Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its cleanliness, quietness, and central location. The staff is frequently praised for being friendly and helpful. However, the lack of an elevator and inconvenient parking are common complaints. Some guests also mention issues with the rooms, such as uncomfortable beds, broken appliances, and strange smells.
- Central location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- No elevator
- Inconvenient parking

Small but affordable room, nicely furnished. Parked in the lot behind the hotel but not certain we parked in the correct lot. Was wondering if our vehicle would be towed. Course use better instruction as to where the lot was. Out only complaint.

I will highly recommend!!
- 5/5
Beautiful place, very convenient to everything we needed, and very safe area.
- 4/5
No elevator is my only disappointment
- 5/5
The staff was nice, and the atmosphere is lovely. It's a really cute and nice place. I would stay there again.
- 0.5/5
The location was central in Glendale and had a historic wood decor with a modern large comfy bed The room seemed moldy and poorly aired but they said the windows opened but I could never open a window. They also failed to refund me for leaving one day earlier which is usually done. They never responded to my nor Bookings emails requesting this.
- 5/5
The service was great and location very convenient Parking is offsite and a few blocks away.
- 5/5
The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Whenever I asked the front desk staff a question he always appear at alarmed and confused. His gestures and tone was not very welcoming or friendly. When I woke up in the morning and once a coffee, the coffee machine didn’t work and they didn’t seem to care whether or not it did or didn’t. No vending machine just a collection of overpriced 7-Eleven snacks and five dollar bottled water. But it had a nice vibe.
- 3/5
The room was clean. There is no elevator and staff does not offer help for luggage. Parking is a bit inconvenient because it is a 3-5 minute walk away from the back entrance. Our toilet was broken (wouldn't flush) for the duration of our trip. We reported it and they tried to fix it and failed. We weren't offered an alternate room or any discount for the inconvenience of literally not being able to use the bathroom in our hotel for our several day long trip. The bed was comfortable and the furniture was great. It was so close to being good, it just missed the mark with those couple of things.
- 4/5
It’s close to a lot of spots for hanging out. The only downside is that there’s no elevator. You have to haul your suitcases on flight of stairs. Everything else is good.
- 4/5
Cute quiet hotel, right next to Portos Bakery. The room was very clean.
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 4/5
Nice and clean room. Great location and many restaurants within walking distance. However, poor parking as there is no designated parking area for hotel guests. Otherwise, worth the stay. Will definitely come back.
- 4/5
Room was nice and clean. Area is great, walkable to many restaurants. However, parking is the only issue as there isn’t a designated area for hotel guests. I had to pay for street parking and promptly move my vehicle at 8am.
- 2/5
The property was under construction and they were so noisy. No elevator so we had to take our heavy suitcase up the stairs.
- 3/5
We didn't expect that the lobby is in the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. We had difficulty moving our luggage up the flIght of staircase.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 3/5
Disappointed with the hotel's distant parking and the lack of elevators, making stair access a necessity despite the room cost.
- 4/5
No stairs it was hard lugging our luggage up and down those stairs with no help we are in our 70s
- 4/5
Overall, the stay was good, but I was disturbed throughout the night by footsteps from the upstairs room, and early in the morning I was woken up by maintenance noise. Also, the parking area is located on the back street of the hotel, which did not feel very safe to walk through at night.
- 3/5
Staff was helpful and professional. Unfortunately, the room was small. Things needed to be upgraded for sure. Paint was chipped, walls had cracks, and there were patches of carpet replaced. The television didn't work great but the air conditioning did. The bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. The parking was very terrible. It was far and hard to even find a spot. There was no elevators as they mentioned however, the stairs were very steep and tiring to go up and down.
- 5/5
2nd and 3rd floor only. No elevators and limited parking. Super nice ambience in room furnishings. No road noise. Would return again.
- 3/5
No lift, so you better be in fair physical condition to climb the steep stairs. Rooms ar OK. Beds comfortable, and in a safe and convenient location. Good an very reasonable piced excellent breakfast at Portos, few steps from hotel.
- 3/5
Inside rooms were nice. Some rooms and beds better than others. Generally good comfortable beds. Air conditioning worked well.
- 4/5
Clean room, nothing fancy. All the staff was very friendly. Location is great. The parking is not ideal but to be expected for the area. I was in town for a work conference so really just needed a place to stay. I’d stay again if I ever come back to town
- 4/5
Parking was affordable and nearby.
- 5/5
Location, quaint space, beautiful decor. Friendly staff, and walking distance a lot.
- 1/5
I will never stay here again
- 5/5
Nice place to get in
- 3/5
It’s ok
- 3/5
Need a elevator I had surgery and was so hard to go up the stairs
- 5/5
Staff is so helpful.
- 5/5
Great location and a really great bathtub
- 5/5
The character is amazing and was comfortable on the heart of the city.
- 5/5
The character is amazing and was comfortable on the heart of the city.
- 5/5
Pros: Beautiful and simple room. Friendly helpful staff. And location location location!!! I will be staying again. Cons: No elevator, off street meter parking from 8-8.
- 4/5
Very nice, clean, quaint hotel with an antique look/design. Staff are polite and friendly. Parking is off-site around the block for $8 during your stay and there are nice restaurants/eateries within walking distance. The only challenge is looking up at the steep stairs when opening the hotel’s front door and there is no elevator option - but doable with care.
- 4/5
For an overnight stay, it satisfied our needs. Clearly a vintage property as the carpeted staircase leading up to the lobby could have received better care and maintenance. The AC in room 101 worked fine for us. For the money, it was all right.
- 5/5
I love everything about this hotel. I’ve stayed here multiple times. And this is the only hotel I will stay at in Glendale. I can’t say I don’t like anything because I love everything

