I was on the 6th floor and could hear some of the traffic on Colonial Blvd. Otherwise the stay was fine.

The hotel has been nicely renovated. Common areas are clean. The breakfast is above average. I enjoyed using the pancake machine! There was only one working elevator, which made getting to and from the room slower than it should have been. Our room was just a little bit musty, and we had to turn the AC down below 70 because it was a bit stuffy and humid. The bathroom was large and clean. The water pressure was strong. Hot water was hot. Towels were clean and plentiful. Beds were comfortable. The room was clean and spacious. Nice renovation. And the price was right. It's not very common to find a 3-star room under $200 these days, especially on a weekend. We were with a group of kids and they enjoyed the pool. It's nothing fancy, but it was clean and served its purpose.

AC was horrible. Felt sticky and muggy in the room. Shower head had no pressure; my dad had to go buy one at Home Depot and trade it out for the week so we could wash our hair. The bathroom and room felt and looked dirty.

The night staff is very nice and respectful. My bed was so comfy- heaven on earth. As soon as my face sink into the fluffy pillow I go straight to sleep. Breakfast is amazing especially the biscuits and gravy. The hotel is super clean. The only downfall is the shower water runs out yellow water first then clear water- it’s fixable. Superb hotel I’ll be back again :)

Breakfast met expectations. Room was cold but there wasn’t the ability to warm it. I’m from AZ so I’m used to being much warmer.

We stayed here for a quick overnight trip and it was not the typical Holiday Inn Express we are accustomed too. Our room had a solid shade covering the window so no light could get through. The problem was the shade was motorized and it did not work so the shade was stuck in the down position. To get light in the room we had to roll it up from the bottom and used the hanger with clips to have natural light. Not the end of the world - the next morning was the issue. We went to breakfast one hour before they stopped serving and they were completely out of eggs, sausage gravy, sausage patties, and milk. Normally you see one or two staff members working the kitchen/dining areas but not here. There was no one to be found to even ask when the food was going to be replenished. The tables were dirty and the floors looked like they had not been mopped recently. It was a Saturday and they were busy, but seriously this is what they do. One of the main perks at a Holiday Inn Express is the breakfast and we were not in a position to wait however long it was going to take for them to sort out the food situation so we checked out and stopped for breakfast on our way out of town. We would not stay here again.

Overall, the stay was great. My family of 4 came down for the spring training game in Fort Myers and the boys enjoyed a dip in the pool. The room had a few things that needed repair, but it didn't affect our stay. Would stay here again.

Nice room and great breakfast. House keeping during our week stay was towels and garbage pick up only no room cleaning of any sort and we had to pick up towels. Never made the bed, we normally would have left $5. per day tip but this time we didn't.

Requested a King bed room and received a handicap room with an inoperable electric window shade and no hair dryer. Staff were unconcerned and did not offer a room change. At over $200 a night we expected better.

Staff was awesome and attentive to our every need. The room could use some tlc. The shower handle plate was loose and the bathroom door was bent and could not fully close. The breakfast hot items menu only alternates to another option (omelet vs scramble, links vs sausage patties). For someone staying longer than. 4 days you’ll get tired of the same menu. The pancake machine is cool but unfortunately the cakes have a gummy texture and don’t taste good at all. So that was a disappointment. Waffle machine would be a nice alternative. Lobby Coffee machine 24/7 was a plus!

Room not as described. Suite was room with sofa not exactly a suite in the normal expectation. Very disappointing with the room. Breakfast over at 9am. Not catering to leisure traveler.

Overall, the room was very clean. The bathroom floor was very dirty and needed a good power clean. There were marks where it seemed a clean was started but not completed. Towels were only partially replaced one of the nights we stayed and the coffee pods were not refilled. The staff was very courteous and the free breakfast was great with a lot of choices. The around the clock coffee was definitely a plus! We would definitely choose Holiday Inn again.

Our room keys never consistently worked. Usually one of the two would, but on our last morning, neither worked. I know it was also an usual cold snap, but the water wasn't hot our last morning. Beds were comfortable. Only one working elevator.

