Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Rancho Cordova/Folsom

This was a great place to stay for a quick getaway to go paddle boarding with my dog at Lake Natoma and Folsom Lake. The room was sizeable and had a kitchen, and everything was nice and clean. I was able to park right outside my window which I appreciated, and I always like when you can open the windows to get fresh air. They had nice blackout screens as well. The shower head was mounted oddly so that was awkward but not a deal breaker. The free hot breakfast was a bonus. There are clearly some folks living in the hotel who are down on their luck, but everyone was friendly and I felt safe. The area is quiet even though it's also super close to the highway. I would definitely stay there again.

The property is currently under renovation. I wished the app or hotel could have disclosed that before we arrived. Room was clean, the pool was manageable, but not kept well and offered no shaded umbrellas or pool towels. The interior hallways and lobby are still in renovation so saw dust was in the air. Breakfast as decent. I would wait for it to fully be restored before coming back. Or maybe pick something more decent for the price I paid for.

The place was heavily under construction. The room was not cleaned well with a ton of white residue in the fridge. The toilet seat was barely attached and the bed and loveseat had multiple stains on them

We were not made aware beforehand that the hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay. There were workers right outside our room fixing the walls, which was definitely unexpected. However, the staff were incredibly kind and great throughout our visit. Hopefully, the experience will be much better once the renovations are fully completed.

The property was under construction which was not disclosed in the booking. Smelled like cigarettes in lobby. My family room smelled so bad like cigarettes I had to ask to be moved to another room. The new room was less smelly but the mattress had dark stains on the sides which was disturbing. There were strange ppl just loitering and partying in the corner of the parking lot and there were needles in the wood chip area between the neighboring lot where I was walking my dog.

Hotel was nice. Hotel was under renovation, so the room was clean but the construction affected the experience. There was some “cleanliness” issues with the room, but nothing to write home about.

Our room only had 2 towels to start. In 4 days our room was never touched or towels restocked. Other than that, stay was fine.

We stayed here because it was close to the hospital I was having surgery at. While I was in the hospital the manager harassed my 70 year old mother and Autistic grandson. My grandson is Autistic the manager did not give any understanding or compassion towards him or the struggle to maintain his nervous system. Instead of just asking my mother to find another motel or evening moving her and my grandsons to the first floor instead of the third floor, he pulled some stunt with her credit card. He ran her card when she tried to pay for another night and told her it was declined. This was a bold faced lie, as she used that same card at the gas station for 100 dollars in gas and she used it at the grocery store to buy food. The manager here is non supportive of the elderly or the autistic community.

Very run down….dirty, dusty carpet, sticky floors, paint chipping. Old fridge in rooms replaced but they just left the old one?! Loud humming at night from 2 refrigerators. Breakfast was sub par…and rather than letting people help themselves, they have someone serving the eggs and oatmeal so no one can take too much! And a tip jar for the “gatekeeper” person spooning out the eggs. No possibility for a late check out…not even 30 extra mins!

I figured I would get up because sleep was impossible and went down to get breakfast around 6:45. There wasn’t any breakfast, there was some cereal and coffee. I went by the front desk to talk about the situation upstairs and they said “it’s a difficult situation” and nothing was done about it. The hallway was full of food and cookies and coffee grinds. I was also locked out of my room in the early morning and my key card randomly didn’t work.

Good place! The only problem was the TV sis not work ! Spend 5 hours going back n forth with front desk to fix it and it did not work! The place is clean and close to the freeway!

The beds , bathroom, and floors seemed cleaned, but the base floors were so disgusting. Don’t think they have been cleaned in years, literally black with nasty stains. The breakfast was ok , but they serve it for you which was strange. and on top of that they constantly ran out of stuff. Plan to go early! Staff was never in the front desk. And if you think the pool looks like the picture. It doesn’t. They don’t even have the umbrellas out and it’s very run down and old looking. I can tell they are remodeling the whole place ,but the pictures online are very deceiving to what you actually get.

The staff was very helpful when I needed to change my days of staying at the hotel. They helped me solved the problem without any issues. We were there for a sport event and will book the same hotel when we attend the race the next year.

Property is in being remodeled, dust and dirt everywhere. Barking dogs in rooms, doors slam shut with a noise, room door have gaps so noise travels inside. Breakfast was included but was very limited, fruit looked rotten, no cream for coffee.

The breakfast is terrible. The dining hall is like a motel 6. The food is served like cafeteria style and prepared out of a closet. I honestly think it’s all microwaved. They had some omelettes which consisted of half a slice of cheese in the middle. It was disgusting. All of the juice is watered down and so is the syrup. I don’t even know what kind of liquid that is coming out of their coffee machine, but it is not coffee. The potatoes taste like freezer burn. The quantity of food that is put out is limited and she will straight up. Tell you that there’s no more. I even seen her tell a family that she didn’t have any more eggs which I thought was so crazy. Make sure you tell them you want housekeeping every day because they won’t clean your room on request. The pools in the weird spot it’s always in the shade. This should be called. Do it yourself hotel if you want clean linens you gotta exchange them at the front desk. If you want your room swept you gotta ask for the broom every thing you need, you have to ask for and then do it yourself. I told him there was a smell in my room and I think maybe it was the garbage disposal he almost really just handed over a gallon of Drano to me expecting me to pour some in my sink and I looked at him crazy like no, you need to come do that he had a problem with me, putting my garbage in the hallway and told me to put it in the broiler room and he really did show me where at.