Air worked perfectly. Room very crisp and clean.
- 5/5
Parking is a little far. I traveled with my mom so it was kinda difficult for her.
- 2/5
Bare minimum effort in this hotel.
- 4/5
Really great for the price.
- 4/5
Charming, amazing location, walkability was perfect, thoughtful amenities, rooms are warm and inviting despite (or perhaps because because of) the almost confusing blend of modern Tuscan revival and vintage hotel decor. Loved the art and furniture in the lobby. Loved the tiki bar next door. No elevator, tons of stairs

Clean room!!!
- 4/5
The staff are super friendly and the parking is actually not that far. I don't know how much I trust the immediate surrounding area, and it's not super walkable, but the hotel itself is super cute.
- 5/5
AC working. Parking overnight for a good pricing, $8 who can beat that!
- 5/5
The bed was small, but it was exactly what I needed for the weekend. The bed was beyond comfortable, and it was centrally located to what I had going on. If you’re not big on stairs, this may not be for you since you have to climb to the lobby, and then the second floor if you get a room on that floor.
- 4/5
Quaint and quiet! Perfect if you don’t like all the hustle and bustle.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Easy check in process. Overnight parking cost aboyt $8
- 4/5
Clean, quiet, comfortable, great location
- 4/5
This 102-year-old hotel has the ambiance of old Hollywood glamor with its art deco design and furnishings. The room was very clean, and the location couldn't be better for exploring Glendale's vibrant eateries and shopping.
- 4/5
Very cute boutique hotel. Room was great and very clean. Just take note there's no elevator and rooms are on the upper floors. Also no on-site parking.
- 1/5
No parking. Lobby on the second floor, you have to hike up with luggage. Rooms are tiny and hot, air wasn’t working , no conditioner. Very inconvenient to get in and out.
- 5/5
The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing an excellent night's sleep. The hotel's proximity to the event I was attending made it super convenient. I also loved the decor, which added a unique charm to the overall experience. While my stay at the boutique hotel was enjoyable, there were a couple of downsides. The lack of an elevator meant I had to navigate several flights of stairs to reach both the front desk and my room, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the parking area was quite far from the hotel entrance. If you're okay with a little extra walking, it's still a lovely place to stay!

