It was in a quiet location. Sleeping was sound. Staff at Reception desk not friendly. Pointed out that reservation was made through a 3rd Party. Insisted on a $150.00 deposit for potential damages. That was a 1st. Coffee or Tea only available in the lobby. Ice maker was disgusting. I have pictures
- 1/5
The stay n the location was fine I just didn’t see the 150 extra security deposit for one night stay that threw me off
- 5/5
Ashley at the desk was courteous and professional. She's dedicated to the mission of assuring everything from checking in to check is without incident. A great asset to your brand. The hotel is great and I will definitely stay there whenever I travel to Frederick in the future.

Bobby and breakfast area we're having a renovation. I was expecting a breakfast and got to grab and go bag instead. I'm sure the works completed by now and the place will be great

Location was great very close to the park where we were having an event and gave us very good access to Frederick in the surrounding. Bobby and breakfast area we're having a renovation. I was expecting a breakfast and got to grab and go bag instead. I'm sure the works completed by now and the place will be great

Comfortable beds and very clean They changed the name of the place and I wasn't aware of that,so I was looking around for it not realizing it was changed but that was honestly the only thing and that wasn't really a bad thing

Clean, friendly staff The breakfast did not include protein like eggs at the least.

Had I been aware if the construction, I would not have booked this hotel. They should have been honest about that.
- 3/5
Good time there

Very centrally located to Francis Scott Key Mall & Monocacy Battlefield. In the middle of name change/renovation. Breakfast was extremely lackluster

Looks like the hotel is being renovated. However, even the renovated rooms still look run down. The carpets in the room and in the hallways felt "sticky". The room was clean, however, the sheets and matresses looked old and run down. All areas reeked of a weird smell. The hotel lobby looked dark and run down. Most areas still had '70's decor. The staff were SUPER friendly and very helpful. Just the esthetics of the hotel was terrible.

Arrived to pleasant looking room but bathroom shower was running nonstop. Shower couldnt turn off completely. There was a very small tv without streaming services option. No hair dryer. Good place to sleep, and breakfast was good.

