sinks. I've neve seen a system like that before he repaired it and the issue was still present. You must remember to set the shower in the cold position after every shower . Go figure Atlantic please fix it and keep the plumbing simple.

The shower is actually missing the fixture, just has a pipe sticking out of the wall and somebody had actually left a plastic soup container or some sort so you can at least try to fill it and rinse yourself. Hopefully ownership can try to keep an eye on management and improve the experience. We spoke to a couple other couples also staying and they felt the same way. We all mentioned maybe trying somewhere different next time. It is upsetting because I've always loved coming to this location.

The property itself is a bit tired and run down. It also wasn’t the cleanest, with hair on the towels, bits of things on the carpet, and a general shabbiness to the room. Perhaps the most irritating thing was that this hotel charges a resort fee of $45/day. This includes chairs on the beach, towels, and two bottles of water. But not the umbrella, which is an additional $30. I don’t mind a resort fee, but it’s a hefty one and ought to include an umbrella at the beach for a few hours. Either go à la carte and do away with the fee, or make it inclusive. A positive was the onsite restaurant. We had both breakfast and dinner and everything was delicious.

We stayed in a suite and it was very spacious. It said ocean view but it was more of a side view but still lovely. Beautiful hotel with a great pool. We would definitely stay again.

Everything! We enjoyed the pool, plenty of sun and shade. Clean pool towels, ordering drinks and food from the bar. Our room was clean and had a perfect view of the ocean. The beach was amazing, two beach chairs and clean towels were provided. On a rainy day we took advantage of the clean maintained gym at the hotel. Nikita, Lois, and Fernando helped make our stay an enjoyable one. I feel the room needed a full size refrigerator instead of two dorm style ones.

We had a wonderful stay with two kids over spring break. The room was large, clean and had what we needed. The pool was a little small, but the kids did not mind and there were plenty of chairs and places to spread out available on the pool deck. The jacuzzi was closed for most of our stay, but it is tiny! All of the hotel staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Th hotel is in a quiet area, however, there are several restaurants close by that we enjoyed! Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel!

Great stay for family. Room was large nice size bathroom. Close to the beach with easy access. Only two lounger chairs per room and umbrella cost extra. Kids liked the pool. Great atmosphere.

Very nice staff, especially the people who clean the rooms. Rooms were very clean, very comfortable amenities and worked perfectly for our family of 4. The pool was cold but the ocean was what we picked to swim in anyway. We will be coming back!

The pool was very nicely heated, although the hot tub was out of order while we stayed. The mattresses were very firm bordering on hard. The staff was great and very responsive.

The oven did not work, and 1 lamp was broken. However, the maintenance guy turned on the breaker for the oven, and the lamp got fixed. Aging building but great staff.

They didn’t clean our room one of the days. Staff at the desk was very rude, threw our key card on the desk, and was unable to give us a late check out. Will never come back here.

Great location, room, heated pool, complimentary bikes and boogie boards. Right across from the beach and have free access to two beach chairs daily. Kitchenette was helpful and friendly staff.

We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived. We were able to check in early to enjoy the most out of the day and the pool. Everyone was so friendly.

Hot tub was down but no other issues.

Only 2 knocks, the bed was very uncomfortable; we told mgr so hopefully it'll be replaced and the other is umbrellas are not included with daily resort fee. They are $30 extra per day, or you can have the 2 included chairs w/ no umbrella. This was not clear at booking. Other than those, great room, fabulous staff. This is about the best value you'll find right on the beach. It's just far enough away from Las Olas to be able to sleep and close enough to easily reach the party.

I had a fantastic stay here. Staff is amazing. Beach and pool are perfect.

They advertise the beach chairs are included the resort fee but neglect to mention there is also an additional $30 umbrella fee. The pool only has 14 umbrella and about 40 chairs. There are not enough do people ho down early and put towels down on chairs but don’t show up got several hours. The location was good but overall not worth the money.

Room was very spacious especially bathroom. Great views. Highly recommend beach view room. spent one day on the beach and the service was great. Super friendly bartender at the beach. We also ordered food on the beach from hotel and it was delicious.