Everything was wonderful. The room was spotless and checkin was very smooth. Suggestion, book the room on Expedia for the best rate.
- 5/5
Nice area, quiet hotel, nice staff
- 2/5
No one cleaned our room and we didn’t have a sign on the door NOT requesting cleaning. I told the front desk and he did offer fresh towels. We stayed two night, decided to leave the next day. The phone didn’t work in my room so we walked down to change our reservation. That went fine. We were in Glendale for the birth of my grandson. We got a call at 3:00 in the morning to report to the hospital bc my daughter was in labor. I went down to the front desk to let them know what was going on. I had to ring the bell for him to come around from the back. That’s fine but, ANYONE could walk up those steps and come down our hallway. Also there was a couple in one of those rooms down from mine that were fighting and using foul language. We were shocked that as we left, the front door at the street level was wide open! The next day I told the front desk about the door being wide open. He said it was ok bc they had a night watchman. Again, anyone could have walked right by the front desk and nobody would ever know. Really disappointed in our stay.
- 4/5
Room was clean, and had everything one would need. Location is fantastic, so close to restaurants and shopping. No elevator, but I was informed at booking it was a walk up. Only bummer was the Tv in the room did not work.
- 5/5
The room was clean, bed was really comfortable and it was super quiet. Great place to stay. So many little restaurants, bakeries, and coffe shops within walking distance. We will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Room was clean and the staff was nice. The parking was convenient once we got the pass. Everything was as described. Nice to stay at a small local place. Great location next to tons of food.

Clean. No elevator. The internet was slow and unreliable. Tiny tv, not a smart tv.
- 5/5
Great location, nice accommodating staff. Clean rooms..Will definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Clean room and nice staff.
- 1/5
cold water, smelly sink, loud room/you can hear everything, and the window was staring into a cement wall 4 feet away
- 1/5
The parking too far from the hotel. You can’t charge your phone because all plug far from the bed. I will never go back again.

- 5/5

Nice clean rooms and great location.

The room was spotless, the staff friendly and helpful. Fantastic location and beach. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
- 4/5
The location is fabulous. Just would better if they had closer parking.
- 5/5
Great lots of stairs
- 5/5
Room was absolutely clean and the staff were understanding and helpful. Great location!
- 5/5
As always, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Clean room, courteous staff, ideal location for my visits to the Glendale area.
- 5/5
Yes amazing
- 3/5
Water smelled weird and there was no water available to drink. Room wasn't the cleanest.
- 5/5
Nice elegant old hotel.
- 4/5
Upgraded us to a king; comfortable bed, great location, clean bathroom. Managed to park for free for the evening The hallways could be touched up, but didn't affect our stay. And the room was very comfortable, which is all that mattered to us

