Griffith Park Motel - LA Hollywood Area

Limited to no hot water. I shouldn't have to tell the owner that there is a lack of hot water. Table was uneven, every time I placed some weight on one side the other side would come off the floor. Not enough towels. Not enough soap. No actual blankets.

Clean room for last minute NYE plans. Really sweet and hospitable married couple. Modern renovations with sink and bathroom made the room feel cozy.

Big solid walls so the room was quiet. The location was within walking distance of a good breakfast place, a discount liquor store, a Cuban restaurant and a sushi restaurant. Free parking. The carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed. There were a few dead bugs on the walls. Only two pillows and not four on the bed. The AC was not on when first getting into the room so it took until 7 when the sun went down for the room to get cool.

Good location for me. Quiet neighborhood. Fridge with a separate freezer. Small rooms. Tight bathroom. Only two bath towels provided. No facial tissues even when requested. Tight parking.

Upon arrival, I was in a hurry to do a quick check in and get to work on time. I was met by the kindness and most welcoming gentleman and his wife. He offered me a room immediately, but went above and beyond that. He said he had a nicer room available later, and if I would allow him to move my bags, he would take care of the room swap and I would return to a different, more inviting room. Talk about 5 star service! Well at 3 am I returned to a new room- simple, clean, basic necessities, and I loved it…. Until I woke up ABSOLUTELY COVERED IN TERRIBLE SPIDER BITES!!! The few days I was there, I received more bites, probably rid the planet of a colony or two with my boots and tissues, and barely slept due to painful itchy sores. I’d stay again for a discount, simply because of who runs it. But if peace and kindness costs me some nibbles, I definitely need a reduced price.

Great location and excellent price. Very clean. The painted birds on the ceiling added so much character to the room. Convenient parking. I loved the nearby restaurants, too. I have no complaints.

It's a great place to stay for a short time. It was clean pleasant and quiet. I liked the decor and the shower is great!

Mural painting on ceiling. Bed was hard as a rock. No toiletries, or wash cloths. The bathroom door didn't fully open because of sink. First channel you get when turning on the t.v. was porn. Paper thin walls, could hear neighbors having sex.

I liked the VERY clean room and modern bathroom fixtures, I liked the historic motel and the family that runs it. I had hoped for a better price because the room was surprisingly small. However it is a great location

Did not like: The old patched up mattress. Sheets did not fit the mattress properly and was too worn out. There was only 2 bath towels. No bath mat, no wash cloths, and no hand towels. I had to ask for the missing wash cloths and hand towels, but was given only 1 wash cloth, and 1 hand towel to share with my husband. There should've been 2 sets of all those towels for 2 people when we checked in, like they do at other motel/hotels. Other than that, the place is okay though. It's a no frills motel and it's affordable.

Nothing Filthy room. There was a very dirty and stained mattress cover and on top of mattress cover was a piece of vinyl!? With a sheet on top. Very unusual and so unsanitary. I slept on top of a beach blanket, so grossed out. My bathroom window was knocked or blown out in the middle of the night. I was alone and pretty frightened by this No hot water. The man said “you have to turn the knob all the way to the left” as if…. Only stayed one night

The owners were loud and yelling. The worst experience ever.

I made my reservation at around 11pm for the same night. The woman who checked me in was friendly, professional and accommodating. The room was affordable and quiet, allowing me to get some much needed rest.

Dirty. I carry alcohol wipes and wiped the table, for starters. My wipe was disgustingly, filthy. Chairs are old and rusty. Tv is a very cheap tv. First and last time.

Its a quiet little spot and nobody bothers you. There is a fridge and microwave, Regular cable TV with over 400 channels

VERY NICE STAFF...SAFE PARKING..Way way too small ..no leg room in bathroom..no hot water..bed was hard as rock..noisy at night...no cable..

Room is very hot and no AC, no bars on window that is out to the street. And the TV shows only porn. Asked for a refund but didnt get it. very disappointed from this booking , will not use your services again.