We loved this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the whole place was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. I LOVE having a kitchenette in the room. It had an electric cooktop with two burners, a microwave and a sink. There was a little pod coffee maker (we didn't use it though). The bathroom was HUGE. Two sinks, soaker tub

The property was very nice and clean. Perfect location and the view of the beach was amazing. The staff especially Stefanie (at the front desk) was very pleasant and an absolute joy to see everyday. With only one mishap, the overall experience was wonderful.

Very fast, friendly staff and great location!

The Atlantic is a wonderful hotel. We have stayed here multiple times and are always happy with it. We stayed in an ocean view king suite. The room was nice, with coffee/bar area and fridge and microwave. Balcony overlooked the water, sitting area with pullout couch and king bedroom attached. Room was clean, shower and separate bathtub are huge and insane water pressure in the shower. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom which is strange but not a huge deal. Bed and pullout are comfy and room is huge and clean. We always have a great time at the Atlantic and will return when we go back to FL. The one and only thing I would mention that is strange and can be challenging with this hotel is that there are no ice machines. You have to either call or go to the front desk and they send the ice to your room. Which is fine and limits ice maching noise, but if you use a lot of ice like we do, you have to wait for delivery, there also is no freezer in the room so you end up with ice melting and then calling for more. Aside from that quirk, you will be happy you stayed here for sure.

My only complaint is the toiletries. The shampoo, conditioner and lotions are all terrible. The shampoo doesn’t lather at all. Conditioner doesn’t do anything. Lotions doesn't even absorb into your skin. I was disappointed.

Ocean view with terrace was beautiful and room was spacious with all necessities. There was an instance of beach towels not being readily available midday with no follow up, and a miscommunication at the spa delayed vacation time. Staff were all very kind and welcoming.

The staff was lovely and so accommodating. We booked this particular hotel bc it was able to accommodate our family of 5. The room had a strong, unpleasant odor which was later found to be due to a plug in air freshener that was used to cover up another unpleasant smell (we suspected cigarette smoke). The pool and hot tub areas were very small with only about 20 lounge chairs for the entire hotel so unless you went there around 7:30am to save a spot, there was nowhere to go. Upon arrival we were told we had access to the beach however, they would only give us 2 chairs and 2 towels. If we wanted anything more, we “might” have to pay. We went to the beach to spend the day and asked if we needed to pay for additional chairs for our family of 5. The beach staff member, employed through Boucher, was rude and nasty, telling me “What do you think? The pool and hot tub could have been open at night but instead it was closed and so dark that both were not options. In a hotel of this size, it would have been nice to have it stay open. In addition the restaurant stopped taking orders at 9:30 pm on a Friday night. This seems so early for a weekend. It’s frustrating for a nice hotel.

As frequent travelers we felt that the hotel was overpriced for the general ambiance and amenities it offers. Same with the restaurant and lobby shop, way too pricey for amenities and service that are not up there. I think it may be good for families with kids, the location is great. Our city view room was clean and huge but did not offer much in the way if amenities, the coffee machine did not work.

For the cost of our room, I expected a more updated room. The sliding door to the balcony was broke and barely slid open, one of the facets didn’t have any water connected to it, the shower had mold in corners near ceiling and floor, mirror was rusted, the wallpaper and carpeting were dirty. Also, we arrived around eleven AM and were told we would be updated when our room was cleaned. At 245pm we asked again and were told it would be ready soon. If the reception desk was honest and said check in isn’t until 3pm, we would have went out to the beach or spent our time doing something rather than waiting on the room. Not the upscale experience I expected.

Floor had spots on the carpet.Staff nice. Close to the beach. Woke up during the night from smelling some one above our suite smoking weed.. even in the morning found ash that was blown by wind on our part of the balcony. For a high end hotel and price expected more..

The room was okay but not for what i paid. Towels and shampoo were late at times while no hot water for one night. All in all it was clean and maintained but nickel and diming for an umbrella atvthe beach when ur paying a resort fee says it all. Breakfast was okay but the birds feeding off tbe food was not. All in all location excellent room clean view gorgeous but other areas should have been different for the price.