Historic boutique hotel.
- 4/5
Good value for the price and convenient location. Most difficult aspect was climbing two flights of steep stairs to reach the front desk and our room.
- 1/5
There was no hot water, not even warm water. Heating/air conditioning system: You had to choose: either turn on the heating/air conditioning, or breathe.
- 5/5
Awesome location, great room.
- 3/5
Remove carpeting from rooms, a step up in quality of toiletries, fix the water dispenser in the lobby
- 3/5
Pleasant
- 4/5
Rooms are clean and great service; check in and out very easy; entrance is old and old carpet is everywhere
- 3/5
The water was not warm enough and there should be a trash can in the room not just the bathroom.
- 4/5
Great location. Very small but really clean room. Water in shower on last day never got hot - Luke warm. Biggest drawbacks are the 34 steep staircase steps to the lobby - no elevator. Nice staff - very accommodating.
- 3.5/5
Good
- 1/5
No elevator! 20 stairs to my room. I didn’t stay at this Brand Plaza Hotel !. I stayed in another respectful hitel
- 2/5
Front desk staff was rude (Andy), not helpful and attempted to charge me a second time for a room I already paid for. Even after I told him I already paid, he charged my card without my consent. Luckily my bank declined the charge. He had us waiting for an hour to check in and after all the trouble we had checkimg in, he didn't even seem apologetic for their mistake.
- 3/5
The room was small but bed was comfortable. Beware of stairs
- 3.5/5
Location is very good.
- 3/5
A hidden gem along Downtown Glendale. Close to a lot of places. Short driving distance to the Galleria and 134 hwy. Great if you’re trying to find a place where you won’t hear traffic and find places to walk to.
- 5/5
All was good!
- 0.5/5
Stairs!!!!
- 5/5
The staff was friendly! The room was very clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Room was decent. Bed was uncomfortable but the horrible part is the parking. Didn’t realize you had to park 2 blocks away when booking. Had I known I would not have stayed. Plus no elevator so you are hauling your luggage upstairs.
- 3/5
It has no elevator.
- 4/5
Nice very quiet and friendly staff
- 5/5
Good all around
- 3/5
room was durty
- 5/5
Nice room
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was helpful with parking info. They also provided clean towels when we needed them.
- 1/5
It’s old fashioned hotel Rude staff .unwilling to help and very disrespectful towards us. Asked for parking availability and told me to pay 8$ extra to park my car a block away! Looking very arrogant!!!
- 3/5
We were very disappointed that the room does not have a microwave or a refrigerator. There was a lot of stairs, no elevator. The parking was not as we expected. We have to walk pretty far to park your car. The beds were comfortable.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Bathroom was clean
- 4/5
Very comfortable bed and pillows !
- 2/5
The stairs and no elevator. Parking is not easy
- 5/5
Rooms look very clean. Seem to have been recently updated. I can’t hear noise from outside the room which is a plus.
- 5/5
Room was nice. Hotel staff was responsive. Note: 25 - 30 steps straight up to get the the front desk.
- 5/5
clean great access to surrounding restaurants and bars
- 4.5/5
Musty odor at lobby entrance.
- 4/5
Additionally, the building apparently had a 3rd floor (Hotel is on the 2nd) because what sounded like a family of elephants arrived home at about midnight and stomped around until about 1AM. They arose earlier than I did and stomped again about 7AM, but for a shorter period. Overall though this was a fun hotel, as we were visiting a performance at the Nocturne Theatre within very close walking distance, making attending the show simple. A quaint hotel in not too bad shape that made good for a one-night stay for local entertainment
- 5/5
Clean and great location walkable to restaurants and shopping. Staff was helpful and willing to let me drop off my luggage before check-in and was actually able to find a room that was available early.
- 4/5
Affordable price at excellente location
- 5/5
Loved it. Will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
I always enjoy my stay at BPH!
- 4/5
A clean spacious room with a nice desk to work at. In the middle of the city so convenient to everything but still fairly quiet at night.
- 3/5
The stay was okay, the broken bathroom window did not stay open for ventilation. Noise from neighboring rooms made it hard to relax or sleep. Rooms are clean but could use some updating to feel more comfortable.
- 2.5/5
Staff
- 5/5
The check in and out was smooth. The bed was extremely comfortable even after a several hour drive.
- 5/5
Always love my stay here. Very peaceful and I absolutely love the bed and sheets!! Extremely comfortable! There is no elevator so a kind employee helped me carry my bags to the car! I highly recommend The Brand Plaza Hotel. It’s an excellent value for the LA area as well.
- 1/5
Carpet smells old and moldy. Had to go to a different after 2nd night.I was coughing and sneezing..Room is so tight
- 3/5
The bed is comfortable.. just having a hard time climbing up the stairs and the parking is far from the hotel.
- 5/5
I love this boutique hotel. It’s charming, clean, safe and the sheets and bed are extremely comfortable!! The staff is lovely and I highly recommend the hotel!
- 3.5/5
The bed was not super comfortable. Could feel coils through surface of mattress. There is no elevator. Pack light or bring some muscle.
- 4/5
Parking too far from hotel I felt unsafe to park there
- 5/5
My family and I loved this place, conveniently located. Super cute boutique style hotel, very clean cozy and felt safe. Also was quiet and the staff was friendly. Will definitely be back!
- 5/5
Accessibility, quality staff and value for the money makes the property an excellent choice for short stays.
- 5/5
Clean hotel, near good restaurants and Porto’s bakery!
- 5/5
Very good location
- 5/5
It’s beautiful toom
- 5/5
Perfect location, close to everything. Able to safely walk around at night. Comfortable bed. Very clean room. Quiet hotel - never heard any noise during the night while sleeping. The parking is alittle odd, parking a block away in an outside parking lot but I did notice an attendant checking the cars which made me feel confident that someone would be periodically checking in on the lot. Very steep stairs, there is no elevator. A lift mechanism would be helpful, especially for those who can't take the stairs and would have to miss out on staying in this charming older hotel. So pack light when staying here.
- 3/5
.
- 1/5
Nothing The smell was awful The decor was atrocious No elevator Minimum natural daylight in the room
- 2/5
Sheets are frayed & old. I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
awesome
- 5/5
The location was really close to everything but also very quiet
- 5/5
It is my go to place when I'm in the Pasadena/Glendale area. Old school hotel that has lots of charm.
- 3/5
The mattress and sheets were uncomfortable. The A/C unit was loud and with such small rooms, I needed ear plugs to sleep with noise. Parking was also an inconvenience. The location was but at the cost of convenient parking.
- 5/5
Easy check-in. Room is nice and bed comfortable. Parking is only a short walk away.
- 5/5
Beautiful and luxurious!
- 4/5
Property is close to a lot of restaurants and stores. Area is quiet. Onky complain is the noisy airconditioning system.
- 5/5
I definitely liked my stay here.
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
The air conditioning was amazing. The parking situation is a little weird. You have to park across from the public city parking which is kind of around the block.
- 5/5
Hotel was cool
- 4/5
Nice location close to a lot of restaurants and bars .. only thing it’s not handicap friendly.. no elevator only stairs. Over all great, easy check in
- 5/5
Little outdated but overall good for the price. Staff very friendly.
- 1/5
It was noisy all night long. I heard arguing, someone going in and out of their door all night, and it sounded like someone was moving furniture above me all night! The carpet should be replaced and the flooring was sticky. That also needs to be replaced. I will not be back.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was so nice
- 4/5
Parking was horrible had to walk a bit and on the map they give you is not at all clear to where to park. But the overall stay was pleasant
- 4/5
Clean, quiet and very quaint rooms. No elevator. Very good front desk service!
- 5/5
No elevator there I’m disabled
- 5/5
I had switched over from another hotel and fully expected to have to leave my luggage with the front desk and wait for a room to be ready, but I was delightfully surprised to be told that I could check in right then (11:30)!!! Then, I was even granted a late check out. I was right in the heart of Glendale, close to everything and the room was comfortable. Great value for the price. The stairs with luggage was rough, but everything else made me look past that as nothing more than a free gym visit!!! Cheers!!!
- 5/5
Internet very slow
- 4/5
Nice location. No elevator just stairs. Told because it’s 100 years old lol.
- 5/5
Nice clean room
- 5/5
wonderful stay I would highly recommend!
- 4/5
Sadly, there is no drop off area for hotel, we parked in Bank of America parking next door (there was a guard there but luckily we are BofA customers). Hotel on site parking is non-exisit, you can use a pay parking for $8/day a couple of blocks away. Beware, there is no elevator so ne prepared to walk up the stairs. There is only level 2 and 3. The rooms were disappointingly small.
- 4/5
The property is over 100 years old and is very nice. However, the bed was very lumpy and I could not sleep
- 5/5
This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. It met our needs.
- 4/5
As mentioned by others, the lobby is on the second floor of the building and requires taking stairs. Parking is behind the building and across a small street. Per the gentleman at the front desk, there was also a cost associated with parking. The surrounding area was great and had some stellar food options including Porto’s two doors down. A solid location & experience for a budget hotel.
- 3/5
Toilet bowl is broken.
- 2/5
No instructions on where to park prior to check in. Called the front desk and the person was very bad at communicating where we can park while we were checking in. Public parking only available until you check in and then he explains how the parking works. The hotel entrance was very difficult to find. Almost appears as thought the hotel was abandoned. Our biggest complaint was the person at the front desk who checked us in around 7:00 PM on July 11th. Lack of empathy while we struggled to find the parking, the entrance and lugging our luggage up the stairs. My wife accidently dropped a couple of bags in front of the person who checked us in. He just watched it all happen and never offered any sort of assistance or asked if she was okay. She was clearly struggling. He was extremely rude, condescending and lacked communication skills. Good luck with any assistance from the front desk if you need any sort of help.
- 5/5
Cute place, wish parking wasn’t so far away but still nice stay overall.
- 4/5
Everything you'd expect from and older, quaint with LOTS of character hotel. It's not a shiny new penny but it's not a dumpy slumpy place either. We did have an issue with toilet backup (old pipes remember) and they fixed it immediately. Parking is a couple blocks away, which was the most inconvenient thing about staying here. Spaces are very limited but we were lucky taking the last available space every day of our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
My check-in Representative was very helpful, courteous and professional. My room is very comfortable, especially the bedding and mattress is excellent and I need a good sleep cause I’m traveling in the morning. I love the snack pantry, water availability and cold sodas in refrigerator, Extraordinary accommodations ! Thank you 🙏