Wouldn’t stay here again. The staff were nice. Room wasn’t in the greatest shape. Lots of extended stay guests.
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was friendly
- 5/5
Rooms and hotel is clean and spacious. Vending machines and ice machines on each floor. Queen beds are very comfortable
- 1/5
14 inches of snow 3 days ago still haven’t plowed parking lot and the breakfast is terrible
- 1.5/5
The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was clean. The coffee maker, fridge and microwave were great to have. The basic cable TV service was a nice surprise. The heating system was easy to set for continuous comfort. The lighting is absolutely awful. Bright, glaring overhead lights with no dimmer and no lamps. I turned off the overheads as much as possible and put a light on in the bathroom through a slightly opened door to make it a bit more tolerable. It was also very noisy. I could hear almost everything going on in the room next door. They had two dogs that would bark at people coming and going as the doors banged shut. Their TV was on till 2 or 3 AM and kept me awake and they had a very loud argument one night. I didn't sleep well at all for the two nights I was there. The breakfast was skimpy with the only options for a hot meal being a toasted bagel or english muffin although there was a waffle iron and batter to make a hot waffle I didn't even attempt that seeing that the only utensils to eat it with were flimsy plastic. No way I was going to cut that waffle with that plastic knife. The coffee was good though.
- 4/5
Very convenient location I stay there often. Only ding is that rooms a lot of times smell smell of smoke in non smoking rooms.
- 4/5
Breakfast was ok not what I thought it would be.The location wasn’t bad the mall was close by. They wouldn’t give us extra towels when I asked. Some staff was very nice while the night shift seemed more interested in the dog they had behind the desk then the customers
- 4/5
Breakfast was good, as I expected.
- 5/5
This was a very nice and clean hotel and very quiet
- 3/5
The room was very stuffy when we got there and the room had a weird smell to it. Blankets on the bed were not comfy.
- 5/5
Very clean place staff is very pleasant. Received a lot of help from the staff.
- 1.5/5
None Smell of marajuana in the hallway
- 4/5
Clean room. Front desk staff were very pleasant and kind. Seems to be lots of construction? Empty beer cans in stairwells and old doors stacked (potential hazard). For the rate and last minute no real complaints.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the front desk personnel was patient and understanding
- 5/5
Staff was excellent and my stay was amazing and comfortable!
- 2.5/5
Cost Marijuana smell in hall. Breakfast was not sufficient. Bed was hard.
- 5/5
Loved the staff! Very accommodating and personable. Only downside of things were the toiletries and the lights didn’t work in my bathroom. Ergo, things were very clean and comfortable and I had a wonderful 2 night stay :) thank you!
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff helpful.
- 1/5
The breakfast had old hard bagels and pastries, it said continental breakfast. the milk for the cereal was warm, the waffles was the only hot stuff, when you pour the batter the tip of the batter came out thick a like it's been used for days before so the tip was dry and lumpy. we did eat we had to buy breakfast somewhere else.
- 3/5
Very old and outdated
- 4/5
Room was very clean and quite nice considering how reasonable the price. Staff was friendly and very helpful. My only complaint was the coffee was objectively disgusting.
- 3/5
The hotel is under renovation which will be a perfect time to change out the mattresses. The room was ok - what you'd expect at the price point. Pillows were plentiful and soft. The capsule- shaped shower was very nice (already renovated?) and roomy with plenty of hot water. There are some negatives though: the bed is hard as a board and although the heating/cooling unit works great, if you like a cool room at night, you're going to be cold. The blanket is as thin as it gets and not warm, and the bedspead is more like a pretty shower curtain. The sheets are super soft though. Lastly, the towels will take a layer of skin off. Check for bathing essentials. We didnt have any shampoo. No extra blankets either.
- 4/5
Excellent value for the price! As a woman traveling with a child I felt very safe at this location. Breakfast was a little lacking.
- 0.5/5
Decent price Awful noise the first two nights, unbearable. The staff didn't care. Third night I was locked out and no one was at the desk. I waited 30 minutes. I asked for a refund and to leave and they refused. Complained to morning manager and they said they didn't "have the authority" to give a refund. Awful service, and no sleep due to terrible screaming and noise in adjacent rooms.
- 4.5/5
I paid with breakfast included but surprisingly in the morning no breakfast,
- 4/5
Good place in Frederick and all was nice. Would stay here again.
- 2.5/5
Someone walked in to my a guest
- 3/5
Room was a little beat up
- 3/5
The ac unit was hard to keep cool or warm
- 1/5
The bed was broken and front of bed was on the floor! Food and debris were still on the floor around the dressers from people before us! Old and dingy and the glass window was filthy dirty, and had a bad smell. Requested a different room because the area was sold out with the color fest and other festivals that weekend. They refuse to give us another room and we’re very rude. Told us to take it or leave it and didn’t care about the broken bed or the room not being clean.!! as we were leaving we observed a filthy so-called breakfast, which was pathetic. It appears it is a crackhouse seem to be a lot of druggies and bad characters around the building. There’s dumpsters around since they are apparently trashing the building, but it needs to be condemned. Certainly would not recommend anyone to ever go to this place and the staff was horrible as well.