The room was spacious and nice view but the sink was leaking and the bathroom ceiling had a leak. We also didn’t have hot water for a shower for a few hours.

It was a great location right across from the beach. The room was very large and spacious. Not super clean (sand in showers), but no worries either. We got to the hotel early morning and we were able to use the amenities and store our luggage there until our room was ready.

Friendly staff, beautiful oceanfront view which is so worth the extra! The coffee machine in the room, the pool and the bartender at the pool who was so friendly. The hot tub, all of the restaurants so close by with amazing food and wonderful staff. It’s a great place to stay! Every staff member we encountered was so helpful, friendly, and welcoming.

One bedroom suite was very spacious - Room was kept clean and stocked daily with water and coffee.

The four star rating is because of the all the extra fees that are charged, state tax, occupancy tax etc. Can bring the bill up a bit. But overall, we will return as it is perfect spot across from the beach and walking distant to tons of awesome restaurants and shopping.

There were birds swimming in the pool and feathers floating all around. We mentioned it to the staff, but they didn’t do anything. Most of the door handles in our room were falling off.

There was a very bad smell when entering the room. Even after airing out the room the scent was still there. Seemed like it may have been coming from a fresh stain on the floor.

I wanted to share feedback regarding my recent stay. I was truly excited to stay at your hotel, especially because of the beautiful views, which were the main reason I chose your property. Unfortunately, several issues made my stay far less enjoyable than expected. Upon arrival, I was informed that valet parking was $50, and I did not realize this charge would apply each time I entered and exited. This was not clearly explained beforehand and was an unexpected expense. When we arrived on our floor, there was a strong and unpleasant smell in the hallway. In addition, the carpet in our room appeared very old, and the pipes were extremely noisy, which made it difficult to relax and rest. The biggest disappointment occurred at the pool and jacuzzi. Both were infested with bugs that were attaching to our towels and seats. I believe this may have been caused by birds repeatedly flying into the pool area. I notified a staff member, who said he would inform someone, but no action was taken. The next morning, as we were preparing to leave and the weather had dropped significantly, small robotic cleaners were placed in the pool, making it unusable for us. Coming from a long distance and hoping to enjoy some sunshine and pool time, this was extremely frustrating. This trip was meant to be a birthday getaway, and I noted this in my reservation. Unfortunately, nothing special was acknowledged, and overall the experience was very disappointing. While the views were beautiful,

Our king suite oceanfront room was spacious and quiet. We liked the kitchenette with frig and microwave as well as the double sinks in the bathroom and walk in shower. The AC worked well. The 2 chairs in the room were very comfortable. The balcony had a great ocean view, though sitting outside you could hear street traffic. The Wild Thyme restaurant was convenient for lunch and had prompt service. This hotel is an excellent choice.

We had a wonderful stay at The Atlantic Hotel & Spa while in Ft. Lauderdale. The staff was great! The room was very clean and spacious, equipped with a kitchenette and the shower was awesome. We had an oceanfront view and every morning watched the sunrise directly in front of our balcony. The location was superb as we watched the cruise ships come and go, while dining options were all within walking distance. Will definitely be back.

The room was fantastic - ocean view studio with two queens. Balcony with view of both the pool and the beach. Small kitchenette. Large bathroom. Plenty of space. Very clean.

Room was big and clean. People were nice. I did not like that I had to request to have my room cleaned. Also a $45 resort fee is ridiculous especially when you check in at midnight!

The property is exceptionally clean, including the rooms. The oceanfront one-bedroom suite has incredible views and a large balcony. The stay was very comfortable overall. Highly recommended.

They put us in a nice room on the fifth floor by the pool had a little private balcony. It’s nice and large clean room I planned on booking the room 501 for my birthday and February 6 and seventh I already made reservations. I requested 501 because I like that room the lady said a lot of other people don’t like it but I like it.

Our room was not provided any soaps, towels or toilet paper when we checked in. I requested the items and after an hour of waiting I ended up having to speak with 3 different people about having shampoo and conditioner for our stay. Considering the price I expected an understanding response when requesting simple toiletries. The room was not cleaned well, over a 5 day stay we had towels replenished only twice even though we had housekeeping come everyday, very strange. The toilet makes a very loud whistle when you flush and unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable. Although the location is beautiful this hotel really needs to update the rooms or empower their team to take better care of where families stay.