- 4/5
Great location, nearby everything and the front desk person even let me check in early and check out later with no cost. The only issue, the only way accessible (that I know of) is up stairs. If was difficult for me to luggage all my DJ equipment, and parking was a little walk. Other than that it was great!
- 2/5
Lobby is on the second floor. Rooms are in either 2nd or 3rd floor. No microwave even in the lobby area.
- 5/5
Good location, close to Porto’s and shopping mall
- 3/5
Make sure you read the website, this is not a mobility friendly hotel. It is well located with lots of local eating around but the stairs are very intense. The Junior Suite is the only one in the building and is on the 2nd floor. The water pressure is low and getting the TV to work was a chore.
- 5/5
It’s a great location in Glendale walking distance to restaurants and Americana mall. Very happening. No breakfast or on site parking. Room very comfortable but small. Staff is friendly and helpful
- 2/5
Tv very small. Low shower water pressure. Water from sink smelled bad. Drapes block the a/c
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Please note: THERE IS NO ELEVATOR and this is NOT a ground-floor building. The steps are many and very, very steep. Also, the parking area is down an alley and across a considerable parking lot. The parking area itself is also located in a dark, alley-like space. This parking situation costs me $8 a day PLUS 1 --$50 parking ticket. I had to plan my day to have the car returned before it got dark in order to feel safe. Walking in front of the building was pleasurable and safe. The hotel itself is in a great location and near many restaurants and shopping.
- 5/5
It is very clean and great service. The location in Glendale can’t be beat it is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
- 4/5
No elevator No parking on site need to park 3-5 min from building
- 4/5
It was close to where I needed to be. Quiet and had all I needed from a hotel for this trip.
- 4/5
Good in general, but you need to climb 1 1/2 flights of steps to get to the main floor - no elevator.
- 5/5
For some guests not having an elevator could be really challenging though, but not for me. Nice stay.

