Staff was friendly Both beds have failing mattresses. There was a warn out hole in the mattress that was worse than a pot hole in a highway.

Night auditor was a little difficult to understand, shampoo was out in the shower, had to get out and retrieve a small bottle near sink, air conditioner was either too cold or too hot

Location for our stay in Gallatin was excellent. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was offered as part of the price of the room and included the basic essentials but could have used a few more items. The workout room needs a bit of attention with just three machines and the elliptical, although functional, didn't seem to be working as it should (and was not plugged in).

Now that is the definition of a flea bag hotel. The inside of the doors were dirty. Do you realize how long you have to go without cleaning for the inside of the doors to be dirty?

We were checked in by an unsmiling front desk person who seemed put out when I asked for some additional hangers (there was one in the room). In the breakfast room, there was no hot water for tea -- just tea bags (and fortunately for us, we don't eat breakfast). The room itself was in need of attention. The mini fridge was so loud we had to unplug it in order to sleep. The paint was chipped on the walls. The door frame was very dirty. Two of the electrical outlets were coming loose from the walls. Truly a "you get what you pay for" kind of hotel.

Great updated room for the money. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. My only complaint is the air conditioner was extremely loud from rattling and would wake me up. Other units on my floor seemed to suffer the same.

We arrived at the hotel at 1:30 and check-in was at 3 PM. I asked the front desk man if we could check in early. And he said it would be a $20 charge. I said what is our room clean already? And he said yes your room is clean and your room is ready but you cannot check in. He said ma’am, I don’t make these rules … I don’t think I’ll be staying at this hotel again. I think it was a little bit absurd, that I could not check in a little bit early for my hotel room that was already cleaned and waiting for me.

Check in super easy and nice… very reasonable price. Was not asked about any way they can help or recommend. Conditioner in shower was all out. Room smelled dingy but it was super clean! Lots of towels and no noise . I would stay again!

Nothing like walking past one of the only staff members on the property at night only to get a call a few minutes later to charge us for extra people. We had 2 queen beds for 4 adults. The lady saw us all at check in and then calls us that evening when we returned to say we need to pay more. What a joke! The price was good until that point. We wish we would have booked another place. Their staff was not present at the desk and we waiting at check in. The breakfast was slim pickings with not much put out. We killed two bugs in our room, one on the bed, too. We do not recommend this place after our experience and won't be coming back.

The breakfast was not good at all. No Continental, no healthy foods. Found a roach in room the last night I stayed.

Building looked run down cob wobs above our bed we had to knock down.Their is no breakfast as advertised went down at 7.30 am and was 1 tiny little blueberry muffin .pool has cover over it .Definitely will not go back overpriced .

The A/C was cold like it should be, the beds were excellent, the shower water pressure was outstanding and the towels were super super soft!

One room smelled like cigarette smoke and had to buy a fan to get the air to other side of room because of the wall blocking ac and tub had black specs coming out from jets the other room we had smelled like weed pool was closed and you could hear pipes banging in walls when people on second floor were running water

The air conditioning was off so it was over 90 degrees in the room. They said the pool was open but when we got there it was shut down the whole time. The staff followed you around and that was very uncomfortable. Would not recommend this motel for anyone. Did not feel safe or comfortable at all.

It was close to restaurants and the parking was well lit at night. It was also clean and well managed.

Property cancelled stating they didn’t honor the Expedia deal . Drove from Independence,Mo to Gallatin ,Tennessee to find out no hotel room no notice . I’m very lucky my sister has a property in Tennessee about 30 minutes away or my husband kids and I would have been completely screwed. I’m still waiting on a refund a week later will never give them another try . I’m out money and everything about to seek legal assistance. Very displeased and will never give them any business.

The room had a bad smell of food almost like it was a commercial kitchen that hadn’t been cleaned. The floors appear to have never been mopped, because my kids feet turned black from them walking on them and when a little bit of water spilled we used a wash cloth to clean it and the rag turned black. The smell from the room air conditioner/heater was so bad we had to sleep with it off. Also requested a crib before we got there and when I asked for one they said they didn’t have any even though there site says they do.

The room was hot; thermostat set at 61 degrees. Lots of people talking outside and walking along the walk way. Carpet was dirty. Website said room could accomadate 5 people and it did not.

I would never stay there again , first of all it was hot and the window unit didn’t work, we had to sleep in the floor close to the unit . When my husband went to get stuff from the car on his way back to the room a prostitut follow him to the room . He didn’t noticed her till he close the door and she try to get in to the room, when she saw my kids and me she turn around and leave

The staff was friendly enough but I feel like a lot was lacking. The room definitely needed a better clean. The floor didn’t appear to be dirty, but I had dropped some water on the floor and used a hand towel to dry it, the white towel came up black. From there on out our feet were consistently black walking on the floor. There were curly dark hairs left on the top of the hair dryer mounted on the wall. Another issue we had was the breakfast. We try to choose hotels with hot breakfast to save on price, but it didn’t this time because we went out 2 of the 3 mornings due to the powdered eggs that look like they were made many hours earlier, were luke warm, and chunks floating in water. There were rarely more than 3 mini muffins in the container at a time. Every morning there was supposed to be sausage but it was usually empty until the staff were asked to bring more, where they bring a plate of cold sausages, heat in the microwave, then toss in the (again) luke warm warmer. The pool was very nice and clean, but they do not leave towels in the pool area, you have to go to the front desk to ask for it. Also, this place is obviously where any travel workers go because the place was filled with construction workers that stayed outside the rooms and in the parking lot all evening drinking and smoking.