Great, relaxing stay. Everything you need for the real vacation, great views with spectacular sunrises, nice breakfast in the hotel, amazing rooms with all equipments for kitchen, towels on the beach and on 5th floor swimming pool. For late flights there is a room to keep bags save.

Room could have been more updated but overall, loved the room and the view.

Room could use an upgrade on little things like grab bars in shower with slippery marble floors. Screens on balconies (birds flew in our room) ice trays for fridge or ice in hall And Expedia could explain extra fees like $55 a day for parking and $20 a towel on beach beyond 2 or $30 for an umbrella on beach and $20 for extra chairs. Breakfast is included by giving a credit to restaurant for large menu. Not buffet.

Everything was perfect

The employees were great, the room was nice. My only complaint is that I now have to keep bugging them about my bill. I’m supposed to have a credit on my bill because I paid to have breakfast included. I spoke to the manager and he assured me I’d have a credit for each day regardless of whether I ate breakfast or dinner bc I explained their breakfast didn’t start until 8. Had I known I may not have prepaid bc I leave the hotel early. Most hotels I’ve stayed at breakfast starts much earlier. He said he understood and there would be no problem. It’s not a lot of money but it’s mine and I didn’t want to have to keep following up about it. There were no notes entered so the staff didn’t prepare my bill correctly. That’s my one complaint.

EVERYTHING! Staff was so lovely and accommodating especially Stephanie at the front desk, Isaac the valet and Chris the bartender. They gave us a complimentary upgrade and it was such a lovely suite we will most definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed the spacious room, and the coffee. The shower was excellent. The pool was nice, the hot tub was poor and unavailable to us the final day for maintenance. They offered ice cream bars at the pool bar, for a shocking $11 each. Outrageous!! Prices in their restaurant and gift shop also too high, higher than the other hotels along the same street.

Love, the fact it has a kitchen with stove especially when you have kids. We had few hiccoughs about housekeeping, but it was all sorted out. I noticed something about staff, they kind of annoyed when you ask questions and they have no patience to deal with customers for some reason. After all, we enjoyed our stay and we would stay again if we go to Fort Lauderdale. However, I would avoid interacting with staff in general as I know there system – procedure now so I won’t need to inquire about anything.

First front desk person was very nice. The late nice person was rude. Our ac is broken and they didn’t have our king bed room we reserved. Also the mini fridge wasn’t working. Bathroom was old and stained. Not sure why this place gets such great ratings

The hotel had a private event and we had little kids. (4) and (10). We had planned an early beach day the next day. HOWEVER, the party they had blasted music (Spanish) from 5pm until 10pm. Eat plugs did no good. It was so much base. We paid for ocean view for the experience. After talking to the desk twice. No help. All they offered us at first was free breakfast. Then waived resort fees. They ruined a whole day of fun because my daughter slept in all morning and was crying half the evening because daddy couldn’t get them to turn down the music. Horrible decision for them to put a young family in proximity to that. They couldn’t move us because hotel was full apparently. Yuck!!! Also no coffee options of quality on site.

Upon arrival we were upgraded. Natasha was so kind to do this. The hotel was not full since it was thanksgiving weekend. She didn’t have to do that, but I also wasn’t feeling well so it made such a difference on thanksgiving where I could lay in bed and sleep on and off watching tv while my husband watched football in the LR. This was our second stay here and we would come again. Lounges were included across the street at the beach which was very convenient.

The cleaning staff was attentive and the proximity to the beach was direct and convenient.

One of the most beautiful room ever. Amazing location. Only thing is I though the EV charger was a “perk” of staying there but they charge to charge your car, on top of the valet charge. Besides that, great!

Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and we were able to check in early. Our room was spacious and well appointed. We went down to the pool where the bar staff , Chaz, was attentive and helpful. The morning staff were excellent, specifically Natasha. She was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent. The only downside was on our checkout day where the staff at the front desk didn’t exhibit the same enthusiasm as the rest of the staff. We are glad that she was not our first point of contact when we first arrived. Overall I recommend this hotel. It was relaxing and just what we were looking for.