There’s no elevator. The room didn’t have a pleasant smell and there was urine on the floor.

Everything is great except the stairs

We had a great stay! This is our third time staying here. We will definitely be back!

I was disappointed there was no elevator available, especially when the rooms are only on the second floor. Also parking was a bit far from the hotel. Overall, the hotel was still cozy and located next to shops and restaurants.

I did it like the million stairs to get to the desk. I have a really bad knee and it was not ok. I was told when I booked that there was no elevator, but dang a million stairs

Great as always!

This is my go to hotel when I go for work. It’s safe, clean and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping

Great location…steps away from Damon’s and Portos! Firm—but high—bed. Small, but efficient, living area with “pay for” snacks and water. No fridge (that I noticed). Tiny bathroom with an alcove for the toilet and a small, square shower. No elevator. Stairs: 1 1/2 stories to the first floor rooms and registration. Stairs to the rest of the floors.

Very convenient

Moreover, room #105 was located right next to the front desk, resulting in constant noise from people coming and going throughout the night. The traffic noise from the main road was also unbearable. The carpet in the bedroom was old and dirty with visible patches glue on and the room had an unpleasant odor. There was visible trash under the bed, and the air conditioner was so loud that it had to be turned off. The bedding featured labels from a different hotel, The pillows and mattress were hard and uncomfortably and overall, my stay was a complete nightmare. I didn’t sleep at all because I clearly heard a rat making noise and I was terrified. I truly hated it.

This hotel was good for one night as I needed a central location that was walking distance to a lot of things. However the parking situation was frustrating and the room itself was so tiny. I also could hear everyone going in and out of their rooms and there was a dog barking real late in a nearby room that kept me up all night.

I went there in a biz travel for 4 days and it was exactly what I was hoping to get: safe, clean and within walking distance to many dining options. It was a great experience! I’ll come back again.

