Motel 6 Glendale, CA – Pasadena Burbank Los Angeles

Everything was ok, but for the price it is what it is. The cleaning lady was very nice. Parking was a bit cramped. I would say if you don't mind just the bare necessities this place should do the job.

I really wanted to like the property but it's just so bad, I had to cut my weeklong stay after one night. GOOD: *Staff was friendly. *I actually liked the red mood light above the bed. *5 minute walk to Ralph's supermarket and Eagle Rock Plaza. *Fast internet. *A/C was good. BAD: *Upon check-in, you are suddenly told that you must pay a $50 deposit. I was not told about this in advance. *while not the worst area, it feels a bit sketchy. *Parking lot is very small and tight. *The metal table and chairs were very uncomfortable. *Bed was hard and noisy *Virtually no soundproofing. I could hear my neighbors aggressively bumping nasties, people pounding on doors late at night while loudly engaged in Spanish conversations and vehicles passing by at all hours. *The shower head was extremely filthy and covered in rust and limescale. *While it didn't happen at first, there was an odor from the bathroom that gradual got so bad I couldn't shower and by morning, I began to gag upon opening the door. *I found out that they don't give "Do Not Disturb” signs because they apparently have mandatory room service every 2 days. The man I spoke to claimed it is the law, and that I can't deny them entry (which sounded really bizarre, as none of the other hotels I stayed at earlier made this claim). Yet, he still offered me a DND sign and said he could call my to let me know when housekeeping would do their mandatory service. While the people hereare nice, I just cannot recommend this motel.

Upon entering the room there were bedbugs in the room and on the bed. The manager was unhelpful, stated a refund would be issued and it never was.

Please understand that I was looking for an inexpensive hotel for my dog and me for one night. This was not a luxury spa hotel. Which reminds me that you should remember to bring your own soap; there was none in the bathroom. My dog felt very comfortable and it is a quick drive to Verdugo Park which was a good walk for her. And easy parking.

Staff and facilities are way below expectation. Room rate exceeds other nearby motels that have much better facilities and room conditions.

Easy parking, but it was clear this location was very cheap with cleanliness. There was hair in my sink and the toilet paper roll had 1/4 of toilet paper left on it. The plastic cups appeared to have been opened as well. The bed was a wire frame and very uncomfortable as well.

Air conditioning & wifi were good. Clean enough room, cleaned everyday & fresh towels daily was much appreciated. Only issue was you can’t contact their customer service if you need to if phone calling is not available (we weren’t In America) if you need to discuss anything such as travel delays etc. was a good stay

Reserved a handicap accessible room since I am in a wheelchair. When I got to the place, even the check-in location was not accessible - had to climb up stairs. Then was informed that there were steps up to the “accessible room”. Was given option to stay in a room on the first floor near the only handicap parking space for additional fee. We paid it because it was late and we were tired. Got into the room and I could not get my wheelchair into the bathroom. No grab bars or ADA toilet. People upstairs partied until about 3 am. Horrible experience and would never recommend this place! No idea why it has a good rating on booking. Definitely no handicap accessible!!!!!!!!

Floor was a little dusty I noticed while wearing socks but everything else was clean. Fast hot water. Checking in was quick. Parking is tight so be careful. Slept well. 👍

I had to stay for an extended period of time and had great experience. Rates are affordable. The large room was very clean, located in a great area with food and activities within walking distance. The owners and staff were extremely friendly, responisve and accomodating. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend to those looking for a great place in Glendale at an affordable rate.

Location was good and cheap enough from memory. Good restaurant across the street and shops not too far away. Not too far from some popular tourist attractions like universal studios. Lighting in the room was pretty cool. When I went to check in the front desk tried to tell me I had booked 2 rooms when in fact had only booked 1. Caused a few hours of stress and uncertainty. Bathroom was a bit small and I know there are other places like this but due to the size of the bathroom the sink was actually outside of it and just in the general room. Not a fan of when this happens.