The place is right on the beach. Staff was great and very helpful. Valet was efficient. Natasha at the front was awesome. A lot to do nearby. We had an oceanfront room it was perfect can recommend. It’s nice and quiet at night and the drapes were really black out level. The pace was very clean and seemed well maintained. We loved our stay and would stay again.

This hotel has become very dated and worn since our last stay a few years ago. Furniture throughout the entire complex and most especially in their restaurant (Wild Thyme), is worn, dirty and in desperate need of replacement. We will not stay here again.

Needs maintenance and improvemebts

Nice large room with a great view of the Atlantic. Room was clean and well appointed. Easy walk to restaurants and the beach. We were missing extra linens, and the room didn't have any forks.

Refrigerator was dirty, and some of the lamps were not working maintenance. Had to come and fix.

The only real nègative we found was that there were 1 charge to our room that appeared that shouldn't have been cause i payed in cash for all things at the hotel. Other than that it was a fantastic experience. However, if we ever went back to Fort lauderdale we probably find a place closer to Las Olas blvd.

She was extremely helpful, efficient, warm, friendly all while holding a smile. I was given the wrong information on the phone and she was there to help clear it all and offered better solutions. Thank you Nikita! We wish you a warm upcoming holiday season:)

Weird extra charges and valet is mandatory

Beautiful view, great service, clean and spacious. These qualities made our stay truly memorable, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always greeting us with a smile. As the sun set, the ambiance transformed, creating the perfect backdrop for a peaceful evening.

Towels not refreshed by the pool and had to go to the spa for them to call housekeeping. Shower in mens toilet broken/out of service. When extending check out paid the fee but door card not updated and had to go back to reception desk. Lady with platts never appologised or said anything and just put cards on counter, not interested at all. Had to go back to reception a second time as doors cards stopped working again and saw a different lady who said didn't my colleague do this earlier to which I confirmed but obviously updated the cards incorrectly. This second lady did appologise. On last day large area of pool deck section off and workmen painting etc all day.

My room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the high-quality linens and thoughtful extras like bottled water, a coffee machine, and plush bathrobes. The hotel’s restaurant was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with a great selection of hot and cold items and excellent coffee. The location couldn’t have been better — close to local attractions but still peaceful enough for a good night’s rest. The pool and gym were clean and well-maintained, and the concierge gave fantastic recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities. Overall, this hotel provided one of the best experiences I’ve had in years. I can’t recommend it enough and will absolutely be returning on my next visit!

My morning and evening balcony view was awesome during my perfect stay at the Atlantic Hotel. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and mostly my interactions with Natasha (Front Desk agent) the best sight in the area. The Atlantic hotel/SPA operated as a well oiled machine, the staff was highly knowledgeable of the areas and the food I personally desired. Natasha, Thank You and hopefully you will be rewarded. I was more than thankful and happy to use the reservation however the front desk employee was rude and didn’t know what was going on. The valet had to request her twice and myself as well. If you don’t want the job allow someone else to work.

The staff at this hotel was friendly and engaging. Staff was very accommodating to any minor issues that arose during our stay. We would absolutely return to this hotel. Kevin at the beach is a great asset to the hotel. Kevin's friendly demeanor was a pleasant surprise considering that he must work on the beach on extremely hot days. Jeannot at the Wild Thyme restaurant is a great waiter. Make sure you visit this restaurant as the cooks are outstanding and will prepare a great meal.

The property itself was great, The location was perfect, The beach was nice. I wouldn’t consider this a VIP property with Expedia because I did not receive any of the perks I had to pay for a room upgrade and I also had to pay for a later check out.

Beach view was excellent, room was clean and very comfortable. We just weren’t pleased with the valet parking, we just felt that it was a hassle to constantly have to call ahead for the vehicle, it actually prevented us from venturing out a few times. Would have preferred to self park so as to come at go as we saw fit.