The refrigerator was extremely noisy and disturbed sleep at night. I stayed for 11 nights, and when I asked for fresh towels, I was told I needed to bring used towels back in order to get clean ones, which was not acceptable for a hotel service. Housekeeping was not provided unless it was requested in advance at the front desk, which was inconvenient for a long stay. When housekeeping finally came, they left the window open, and a lot of flies got into the room afterward. Overall, the service and room maintenance were far below expectations.

The hotel was disgusting. It smelled horrible and there were homeless people eating at the breakfast which I understand if they stayed there but they didn’t. The floors in the room were nasty and the body wash that was in the shower was half used so it was left over from whoever stayed before us. I will not ever stay here or recommend this place to anyone.

The room was horrible! But the first thing I smelled was mildew in the hallways. It was strong and that was a sign. The room I was given shock me so bad I was in disbelief it was open for occupancy. Damage door lock, smashed-in door, food shlop on the walls in various places, dents and holes on the walls, unfinished painted walls. What made me get out of there were bugs coming out of one the holes on the walls. I stayed at Hamptons before and had a very pleasant experienced. But this place needs investment because it was in need of desperate repair. No such hotel with such potential should be neglected like this one was.

The room was nice and worked perfect for our needs. The shower very nice- there were a few scraps/dings on the walls and floors but that is it be expected and was not off putting my any means. very strong, bad smell extremely dirty the elevator the flooring looks like it had not been cleaned or mopped in months. Our room was dirty. There was leftover pizza in the microwave unfinished furniture. The carpet was dirty and filthy. Look like it had not been vacuumed in weeks.

We had a pet friendly room and it was very clean and I liked having laminate flooring versus carpet. The hotel is definitely dated but worked for us quite well.

All and all a good warm bed to sleep clean room. Staff don’t pay attention very well specially when it comes to handicap accessible rooms. I made a request when I made the reservation but it wasn’t honored.

I really want to love this hotel, but I just can't give it the highest possible scores. My husband and I were there for three nights. We were given one small bar of soap. There should be one next to the sink and one in the shower. It was easy enough to get more from the housekeeper. I unintentionally booked a room without a cooktop, so we had just a tiny microwave. We did, however, have a nice apartment size refrigerator. The room amenities list showed that the room had cookware/dishes/utensils. It didn't, but it did have a dishwasher. Odd. When I asked about it at the front desk, another employee overheard me and let me into the breakfast room so I could grab paper plates and plastic utensils. Breakfast was ok, eggs, potatoes and some kind of protein each day. They also had waffles, bagels, English Muffins and yogurt. The juice machine said 100% orange juice. It was easily the most watered-down juice I'd ever had. Renovations are still going on, just as they were a year ago. The fire door on the third floor was off the hinges, I think because the frame was being painted. Doesn't matter, it's a safety issue. There was a sign on the first floor next to the door going outside next to the pool. It said anyone caught propping the door open would be evicted. However, the workers had propped the door open once with a rock and once with a towel. The room was clean, shower was great, bed was comfortable. Just a lot of little annoyances.

The weekend staff at the breakfast was horrible. At 8:35 on a Saturday there was no apple juice or coffee both reg and Decaf with a roll of the eyes when something was said.

My room is very cozy and cleaned. But the breakfast is very limited. The lady serves sausage and egg look not very pleasant.

Our room on first floor was missing window screens. It was apparent someone had tried to break in. When trying to open window to air out room, only opened 3 inches and had other hotel guests drinking and smoking right outside our window. Were told no other rooms available. Manager was nice and refunded our money so we could go stay somewhere else.

The rooms are big and beyond reasonable in price. Our room had a king sized bed, refrigerator, microwave, and stovetop along with all the usual amenities! They offer a real complimentary breakfast, not just packaged sweet rolls and coffee and they have friendly staff members there to serve you the hot food. The front desk staff are kind, quick, and efficient. The cleaning crew are LOVELY and do a great job: hallways are clean, tables and decor in common areas are dust free, even the parking lot is litter free. They offer online check in/check out and checkout isn’t until 12 PM so you don’t feel rushed to vacate your room. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in the area. Thank you to everyone and Hawthorn Suites, our stay was perfect.

