The room was very clean and smells good too. The staffs were very friendly and breakfast was good. I just love the atmosphere in the lobby and the games you could play. You have plenty of spaces to park. I would be staying there again.

Love the Tru this was my 3rd time staying here because it is close to my drs office that I have to go to and they are always kind and accommodating!!

I loved where it was located, I enjoyed the free coffee and the breakfast in the morning. Every staff member that I met, there was exceptionally nice. Tried to help us in anyway they could. We didn’t know it until the next morning, but our door did not lock when we would leave the room. You could just push on the door and it would open. They did come right away and fix it. second thing is,I believe there was small blood splatters ( about 6) on the wall by the light switch, inside door and wall where shower is. I called them and told him I felt there was blood on the wall and they came up right away and washed two spots. I don’t think they saw it all and said that it was an orange marker that they use. It did not look like orange marker and when I took a Kleenex, wet and wiped the first spot, it looked like blood. And when I went to sit on the toilet, the toilet seat swung to the side it was broken and only held on with one screw. But again everything was fixed immediately. Everyone was extremely friendly when I called came immediately to help. They changed the toilet seat. I believe they thought they wiped down all the spots that I thought were blood, but some were still there, but again every one that I met there was very friendly. They were very friendly, very helpful so just a few hiccups in the room that’s all other than that. It was a nice place to stay.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was good and the room was really clean. The traffic noise was HORRIBLE! If you don’t go to sleep until after midnight, you might be okay. It’s right off the highway so you can hear everything. Won’t stay there again for that reason. Didn’t sleep much because of it.

As of right now the address leads you to an empty field about 100 yards away on the other side of the hotel next to Tru. Other than that, no other issues with Tru.

Great place to stay

Rooms were clean. Pillows were kind of firm. We were looking forward to a nice breakfast since the prior reviews suggested a positive experience. The breakfast seemed below average. We had to wait on sausage to be cooked and it wasn't that great tasting. No waffles. Pancakes tasted like plastic. Eggs were undercooked. Definitely had better free breakfast meals at other hotels.

Room was clean and quiet. A couple lamps in the room are going out but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall I would definitely stay again.

We LOVE TRU hotels! When ever we travel we only look for a Tru to stay at. We love the convenience, the rooms, the beds and pillows, the shower, the check in process the staff is always incredibly kind and helpful and the breakfast is unbeaten! Parking is very limited.

I did like the breakfast here and the overall location is OK but it’s a little tricky pulling into the hotel and we had to circle back. My biggest issue is the rooms are very, very small and very noisy from the interstate. I was surprised the windows and walls were not more insulated for sound. We would stay there again at least it was clean for the most part, although there was mold around the bottom of the shower in our room.

Great housekeeping

Bathroom door did not close either. With a finger push it would open. Then between 2:00AM to 4:00AM we had a bunch of drunk people next to us shouting and laughing as loud as they could. Tried calling front desk and the phone did not work either. It had busy signal as if the front desk person unhook the phones so she could not be bothered. I tied calling at least 20 times. We could only sleep about 3 hours. We were to go to a wedding the next day but we were so tired that missed part of the wedding as we had to get some sleep. There were other issues too but the above was the worst of it.

The office chair in the room broke while I was in it, and I almost fell. Informed hotel staff, they only cared when they thought that I had hurt myself. Staff came to the room to ask about if I was hurt (with paperwork) when told no, never heard or saw from them again. Stayed a week and never got the replacement chair I was told I would get within hours. Never again.

Room was in pretty good condition although some maintenance issues in bathroom. Lighting was poor and only one chair. Room was clean but had a Gecko in shower. At least he didn’t try to sell me insurance!

Check in was good. The guy was super helpful and check in went smooth. The Second Lady was a little bit more rude with no personality. The room felt and seems not so clean and I noticed a lot of areas not so clean. Which irritates me because you pay a good amount of money to stay away from home and feel at home and I don’t feel that. Bathroom shower has some mildew area around the shower and felt sticky inside. I had to kill a bug in it. There are some stains on the wall too. Do better please. Noise is terrible. Right by high and super loud outside..

