I liked thr location near everything and the event I attended The room was tight, only one sink in the bathroom and ,the TV was on the wall and could not be seen from the bed near the window. I did not sleep well do to the car and train noise.

Air handler was so loud it was unusable. In fact, you can hear other room’s air handlers from your room. Was put in a room above the outdoor bar seating and had to deal with so-called grownups drinking and being loud into the early morning hours. You can literally hear every noise in your room as if the walls were paper thin. 2 of the 3 mornings there was no hot water for showers and the breakfast was less than average at best. Finally, be careful you don’t hit the furniture when opening and closing the blinds and watch your shins when moving about the cramped room especially going from the bed to the bath. Would not stay there again.

The air conditioning turned off and on all night which was a little disruptive. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean.

First room I got, there were 2 used condoms in the trash can. The front desk clerk was good to move me to a suite, but made me question the cleanliness of everything

We always enjoy staying at this hotel because of the close proximity to family in the area. We love the location within a walkable shopping area with dining options. I will say this location is starting to look a little worn- at least on the second floor. Also, our corner room was nice and spacious but had a funky smell that was a bit off putting. We bought some air freshener and took care of that issue. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating.

Nothing comes to mind... everything was very marginal to say the least. Guess you pay the crazy price for staying at the name of this property. Nothing at all at this property justifies the 280+ USD nightly cost. However, how much of that did Booking.com "pocket"? Breakfast is another "marginal" portion of this property's service. Just enough to say they do it but they "DEFINITELY" don't win any awards doing it. Some of the worse coffee I've ever drank and I was in the U.S. Military.

We had to go to family function Friday thru Saturday. We called for early check in and they accommodated our request. The staff was very friendly.

I am recovering from a knee injury and wore a knee brace during our stay. The bed was lumpy and this made sleeping with a brace uncomfortable and difficult. Although the pillows were quite thin, we asked for additional ones, and this improvement greatly enhanced our comfort.

The hotel in Gainesville, VA was really nice. The room was nice and clean and it felt really cozy. I was able to check-in early, which was very convenient. Overall stay was excellent. Will most likely book here again in the future.

LOVE THIS HOTEL!! We have stayed here several times now and really like the size of the rooms, the quality of breakfast and bar service in the evening! It's location is superb for shopping and all of the amenities around it. We will stay here every time we visit our kids and grandkids!

The hotel’s location is close to restaurants, stores. It’s very clean and up to date. There’s no freeway or train nearby. We will stay again. The staff is very nice. We liked everything. We can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

This was the nicest hotel stay we’ve had in a while. The staff were so friendly at check-in, the rooms were clean and well appointed, complimentary breakfast was delicious and the pool was the perfect temperature. My family slept wonderfully and had a really nice experience.

The placement of the bathroom directly across from the bed was weird.

The room could have been cleaner and we went down for breakfast at 9:40 and they were taking everything down in a way that you literally couldn’t access anything while there are two other families still eating. Very disappointing.

It is about 5 min a way from jiffy lube live. There is alot you can do like shop,eat and watch new movie at the theater nearby.

How expensive it was….knock off 100 dollars and it would be perfect.

Very friendly staff. Beds comfortable. Nice shower pressure. Close to tons of restaurants and stores that you can walk to. Mile and a half from concert venue.

The check in process for the hotel was very smooth. Unfortunately, when we got to our room, we found that there was some sort of mold on the carpet underneath the air conditioner that literally had a mushroom growing out of it. We took pictures, presented them to the front desk. The manager did move our room to an upgraded room, but we were told there was nothing more they could do with the exception of any drinks we want would be on the house because I booked through Expedia and not through them directly. I did expect the room to be a little brighter from the pictures on the website, the air conditioner was noisy, and overall just disappointed in the room and that it was not what I expected with what I paid for the room. The staff was very friendly and the manager did appear very upset about our finding. We visit that area about once a year for concerts and unfortunately, I can say that I will not use this hotel again.

This Property is one of the best if not the best , Clean, up to date , smells good, no insects, walking distance to the movie theater and shopping center about 10 feet away literally if you have the extra money stay here

The room was great. Very spacious and clean! The front desk service was excellent and fast. The area was so convenient to all shopping and restaurants, ample parking and nice safe area. My only suggestion would be the Continental could use a little better variety. Less breads maybe just meats, eggs, potatoes. There were only two bfast sandwiches offered and sone ppl can’t eat bread. Overall though it was an excellent hotel.

All the staff was very friendly and helpful, our room was very nice, found out they even had complimentary toothbrushes and such available at the front desk after realizing we forgot to pack ours, overall great experience.

Called a day or two ahead for early checkin inquiry. Lisa at the front desk stayed on top of it for me and even called me that morning to let me know that my room was ready for my arrival. Top-notch service!

This time my room was infested with ladybugs (killed 12 of them just in one 24 hr period) crawling up the walls or falling from the ceiling over my bed. The carpet under the window had a few more dead ones. The desk of my suite had some kind of dried crustiness smeared across it. When the heat would come on, the radiator would eventually start rattling really loudly. Both water glasses in the coffee nook were caked in some dirty brown film. On Thanksgiving day, the minimal maid service (just towels and trash) never showed up to my room.

My stay at Spring Hill Suites was a nice one. However, one annoying detail is that the doors while shutting are heavy and extremely loud making it difficult for a guest to get a good sleep. There is a noise ordnance from 10:00pm until 7:00am; however, with guests coming and going at all hours the noise from the slamming doors is extremely annoying. Perhaps there is something that can be done to keep the doors from slamming shut.

We have never experienced such a personal experience at a hotel. We were staying there for a family funeral and there was so much compassion expressed for us by the staff. It was very special.

This location was great, it was close to Target and other stores so when I forgot a few things it was nice to have options close by. The staff was great. My only complaint is the shower, there was no hand held sprayer and no place to put your foot to shave your legs.

The room doors need to close softer, we woke up many times at night to the doors slamming shut.

Stayed here for 4 nights recently and it was excellent. Staff very responsive to whatever you need and every amenity is within walking distance. Really comfortable beds and a small guest laundry (but only 1 washed and 1 dryer). Note that despite the name it is not a suite, meaning there is not a separate sitting room but there is a partition between the beds and desk/sitting area. Even easy to park here. Great all around!

Hotel and staff were lovely. Main issue was that we booked a king room and got a queen. There was no adjustment to the price and nothing was offered to offset the inconvenience.

We really liked it and would stay there again. When we asked that the room be cleaned, the did a very good job, except that I had some papers and receipts on the desk and they were discarded; the soap was not replenished and there was a little mold around the shower pan. The doors on the shower did not properly close, resulting in wet floor all the time you used it.

Great location and super friendly and efficient staff. Rooms have an odd set up, which I did not care for, as you actually can't see part of the TV screen while in bed, the bathroom is too close to the bed and the walls are thin allowing you to her neighboring conversations. All-in-all it is a great property, especially the staff, but it is unreasonably much more expensive than nearby properties offering more spacious and appealling accomodations. Yes, the location to dining options is unmatched for anyone on foot, but if you have a vehicle, which you will likely have to get to the hotel, the extra $50-$75 a night seems a bit extortionist for a suburban hotel offering rather small rooms only.

Just a nice clean quiet property

It was an overall good experience, however they need to add some speed bumps to the front of the property a lot of cars were speeding through, and we had a small child present with us.

Only negatives was the room HVAC which was loud during it’s on/off operation.