Unfortunately, the room tv remote and Iron was not working, however, they replaced both fairly fast and were very gracious about it. The room and corridors are becoming fairly dated. The door was very-par looking and the carpeting in the hallway had many darker stains. This Hilton, arguably, was the fairly dated and appeared to be lesser upkept than the Hilton Brand Name suggest.

Beautiful Hotel & Great Staff! We were right on the beach and we stayed ocean view. It was perfect!! The mandatory valet parking is okay, not what I usually do but it was okay. Valet staff was aldo polite. The showers in our room were top notch...THE BEST!! I loved our view and everything (accomodation, comforts, fullly equiped kitchen, spacious, design, etc.) about this resort style hotel. I look forward to returning for another stay.

I don’t like the soap shampoo dispenser. So hard to get out in small amounts and hard for staff to see they are low.

I think for the price the hotel is very out of date. The A/C is freezing and the hidden resort fees plus $55 for valet parking is rather disrespectful after paying $250+ for one night. The pool and bars are also out of date. Would recommend if you do not care about amenities, however there are way better places in Fort Lauderdale for the same price.

Great location right across from the beach. However, for the price, maybe stay elsewhere. I got an ocean view room but was on the side of the building and did not have a direct full 180 ocean view. More like a 90 degree view. I had to lift the top off the toilet to flush it all the way. The liquid bottles in the shower and vanity need to be screen printed. Paper labels on bottles in humid areas tend to peel off and look run down fast. The room was big and comfortable. Just looked a bit run down even though the hotel is not that old.

Oceanfront room, but just above hotel pool, so noisy when folk were there and importantly, the pool/bar music started at 7:30AM. Even though no people at the pool. It was still good and I would return.

I have stayed at The Atlantic before and like the property. It is an upscale hotel and its cleaning of bathrooms should be thorough. There pieces was human hair in the face bowl in bathroom. obviously it was left by previous occupant and missed by the cleaner. I find this type of oversight disgusting.

Too noisy our room was above the pool area as a VIP I expected a room with full ocean view not just ocean front. The bartenders were great.

We had a wonderful stay, hotel staff and valet staff were so friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean with a fantastic ocean view. The pool and pool bar was so nice and very well maintained! The restaurant “wild thyme” was a great experience as well. Tasty menu and service with a smile. Bed was a bit firm for both of us. But over all, It was a great stay, we would recommend to friends and family and be happy to return again.

You have to pay a fee to stay at resort and then pay again $30 for umbrellas at the beach. Not sure that’s a good thing.

Holiday weekend getaway. The hotel is cetrally located, spectacular views and entire staff is friendly. I am able to get my car when I want it with no delays.

The view its unique and exceptional.... i did not like the shower floor because its really slippery anybody can easily fall...the valet offers a really good service

No convenience store nearby. Hard to find different restaurants ground. Stay and view was fine.

The hotel itself was very nice but the shower drained out slow so it was overflowing while we showered. And the restaurant was overpriced and the food was unseasoned and cold. We choose not to complain or send it back because we had already waited a long time to get our food and it ended up being cold. I would not recommend the onsite restaurant.

Very nice hotel, very spacious room with a nice kitchenette. Only thing missing was a table to go allong with this. Very close to a quiet almost private beach. Towels and chairs are complimentary but umbrella is 30$ a day not included. Located with other luxurious hotel, quiet place far from restaurants and shops but walkable or bike

Great location

The 2 small downside details were not being able to get room service to respond my 1st night. The 2nd, bizarre thing was the stationary soap and lotion dispensers were unusable. They were clogged and projectile shot their contents everywhere even when I tried to use tissues and washcloths to catch the stream. I would absolutely stay again, just bring snacks and soap.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere. The room was impeccably and beautifully decorated. I felt like a home-away-from-home. From the location , to the staff , to the ample restaurant selection-- not one detail was missed!!

I love the hotel , the stay was really good but they didn’t give us the upgrade for being VIP. And we think it shouldn’t be like that.

All the facilities are super clean. The pool and jacuzzi area have an incredible view. The beach and surrounding areas are very beautiful.

Great, clean. The oceanfront queen suite was great on the 14th floor. It’s too bad the beach is full of seaweed. We went snorkeling in peanut island an hour away and it was great though.

