Even an average hotel can shine with the right staff, but this hotel not only was clean and comfortable, but the staff went above and beyond to be friendly, helpful, warm and polite. The breakfast was really well done and clean and we’d come back.

The staff was exceptional. But Hampton inn needs to put some money into this hotel. The first room the carpet was wet by the windows soaked my socks. The room they relocated us into really needs to be updated. Like I said the staff was great the building is kind of rundown.

Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Tammy who worked during the night. Breakfast was good, however some mornings it was limited on food options, while other mornings there was a lot to choose from. Parking was good. Overall stay was good and I would stay here again if in the area.

The amenities, the room was in Avery convenient site, close to the parking. At the beginning was a smell like humidity in the room, it’s the only thing that was very unpleasant.

This hotel was in a great location, not to far from the beach. Walmart also close for last minute pick-up. The suite was very spacious with a full refrigerator and small cook top. Great for families. Breakfast was okay and on par with most Hampton Inns, although it could have had more selection. The place was busy so it is understandable that the breakfast offerings we sparse. Overall great place to stay.

We had bugs in our first room. The front staff woman was absolutely wonderful and immediately moved us to an upgraded room. Unfortunately that room also had bugs/ants all over the kitchen and increased for the duration of our stay.

Green algae/slime coating the primary window. The secondary window looked rough; as if it had been broken at some point and poorly replaced. The pillows were quite flimsy so bring your own from home. The comforter on the bed is super thick and heavy; just perfect for Vermont, but here in FL!!??? TOO HOT. Offer cotten blankets, please. I used only the thin sheet, which was uncomfortable and chilly so I barelyslept. We did not interact with the staff, other than to check in and out, which was normal. The breakfast was also disappointing, there was no attendant even tho it was 9 and supposed to be available until 10; it seemed they were just letting things run out. People were eating the hot food items available, and looked to be enjoying it. The coffee was good, and there were a variety of roasts. The juice was mostly flavored water. We did not visit the amenities, but the general location of this property is good, and very close to the islands.

Everything here was very clean and pleasant, Jesse, from the front staff really made us feel valued. He was very responsive to the to our request and concerns. He is the reason we will be back.

Breakfast was a sad sight. If you were not there by 7, there was little to choose from despite breakfast being served until 10. If something was empty (such as the cut up fruit) it was not refilled. We stayed for ten days and actually got breakfast maybe three times. However we have stayed at this location previous times and never had a problem before.

Breakfast was a huge disappointment. In your marketing you talk about a good hot breakfast. At 8 am this morning ALL hot food was gone. All but 1 juice was gone. No fruit or jams etc. A few cold bagels were left. The staff of 1 was very inexperienced. When mentioning this to staff (of 1) just a shrug was offered. People were pretty stunned. Coffee was it and ok.

We ran out of toothpaste, and it was free at the front desk! Staff was friendly and helpful, and the towels were thick and fluffy!

Everything was so nice, however the pool was dirty. The kitchen was great to have except the microwave was sooo low, and same with the pots and dishes. Especially was difficult with a 16 month old.

The property was ok but overpriced for what it was. If you want breakfast, get there WELL before it ends at 10, or there is nothing left (I managed to feed my kids one day out of four that we were there). Housekeeping was inconsistent. The outdoor pool was not clean. The hotel backs up to a Walmart but it was quiet. There are two "highly-rated" but awful cafes on the same street. Food choices for anything decent close by are limited. Check in time is late and check out time is early.

This hotel was super clean and the staff was so friendly, I would absolutely stay here again!!

Unfortunately the staff was not very welcoming. I did find some cockroaches in the room and the toilet did not flush very well. The sink in the kitchen would not drain from just water. Some of the items like furniture needs to be updated. Also the breakfast was supposed to be 6:00 to 10:00 but the time we got there it was 8:45 and most of the items were out of stock.

Some off the staff went out of their way to help me when the length of my stay was not certain due to my dad staying in the hospital. I appreciated the kindness and understanding they showed me. They left my check out date open until I knew the discharge date. I felt comfortable and safe at this hotel, even when i was alone.

Overpriced. We chose this hotel because of the room safe. We could have chosen other hotels of an equivalent standard for considerably less than this one but they didn't have in room safes. After having my laptop stolen from my hotel room in France, I discovered that my Travel insurance wouldn't pay out if there was no sign of forced entry or if the device was not in a safe. So I book rooms with safes. Hotel room was OK but lighting is abysmal. Breakfast is pretty basic. Paper plates and plastic cutlery. Cardboard cups. For what they charge per night it should be fine bone china.

The room was clean and staff were so nice!! We did have an issue with our tub but they were right there to fix it. They could have did better with the breakfast area as it says 6 to 10 everyday and a lot of stuff was not available. Tables were not being cleaned either but we did our own. It was very close to everything and right on the trolley line for us to go to downtown Fort Myers Beach.. such a plus😁

We had a great stay, the first room cleaning was excellent, each time after it went down. The last cleaning of our stay they didn’t give us any coffee, toilet paper or enough towels. Had to ask the front desk, and each if the front desk staff and maintenance staff were amazing!

The furniture was very old and worn out, fleas were everywhere on the bed and couch. We had to spray them, everything else was fine the food the service, the bathroom.

The hotel facilities and room were clean and well maintained. All staff members courteous and cheerful. One note of possible improvement…. The sofa in the room, which was the only seating available, was not very comfortable to sit on. Due to being a sleep sofa the seat back is too deep.

The lobby was decent, but when we arrived at her rooms, the couches had stains all over them. The whole room smelled like BO and the remote is so sticky and gooey. It was disgusting. We left after one night.