We were in LA for the same event the year before and had a positive experience with this motel then, so we rebooked this year. This time though, I booked my stay incorrectly (one bed for three people, 100% my bad), but when I got there I learned about error. They said there was nothing they could do to help me (no portable bed; no other rooms available) and insisted the best solution was for me to find somewhere else to stay and they would cancel my reservation. I did find somewhere else to stay, but they did not “cancel” my stay. They kept my money, told Hotels.com they weren’t giving it back, and possibly were able to rent out my room as well, because I didn’t follow the cancellation policy correctly (even though they told me to go elsewhere). Book with them at your own risk. You might have a pleasant stay or you might be out $500 on their word.

Toiletries are very small packages, so just bring your own but they do have them. Bring your own slippers if you don't want to walk on laminate/tile floors. There's no cushy chairs, but they do have a simple workbench with stackable chairs if you need to get some work done. I never asked about wi-fi, so i don't know if they have it. The one big improvement I'd recommend to them is to install a fan in the bathroom. There's a window you can open while showering but the moisture doesn't really vent out any better if you have it open or closed. But even with this minor issue, you just grab a towel and wipe down the mirror or dry it off with the hair dryer.

Great value option for solo traveler. Not much in terms of amenities, but for the price paid it had everything needed. No dislikes from my perspective. I wanted a value option while traveling for fun and this worked great.

If you like a hotel from the 50s this may be the place for you. It is quiet. You get what you pay for. Theowners try to accommodate

The bed was super hard, it had a counter to eat on but the chairs were for a dining table, not bar height, so my mouth was level with my plate. TV and satellite system was great!

I stayed in Eagle Rock last year. $5 per night for parking, $100 damage fee refundable, saw this Motel 6 last year while driving past and thru Booking. com it was 3 nites that came to $313. Just the amount I was keeping in mind. Parking was a little area but was right in front of my ground floor room. What I didn't like was having to leave Glendale to head back home in Vegas.

We are a displaced Professional Senior Citizens… Ww had been displaced for 11 months . The first time we stayed in June , very nice , uphill the Woman it’s a 3 family operated. Parents and 1 younger Son. He was great, offered us a Senior citizen discount 1st visit . But us Upstairs in the newer area. We were told we could stay until Sunday, until the mother /Wife came and No, you have to leave. We had our 2 dogs , and took us 5 hrs to move. We put all our things on the side of their Motel , So not to be in their way. Went and opened a storage space. then went to after they told us we couldn’t stay to Monrovia, which was more disgusting. There was hole on the underneath the bathroom sink cockroaches bedbugs is just disgusting fluid bodily fluids on the sheets. The bed is just gross., the next morning we asked to get a return her money. They said they would return us money in full. They gave me one night and told us to pack up and leave and they sat there and watched Too was limping upstairs with minimal packing just takes forever when you’re upstairs. next motel six Arcadia, which was lovely until they lost all their Wi-Fi. I went and asked the woman young woman downstairs also put us upstairs after we explain to them that we both any knee injuries that are severe. Please put us on the bottom floor no they had no room. They said we saw at least 10 people come and go during our five day visit. after that went to stay with a friend for six weeks, he then needed to do some work on the unit so we left at that point we were almost sleeping in the car went back to Motel 6 in Glendale with his family of three and the sun wasn’t there they did not give us a discount told us old interest with us before I said yes we were the ones that left our stuff on the side yes you can’t do that. I said yes I know it won’t happen again. The gentleman said the husband said don’t bring so much stuff in your room. management profiled and disrespectful made us move and threatened to make us move the third night if I didn’t pay more money and I have that on audio the wife blocked my booking.com for $113 and said that I’d have to pay $154 to stay in that room or check out by 11 and return at three why???? .

Misleading ad. Pictures had a kitchenette for the room. I get there and the staff tells me that they *do* have a kitchenette room, but that’s not the one I booked. They’re apparently using pictures from that room to advertise for all of their rooms to make their property look better than it is. Room wasn’t clean - cockroach found as well as human reproductive fluid on the bed sheets that at least weren’t bleached if they were cleaned at all.

Picture show a kitchenette that wasn’t accurate. Desk check in tried to double to deposit they asked for compared to what was shown in the app. No printed receipt available. Room had hair left behind in the shower and sink area. Ring parking lot made returning late at night difficult and may need to use street parking.