After a rainy afternoon of youth lacrosse games. My accusations at a friends’ were too far to drive after a long drive. Fortunately this motel had rooms at a reasonable price with no frills. It’s was clean and quiet and within a short distance of several food choices. Room a bit stuffy at first, but the AC made short work of the temperature. It all made for a good a sound sleep.

Paid a little more to stay here because they advertised a pool and looked to have a good breakfast. The pool was locked and unavailable. At breakfast they apologized for not having any eggs or sausage as they didn't receive the delivery. Therefore the breakfast was pitiful. Overall, disappointing.

Stay a few days and was going to extend our stay another day. I spoke with the front desk and they said if we book another day online it’s a $20 early check in fee which didn’t make sense since we had been there wanted me to come do it thru them. Discussed it with my girl friend we had a $50 voucher on our Expedia rewards and even after covering the $20 fee it still made a better financial decision to do it on line and just pay the early check in fee so booked the room another night $104 couldn’t pay the $20 fee on Expedia so went to the front desk my girl had the $20 and she asked him to just clarify exactly why there’s this fee. And he had a melt down thankfully he directed it all at me even though I hadn’t said one word, and not her because how he acted would have been a problem! I asked him what I had done and he said he wasn’t obligated to honor the reservation or refund the money. I really didn’t know what to say except we just come down here to give you that 20 that’s all what is this and he told us to leave or he ways calling the cops I had a DNR do not rent!????? Now explain to me if I had a DNF for who knows what cause I sure have no idea I’ve never been kicked out, caused a scene, been arrested or anything not only from this hotel but from any hotel ever. If I supposedly had this DNR why were you renting to me in first place. We have like few min to pack up everything in our room or he was gonna have us arrested trespassing. He refused to refund our money!

Only issues I had was not being able to park in front of my room. And house keeping knocking and opening my room.door at 10am when checkout isnt until 11. I was still asleep in my bed.. no one should be opening my door till they know Im checked out. Period.

The hotel is older, but in good shape. Rooms are larger than most hotels. But, supplies are in short supply; they give you a sliver of soap, you have to ask for replacement toilet paper. If you are not ready to have your room cleaned with their first pass, they do not return. Location is close to shopping and restaurants . But, we could hear trains running all night. Felt like new ownership that hadn’t got a handle on how to run the business. People were very nice.

We kept our Do NOT Disturb on door and even told housekeeping that was outside we didn’t want anyone in the room. We came back later that night only to find out someone was in our room.

Unique in that there were a total of 4 units occupied out of about 150 in the entire place on a Friday night. Curious. Unique also was the fact that there was absolutely no staff in or around the office till about 15-20 minutes after I arrived. The lone lady had had to go out to get a take away meal. She seemed to be the only staff person there and was there overnight. A morning wake up call that I requested for 7:45 was never made. The 'free breakfast' was minimal and poor overall. Certainly not what I was expecting for this place. MSP

Our family had booked the reservation prior to our trip and came in late that evening. We were exhausted after a long drive and just wanted to hit the hay. They quickly gave us our keys and we were in our room within 5 minutes. We brought our two dogs, and were shocked at how clean the room was. We've stayed in hotels before that smelled horrible and was obvious the room was specific for animal owners. The only thing I was not satisfied with, was the miscommunication about the pool hours. We booked this hotel because of the nice pool for our daughter. The night we came in, a gentleman said the pool would open between 9 and 10.. check out is at 11. Then the next day we were told it opened at 11. The time we planned on leaving.. I wasn’t happy and asked if it could be opened earlier and they didn’t hesitate and easily opened it early just so our little girl could swim. It was an extremely quiet night and just what we needed after a long drive. Everyone was very kind and you could tell they care deeply about the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

When you are doing hot sweaty work all day everyday it’s great to come back to a room that is clean and has fresh clean towels. This was a major plus in my book because nowadays in a lot of hotels, if you want clean towels daily you have to exchange them yourself. The bed was very comfortable too.

Horrible experience. The hotel's website only clearly specifies that the hotel is pet friendly. When we arrived, we could not stay in the upgraded hot tub room that we reserved because the "room" was not pet friendly. When the room is pet friendly, that is clearly shown on the web site next to the room. When a room is not, there is no clear label. So after our long drive, we were informed that we had to change rooms. The room we were set up with was dirty. There was dog urine on the bathroom door. The ice tray, and bucket had dirt and other grime on the surface. Also, there are no coffee makers in the room. Additionally, the desk clerk for breakfast eye balls you the entire time you are eating and makes the experience very uncomfortable. The night clerk was the only positive experience. However her positive was heavily out weighed by all of the other negatives.

It was overall a nice comfortable stay. The only issue was that the originally room had a malfunction with the key card so I was made to switch rooms but the staff was very quick I’m coming to a solution and it worked out better because I was moved to a room on the first floor by the pool!

They advertised a gym with weights and 3 pieces of cardio. No weights and 1 of 3 cardio machines worked.

Convenient location

The front desk clerk noted several times that the room was non-smoking as if we might be smokers. As soon as we opened the door, the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. The room was average. The bed was worth the money we spent. If we weren't so worn out from a 13 -hour drive and subsequent birthday party (all with very litte rest), we would have asked for a truly non-smoking room. I will likely not choose to stay there again because of this.

Have stayed at other Baymonts and they were exceptional. This one in Gallatin was only a step up from a motel 6. I would be embarrassed to call it a Baymont.

I come to Gallatin monthly to see my doctor. I have seen that no matter with I do make a reservation, I always get the same courtesy and friendly from the staff .
