Parking was a bit clunky, not a lot of clear signage. Stumbled in the parking structure. Underground spaces are small, recommend finding outside or second level.

Nice to see the property has been renovated.

Room was great. Staff was wonderful. Carmen behind the bar did an excellent job and the food in the restaurant exceeded expectations. The location worked great for us as we attended a high school graduation. The room air conditioning was very loud.

I like the cookies at check in and the complimentary water in the room and the Jacuzzi is exquisite. Super relaxing the bed was super comfortable. I was not able to connect to the wifi, usually i shouldn't ask for the password and it wasnt provided on the little envelope with the room key.

Long check-in waits on Friday evening. The staff is polite but no efficient. We walked underneath giant Cobb webs to get to our room that cleaning staff ignores. Parking garage building entry door out of order when needed most at night. Then no damn cookies. Get it together Double Tree.

Room (King bed) was spacious and bathroom clean. Ample desk counter space and lounge seating. Pleased with Crabtree bath products. Of course, hot baked cookie always a nice touch a DoubleTree hotels.

nothing captivating to share. i was a bit bothered that when checking in, i asked the gentleman if i can have a late check out (noon) and he said yes, i will put it down on here for you. then as i am getting ready to leave the room prior to checking out, the front desk lady calls stating "it is 1140 and check out was at 11. do you plan on extending your stay?) i said no, i spoke with the gentleman last night and he said noon was okay.

Construction near our room - horrible experience

Ice machine needed to be cleaned. This black slimy stuff was all ice the ice that came out so I didn’t use it. Informed the front desk. .

Everything was great until 7 in the morning some construction workers began working on our window! Insanely loud banging drilling continued until we left. my husband and i were so upset we posted videos to yelp. next time make sure there isn’t someone in the room before beginning construction. what a waste of money.

Was a bit put off that our room was near the elevator and ice machine, but we didn't hear a thing. Nice clean facility. Definitely a SoCal preference hotel!

This is the third time staying at this hotel, and it’s been great every single time! Staff was great, rooms were clean our jet tub that we paid extra for did go out the second day, but we were immediately helped and relocated to another room. Nothing too major to mention, except on the second day, we did get ice from the ice machine, and there seem to be big chunks of grey stuff in it and not too sure if it was mold or not. :( will still definitely stay at this location again.

It was a simple room but it was clean! Everyone is nice and helpful. The only not so good thing is you can hear people from the next door but it wasnt a problem at all.

It was raining outside and the room had a very heavy scent of humidity and felt stuffy. Also upon checkout found droppings behind the bed, look like rat droppings but not sure.

Good enough space for 4 people. Close to amenities. No breakfast despite Hotels.com saying it was included. Room outdated. Have us 2 towels for 4 people. Asked for more. Never delivered. Never delivered 1 extra pillow. Room with AC smelling like mold. Lots of threats towards my service dog as if he weren’t a service dog despite vest and registration presented, and excellent dog behavior. Unpleasant exchange during messaging before checkin. Overall a 2.5 stars. Wont stay there again.

Great staff. We arrived late as we drove in from Arizona. The staff was plentiful and very welcoming (even at that late hour) the room was very clean and comfortable. The freeway noise is very noticeable and kind of loud but if you just pretend that its real windy outside youll sleep just fine. 😄

I was charged for smoking in the room even though i dont smoke. I used the room for a few hours while working in the are Didnt even sleep there. Woke up to a 250 charge and the rudest manager who hung up on me multiple times. She threatened to ban me from all Hiltons. I will never stay there again. And just to be clear i Didnt smoke in the room. I Didnt even sleep in the bed. Didn't take a shower or use a towel. It's so outrageous to even have to deal with this. I paid 550 for a 250 dollar room for 4 hours. No mess was made. Oh and it was Thanksgiving morning to top it all off.

The bed was huge, the pillows were fluffy and there was a reading light attached to the headboard of the bed. I had a small sofa in my room with lumbar pillow and a large, cushiony ottoman so I could put my feet up. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I will certainly stay there again when I go see my daughter in college.

The king bed room we booked was spacious, clean, smoke free and quiet. Staff was friendly at check in and check out. Parking was no hassle and close by. The bar was pleasant and convenient.

We enjoyed our stay overall. I would have given 5 stars but you can hear noices from other rooms. We can hear noices from the room above us and next to us. I would stay here again we can easily wear earplugs to block out that extra noise. Room, bathroom, sheets smelled and looked clean. Staff was really nice and attentive. I would recommend but if you're light sleeper maybe bring some ear plugs. There's a Denny's steps away as well as a gas station and some breakfast and BBQ place. I would recommend and definitely keep in mind next time we are in the area.

My room was cleaned like clockwork! I didn’t use the restaurant since there were at least 5 options very close by. The bar was quiet and friendly, especially the bartender Carmen!

Water bottles in room stated a fee, but the front staff said that it was free.

We loved all the little touches - personable staff, free parking, the warm cookie - it all made our brief stay memorable. The lobby was clean and stylish. The room was spacious and had cool touches - reading lights in the headboard and superior mirrors in the bathroom. We will be back next time we come to Fullerton!

Really liked the pool. Was walking distance to CSUF campus. Several restaurants located in walking distance. Was clean and two girls traveling, we felt safe.