Staff did come to look at refrigerator then a little cooler but don’t plan on placing items in it that you want to be chilled since refrigerator temperature doesn’t get much above room temperature. Overall hotel net our needs.

First they have our double bed room away so we had to sleep on a roll out, then they said that room was an upgrade and they charged us much more then the agreed upon amount! Also the sheets where dirty so we asked for new ones and those new ones where too small so we cortisone sleep comfortably

Sold our 3 bed room we prepaid for almost 2 months in advance before we were able to check in. Unable to accommodate us unless we paid for an additional room for another bed to sleep in. Was able to get refunded but left with no place to stay late at night.

The room was ample and clean. It took me a while to adjust to my desired temperature. There was only one front desk person but he was very professional.

Without any warning the pool was out of service the entire time and a reason we chose this hotel was the pool. Secondly the hotel was full and only one elevator was working making for long waits in both ends. Lastly the coffee machine was out of service. All of these things combined made for a less than desirable stay.

When we walked into the room, it felt warm, damp, and stuffy. When turning down the bed, I found several long dark hairs on the sheets. Not one of our better stays that we have had at a Holiday Inn. Breakfast, staff and parking was fine

It looked like the furniture was relatively new. Bathroom had a tub that was very old and an ugly old metal door that was rusty and would not close. Mold in several spots in bathroom. At check in the man at front desk was unpleasant.

The staff cleaned it the The room was spotless, like new. I stayed 2 nights, and the room was cleaned after day 1. I dont think many do that anymore. The breakfast was maybe the best hotel breakfast I've had. My refrigerator didnt get cold, but I didn't really need it. They had a lot of really good options and there was plenty of comfortable seating. Their coffee is absolutely fabulous and is available 24/7. The bonus was that there was a restaurant and Starbucks within walking distance of the hotel. Would 100% recommend this hotel!!!!!

The toilet in my room wouldn't stop running. Front desk sent maintenance, when finished it didn’t work at all. Maintenance was gone for the day, so i had to move. Next room smelled like the past guest there was a smoker.

Unfortunately this was a less than stellar Holiday Inn Express, the room smelled of smoke, one of the queen size beds room 121 closest to a/c unit had a loud squeak, like a broken spring, the sink faucet was set opposite of how it read, hot on left by red indicator, but hot was to the far right. Many food options for breakfast but pancake maker was broken and buffet items were cold such as omelette, gravy, sausage.The cinnamon rolls under the warmer were great and the tables were clean and well kept. As a side note, there was a paper that we were apparently supposed to put on our dashboard but it wasn't mentioned and we didn't see it until next morning, for those were not towed, verbalizing that is necessary at check-in would have been helpful.

From arriving to departure, everyone and everything was perfect. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds and pillows. The shower was amazing. Fantastic toiletries. Couldn’t have asked for better. And it smelled so good throughout the whole building. Definitely worth it and will be looking forward to staying there again. Well done!

Other than that, things were mostly okay—almost. The woman working in the breakfast area really needs to understand that wearing gloves doesn't make it sanitary to touch everything. Wonderful hotel. Great room, great breakfast, great staff. My only complaint was there is no sign facing the highway. You can’t see the Holiday zinnia sign until you are in the parking lot.

Check in was ok. It was the 45 degree room when i checked in after midnight for a 3 hour nap. I spent it bundled in my robe i travel heavy with and all my clothing. I called the feont desk and apparently management allows housekeeping to set all the rooms to 45 degrees. Who on this planet sleeps in 45 degree hotel rooms. Their electricity bill must be astronomical. The management should be fired for allowing this.

The carpet needs cleaning. Our socks were dirty after walking on it.Staff was accommodating. We only reported the A/C smell and she offered a room change but we declined the offer.

We went to check in at 10 PM at night before flying out in the morning. The person at the desk said they had been without a computer since 2 o’clock in the afternoon. And we’re unable to book us in even though we had paid. We find it horrible that they didn’t send out an email between 10 two in the afternoon and 10 o’clock at night saying that we had to find another hotel. We ended up spending $60 more.

I reserved a room with two queen beds and when i checked in they gave me a key to a room that was already occupied. went back to front desk and was told that the only room left was one with a king bed so wasn’t happy about that.
