Breakfast was terrible. Front desk was rude and seemed to not want people there and the pool was closed. It looks like a rundown apartment converted into a hotel.

The air conditioner was excellent. It was hot outside but the AC made our room very comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable. The kitchen is perfect for an extended stay so I will keep TownePlace in mind for future reference. There were clear signs of water damage in the bathroom and there were no efforts to repair anything. Instead, paint was applied over the damage and a wooden veneer was applied over the side of the damaged vanity. The toilet had a high pitched whistle every time it was flushed and the cable for the TV kept cutting out. Lastly, I was using the spare comforter to bundle up in at night and as I was folding it before check out, I discovered a brown smear on the corner

We reserved the 2 bedroom suite, it was great for our family. The kitchenette was stocked with everything we needed. The living area was small, a couch for two people in a two bedroom unit. And only 2 seats at the table - and if two people sit there, the bathroom door was blocked. There was an older woman setting up breakfast one morning, and would not allow me to grab a pre-made yogurt out of the mini fridge on my way to work - her response when I asked was, “breakfast doesn’t start for another 5 minutes!” Not accommodating at all - it’s not like I asked her to make me eggs or anything.. just a Yoplait from the fridge. There was a different woman there on other days that was very pleasant.

We booked our stay for 4 but they only had 3 towels in the bathroom. I complained about the coffee pot at 8:00 in the morning went back at 6:00 still no coffee pot. They gave me one they found. No one emptied our trash or refilled the toilet paper. I had to go back at midnight to get some because we ran out. I was very disappointed

The water was also shut off and we had to get an other room at 11 to be able to shower and get ready for check out. Breakfast: nothing to brag about, they ran out of food and do not refill. Checkout: receptionist was nice and took out number down but never got a call back. Check out

When I actually went to do some swimming in the early evening, I had to have the front desk open up the pool area because they had pad locked it shut. It was obvious that they were hoping guests wouldn't use the pool area. Also, the sign indicating that the hot tub was out of service looked like it had been out there for weeks. It was getting crinkled from the exposure to the elements over time. When I called Hotels.com to file a complaint about the hot tub, the person at the front desk of the hotel told the Hotels.com agent that they had called me prior to my stay to inform me about the situation with the hot tub. This simply wasn't true. Beyond this, breakfast was horrible with almost no choices. Interestingly, there were a number of high grade condiments, but absolutely nothing to put them on. No eggs, no bacon, no biscuits and gravy, almost nothing. I had an almost identical experience with a Townplace Suites last summer in a different location, so I am beginning to sense a pattern: Hot tubs out of service, nothing for breakfast, so I won't be staying with Townplace Suites any time soon.

Great service from the front desk, excellent breakfast too. Our air conditioner kept the room extremely humid and smelled a bit like mildew. The quality of the front office, hallways, and breakfast room was all top notch makeover from the hotel it preciously was, it did feel like maybe the rooms weren’t completely finished in their transition to TownePlace suites. Unrelated to this rating, but the EV chargers outside [and not run by the hotel] were extremely problematic, I finally got one to work after about 30 minutes.

I enjoyed the hotel room. It was clean but could have been more updated. I enjoyed the cozy apartment style of the suite. The first day my building had a horrible smell. It may have been from someone cooking as the suites do have kitchens but the floors should have air fresheners. The hotel also offers free breakfast but I would suggest to skip the breakfast. If you are low on cash they its decent but other hotels offer better breakfast. The most clean and updated part of the hotel was the lobby. The effort of the lobby should be added to the rooms.

We were on vacation with my elderly in laws to Yosemite and were evacuated because of the River fire. We live in San Diego so driving home at 7pm wasn’t an option for us and we have our dog with us so the only pet friendly hotel in the area with semi good reviews was hometowne suites. We check in and are told we’re being charged an extra $100 for our dog (checked in at 8:30pm and checked out 8:30am mind you). We go to our room which smells moldy and found dead roaches in the living room. The AC also was not working and wouldn’t cool below 78°.. it’s 110° outside… so we go back to the front desk and let them know so they put us in another room on the 3rd floor on the other side of the building. We get to the new room and try to turn on the TVs in both the bedrooms and there was only one remote. For three TVs in the suite. This morning when we got up we realized there were only 2 towels. This is a 2 bedroom suite so why were we only provided 2 towels? We then go get the free breakfast provided that’s a frozen jimmy dean biscuit that we had to take back to our room to heat up in our own microwave. Thank goodness we had brought our own food but then realized there were only 2 forks in the kitchenette. Again a 2 bedroom suite and only 2 forks? The staff was helpful in moving us over but the hotel itself was very outdated and unclean and the new room wasn’t much better. We had to pay almost $400 for a subpar room that we were in for 12 hours. Do better, Marriott!!

Only thing is, I have two small children 3 and 4, we should not have been put on the second floor. Kids play around too much. And if we were put on the second floor no one should have been put in the room below us. The hotel was not full enough to have to be placed like that. Because my kids were playing around we recieved complaint calls about the noise.