The living room furniture could have an update in the suite and the pool had a lot of black. I’m not gonna say mold, but it looked like that on the ocean side but other than that, it was fantastic.

Comfortable bed. They tried to charge me twice for parking when we checked out. I only parked one car but they had me billed for 2! Big difference when you ain't got it like that. I Thankfully caught the charge before we left the hotel back to kc

Please fix the plumbing in the shower and bathroom sinks for the next traveler. They were tricky to close and open. Hotel is losing water if people can't close the faucet and shower properly.

It’s right by the beach. But some things in the room was outdated. Sink was missing screw and one of the tap was not draining water properly. But overall it’s not a bad place to stay but for the price it should be better.

Wonderful view of the ocean.

Overall the hotel is nice, rooms are spacious and location is great considering right on the beach. I didn't care for that there is no free parking which I thought they may offer so be prepared to spend an extra 200 on valet unless your going to find another garage and walk back and forth which is inconvenient. I also found the bed to be hard. Also the pool is not for swimming only for relaxing considering it's only 4 ft deep and the hot tub is small. Overall a nice hotel. Didn't try the food.

I paid for full ocean view for my honeymoon.. I was given wrong room.. Hotel said I need to call Expedia.. They said I would get call back in 3 to 4 hours. No one called.. I want a refund. Ruined our honeymoon.

This is the second time that we stay at this hotel. At check-in, I had the opportunity to upgrade as an add-on to a one bedroom king size Suite. First, it was pending, then it was approved and when I went to check in I was not able to get into that room because they were 100% booked. What I don't understand is why would you approve an upgrade and then tell me that I am not able to get into that room. The woman who checked us in was not mean, but she was not sympathetic at all. She just told me that she was not the one that approved it and then she was just telling me what she was seeing on her screen, and that I could not get the room. We came back to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and I could have gone to any other Hotel, but we decided to give this hotel a second try. We love the location, the pool area, and the convenience of being right across from the beach. The room is spacious, bathroom is enormous, the bedding is soft and clean, and the view is spectacular.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at The Atlantic Hotel and Spa. The service they provide is exceptional. The property manager Ricardo was very prompt and communicated with us very well on a problem I had with my credit card. The pool scene was very fun and the view from the 5th floor pool was awesome. We rode the bikes they provided and used the beach chairs at the beach also. We will 100% stay here again and I recommend this hotel to all who are staying in the Fort Lauderdale area. Great location.

Lots to do around the property between food and fun activities. A lot of great restaurants for all meals and great atmosphere at night. Staff is super friendly and have great recommendations.

The property was clean and nice. Staff was attentive. Even though beach chairs were free, umbrellas cost 30$ each which is very inconvenient. Nearby restaurants are a bit pricey, but overall offer good food and drinks. The location is good, not too noisy, perfect for families with children.

Big room Very accessible to beach and shops

We had an outstanding stay. The valet parking and check in took 5 minutes. The room was great with comfortable beds, a clean spacious bathroom and the oceanfront balcony was top notch! The restaurant and pool were also outstanding. We really liked that they gave us beach towles, two chairs and water bottles when we went to the beach. The staff were very professional and courteous as well and we plan to stay here again.

The hotel was great as well as the staff...I will definitely go back and have reserved the same room for my next stay. One thing that could improve is the television options. There is no "live" tv coverage - only pre-recorded news and movies. We wanted to watch Wimbledon and could not do so in the room because no live channels.

A bit rundown but nice overall

They sell you a luxury experience that does not exist, in addition to all are tricks for you to pay more money, they tell you that breakfast is 19.95 per person and I end up paying 100 dollars for 3 people, the umbrellas on the beach 30 dollars, only parking available with valet 55 dollars plus taxes, if you want a drink in addition to the price it will be 5 dollars in taxes, not even watching television or streaming from your phone each movie 20 dollars plus taxes, the hotel is not even beautiful I paid for a view of the sea and they gave me a view of the building, I do not recommend it at all

This is my second day at this property really appreciate the spacious rooms. Had a two room suite with king bed, and dual patio. He was amazing excellence day.