- 4.5/5
Should have extra blankets, and an iron that works.
- 5/5
Nice upgradrs
- 4/5
Speedy check in
- 1.5/5
Location is okay. They clean the room only 2 times per week and only for longer stays. Nobody tells that information until you realized that your room is untouched. Carpets are in horrendous shape and all the facilities look extremely outdated. Also, nobody is expecting a premium breakfast but they provide something pretty much less than an regular breakfast.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean. Front desk staff was very friendly. Rooms are on the smaller side. If you are traveling with a family it will get a little cozy in the rooms. Breakfast was very simple. Not a ton of options. Good enough to get the job done when you need a place to stay with a family. If you are a solo traveler, space is more than enough if you are into simple traveling.
- 2/5
Bathroom in room 312 tile was installed poorly and the carpet has several stains and tears in it. Sunday morning, someone was banging the doors at 930am several times. Room service was already cleaning rooms at this time. Told the front desk about the doors banging and was told it was probably a guest that they have had problems with.No offer of a discount for the inconvenience.
- 2.5/5
Location was great for our purposes. Convenient to downtown Frederick, easy to access, and there was plenty of parking. Also, the beds were unusually comfortable, as were the pillows. We both got excellent sleep. There were a lot of little things that could have been better, but nothing out of the ordinary for a budget hotel. Also, they are undergoing renovation, so there was some construction noise, but nothing unbearable. The weirdest and worst thing was that for some reason they had decided to turn all the room minifridges down to the warmest setting, and then remove the knobs so they couldn't be adjusted. This essentially rendered the fridge unusable - we wound up getting a lot of ice from the machine and treating it more like a cooler. When I called to ask for someone to perhaps bring pliers to adjust it, I was told the way they were set up was intentional, and while the front desk person did agree to come take a look at it, no one ever came. Since a fridge in the room was something we specifically were looking for, this was pretty frustrating.
- 4/5
Been there several time. Mattress is sort of worn out that made our sleep uncomfortable. Feel like I’m sleeping in bowl
- 5/5
Staff very nice
- 5/5
The front desk people were very nice
- 1/5
The staff mocked us for needing a room (I paid extra for) with a bathtub for accessibility, one room had urine soaked into the carpet and was still wet, the next room started smoking from the radiator in the middle of the night setting off the fire alarm 3 times, and the next room change was infested with roaches which the manager and Expedia refuse to address. Other tenants bothered and approached my family more than once and the entire building smells of smoke and garbage.
- 2/5
The staff were polite and friendly.
- 4/5
Polite staff, clean room, plenty of parking
- 5/5
Place was lovely. Staff super nice.
- 1/5
One staff member mentioned that everything is broken and they do not plan to repair or replace items.
- 4/5
Overall a good stay. And have no issue staying again, as I frequent the area at least once a month. Room had an odd smell but wasn’t overwhelmed enough with it to want to swap rooms.
- 2/5
Was in town to attend a bridal shower for my nephew and his fiancée. The room stunk like old water but luckily I had a bottle of Febreze spray in my car. I sprayed the carpet and it made it better. There was a nasty smell (I think sewer) coming out of the drain in the middle of the bathroom floor so I had to cover that with a towel.
- 4/5
Great hotel for the price you pay. Everything you need for a quick stay. Comfortable bed, good ac. My 5 star rating is based on the things you get for the price you pay.
- 5/5
Only annoying thing is a dim light in the room that don’t turn off.
- 2/5
The people in the room next to us were very loud after 10 pm; the orange juice machine at breakfast was broken and no alternative was provided. The rest of the breakfast was average, at best. The water dispenser in the fitness area was empty. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but we could have had that at a cheaper hotel.
- 5/5
Easy parking. Felt safe to park and walk around. Beds were nice and comfy.
- 2/5
Juice machine broken, tv was broke had to change rooms, I guess they’re going to be renovating the building and they are not fixing anything… but they’re still charging the same price.
- 5/5
This was a really enjoyable stay. Very easy to check in and no wait time. The room was clean and looks exactly like the picture
- 4/5
Quiet tucked away property with enough amenities and a decent price.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Comfortable. Quiet. What we needed was a quick inexpensive overnight. Neighborhood was safe. Plenty of restaurants around and other shopping. Easy on and off main highway.
- 3/5
When I first entered my assigned room, I perceived an odd odor. Then when I tried to watch TV it would only turn on. The remote would not change the screen or channel in any way. The desk clerk promptly moved me to a different room which worked out well. The hotel lobby, hallways and common areas are drab and dated and dingy. But the rooms were nice, bed was comfortable and the shower had both hot water and good water pressure. The exterior was in great shape as well.
- 5/5
Good value & Quiet. Close to restaurants.
