Glenridge Inn Glendale - Pasadena

We asked to be moved to another room, and the staff handled our request kindly and promptly, which we appreciated. However, the guests in the room next to ours were extremely noisy both nights we stayed there. From around 9:00 p.m. until midnight, there were loud voices, shouting, and music, and nothing seemed to be done about it. I also saw another guest smoking on the balcony, even though smoking was not permitted just a few feet away from that area. Lastly, the mattresses were very uncomfortable. The one we had felt worn out and in poor condition. Overall, while the location is convenient, the lack of comfort and enforcement of hotel policies made our stay disappointing.

The shops were easy to find and the neighborhood is ok.

This wasnt my first stay at Glendalridge. I like staying there when in town because its quiet ckean and comfortable. I highly recomend to anyone who enjoys a goodnight sleep.

I was in the area during a week day so im not sure what the weekend is like but during my stay if was nice and quiet. Beds are co fy and allows you to get some rest. Over all it was an excellent experience.

Dirty light switches No coffee in the room tho I think in a past life the hotel had breakfast. There was a sign up that said, “no breakfast” The night desk clerk was friendly. And the parking area was well lit. When we checked out at 7-15 am there was a locked office door and no staff in sight.

Checking in, the hotel charged us a different amount than what hotels promised. Even with the email they wouldn’t charge us and I had to work with hotels for over an hour to get if fixed. The rooms were nice, but the cable was out in our room. Check in process really put a bad taste in my moutg

Nice and easy check in , parking was well light and plenty. The property was clean no trash and mess and didn't look sketchy. Room was ok motel quality. Nothing bad to say , solid room , solid stay.

Staff was nice. However, you have to use a little night drop window to talk to them. I wouldn’t recommend for hearing impaired. No one was around this morning so we just left. Didn’t see a way to check out officially.

Nice balcony available. Water presaure is just average. Beds were co forable with ple ty of pillows. Although right on the street it was very quiet!

This place has nice size rooms and, from what I understand, is operated by a family. I travel alone and felt very safe at all times. I did end up booking with them again this week.

Staff was amazing. Clean room safe area. Lobby closed, no coffee no breakfast but options nearby for both. Beds/pillows not the most comfortable but all in all would definitely stay again.

The hotel was quiet and clean. It had a microwave and a refrigerator, that was very convenient. If i had to provide a recommendation, I would say that a coffee maker in the room or coffee available in the lobby, would be a nice perk, however, there is a Starbucks and a McDonald's nearby to satisfy the coffee needs. There is no pool or hot tub, but that made no difference to me because i don't use them anyway but my husband does. I highly recommend this hotel and we will stay again.

Overall the room was clean, the staff was kind, the shops/dinning locations were nice, and air conditioning worked well.

The place is a bit run down looking but finding a spot in the area with parking that didnt require paying offsite is hard in this price point. The sheets smelled like bleach however there was hair on the floor in several places that wasnt ours and woke up to what looked like a small cockroach crawling across the wall. I am going to hope it was a water bug. The AC worked well and the Chinese spot across the street was really good and open late. A Ralphs is within walking distance if you need anything and theres a mini fridge with freezer in the room.

The check in area - front desk and lounge was closed because of COVID - really Coeffee machine in the lunge are not available had a sign "out of order" but was in the area that was closed. Check in and out from the outside with a small window to give the person your ID and credit card. Room was in very poor condition and in need of much repair. This is by far the worst place I have ever spent a night. EXPEDIA should remove this hotel from their listings.

We were looking for somewhere to literally sleep, we knew we would be getting into LA around 10pm and leaving by 730pm, but we wanted a decent neighborhood and cleanliness. This was perfect for that. Staff was very friendly upon check-in and check-out.

The room was disgusting. There was a terrible odor, the chair was filthy, the walls had damage, the ceiling in the shower was peaking, and the channel changer on the TV didn’t work.

Check in was fast and the gentleman was very nice. Cute little hotel that was perfect for our one night stay. Very clean and comfortable.

Location and convenience worked, bed was comfortable enough, but will not stay there again. The floor, walls, bedding, and chairs all had dirty stains on them. A number of things were broken - part of the curtain was derailed, a drawer was missing the handle, outlets didn't work, the thermostat was inaccurate plus the vents were noisy, a decorative pillow had a big hole in it... It was bearable and we were out of there within 12 hours.

It was a nice stay. Very quick check-in. Staff very friendly. Room was very clean. Nice and quiet stay. Just one down fall. The air conditioner was very loud when turned on besides that it was a very pleasant stay.

The property was conveniently located and easy to access. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was slightly dirty (mostly stains) and the curtain was broken.

The staff is wonderful and room was clean. The furniture needs updating and mattress could be better. That said, area is safe, convenient to everything Glendale has to offer, Ralph’s grocery right across the street, free parking, refrigerator and microwave, good AC (our unit a bit noisy). Overall, the pluses outweigh the minuses, definitely okay for a short stay (stayed one night).

Refrigerator was not cold enough to store any food safely. There was no coffee in the room when we checked in and I needed to go to the check in counter twice to ask for coffee before someone brought some to our room.