Absolutely the worst stay I have ever had at a hotel. My wife and two children and I checked on a very hot July 16 2020. The first room had a broken AC and after an hour in the room we asked to switch. They put us in a room across the hall that smelled so badly of smoke that we all had a headache within minutes. We asked to switch the a third room, when they moved us to the main building. It appeared to us that families were put across the parking lot so that the main building would stay quieter and nicer. After the first night being ok, the room seemed to be working out for us. After swimming, my wife took a nap in one of the bedrooms in the afternoon. While watching TV, I heard my wife scream for help. I went in to the room and found a gaping hole in the ceiling with dirty water pouring through onto the bed. It continued for ten minutes until workers could shut off the overflowing toilet in the room above us. In particular my entire bag was filled with fecal water. They moved us to a third room that had absolutely no toilet paper or bedding for the second bed. Before continuing on our road trip I asked to speak the manager. I was told they were not there. I left my name and number, but never received a call. I then called weekly for over a month and was told no manager was present. Finally I spoke to a manager and discussed how the insanity of our experience and some form of compensation. She said she would get back to me and never did. Literally crap water

Unfortunately I don't have good comments about the condition at this hotel. It literally has been kept up at all. There were multiple patched marks on the walls. The curtains dont black out the lights from the parking lot. The TV is so old and small and is hard to view from the bed, only from the sofa. The grout in the bathroom was old and moldy looking. Now I know why the rate for the room was so low. I expected more from Marriott Springhill Suites. Very friendly staff. Probably doing their best with what they have to work with. Photo show tiny TV and old room colors.

Simply the best place we have ever stayed! A little on the pricey side but well worth it when you find out all the ammenities that are available and there is a real kitchen with a real stove and oven and even a garbage disposal!! They have pulled out all the stops! And they provide u with EVERYTHING-papertowels in the kitchen and tissue in the bathroom. Extra linens in the closet. They have blenders and crockpots and bbq tools that u can borrow. The Pool is open with limited access (one room at a time for an hour each time) and they even provide pool towels.THE STAFF IS EXCELLENT!! THEY ARE WELCOMING AND SUPER KIND AND THOUGHTFUL!! Not good experience. I am not too picky but do expect a clean room, especially during COVID times. I luckily had cleaning wipes with me because I had to wipe the entire place down after finding some black hairs in the sink, shower, and on desk, I am blonde. The hotel definitely needs at minimum some repairs. Under the sink in the kit he’s was warped and rotting and their was clumps of dirt and debris in the bedroom air/heat blower.

The beds were comfortable, although the sheets and pillowcases showed lots of wear (holes and some edges shredding). The kitchen was well equipped with big fridge/freezer, stove, oven, etc. however we only were given 1 fork and it took several days to get more, and were only given 1 dishwasher soap packet (we were there for 7 days). With the limited number of dishes we had to run the dishwasher almost every day and constantly had to request more. There was no sponge provided to wash dishes by hand, although they provided dish soap. They did not provide coffee filters for the coffee machine, and when requested said they didn't have any. The carpets looked clean but turned the bottoms of my feet black so bring slippers. There was also a strong medicinal/stale cleanser smell so bring air freshener. I requested a room refresh 3 times before I got one (new towels, remove trash, etc.) and had to eventually take out my trash when I saw a housekeeper in the hallway. The staff were all very nice, and the hotel was quiet (except our last two nights when children were running wild in the room above us). Internet is spotty but runs great if you pay an extra $5 per day PER DEVICE (learned that the hard way). I would still stay here as it was comfortable and I felt safe, I would just be more prepared for the things mentioned above.

We totally enjoyed are stay except for the fact that they only offered what they call a grab & go breakfast. Which means you basically get a muffin & coffee & juice for breakfast in your room. There is plenty of room to have tables outside for people to eat on & not be basically be confined to their rm. People are sick of it

Individuals yelling all throughout the night, Cars speeding by the complex Stray cats crying Rooms are very dated When we notified management of a loud room party 5 times from 1:15 am - 3:25 am they down played it and the party went on and kept my family and I awake the entire night. I have stayed over 60 hotel nights this year and this is by far my worst experience. JODI IS THE ONLY BRIGHT SPOT ABOUT THIS HOTEL SHE DID ALL POSSIBLE TO ACCOMMODATE US the morning after. Christian did absolutely nothing when there was an all night party directly above Our hotel

Convenient with a full kitchen. Breakfast was fair. I dislike sausage and would of been nice if they would of served bacon as well. Room doesn’t come with the amenities such as shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.

This was a great option for a family of 5 with three full size teenagers— a two bedroom suite with a great price from hotels.com. Clean, comfortable, friendly, and a good free breakfast. Three t.v.s and a kitchen. (The sofa bed is a little small— good for kids or needs a topper, but it is a sofa bed.) I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The weather was great and the hotel is in a great location. Shopping and food are a very short drive away. Also four National Parks are within driving distance. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and my wife and I enjoyed our four nights there.

After coming home from a late dinner with my fiancé on the eve of our wedding. We find our children to with what looked like deer ticks sharing the bed with them. On our 15month old was on the pillow we killed one on and the a 2nd on the comforter in the same bed. My fiancé killed 1 with her hands and is no worried if she contracted something from the tick blood. We checked out at 12:02 mid night because that was the grossest thing I’ve seen at any hotel me and my family ever stayed at. EVER.

The suite was clean and comfortable. However, my sister who stayed in the smaller bedroom said the mattress needed to be rotated as it listed to one side and made her feel like she was going to roll off the bed.

They really need to clean the carpets in the rooms. They really stink like feet and shoes. Although they switched the rooms for us, they still smelled like feets and peoples dirty/smelly feets.