- 4/5
The room was clean and very quiet. Comfortable sleep and easy on and off the highway. Only complaint was the breakfast was sub par
- 3/5
The water pressure was very low. You could hear every little noise the other rooms made. There were ants on the counters where the "breakfast" was.
- 3/5
It’s a basic hotel that is perfectly fine for an overnight stay. It’s a smoke-free priority and they even have you sign a document committing to not smoking in your room or there is a fine to pay; however, stepping off the elevator onto the fourth floor it immediately smells like stale cigarette smoke and this smell carried into the room.
- 3/5
This was clean enough for us to stay and sleep for 7 hours. We won’t go back to this location. Older building, outdated, used hard, AC was loud, plus loud noises around the hotel.
- 3/5
Air conditioning in the room worked. Good pressure and temperature in the shower. Room was clean television operated with good quality picture and selection of channels. Property overall is a bit dated. Good value for the money.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, great price, whats not to like
- 3/5
Near popular restaurants. Air conditioner went out
- 5/5
Nice and quiet
- 5/5
It is located near a shopping plaza. Easy to find. Typical Sleep Inn.
- 5/5
The hotel is in a great walking spot for shopping and dining. It is clean and comfortable. The only negative thing was their continental breakfast. Very limited choices, especially for children.
- 4/5
Adequate
- 5/5
Amazing. I will stay again, plus there is a wawa next door..
- 4/5
good visit
- 5/5
I love this hotel always a pleasure to stay here
- 3/5
The hotel had definitely seen better days. The bathroom was extremely small and I was shocked at how small the shower was. As soon as we walked out of the elevator there was a smell and our room smelled extremely musty. I was shocked when we came back around 8 pm at the number of people who were just hanging out in the hotel parking lot that clearly weren’t staying there. Ultimately, I decided to not spend the night even though I had already paid for it and drove home.
- 4/5
It was a comfortable business trip stay. The breakfast wasn’t that great ; all fresh fruit and pastries though , however, not the traditional hot breakfast. Thank you.
- 5/5
We stay here every year! It’s clean, and the staff is great!
- 1/5
Before I write this I do want to say the front desk was very nice, but I do not recommend this hotel. My initial room had a foul and potent odor to it. The front desk was very nice and switched my room, but even the second room was not up to my expectations. There were stains all over the carpets and chairs and I felt uneasy walking barefoot or even taking my clothes out of my suitcase and touch and surfaces. The AC control was really sticky and overall I felt very uncomfortable the entire time. Both computer chairs in both rooms had stains all over them as well. The bathroom toilet paper holder was also broken in the first room. I proceeded to travel to Richmond the following day and I stayed in a hotel for the same price that was 10x better
- 5/5
Easy to get to
- 3/5
The accommodations were very poor and not convenient at all.
- 5/5
The only comments they had that weren't wholly positive were that the coffee was not good, and it would be good if the reception team were more uniformly dressed. Other thsn thise minor issues, it was a great stay for them, and a great visit for us!
- 4/5
I love it
- 5/5
It was a business trip and this facility in this area suited very well with a lot of amenities. It’s very clean and comfortable. The staff is excellent thank you.
- 5/5
Stay here for every horse show
- 1/5
Wow just very bad. Overpriced. No sleep at all
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Safety and quiet
- 5/5
It was a clean room, hot shower, and soft bed for an affordable price.
- 4/5
Great stay, clean accommodations, pleasant staff and quick check-in. Free breakfast is always a plus. Only complaint is that the shower water pressure was almost non-existent.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Will stay here again, Good place in Frederick
- 2/5
From paper thin walls to loud obnoxious patrons, this hotel will not be on my pick.
- 3/5
Hotel is basic, nothing fancy, but a bit dated. Clean bed and that’s all I needed. Breakfast was very minimal.
- 1/5
I would have rather gone rustic camping. The Kind size bed had half pillows on it. Yes, half.. They were like squares about 20 inches long. I called the front desk and they basically couldn't help. They said its what they offered. No king size pillows on the king sized bed. The pillowed smelled terribly as well. Then there was late night parties that went on until 4:00AM. I am not kidding.. loud talking, music. The Bass from the rap music penetrated the room and wouldn't allow us to sleep.. You'd think the front desk would do something about it...
- 1/5
Terrible. Please read the reviews and go elsewhere.
- 5/5
.
- 2/5
Don’t stay here, if other option are available. First room we were assigned had no working TV. The young clerk tried to fix it, it appeared someone my have tried to remove the TV. He provided another room. In the second room, the shower had no control handle. The clerk called in their handyman who was able to take a handle from another room (are you getting a feeling for this place?) handle from another room and got it to work, but only if the new handle was held in a certain position. Needless to say, if are are ever in this area again, the Sleep Inn will not be an option
- 2/5
The mattress was ancient and uncomfortable, I'm pretty sure there were bed bugs and I got bit, but didn't realize it until we got home, just hope we didn't bring them home with us! The shower had absolutely NO water pressure, we couldn't wait to get out of there. The staff was probably the best part of the hotel, they were very nice.