Hotel is clean, friendly, close to highway for good access. Unfortunately not many restaurants or interesting places nearby. No breakfast offered.

The neighborhood is not the best anymore, as there are several homeless people that sleep in the parking structure. But the hotel is amazing. I completely enjoyed my stay and intend to come back next month.

For crying out loud, it’s a little motel hotel in Fullerton. This part ofFullerton is a decent neighborhood right across from the college.

We had dinner and drinks at the bar, Carmen made great cocktails, her customer service was outstanding, and the food was very good 👍. We also breakfast, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my vegetarian needs, kudos to the cheff and server, the food was delicious 👏

The room was very nice and comfortable. Check in went well. When I received my invoice and charge on my account after checking out, I was charged for four nights instead of two. I have contacted the hotel but they have not called me back to straighten this out. Do I deal with the hotel or Expedia to solve this problem??

The stuff was friendly and the hotel is new.

The bathroom had a very strong sewage odor from the beginning and won't go away. When we were in the room or during the night time when we sleep, kept the toilet lid closed, fan turned on ans bathroom door closed shut so the smell does not leak into the bedroom.

It was amazing and relaxing, looking forward to return and hopefully enjoy the room service once grill is finished from being remodeled.

The place was clean as the rooms were renovated. Room 519 had an ac unit that was uncomfortably loud when it ran. Lobby, bar and restaurant were under construction. Luckily there was a Dennys in the same parking lot, so probably better food anyway, if that's possible. Hotels.com did not tell us this until after they took our money on a non-refundable booking about the construction. Typical bait and switch. On a good note the staff was lovely and accomodating.

Hotel was under severe renovation. No restaurants or even proper front desk so hard to rate overall. The room was comfortable. Beds were good and bathroom was big enough. Would stay here again if in Fullerton. Lots of things around for food. Lots of parking.

When i booked the hotel, there was no mention of consructioin going on at the hotel during our stay. I was made aware of the constuction via email AFTER my reservation was made.

We had a great stay in a suite with our family. Clean and quite.

Welll I was warned in advanced of the construction in lobby so that was on me but the room window to back parking lot of Dennys and main street has a slight opening to it so we heard cars driving and doors slamming all night

Everything went according to plan. I would stay at DoubleTree again.

The room was great, it had a hot tub with jets, clean, comfortable, and spacious. What wasnt great was front desk lady. An older lady who has poor customer service skills was very unhelpful and passive aggressive. $200 charged to my card, yes charged! My account was missing $200 from Doubletree. The money was supposed to be a deposit ( alot for a Doubletree but whatever ). I was told it would show in my account after i checked out. A week went by and no money. I called the hotel, and was told to wait 7 buissiness days, why? The lady was quite persistent that my account wasnt charged, and that the money was only placed on hold during my stay. She kept saying that it showed as void on her computer and refused to look into it further. I called my bank to make sure i hadnt made a mistake. Nope! The bank verified that Doubletree had charged me $200 and hadn't put it back. I called the hotel again and the rude lady told me that it could be up to 10 buissiness days. Wait...wasnt it voided? She refused to help in anyway. I had to file a claim with my bank in order for Chase to replace my money. I wrote a letter to customer service cooperate, i myself worked at The Disneyland Hotel for 12 years, and would never treat a guest like that. The rest of the staff were great. That being said, if i dont hear from Doubletree, there's always a Hyatt near Hilton properties. I'm sure they will appreciate my buissiness.

The covered parking was very nice and felt safe walking into the hotel. Liked the fact that key cards had to be used to access the elevator and parking area doors.

The jacuzzi tub was awesome, but if like to have a more secure bathroom for privacy.

I finished gathering my items & before I can leave the room around 7-10minutes the room phone begins to ring again. I don’t answer because I am walking out the door at this time. My assumption is the front desk calling again to ask me to leave quicker & not even bother to verify the check out time given to me. I live in town so there may be no reason for me to return to his location EVER but I definitely will seek accommodations elsewhere next time.

friendly reception. did not like the room- (stayed on tye 2nd floor) our view was the concrete level of pool. room was the the cleanest.

It's not the greatest area of town but it's for relaxing & appreciating your room especially w/ the jet tub and we can watch TV from it. Only a few rooms have it. The pool is small and the free cookies were hard but All else was good & we will return.

The bed sheets made my skin very itchy. Took a good amount of time to get warm water from the bathroom sink. Multiple signs of water damage in drywall and ceiling.

Was in town for a football game. Great room with good amenities. The only downside parking was poor.

Less than “fresh” smell in the lobby, and the front desk man was not a breath of fresh air either. Room was nice and clean. Area was a little sketchy but fine….my car was still there in the morning. Super convenient for CalState Fullerton campus.

Most likely the most quiet hotel I have ever stayed in. The people working there were all very efficient and nice. Had breakfast and it was very good as well with great service.

There was an issue with checking in virtually and the front desk person was not pleasant to work with. If I didn’t speak Spanish, I don’t think I would have understood what they were really trying to say to me nor they understand me.

Room was clean and the property overall was taken care of. Manager and the employees park wherever they feel like it. Some f-150 was parked on the side of the office or in front of the office all the time. He needs to park his truck and learn what a hospitality business is. Plus he creates a blind spot that just isn’t needed.