Everything was outdated and the only chair that was in the room had the arm rest very dirty.

They were amazing at accommodating our early check in. I just noticed that the refrigerator was dirty and was not cooling. We were also not informed prior to being there that parking was limited. Other wise a good little motel for the price.

Nice quite comfy

Needed a place to sleep after a long day at a music festival - this little motel was great for what we needed! Close to the venue, easy to access, and the service was very friendly. Rooms are super basic but that was all we needed - a comfy safe place to sleep. I appreciate the mini fridge for beverages and leftovers, the shower water pressure was really decent, and the beds were really comfy. The AC worked very well too - necessary as we were in town during a heatwave. Overall, I would recommend this spot to anyone needing a quick rest while passing through!

A dingy motel where noise carries easily. The showers in other rooms were much louder than in an average motel room. The room itself was pretty scruffy but the bed and shower were fine.

No coffee maker, or breakfast, no pool, and parking very limited & tight.

A good little motel. I've stayed at a number of motels in this exact same area. They each have their pros and cons, and the Glenridge Inn is one of the better ones. It is not fancy, remember, this is a basic motel, but for that, it was affordable, quiet, and comfortable. I'd stay there again.

Beds are comfortable and safe parking. Bath tub was clogged and water was leaking from the cistern.

I stayed at this hotel with my family for four days the hotel staff was friendly, and the hotel was very quiet and calm. I felt safe here. The only thing that stopped me from giving five stars is that the rooms could be a little bit cleaner, but other than that I would stay here again.

Love this property & the staff is always so nice! Amazing customer service and very clean rooms. The parking is free and it’s right off the freeway so extremely convenient! I’ve stayed here multiple times and each stay has been great! :)

It was a place to sleep. Nothing good. The room we were put in had hairs all over the place, especially on the bathroom floor. We called the front desk and he came up to clean. He used a spray bottle and a towel to semi clean the floor. Hair still all over behind the door. We asked before he left if he could wipe down the only outdoor table (bird poop and grease). He proceeded to use the same towel he used on our bathroom floor! Disgusting and dirty .

Check in is weird, through a window. Smelled like urine going up the stairs. Once in room instant notice of disrepair with floors warped and dipped in. Dirty walls, toilet had pee on seat, to top it off giant cockroaches crawling out of the bathtub. All within the first few moments of being there. Instantly left. Do not recommend at all - even for the price cleanliness and upkeep should be significantly better.

Really great property & amazing management! Everything is clean and comfy! Inexpensive/affordable… literally a steal. The washer & dryer is only $1.50 to use (literally unheard of!!!) AND the front desk guy was sooo nice when I didn’t have any quarters or cash to wash, he gave me $5 worth of quarters and deducted it from my cash deposit. I’ll definitely be returning to stay again soon xxx thank you Glenridge hotel

It´s an ok enough hotel. Sleep and shower. The sheets were a bit rough. Like I said it´s ok, not terrible but not great

Very old and outdated. Saw several HUGE cockroaches outside of several doors.

It is not safe, window locks don’t even lock, so anyone can just slide it and get their arm inside and open the door. Vending machines out of order, they don’t have ice machine, their mini fridge doesn’t even latch anymore, no coffee maker, no coffe at lobby since there isn’t any. You’re better off paying just a bit more and stay at the holiday inn.

The aircon is not cooling. The Manager gave us electric fans.And promised us to give discount. But he never fulfilled his promise.

It’s tidy and comfortable. Centrally located. Convenient and clean. The environment is very homey. Frankly, at an affordable cost it is the most accommodating hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The lemons on the property bush were even fantastic.

I’ve stayed here many times. Very comfortable and clean. Easy access from freeway. If you have a big truck, can be hard to park in evenings when lot gets full.

Close amenities - McDonald's for a quick breakfast. Even post Covid no breakfast is offered onsite.

I love this hotel. This is the best hotel I have stayed in in a long time. Very, very clean lots of space inside the room. It has a sitting area very close to shopping and just a great location and a great hotel. All the staff are very friendly and make you feel right at home

Checked in to a musty smelling room. It was loud all night with doors slamming and what sounded like gunshots. Or fireworks. Couldn’t tell. Requested a refund for the second night but they wouldn’t grant it. Wouldn’t stay here again.

It was a little annoying they called me asking when I was checking in I told them I wasn’t sure and they stated they needed to know a time. It is a small hotel run by a family business I believe. I noticed my pillows had little hairs on them and some stains they were not mine so I’m not sure if they washed the bedding. The beds mattress was also pretty hard. The heater in the room worked well the shower had hot water so that’s a plus the parking lot had a lot of available spaces as well.

Hotel was old and not so clean. At check in, the guy was not friendly at all and seemed to be worried about other things. Didn’t tell me of any of the amenities or check out times. Just asked for id and payment. Not even a smile. The parking lot is small but clean. Doors were old and very loud when opening and closing. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Won’t be staying here again.

Place looks a little rough but it is just an older building. Never had an issue. Feels Safe. Perfect place to stay, take a shower, and continue on with your vacation. Would definitely recommend if you just need a place to relax.