Overall it was good for a value based room. Seems like walls are paper thin. We had kid running up and down the halls during the evening which was loud.

Check in and out nice desk staff nice. Sleep was decent till alarm went off at 0600 hours. Very loud with flashing light on wall. First thought it was a fire, but turned out to be room alarm. I did not set it so surprised when it went off. Needless to say we could not get back asleep. Wrecked a fun get away.

We loved the breakfast and coffee. The room was a little dirty and had an ant and stickyness on the nightstand. The tile floor is just not very comfortable or welcoming.

The room was a little bit tighter than what I’m used to. But it was nice 😊

Staff was professional and the 24 hour housekeeping was excellent. All services were in working order and hotel was clean except side and out. The breakfast was above my expectations. Room offered every option available. Sleep was great in the warm comfy bed.

My room was small. No good place to place luggage. No closet. There was a small area above the microwave to hang stuff, but my dressed went beyond the area and ended up touching the microwave.

First time was a charm. Came back the same day after checking out and got a room that was dirty. Earlier in the day tried asking a housekeeper a question, she told me she didn't speak english. Later she see me with dog food and a bowl and asked if i had a dog and followed to see what room i was in.

This is my second stay at a Tru this time in Ft Worth and I specifically picked it due to my previous experience in Dayton. I especially like the lobbies which are very homey. I spent I think more time in the lobby than in my room. Snacks drinks games and comfortable seats bring me back.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included and free parking. The only upgrade they can do is replace the pillows which are extremely soft and thin. Next day waking up with neck pain. Not just me but my daughter and wife as well. We need to put some of our clothings underneath the pillow for better neck support. Overall is great experience with this hotel.

You can never go wrong staying at a Tru by Hilton. They are always clean and very modern. Typically always in a safe location.

Negatives? The only desk/table in the room was a foot away from the AC. Bedcoverings, blankets were thin and sparse. Zero overhead lights, very, very little free floor space. Only chair was a basic desk chair. TV was placed to only watch from bed. Well lit bathroom, great large shower. Below average breakfast.

Quick stop for business, only stayed to sleep and leave early. Area was loud with road noise and no blackout curtains so it was Cory bright lights and highway traffic all night. Clean enough, not sure about any amenities.

Traffic on 35W was louder than I expected. It was Saturday night and there a bunch of loud cars and motorcycles racing on the interstate

This wasn't the worst hotel I've been in and it wasn't the best. First off, our room was pre-paid for but upon check-in I had to pay a surprise $100 incidental deposit that would be "refunded in 5-7 business days." Then, the first room we received smelled like men's cologne trying to mask tremendous body odor. We asked for another room, The clerk was very nice and apologetic. However, the 2nd room smelled like cologne as well. The 2nd room didn't have the body odor smell, but when we laid down late that night we noticed that the comforter smelled dirty like it hadn't been washed in a long time. Upon further investigation we noticed how dingy it looked. We ended up taking it off and just sleeping with the sheet. I'm assuming they're using some kind of cologne smelling air/fabric refresher to mask the smell of not washing the comforters. Aside from being out an extra $100, the smelly 1st room and the nasty comforter, everything else was perfect and the staff was friendly.

Overall our stay was good, the hotel was very clean. Kid and puppy friendly. Breakfast was ok we mostly enjoyed the pancakes. I would book this hotel again.

Room was as bare bones as they come. Very small, no coffee, no closet, no blankets, terrible pillows. Traffic noise from the freeway was terrible all night long. Nowhere near as nice as other hotels costing considerably less.

Overall, I had a great experience at this Hotel, staff was incredibly helpful. The room was wonderful, clean and you can’t beat the price.

The only thing I didn't like is the noise you hear at night, the cars, the footsteps, etc.