The hotel was clean and the staff was super courteous. The only problem with the suite is the cold air conditioner next to the bed and one light for the sink and water closet. It needs a pocket door so that you don’t bother the other people I. The room while you get ready or two separate Lightslights

Overall staff was courteous and friendly. Great to have breakfast every morning. The room was very clean and kept up. Food choices in the morning could have had more fresh fruit. Bacon would have been a nice change from different sausages.

A few things actually. We booked a suite with a patio but the staff couldn’t get the door open so they gave us a downgraded room and did not provide any credit to charge. We had to go back to front desk through times during the course of our stay to have our door keys reset. But the worst was how poorly management treated the staff Friday AM there was very very limited breakfast food as truck had not arrived. Instead of putting up a sign, offering apologies for the inconvenience, providing cover for staff, manager allowed the poor woman working the area to take the ongoing multiple questions and frustrations from guests all morning that had booked there partlydue to breakfast included. When I found the manager hiding behind front desk, he was dismissive and rude. Not his fault the truck hadn’t made it. Not concerned with employees taking the brunt. Blamed it on new ownership. All of which could be true, but a terrible lack of any leadership or professionalism. The staff was kind and caring, regardless of managers shortcomings.

The breakfasts were phenomenal! Room was clean, shower was nice, friendly staff and bed really comfy!

Breakfast ran out of eggs every morning way before time to close up for 3 days straight. They watered down the waffle mix so thin that it couldnt make a waffle. Management said they switched to different vender and they had some growing pains. Not a complete deal breaker but the breakfast is why I choose Hampton.

Located near Walmart and close to the beach. Within walking distance to catch the beach trolley.

Room was clean, staff friendly, services including breakfast was good. The only downside is that none of the ice machines are working. The management work around is they have bags of ice in the snack convenance area behind the desk. Its an OK workaround short term, but they really need to address the problem, The ice bags aren't enough for everyone to have ice.

I would definitely recommend. The staff was nice, the room was nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good as well. The only thing during our stay was that the ice machine wasn’t working, but when I called the front desk, they were able to get me ice and bring it to our room, which was excellent service.

Nice pool area

The location was convenient, just a short drive to the beach, so we were able to enjoy some time by the ocean even though this was mostly a business trip. Overall, a spotless hotel with staff who truly care about their guests. Highly recommend!

I got an upgrade and it was amazing! I couldn't find a decent restaurant so i went to the Aldi and bought groceries then cooked them in my little kitchen. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING! Mini omelets, sausage, waffles and pastries.

The hotel staff are really helpful. One of the front desk managers, Jesse, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provide invaluable information about the area. As a result we stayed an extra night in addition to the 3 we had originally booked.

Property was well maintained. The staff was neither friendly nor helpful. The staff did not greet guests and simple requests (the milk is empty at breakfast or there are no pool towels by the pool) were met with annoyance and very slow responses.

Jesse was prompt, pleasant and very helpful during the course of our stay. We greatly appreciate his professionalism and kindness.

Deixou a desejar em limpeza, tratamento, qualidade do café da manhã e etc. Deixou a desejar sobre muitos aspectos que são bons em outros hotéis da mesma rede e que foram omitidos por esse hotel.

My review of The Hampton Inn Fort Myers / Sanibel FL hotel A + The hotel has a big Pool, small exercise room & meeting and event rooms. We had a 9 day stay And two connecting rooms . One was a 2 beds the other a suite up grade . Warm Greetings when you arrive. The rooms were clean and a good size. The 2 beds room included a small fridge, microwave and the other 1 queen bed suite had a mini kitchen full fridge , stove top, sink and living room area . Also a pull out sofa, was soft and comfortable. . Fresh towels daily The staff all of them including the cleaning service staff , and specially the front desk staff were nice and attentive . Chavone, Jesse, Carla and Todd were GREAT and went above and beyond. Always there and on top of the service. The breakfast was warm every morning and delicious included.. Daily room service. I can't say enough. We will definitely be returning and recommend to our friends and family . Customers are their TOP Priority to make sure you are Happy with your stay . This to me has always been top priority the service a hotel provides. . Taco Bell steps from the hotel and Walmart. Beaches and Sanibel with in driving district distance. Thank you to all and will be staying again.

The property was clean

We went for a 3 day weekend and our stay was amazing. The room was incredibly clean, and the breakfast was more than you could expect for continental breakfast. The front desk and all staff were very welcoming and very friendly. Jessie checked us in and helped us with a tip on a great beach day as well. The location of the hotel was also better than we anticipated. The beach was less than a 10 minute drive and there are plenty of food options and grocery store options as well. Highly recommended

This Hampton Inn was very nice and new, and the manager was very helpful upon check-in. This cost was low compared to another place we stayed on our journey, but it offered everything we needed and a daily breakfast that was not just pastries. We would definitely choose this over the more expensive alternative in the future.

I will never book there again, they charge $75 per pet per night non-refundable which I was told $25 a night. I wound up getting a nice room next door for less and only the $25 pet charge. The Holiday Inn Express.

This place is awesome! I stayed in my room and didn't leave it! I was so comfortable and the cold air conditioner was cold and I just stayed in out of the heat and relaxed.

Cons: only 1 ice machine works. The rooms are extremely small (overcrowded with larger furniture). Designated smoking area is at the front door/entrance. That should be moved. I dont want to walk through smoke to check in.

Every single person on staff had a smile and treated us like we were the most important guests. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the rooms were very comfortable. Plus the pool is a perfect temperature so we spent lots of time in there 🙂 I would definitely recommend Hampton inn & suites to friends.

Management was extremely rude. Got me confused with someone else and screamed at me at the front desk accusing me of not paying my bill last time. I was there absolutely appalling behavior. I plan to sue Hampton.

I would suggest that the information on silencing the fire alarm until the fire departments arrival be posted or easily accessible.
