The lunch food was horrible. And they couldn't get the order correct so we just got a refund on the order they messed up more than once because they said the people who were cooking didn't speak English

I had been to this hotel for a work trip the year before & had booked 3 rooms during that event for myself and 2 employees. All had been great in 2025. In our stay for 2026, I had booked 2 rooms. One for my family (first time our kids were old enough to work the special event and join on a work trip) & the other for our other employee. My employee got there first & checked in. We got into town around 9pm. The hotel parking lot was empty with less than 20 cars total. We checked in & went to the room. The room didn't appear to be dirty, just a little dated & some older carpet. While unpacking, our youngest teen found a hypodermic needle (thankfully capped) tucked in the cabinet next to the refrigerator. Could be for legitimate medical use, but didn't want our kids exposed to any other potential drugs or paraphernalia, so we asked to be moved. Staff apologized & quickly switched our room. We opened the door to the second to find the room had not been cleaned, lights on, towels on the ground, bed unmade, food on the counters. Staff apologized & switched us again. 3rd room looked to be the cleanest, but had dried detergent w/chunks flaking off the sheets. The safe locked & the battery died. By midnight, we had our wallet back & tried to sleep.

Furniture in the room was a bit outdated. The shower mat for the tub was completely molded (with the mold smell). The shower was brutal. The water pressure was SO HARD. It was not relaxing at all. Other than that, the stay was good.

Breakfast Buffet had an adequate array of food, property is outdated and in need of renovations and updating, bathroom floor was stained but not dirty, tub needed replacing, flooring and walls needed replacing, had wall paper in the bathroom. Aside from cosmetics the hotel was clean and the staff were all very pleasant and professional. I would stay here again.

I was really disappointed in the condition of the hotel. The foyer seems new but the building with the rooms had stained carpet, dents in the walls. The description implied restaurant and bar on property but that is NOT accurate. Aside from free breakfast, there is a small case with drinks, bakery stuff and candy bars.

The room had a dead bug in the restroom and wad of long hair in a clot on the floor. Of our 8 day stay, the cleaning staff only cleaned our room 3 nights, which I was not happy about. We gad to go to the front desk for towels and toilet paper, due to this. For the $2500 price tag, I would expect the service to be provided. Breakfast was decent; the menu only subtlety rotates, but it did have a decent variety. The grounds are dog friendly, which is an extra fee. The hotel doesn't enforce people clean up after their pets...ruins this accommodation for others. Front desk staff was friend.

The most unsettling moment came at checkout. I always strip the bed linens for housekeeping, and that's when I found the exoskeleton of an insect. I don't believe it was a bed bug as there were no signs of an infestation, but it was still alarming. To their credit, breakfast was a genuine highlight: scrambled eggs, french toast, turkey bacon, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, and fruit, with variety rotating daily. However, the serving area was cramped and crowded, they only had half-and-half for coffee (no creamer), and there was no waffle maker which the kids look forward to. The gym was lacking compared to other locations in the brand as it had missing weights and equipment. There is only one laundry room for the entire hotel and it was out of service during our entire stay, which was a real inconvenience. As of writing this review, they have also not yet released the $100 deposit hold. Mediocre overall, especially for the Hyatt brand.

Didn't return to rooms until 2:30. Still wasn't told what was going. Breakfast was cleaned up and all put away before we even got down to it. After thing thst happened they could let it go for additional 1/2 hr or so.

Very inconsistent housekeeping services, had to ask multiple times for washcloths and coffee that was not left in room. Carpet was not vacuumed, room was not clean when checked in. Spent an hour in parking lot at 2:00 am last night there because of fire alarm. We will not return or recommend.

Was disappointed by the condition of the hall carpets; they need to be changed. My grandson tripped on a seam that was lifted. Also was not happy to see there was no coffee available throughout the day; most hotels have a coffee station for guests. The breakfast buffet was acceptable, but I believe they could have waited a bit longer to put things away, as there were a few people still eating when they closed everything down, including coffee, juice, etc. The pool could have been cleaner as well. Overall, the stay was okay, but I expect more from the Hyatt and will look around at other options before booking with Hyatt, as that is our usual go-to hotel.

The staff was pleasant. Sergio was inviting during check in. Cleaning staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good as far as choices of foods. The refrigerator was probably the worst part of the stay. It wobbled and did not stay shut.

Gym was well equipped and the breakfast had such a wide variety all three kids found stuff they loved.

For the price, this Hyatt does not deliver. Ice machines inoperative, room refrigerator leaked. Musty smell in room. Suite rooms very small. No in house restaurant. Staff were great, but overall, a very poor delivery for the price. We chose this Hyatt because it was more expensive than other local area hotels and assumed it would deliver based on the brand and price. It failed to deliver. Felt like the exact same delivery we could have gotten for $100 less a night.