Lots of perks including friendly staff, laundry steamer in the room, very clean room and a small fridge. A couple things to note that weren't great. Parking was off site across the Street about 1 block away. A lot of stairs without and elevator. Very small shower.

I enjoyed the traditional style of the establishment.

This is a very nice, old hotel right in the middle of downtown. We liked it very much. Clean, quiet and convenient as well as affordable. Be advised, there is no elevator, which wouldn't work for some, but for us it was fine.

I stayed 4nights and the last day they didn’t clean up. I liked the area but I don’t like hotel. Hotel is very old and not welcoming.
- 3/5
At bed time, there was some ticking in the background. Itntook a while to tune it out.

Small room, poor ventilation, but clean
- 5/5
I would definitely consider staying here again
- 5/5
despite no elevator, the cleanliness of the room and friendliness of the staff (especially Guy for my very late night checkin!) rules.. stayed before, would stay again!

The room they first assigned us to smelled like cigarettes and it was aweful! 2nd room was fine. No view out windows because it was right up next to another building. The price was decent and Brand Street had Porto's (a Cuban bakery) just down the street and lots of options for other dining. It worked because we only slept there. Beds were comfy.

Thank you to the staff

It was advertised as a queen bed - definitely not a queen. My boyfriend and I are not big people (he's 5'9 and I'm 5'4 and neither of us is heavy) and we were elbow and leg bumping all night in the tiny double bed. The room was also very small, and there was nowhere to hang the dress I was wearing to the formal wedding we were there for. Also no room in the bathroom to put things! would have been an OK room for a single overnight just to sleep - for one person - but too small for a 5 night stay for 2.

Affordable and a good location

No parking. Having to pay isn’t very convenient but it’s ok. Very vintage hotel theme. Tv wasn’t working properly needs to be checked/replaced. Area is very accommodating. Nice hotel.
- 4/5
Nothing special, no gym, pool or food. But I didn't need that. The rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Property is clean. And the hotel has a lot of charm.
- 5/5
No elevator

I was VERY skeptical when we first arrived, but I quickly realized that I got a pretty good, small, clean and compact hotel that pretty much gives you whatever you need for your stay. Great AC, good showers, and the beds aren’t too bad either. I’d say this place is actually pretty cool too since you can literally just walk out into Glendale and explore. The only downside is stairs, and no Elevator. But honestly, that didn’t even bother me AT all. Great place if you plan on visiting Glendale, or LA in general. (And if you want to save money), all in all, great bang for your buck
- 4/5
Had to wait 15 min to check in because no one was at front desk
- 5/5
Quaint boutique hotel right in the heart of Glendale. Close enough to walk to shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Comfortable rooms, great shower pressure, very nice staff. Keep in mind there is no elevator, so you’re walking up stairs to get to your room. We’ll definitely come back.

It was zero problem, just providing as an FYI. Lots of restaurants and services in immediate area
- 5/5
I really appreciate the staff and cleanliness. The bed is comfortable and the room is clean. Everyone was respectful and the location is central to everything. Thank you for letting us stay with you!
- 5/5
It was close to many dining options and a very walkable area.
- 5/5
Stayed here because I was working with in the area. Clean and friendly.

Nothing special very old and small building, over all it was find good location for dinnig
- 5/5
Perfectly pleasant for the quick overnight stay I needed. Older style, very clean. Parking surprisingly easy.
- 3/5
It has no elevator or parking on premises. The bed was uncomfortable and squeaky.

We left Disneyland after a long day and stayed here to be past the city traffic for our drive home north the next day. This worked out perfectly! The hotel is unusual with the distant parking lot out back across the street and no elevator but that was nothing we couldn't handle. The beds were SO super comfy and we loved having the fresh air from the open window. Before we left we walked down the block to enjoy a WONDERFUL breakfast at Porto's - very easy walking distance. Yum!

Very nice stay and convenient location

Odd spot hole in the wall but convenient for shopping and eating areas.

Great!

Parking if off site , behind property , only complain I have is the rooms are small then what they seem and there are so many stairs to climb up, safety hazard to be honest. Clean and very quiet , bed was comfortable , the stairs and off site parking was an inconvenience. There is carpet along the hallways , two floors.
