This hotel was perfect. You walk in the door and it smells amazing. They even have free cookies at the front desk. The breakfast was very good too. Sausage, omelets , has browns, cinnamon rolls . Plus all the regular stuff like cereal or yogurt. Really beautiful hotel with super clean rooms

The place was very nice, but Joe makes the time you spend there special.

There was a terribly loud and persistent noise coming from the thermostat and heat/cool unit in our room. It started up about every five minutes or so. Even after we turned it off it made loud noises like an industrial refrigerator. 👎

The front desk staff was amazing. Especially the evening manager, He was just great. Knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. I was super impressed by him. The hotel was in good shape and clean. And breakfast was hot and well put together. If I was in the area again I would return to this hotel

The bathroom was not clean. There was only one cup in the room for use and it was open. The second bed had not been changed; it had something on the sheets that looked like dried up snot on it. Makes you wonder where else the staff is coming up short. Breakfast was only half out and the equipment was not working. I’ll give them credit that it was almost time for breakfast to be over. I just expected to be able to have all the choices until the stopping time not before.

The room was very nice! Mine was on the 5th floor. The elevator went out several times and people had to be rescued. One elevator was out all 4 days and one worked at times BUT people got trapped in it and had to be removed several times.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and staff pleasant. Breakfast was very good. Elevators needed work and / or upgrades. Parking was convenient and safe.

The property itself was decent. The staff for the most part was nice. There are a few bad apples in the bunch. The check out process was not the best. Felt as if we needed to be a diamond member for certain amenities to have. But for a nice property to stay at and have a decent night rest and ok food. Not bad

The staff are very nice and helpful but a lot of them are taking breaks right in front of the hotel and smoking. This is throughout the day suing my 3 night stay. Everything else is very nice.

I was in room 406, with 2 queens, the beds were so comfortable, and have both firm and soft pillows. The room was modern, had a keurig, was spacious, and very nice! Only negative is the walls have some stains/marks, and could use a good scrub, and the tall light in corner by bed, the switch area was quite dirty. In the shower, I found the shower head to be a bit low and while water was hot, the water pressure could have been better. Also only 3 bath towels provided for a room that can accommodate 4 people. Breakfast was fantastic, it ends at 9:30am daily, which is great, and there was plenty to choose from! There was a pile of bacon, 2 types of eggs, 2 types of sausage, and lots of other items, although pancake machine was out of order. Plenty of tasty cinnamon rolls left too! This hotel was a fantastic value, was clean and modern, absolutely beautiful, and I really enjoyed my stay overall! Plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby and it is right off the highway and easy to get to! Plenty of parking too!

The room was in fair condition. Giant stains on the carpet. Breakfast was gross. Everything was cold or room temperature at best. We went down right when breakfast started expecting everything to be hot and fresh. Pancake machine was already out of batter. The orange juice was basically orange colored water. We’ve stayed at other Holiday Inn’s that were fantastic. This did not meet expectations.

The man at the front desk, I believe his name was Joe, was amazing. The room was clean and pleasant to be in. The fridge was a great size and the bed was comfortable. The one issue I had was I left something in the room. (I know I should have tripled checked but it was about 5am and we had to leave.) Upon leaving I realized I left my $100.00 hair dryer in the room. There was no way anyone went into the room yet, so I called the front desk. After telling them what happend, what I left and exactly where I left it, I was told we could swing by on our way back home and pick it up. That is exactly what we did but were told nothing was found in the room and there wasn't anything in lost and found. I find this odd as I gave clear direction on where it was and what it looked like. The maid working said she would check the maids areas and bins but came up empty. I just find it funny that a room no one has been in after I left, that something would grow legs and disappear. Fully understand that it was my fault for forgetting it, but it just seems as though someone took it.

It was absolutely terrible. The bed had hair embedded in the comforter, and the bathroom shower was disgusting-the shower was nasty and dirty and there was hair in there as well. I was highly disappointed this time!

Check in was delightful. The clerk was cheerful, informative, and welcoming. A truly personal experience. The room was clean. The breakfast was refreshed often and warm. It served my needs well being close to Cowpens National Battlefield.

Loved our stay, breakfast set up is lovely. Staff are friendly and very responsive, thank you for the hospitality.

We checked in at 3pm and were given a wheelchair room. No idea why. I asked for pillows that were not down (due to an allergy) and was told there were none. Fire alarm went off at 6 am. We raced downstairs and were told it’s fine “because the alarm stopped.” Bread products were okay but pancake machine broken.chicken sausage was vile.

TV guide did not work. The front desk came but was unable to figure out what was wrong. Was not corrected during our 4 day trip. Room had a moldy smell and everything was damp. The conditions were not pleasant.Kind of OK

The young man who helped us at check-in—I don’t remember his name, but I think it starts with a J,he was very kind and gave us a warm welcome. This is our third time at the hotel, and this time was the best of all because of the way he explained everything and received us,for is he nade a big diferente and the lady in charge of the breakfast was very efficient she was on top of every detail .

Room was nice but had a damp feeling & smell to it. The toilet also ran continuously & was quite loud. We were onky there for 1 night so it wasn't worth it for me to request a room change. I just shut the bathroom door & made sure to mention it as I checked out so they could look into it.

Was a good family trip overall, however, on our last night my vehicle was vandalized and the manager did nothing to assist or accommodate for the damage. Several other cars were vandalized also. Need to add security before I stay here again

We enjoyed our stay, were pleasantly surprised the hotel looked brand new! Our room was great, location and amenities were ok. The only downsize was the road noise, maybe if we had a room on the other side of the building it would have been better. Overall, we would stay here again, recommended it for sure.

The WiFi is horrid. Nothing would load. They still have directv and it stormed so had a couple hrs no tv. The fire alarm woke me up at 2 or so in the morning.

Holiday Inn Express is close to the interstate, lots of shopping and there are several restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and beyond helpful. They were eager to help and answer any questions.

The front counter attendant was extremely friendly and helpful. Check in was fast and smooth, and she made sure we had everything we needed. Great customer service!

Our room reeked of dog urine. It was so disgusting. I can understand how housekeeping didn’t have the rugs cleaned before allowing a guest in the room. The smell was coming from the rugs. There wasn’t another room available that could fit our needs to we were stuck with it. Won’t be staying there again because I’m not taking the chance of that happening again. We stay in that area frequently so will be searching for another hotel.

For the most part I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, the beds were ready. Some of the staff, however, were rude. If not towards us, we witnessed a few interactions between other guests and staff that were just too much.

Only stayed one night as it was for business. Room was nice and clean, bed comfy, Dove products for hair & body. Only issues - a/c cut off during the night so I woke up sweating, constant beeping noise coming from somewhere near the bed/electric outlet - never could detect it, never could get to a deep sleep. TV had closed caption, but could not turn it off - couldn't use the remote to make any selections or changes other than off, mute, volume up/down... Be sure to get snacks/drinks from their snack store downstairs before going to your room - otherwise you'll have to go down in your jammies if you need something to drink... no vending machines on any floors.

Upon arrival I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. Hotel room needs updating and better maintenance. Not the quality of stay that I expect from an IHG hotel.

Our stay was descent, our bathroom wasn't up to standards for a hotel with high standards. While taking a shower yucky grime started showing up on my feet. In-between the glass doors had not been cleaned in a while, the hot water was breaking it loose. The hotel said they coukd bot do anything for us because we used hotels.com but the appoligized.

Excellent stay

The best part was the lady on duty when I checked in. She was polite respectful and friendly. She would talk and joke with you. That is very rare in people today. I probably wouldn't stay anywhere else.
