The hotel was new, very clean. Rooms were spacious and Staff was Excellent! Very close to shopping, Restaurants and Toyota Soccer fields.

Water pressure in the sink was very low and maintenance checked it out- could not increase pressure

I didn't get a chance to stay for breakfast. The customer service was excellent. She greeted me with a smile and she was very warming and inviting. I personally didn't see anything that need to be changed other than the check in times. Maybe check in should be around 12noon or 1pm instead of 3

Because there are kitchenettes in the room, our room had a very strong food odor that was overwhelming. The room was clean. Bed a little firm for my liking. Shower curtain was so short it would hardly stay inside the tub. It was okay and provided what we needed for 1 night.

The bed was the best I've slept in in a hotel - comparable to my bed at home!

The a/c heater would not adjust. It was hot in the bedroom but cooler in the living area. We were on the top floor and heard something in the ceiling. I told front desk lady who said she hadn't had any other comments but would get it checked out.

The hotel and staff were nice. Our only issue was that (and they did tell us this) they did not service the room daily throughout our weekend stay. Not a big problem but for a major hotel chain, I had not seen that before.

The 5th floor hall had a very disgusting odor. I had to put towels at the bottom of the door to keep the odors at bay

Hotel was conveniently located in Frisco near the Toyota Stadium, restaurants, shopping and the weekend farmer’s market. Hotel itself was clean, comfortable and adequately supplied with kitchen items. Comfy bed, fluffy towels. Outdoors, the patio area offered a bbq grill we took advantage of and a pool we did not. Conditions of the outdoor space could have been improved by fixing broken items and general clean up. Overall, was very pleased and would recommend to others.

Mickey and Tyler were great. The younger lady with glasses was cool too, but it was this one lady, I wish I got her name but she made me feel unwelcome. I’m sorry I dont have her name but she has a beautifully placed birth mark on her face. She said the staff should not have given me the rate I was give , which was not my fault and l cried all night. I don’t like drama and confrontation, I just felt like she could have kept that comment to herself. I don’t even ask for a discounted rate. I wish people had more emotional intelligence when dealing with the customers. I’m a nice, civil person but the next person may not be. She needs coaching for sure. I will not be frequenting this hotel again.

I was checked out of the hotel by an employee prior of my departure time. I asked for a card key replacement and was checked out. No one offered to make it right by the mistake. No discount of any kind. they only offered a "I'm sorry for the mishap". I've stay here several years before around the same time and expected a better response!!

What made it more frustrating is that our family members had a separate room and their AC had no odor at all, so this was clearly an issue with our specific room. We mentioned it to the front desk right away, and to their credit, they came up and sprayed a fresh scent inside the AC filter. While it helped mask the smell for a short time, it was more of a temporary cover-up than a fix. This isn’t on the front desk staff, they did what they could. The real issue is with whoever handles the cleaning and maintenance. There’s simply no way they could clean that room and not notice such a strong, unpleasant odor. Luckily, we only needed the room for sleeping since we were out running errands all day. Still, it’s disappointing to pay for a space that wasn’t properly maintained. With better attention to cleanliness and maintenance, this place could match the quality of its staff.

Nice place however shares pool with hotel next door and your food delivery usually get messed up and sent there instead. However the hotel was clean offers free laundry workout room close to lots of things

Although staff didn't "look" professional, the lady who checked us in was extremely nice, helpful, and wanting to accommodate us for our trip. Although it's not necessarily pool weather yet, it wasn't very clean and there was lots of confetti from the holiday prior celebration all over the ground in that area. Other than the cold pool and dirty pool area, the rest of the hotel was nice. Really liked the check-in lady. Check-out lady didn't have much personality.

I stayed at this property multiple times this year. One thing that always struck me was the front desk staff never greets guests as they pass through the lobby - coming and going. It's like we don't exist. Poor customer care/value.

Check in and out was quick. Room was spacious and had everything you need for meals. It doesn’t include breakfast but there are plenty of options close by. It has a full size fridge with icemaker , stovetop, MW and cooking equipment

We didn't get to stay at Candlewood where I made the reservation and even took out the insurance that they would have a room waiting for us. We had to stay at the sister hotel Holiday Inn express.