The room was not clean. It looked like it had not been vacuumed at all and there was hair on the bathroom floor. We asked for someone to vacuum and clean up the hair in the bathroom the next day. They did vacuum but they did not clean the bathroom. There was a mystery substance all over the back of the bathroom door. The sheets were stained. The room needs some updating and repairs as well. There was a dirty plate left in the hall that sat in the hall for two days and no one cleaned it up. The front desk staff was nice and so was the crew who served breakfast. The cleaning crew however may need some training. I would not recommend this hotel based on our stay.

Staff was great. Breakfast was wonderful. The hotel just needs to be freshed up a bit. Rugs and funiture were slightly worn and were in need of replacung soon. However the rooms were clean and comfortsble. I wish the room had a microwave as well.

Overall, the rooms were clean as where are the hallways, but it needs an update and looks a little tired. There was a leak in our bathroom which was reported and could’ve been corrected very easily by changing out the shower curtain and they did not.

Absolutely horrible! Staff is so inconsiderate I was placed in a room right next to a staff only unit which I assumed was a laundry unit. I was woken up every morning of my stay by loud conversations in creole and Spanish there’s no consideration of your guest at this hotel. I am very dissatisfied with a Hyatt Place. Will not be staying at the Hyatt place in the future.

The carpet has stains like a mechanic lived in it and gum stuck in the carpet. The couch also was super dirty. The entire hotel needs a complete re-carpet and remodel. They don’t even have the pride to wash the exterior and it has green algae on the side of the building below the Hyatt sign. They did move me rooms after the first night and it was a little cleaner, but still extremely worn out with stand-up carpet that’s frayed everywhere. I 100% will never stay here again and I question if I want to continue booking through Hotels.com because it’s almost impossible to cancel or change.

The entire hotel felt dirty. The carpet was worn. Bathroom needed new caulk and tile scrubbed. The worst part of our stay was the sectional sofa. It absolutely smelled awful. The arms were so dirty and caked with junk. I put a sheet over it just to sit on it. The worst part was my son had to sleep on it. We were traveling and needed to get somewhere by a certain time so I didn’t have time to talk at check out about my dislike for the stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel until it has a complete remodel.

Bed was stained with blood and food. There was a dirty underwear by the headboard. Will never stay or book with Hyatt again. Was not offered another room and did not receive a refund.

/room reserved and that they would have to downsize me to a double queen bed room instead. Additionally, I was charged two additional times (4 nights) during my stay for reasons unknown. I never received an itemize receipt when checking out and when I called later to obtain an explanation of these random charges and an itemize receipt of my stay no one could explain these charges to me.

My first room was pretty deplorable. Roaches, overwhelming smell of mildew/wet carpet. Dirty walls with footprints & handprints, dated, chipped, water damaged wooden furniture, blankets with giant holes in them, stained linen, dried BOOGERS on a head board of one of the beds, mold growing on the headboards of the beds, stained carpet, stained decorative pillows with dried white substance/stains as well. They also do not have Smart TV’s. I was very disappointed, surprised, and embarrassed. The staff were all very nice. I left so upset and looking for another hotel room. It got very late into the evening, my children were tired and my husband accidentally booked another hotel too far away which I had a nightmare trying to cancel and rebook. Again, the staff were nice and friendly. I went back and they promptly switched my room. It was, shall I say….better, we were just still quite a bit traumatized. I highly doubt I would take a chance on the Hyatt Place again.

Overall the facility itself has seen better days. The furniture is starting to show wear and tear. The wallpaper is starting to peel, especially in the bathroom. The foyer furniture is worn and the elevator has dents and markings. Not a bad place to stay, just don't expect much.

The room was dirty and on one of the mornings I had absolutely no hot water in the room. I mentioned it to front desk and they didn’t have any solution but was aware of the problem.

The carpets and the place in general is not clean. I go here every month and I always get a congested nose and my eyes itch so much because this place is so dusty and full of dirty carpets. They need to be replaced. The place in general is not clean. I’m not staying here anymore.

I stay for 6 nights and they only clean my room twice. When i was leaving i checked under the beds and that was disgusten. The sheets smell gross like if they hadn’t changed them in months.

Maybe I expected too much from you “Hyatt”, but I am not satisfied this time. The AC and bathroom making noise all night long, the carpet is very dirty and smell so bad, the bathroom ceiling is low and lightning not bright enough, which makes people feel very oppressive.

I asked to see if they could finish drying them for us because I already wasted $3.00 & they said their dryers were full. ALSO Need to turn up the Heat for taking showers, Brrr!! I would recommend this hotel

The hallways smelled like weed and carpets where old and dirty. They let a homeless woman sleep on the lobby couch each night. Our bed was old and sunk in the middle.Overall..this place needs alot of work and updating. I have never seen anything like this at any other Hyatts we have stayed at. I was on a business trip and didnt have time to change my hotel. So we stayed away as much as possible. I will be talking to there corporate office. We get hotels to rest while we are conducting business. But this time...we are totally exhausted and disappointed at almost everything we seen at this hotel.