We had to order fresh towels not sure they clean rooms for 2 day stays. They brought up a healthy supply of towels.

I’ve stayed at the Atlantic before & I’m glad i stayed there this time. I really enjoy the location. The room was clean & cleaned daily. The front desk was warm and welcoming (shout out to Ricardo)… I’d recommend this hotel to loved ones… there were no umbrellas at the pool area which is a very bad look… i stayed away from the pool subsequently.

Unforgettable experience and great memories were made. This hotel is a must. You won’t be disappointed.

Staff & food at the hotel restaurant/bar, Wild Thyme, were excellent. Walking distance to exceptional restaurants. Clean, safe beach. Hotel very safe- requires rm key to access any floor in the hotel—many higher-end hotels on AIA don’t have that. Room was spacious, clean, quiet, great view of the ocean, and excellent A/C!

Perfect environment Pool had some pigeon feathers in it but everything was great.

Room was nice and spacious. The shower valance was broke and scolding water was coming out and no soap in shower. The front desk was my biggest issue being so unfriendly. Pool was nice and great views.

Had a wonderful long weekend at the Atlantic Hotel and Spa. We stayed in a King Oceanfront Suite. Room.was very large and bathroom was huge! The view if the ocean from our room a balcony was perfect. We enjoyed the kitchenette and amenities. The pool area was beautiful and we enjoyed a dinner in the hotel restaurant. Service was spot on. Great area..easy walk to other restaurants and bars. Highly recommend!

Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, everything you need in your hotel room for comfortable stay. Everything was in walking distance and had lots of eateries and shops. The pool was very nice and relaxing. The only thing is they should have a few more umbrellas

The only thing I disliked it’s the valet price and other fees. It’s $55 per night plus $45 resort fee so per day for a weekend getaway, add those $200 to your budget.

Very unaccommodating for the price. Their website and check in link listed a 3pm check in but they refused to let me check in until 4pm.

The service was incredible the views were amazing the guy on the beach that put all the chairs out and made sure you had everything you need and brought you drinks he was fantastic and he's a hard worker LOL

I live in Fort Lauderdale and I work on the water. It was a short staycation for Mother’s Day. My five year-old wanted to go swimming decided to book here. The hotel was great for the day. However, the food I received by the pool is totally horrible. It rained the next day so we were not able to get in the pool again overall I would visit again, but I would bring my own food.

Very nice hotel but some things need to be fixed and updated especially for the price you’re paying there shouldn’t be anything broken. When staying at hotels I expect to be comfortable. But the staff was excellent

Overpriced hotel. You can hear your neighbor's conversation verbatim. Found lipstick stains on the sheets. Room not cleaned properly. Woke up in the middle of the night to a roach crawling across the fridge. Was offered to move from the room and would be escorted by hotel security to a new room. The roach deterred me from wanting to continue my stay here.

Stayed in a king room and it was much larger than expected. The balcony with the ocean view was wonderful. The staff was really great.

Negatives: Room was oddly designed. Huge double doors for the bathroom & another huge door to use the toilet that was inconveniently placed. A clothes washer in the kitchenette where a mini fridge should have been and instead there was a full size fridge in the sleeping area next to the tv connected with an industrial extension cord.

We’ve been many years visiting and this time we found there was a new administration, At first we were preocupied because we used to have VIP status and now there were all new faces. When we left, we made new friends that made our stay wonderful as always. Thanks to Centia, Ángel, Franklin always there, and to other for making us feel at home.

Spacious and luxurious suite, friendly staff, great location!

We had a great stay. Hotel was beautiful with great amenities. It was in a nice location. The only problem we had was that the air conditioning did not work very well. We had it turn down to 62 just to have it tolerable. We would definitely stay there again.

I like this hotel. I have stayed before. Neither TV worked in room, nor did the phone to call the front desk. Furniture falling apart.

The service was great all around. Everyone was friendly. Love Wild Thymes for breakfast/brunch. My only complaint was that the bed was super-firm. The bed was not comfortable at all.

This place was fine. I think they need to do some upgrading. It would be nice to not have carpeting throughout the room. It was stained in a lot of places. The furnishings in the living room were older, too.