We stayed here for one night but will absolutely stay again! Having a little, fully stocked with pans, plates, silverware, glasses, toaster etc., kitchen was SO wonderful for our family. We didn’t eat out the whole time which saved us so much money. Everything was very clean and comfortable and quiet. It is right by a HUGE soccer complex so traffic was a bit of an issue at one point but not terrible. They also have a lending locker with games and books and other items, laundry room, and small gym. Would be a great place if you had to travel to the area for work as the room had a desk/table and office chair. Overall a great stay and we will be back!

Front desk agent did not honor the room type booked, and would not or did not understand how to make corrections to the accommodations for the remainder of the stay. I would not recommend property if you are looking for a professional staff to suite a business trip.

This is one of my favorite hotel in Frisco!!!! The check in person was “ok” not bad but not good on the arrival of my stay. I been more than a few times and I love it!

I was staying for 9 days as I was in town for a High School graduation & assisting with the preparation leading up to that graduation. The hotel was really nice, I was okay not getting any room service for my entire stay though it states on a card in the bathroom I should receive 1 cleaning per 7 days I was there. The front desk did say if I needed additional towels to let them know which wasn't necessary as I had plenty for the extent of my stay. I loved the kitchen option as eating out 9 days in a row would be expensive. My BIGGEST issue though is the billing. No where was it stated that I'd get billed 1 night a week before I showed up, In fact what was stated was I wouldn't get billed until I arrived, which I was told I would be charged the remainder of my stay 8 nights as I was already billed for 1 night, plus $75 for incidentals. I paid my balance when I arrived, but was then charged another 2 nights the following week on night 7. which included ANOTHER $75 of incidentals. I was told by the manager that their system only charges for a max of 7 night stays so my bill was broken up which again never stated anywhere or explained to me when I checked in. Typically when you stay in a hotel you state how many nights you're staying, pay your bill when you check in, & you're done (granted more if you drink from mini bars) but case in point it should all be handled at check in not whenever they feel like charging you.

The hotel was nice and clean, the staff were great. I only wish they offered breakfast! And last thing since when did the $50 dollar deposit jump to $75? Seems a bit high. It seems like the hotels put the deposit against your account immediately, but it takes 5 to 10 days to return the money. Overall not a bad stay.

Excellent experience during our first stay at this hotel! Great customer service!, staff was very friendly, attentive. Rooms and entire property very clean, very well maintained. Added plus is hotel is within walking distance to Toyota Stadium if you ever attend an event at the stadium.

Horrible customer service

The first night we checked in there was a bad musty dog smell in the room. We asked if we could change rooms however they stated there was only a double queen available and it was only available for 1 night. The blinds also did not close all the way. The second day they did a smell treatment on the room and it was better when we returned. However the next night the smell was back. They did fix the blinds. We could tell if the smell was coming from the AC or the chair. The rest of the room was nice. We liked the extra room and the kitchenette. The fitness room was nice. The property was nice and had a convenience store area. If it hadn’t have been for the smell we would’ve enjoyed the stay.

My room smells like indian food. Its suffocating like it was never cleaned. The bathtub leaks water from the faucet.

The sheet didn’t look clean. Once I pulled back the comforter, the sheets had a lot of particles on them. I wasn’t aware of the additional charge of 75.00. Which was added to my bill durning the hold, when I arrived at Candlewood Suites. But overall, we enjoyed our stay.

One person manning the whole property (?) when we arrived. Check in was so slow. TV/Cable issues.. nobody to resolve. Told the front desk person when we checked out and she didn’t act like she cared. Clean place, bare bones.. There are more and better options in and around Frisco TX for the price.

You guys charged me for a hotel stay that didn't even have a complete booking and you're now refusing to give my money back

I was a bit disappointed to be denied a late checkout while trying to attend meetings in the morning and then get the family out the door by noon. It was our first time traveling with our 5-month-old.

Location and cleanliness

The reason this property gets 3 stars is because of the convenience to the soccer fields, nearby restaurants, small kitchen area, and a separate king bedroom in our suite. BUT the floor was filthy. The a/c unit in the living room wasn't cooling properly and they wouldn't send anyone to look at it. There was nowhere to walk the dog in a dog-friendly hotel, other than a few patches of grass? There was not a full set of silverware, maybe one or two of each piece, and the knife wouldn't even cut an apple. On top of all this, I left a very nice phone charger in the room, called a few hours after checking out, and no one could find it, which means it was stolen.

Disliked the pullout couch. Horrible mattress, not much sleep was had. Used the recliner for a bit of rest.

Simple and cozy, close to the Toyota Center and has all the essentials. This is a no frills, nice and clean place to stay.