Starting of with finding used needles in my room, massive safety and health concerns. I tell the front end staff and they didnt even seem to care or show any type of concern. The changed my room and that seemed better. I believe the but another family in that room later that night, i am not sure. The lobby of the hotel doesn't have air conditioning or some time now i was there the first weekend of august and from what i was told it was out already 2 month prior. The room air conditioner stopped working on the last night i was there. Overall i do not recommend this place for anyone. Management is useless and corporate seems not to care either.

I was highly disappointed. When I walked up to check in a young woman with disheveled street clothes no uniform or name tag greeted me. Shirt was filthy and hair all a mess. I honestly thought I was being pranked by a guest. When I went up to my room I found no hot water, ac was vey loud, phone in room kept buzzing and stains on the bed and sofa. I was in absolute shock! I’m saddened to have to write this to be honest because I love Hyatt as a company.I checked out by 5am just to get out of there. The bathroom was the only good part. Disappointed big time!

The room smells musky, carpet needs cleaning, popcorn ceiling is old. Price was good but you get what you pay for. Staff was amazing and friendly. We could not hang out in the lobby due to the air not working. Bed was comfortable and air in room worked great.

The room, breakfast and front desk receptionist were awesome. The one downfall was when room service opened the door to the room the morning at 10 am of us leaving and asking what time we were leaving granted check our time is 12 pm.

Interesting stay to say the least! I was confused when I arrived at the hotel lobby by the front desk person who was wearing a shower cap and a food stained sweatshirt, wondering in fact if I was actually at the Hyatt! The lobby area was "teaming" with teenagers on a baseball trip, families checking in with excess bedding on luggage carts and plenty of yount children who were obviously staying here as well...... I'll let you use your imagination about the noise level at the hotel. In particular the hallways on the 4th floor! I was awaken both nights well after 1 AM by loud voices, yelling, running in the hallways and pounding on other room doors in the vicinity. In particular, some person was repeatedly runing up and down the halls yelling like they were being chased and injured by another party. I called the front desk out of both alarm and concern and asked that someone from hotel security come and check out what as going on . I was told it was probably just one of the teenagers and nothing to be alarmed about. Also she stated that there was no security at the hotel, she was there by herself, and was not going to get involved. I asked her to call the police as I was now fearful for my own safety and the fact I did not feel safe in my own room at this point. Finally said she would "come to the 4th floor and "take a peek" at what was going on. I heard some muffled voices later on but, after my call about the incident, I am not sure what happened.

The desk staff were helpful and friendly, they were the best part of the stay. The housekeeping didn't show up. The hotel is musty smelling, there was poop smear on our toilet seat in the first room we had. Scribbles in black marker on the couch, stains on the sheets. The pool had lots of bugs, including palmetto bugs. The included breakfast was pretty good. Overall the hotel needs some work, which is supposed to happen but who knows when.

When we walked into the lobby we immediately noticed it was warm. The ac was out in the lobby but not in our rooms. Our bathroom toilet had a stain on the lid. Our shower tile floor was cracked. The pool had a few bugs and debris floating in it. I expected more for what I reviewed on line from this Hyatt. Front desk and maid service was kind and efficient. The hotel itself could use some cleaning up

We stayed here with our pups for a local dog show and had a great stay. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious and comfortable.

No complaints at all! We stayed here to be central to many beaches just an hour or less away. They have a great continental breakfast with many options. The pool was very nice, clean, and refreshing!

The pictures of this hotel online are VERY deceiving- the pool was small, dirty and there were literally 4 lounge chairs total.....and they were the most uncomfortable chairs ive ever sat it. You needed a pile of towels under you just to be able to sit on them. Which brings me to the next issue- the entire 4 days we were there, there were no towel at the pool. And when you asked, the staff got irritated and said "go ask the desk". Our room had stains everywhere, from the floor to the couch....the fridge door wouldnt stay closed and there was danage surrounding the entire fridge....just from aesthetic standpoint, that should have been fixed......I took LOTS of pics. Looking back at the pictures online, this place looked NOTHING like we exoected. Very disappointed.

No complaints, friendly staff, clean room!

Awesome stay!!

The hotel was not well kept, rugs not clean, pool chairs broken, cups and towels in the pool. Overall I would give a rating of good, the staff made up for the lack of maintenance.

My overall experience was positive. The staff was friendly and professional. The property appeared to be clean and well kept.

It was good.

In town for some work. Excellent staff and check in. The Room was so fresh and so clean, clean.