Low budget. You get what you pay for or maybe a little less. Lobby consists of a security window that you talk through. Did not service the room the first day and only made one bed of two on the second day. There are much better places in the area for not that much more.

I made reservations through hotels.com because me and my family were driving and need a place to sleep upon arriving. We were told we need to pay another hundred dollar deposit that would be returned to us within 5 to 6 business days. I was not doing too good with money so I couldn’t afford to lose another hundred however my three old songs in the car so my son‘s mother came out to use your card again. He was giving us to run around because he wanted both of us to be their sign. I had already went and show them my ID and show them where it was my three old son was in the car asleep. He expected us to go to the window and neither wake up or leave my son alone in the car, I was not about to do either one. He took it upon himself to cancel the reservation. He was very offensive gestures towards me and my son‘s mother and call the cops. Of course the Cubs didn’t take me in due to the fact that I did nothing wrong. However, we did not have a place to sleep and again my son was in the car with I kept repeating to him as I am right now

It’s a small older motel 6. Very close to the Hollywood Bowl which is why I stayed there. Price was very reasonable. It was clean bed was okay. I will say the window did not lock and they had a wood bar about 6 inches from window which would prevent a body from getting in through window. Door does not have the best locking mechanism. I felt safe enough.

The hotel is very basic but it worked for one night. Bed was comfy but walls were paper thin, the guy coughing next door sounded like he was in our bathroom! Noise from above too was annoying but we were so tired it didn’t bother us that much. The shower next morning was very hot and powerful and the a/c worked very well. Finally the woman on check in needs a lesson in politeness and courtesy.

They didn’t clean it. I found false eye lashes on top of the coffee machine. There was random debris on the floor. Walls are thin so I can hear other conversations and the AC wouldn’t work! I set it at 76 and kept having to get up and check it cause it would get as high as 80 to as low as 73! Never staying here again! I would asked to move but there was a long line and I was only staying one night

The walls had dirt and boogers on them, the bathroom wasn’t clean. When we came back to the hotel in the evening the door wouldn’t open and until we forced it open; we spoke to the owners, they said they’d get someone on it but they never did. The positives is that it was convenient for our purpose of travel and there was parking, albeit tight and limited, if you got there early you’d have a spot.

Unfriendly receptionist. Homeless people in parking lot. One light not working. A/C controls not working properly. Table bolted to the wall too high, with low chairs, so unusable to sit with a laptop. Towels were changed on day 2 but bed wasn't made. Don't stay there!

Have been to this Motel 6 in Glendale more than once. I like it because it's a simple hotel. Not too much amenities. I stay at this hotel when I'm in town with family and we go to a Dodgers game. The rooms are quite spacious with all the necessary amenities. I wouldn't recommend the downstairs room near the covered carport though. Tends to bring a lot of noise from the main street. I think the owners at this Motel 6 are wonderful along with the rest of the staff. I would definitely stay again when back in town. The rooms have big comfortable beds and big televisions also.

Was worried about limited parking in this boutique M6 Reno but we managed fine. Quiet. Comfortable bed, with over bed red mood light. Could have used bedside lamp with plug for cell phone charging. Had to hold the coffee pot up to get spring sensor to drip. Basic and sufficient for sleep quarters. Convenient locale. Food all around.

This was a recent conversion to Motel 6, and it does the brand justice. Pleasantly surprised by the size of our room and unique features. The fridge , micro and coffee service in the room was a plus. The staff was friendly and made check in a breeze. Parking was tight but easily available and accessed. Location for me was perfect as it was a few miles from a studio I was scheduled at. Nice neighborhood

I have used this place multiple times as for traveling for work. Every single time I come the workers here are extremely nice and welcoming and get me easy and fast check-ins. Rooms are always ready by check in time and really clean. I would recommend this 10/10 as there are also multiple options for food and the freeway is very close.

They didn’t let me check in and wasn’t able to take my family that’s from Oklahoma use their legal temporary identification card state issued so they had to stay in car for 6 hours to look for a opening somewhere else.

It is a Motel 6 now. It used to be the Glendale Inn. So no pool.