- 3/5
The room was clean and the surrounding area was nice but the room was small and cold when we got into the room. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would like but service was good at the front desk.
- 4/5
Very clean.
- 2/5
Needs upgrades, deep cleaning badly
- 5/5
All was great
- 2/5
This hotel needs immediate major renovation.
- 4/5
Stay was spot on, i unfortunately had to kill 2 large bugs in my room and someone was smoking in the room next door. The smoke was going into my bathroom and it stunk it up a bit but it stopped right after that. It was quiet and the room was good though.
- 5/5
Nice people
- 4/5
Great place computer mail function could not check in for several hrs
- 5/5
I appreciated the pleasant staff, nature-based decor, nice room, and, most importantly, cleanliness
- 1/5
This hotel needs to be renovated. Housekeeping services is terrible. They don’t service your room when you’re out. No offering of clean towels or toilet paper. I won’t be wasting my money here again
- 5/5
It was a short stay, only one night, but very pleasant sleeping conditions and pleasant people to communicate with at the main desk.
- 3/5
Clean, friendly staff but rooms and facilities worn and dated.
- 5/5
We like the hot breakfast.
- 5/5
I absolutely enjoyed my stay. It was walking distance to anything you need and it was quiet and clean. The only thing i would change is i wish that they would have separated the guests more. I kept hearing doors slamming on our last night there. Other than that, it was fantastic!!!!!!
- 3/5
Room had an odd smell. Main lobby elevator did not always feel safe.
- 5/5
Best deal in town
- 1/5
Hotel needs some major remodeling, I had a room on the 4th floor and the roof leaked so bad thru the ceiling it woke me up, I put towels down and figured on moving to a different room the following morning but then it started leaking on my side and splattering on my face. I moved rooms at 2am to the 3rd floor, the entire hallway reeked of cat urine. You have to request housekeeping and when they do come in its just to make the bed and give you towels, they do not change the sheets or empty the trash. The breakfast is nothing to brag about. One night the cops were called due to a fight in the hotel. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.
- 5/5
It was easy to get to. I could park near entry door. Staff at desk was delightful. I was comfortable.
- 4/5
Pleasant & clean. Inexpensive for the area of Frederick MD.
- 5/5
My room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. It was very quiet and they had plenty of parking. My only small annoyances were the toilet paper dispenser was difficult to use as it kept snagging and the shower was very loud, it sounded like a small generator lol. Other than that it was a great stay.
- 3/5
The property was ok. However, the room had a weird smell, like cigarette. Even though i booked a non-smoking room and the beds were terrible. I felt as if i was on a water bed. And a staff in the morning, when approached to refill the breakfast area was very rude in her attitude.
- 4/5
Muy limpio lo que no funcionó es el extractor de aromas del baño
- 5/5
Was participating in 160th Monocacy Civil War event. Close to everything. Had to Bering back one person to cool down from the heat. The associate at the desk let 7 of us have dinner in the breakfast room. Much better than sitting outside. Thank you so much for the hospitality.
- 4/5
I would stay again
- 1/5
Smells
- 4/5
Staff was superb!
- 5/5
This hotel was very clean and in an area with lots of dining and shopping. It sits next to a mall, but still quiet and peaceful. I like the easy access to everything. I’ve stayed here many times and never had a complaint.
- 2/5
The service was not great at all. I notified the front desk of an issue with connecting to wifi in the room. The response I got was go the the lobby. I notified the front desk a 2nd time and was told there was nothing they could do. The grounds was not presentable. Grass was overgrown in the front of the building and on the sides. Little to no options for breakfast. I will choose to say elsewhere in future visits to Frederick.
- 3/5
No complaints.
- 1/5
Nothing for breakfast
- 1/5
Really worn down..front desk doest seem like it ever gets cleaned. Bad carpet in the room.
- 3/5
Very basic accommodation.
- 1/5
It was not what I expected from the pictures that were online. The rooms had a funny smell and the bathroom was super duper small and the closet also. It was very poor quality.
- 2/5
privacy curtain didnt block view from outside. ok on upper floors, not ground floor. Bath vent fan bearing making a lot of noise. reserved room wasnt made up. was shifted to another. Due for a remodel
- 3/5
Walls are SUPER thin. You can hear everything from hallway and next rooms. TV in room was not operational
- 2/5
first room we received had bedbugs on the third floor. Asked for another room due to it not being refundable the front desk happily gave me another room on another floor that room was okay. Dirty carpets and smelled funny but we stayed anyways.
- 5/5
Very comfortable beds. Clean. Have to call front desk to have tv turned on
- 3/5
This proprty is aging. TV didn't work.Carpets clean but old. Bathrooms drains didn't function. This is my 2nd stay and it is comfortable for a nihjt.
- 4/5
Good place to stay in Frederick
- 3/5
Hotel allowed smoking, so we smelled it throughout the hotel and in our room. Also, you could hear all of the noise from other rooms while you were in your own hotel room. Staff, though, was friendly and nice. I likely would not stay again due to the noise level and smoke.
- 2/5
Room was in a sorry state when we received it.