We arrived at 2pm and requested to check in early. We had to wait until 2:30. When we got into the room, it was basic. There wasn’t even a chair. 2 metal chairs for the bar/desk in the middle of the room, but that was it. Towels had unidentified stains on them. Pillows left a lot to be desired. Fridge was super cold and wafer pressure was amazing so those are some positives. No breakfast and you have to pay $0.25 for a bucket of ice. There are no vending machines. Honestly, it’s good if you don’t need ANYTHING. For the price, compared to other places, I’ll spend the little bit extra for the extras. Lesson learned. Will NOT stay here again.

We didn’t even stay. We were in line and the family in front of us were fighting back n forth with the guy at the window.. both made us very nervous so we ended up leaving and lost our deposit. The parking is horrible and it just looked so unsafe.

Our room flooded and I was not offered another room or any compensation or voucher to make up for the flooding. It’s not my fault that the lever to flush is faulty. Me and my friend had to literally mop the whole room for 3 hours

Very strange setup, it was dirty and small and hidden. We did not feel safe and barely slept while we were there. I will never stay there again

Just fine for a 1-2 day stay, would do again. Only issue I ran into was after I returned late from a concert all the motel parking was taken up so I had to park along the street next to the place (barely slept since it was only 2 hour parking during enforced hours). I should at the very least have a spot to return to despite the late hours if I’m paying to stay. Also I enjoyed the red light in my room, I think more places oughta do this.

It was a very good and easy check in process!

What I don’t like is it’s find of far for the Chinese restaurants. There aren’t any Chinese restaurants near by (like one or two miles).

On the positive side, it's well-located. Check in was simple, the A/C worked very well, the bathroom was clean and the plumbing was solid, it's plenty spacious, bed was comfortable, and the in-room appliances were very helpful. For what we paid for it, I think we got a solid deal. Want to stay in Glendale on the cheap? I think you could do much worse than this place.

Everything was good but trash was full

Called to request room on 1st floor because i have knee problems and i am arriving early morning the next day at 3am. Rep assured reservation on 1st floor. When i got there i was told that the only room available is on the 2nd floor so i am left with no choice. Left early in the morning and got back in the afternoon and was surprised the door was left open. Nothing was lost but leaving the door unlocked and open is a big no no!!!! Was totally upset. Will never go back to this hotel ever!

I've been feeling itchy the minutes I walked in. Even after a 20 mins shower, I still feel the itchiness all over my body. Will be my 1st and last time here.

Great for its location. Amazing front desk people.. you’re still in LA.. druggies walking around the street all day and night, but didn’t see anyone soliciting in the actual property.

Staff were friendly and were always available when needed. There's plenty of space to park, just make sure the cars are locked. The rooms were well kept and clean but the sheets/towels have holes/some stains which I expected since it is

I don’t recommend this place at all, the pictures are misleading, it’s not cleaned properly. There was what looked to be blood splatter on the overhead lighting fixture of the bed and on the walls. The coffee maker literally was dirty and dusty inside the water reservoir( tried to clean it and it was just to much actual dirt. We killed two baby roaches and what ever they washed the sheets in definitely made me ich( not my husband tho). There was also hair all on the shower wall.

Room was good for a simple one-night stay. Everything was a little outdated, but clean. Walls are very thin - the room next door was clearly having some late night fun for about a half hour that kept me up.

Best Motel 6 I have ever seen. Beautiful tile in the shower and bathroom floor. Beautiful lighted molding sculpture over the bed. Like a much higher grade hotel.

This place was quiet, clean and my pet was welcomed.

The room was very spacious and clean. Check in was fast and easy. Parking however is a bit awkward as its a small parking area and its not even.

We liked to proximity to Burbank airport

The bed was so very uncomfortable, the bathroom was very tiny, the showerhead was gross, the a/c unit was caked in dirt/dust, the towels were gross, stained and had holes, there was only one mirror in the whole room, so we all had to cram into a tiny area to get ready. Will never book here again! $130 was absolutely unreasonable for these accommodations!

The room was clean. It was in a decent location. I was on ground floor and could hear everyone next door and upstairs very loudly. People banging around upstairs until very late. Understood it’s an old property. The price was right and it was very conveniently located.

Motel 6 is just average. They are consistent in their mediocrity. But they are overpriced.