Room was dirty. Stove, walls, and window area. Main bed cover had various stains, even what looked like blood. This was booked as a room for 5. Had to request a roll in bed. Which was delived but no bed linen was delivered. Went down to ask for bedding/pillows and had to stand and wait as the desk person played on his phone. He just ignore us. Final got bedding sent up. Had to call down again because the pillows didnt show. Just an all around unpleasant experience. Never again here.

Really enjoyed our stay here ..nestled in a quiet community in Folsom ......was nice to get away from the busy city life....the rooms were super spacious which is always a plus and the breakfast was pretty good too ....we got there kinda late ....but they still kept it open for us to enjoyed nice hot breakfast plate with eggs , bacon and Belgian waffles .....overall all I would say I definetly recommend this hotel and we will be back soon. Right next door is a McDonald's and a taco bell . Thanks s you to the staff

I had precooked most of the meals and when I tried to open the silverware drawer there it was very sticky and I found 1 dull knife, then I looked for dishes there was one dish. I was told it was being renovated next week. The beds were excellent and a new floor. I had to leave the next morning because the sink wouldn't drain and the bathtub didn't have a plug and it wouldn't drain?????

Bathroom & floors appeared clean to us. Kitchenette with micro, coffee maker and apt size very nice and all working correctly. Bed very comfortable. TV and its remote worked as expected. Even sofa in room was very comfortable. Hotel itself was very quiet. Continental breakfast was still available at 9am. We've stayed here a few times before and we keep coming back here. The rooms are pretty consistent each time.

Such a great experience! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Everything was easy, smooth, and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Outside the rooms, the halls are littered, unvacuumed, weird black crust on elevator buttons and smear marks for the 3 days we were on site that never had been wiped. The lobby was dirty and looked messy. Very, VERY disappointed and disgusted. Check in was good and the hotel was quiet which was nice. The kitchen ladies, once again were nice and food was decent! I gave higher marks last stay but this time, I was disappointed with walking in this place. Good luck but this place needs to step up on quality, majorly!

The room they give us had mold. Blood stains on sheets, and couche was durty. They couldn't change us rooms! We had to stay for my sons event, luckily it was only one night. They need to fix that problem and and not put it up to book until is fix. We felt really sick, specifically my kids. I already send a Email to the hotel but theres still no respond from them.

Staff was really nice. They couldn't find luggage cart so I had to hump everything up to my room, but the desk helped help me carry some stuff. The floor was dirty and there was no soap in the room. I had some in my bag so I didn't bother asking for any. It had a kitchenette, but there were no utensils, bowls, cups, or plates in the dishwasher was broken.

It was the room itself. Ants were coming out of the AC. When I used the stove, it caught fire.

The breakfast was great, they may have been short staffed, I was on the third floor and the elevator was always stinky and very dirty, the carpet looked nice but had not been vacuumed for a month, in front of my room was a fingernail and lots of stuff all throughout the hall, I told the desk to let them know it needed vacuuming up there we stayed 4 days and it never got vacuumed. The room was roomy and great, but very dirty kitchen. Smelled like pets. I bought air freshener to hide the smell.

***Pulled out couch has a condo in it, asked to change rooms but they said nothing was available. Their fix was giving us a clean flat sheet. WTH! We choose this hotel due to proximity to relatives. It's not the fanciest place, and shows some signs of wear & tear, but rooms are clean, comfortable, and affordable, which is all we need when attending family gatherings nearby. We appreciate the kitchenettes, since we're often bringing potluck items that need to be heated or refrigerated. We also appreciate the slightly-larger-than-usual size of the rooms (good for families). We've stayed a couple times and would stay again.

The room was fine but the staff was very rude. Especially the breakfast staff; my boyfriend andI waited for the other patrons to finish making their plethora of waffles and finally when the waffle maker became available, the attendant came and unplugged/ dismantled things right as we were about to use it. Because of this, I honestly wouldn’t stay again. We were the last two people in there and had been waiting at least 20 mins for the other people ahead of us to finish.

Super fast check in bc we already did it online. Automatically gave us two keys which was nice. Plus the person at the front desk I think was the GM and he was very friendly and cordial.

This was not a pleasant stay. The hallways smelled of weed and cigarette smoke. The rooms felt old and worn. Some of the gym equipment also didn't work/was broken and left out.

I was kicked out at 11am for supposedly complaints of smoking however i was at work for 10 hours when complaint made..kicked out unecessarily and no fault of my own and not given refund want to dispute charges

This is an excellent hotel, very convenient, clean and quiet area , remodeled bathroom. It has couch and coffee table. Ive stayed in this hotel many times and definitely continue for my upcoming trips with this hotel. Highly recommended.

I had almost no interaction with any staff. I take from the no interaction that nothing was wrong, everything worked and the cleanliness when I arrived was great. The bed was very comfortable, the sofa was ok, but not as in good of condition as the bed. Based on everything else in my room, maybe a new sofa would be in the nearer future. Honestly now, a perfect stay of 7 nights. And for the Black Friday deal I received I was very satisfied. When I can afford you again, I will be back.

I have been in several hotels in the lat fews weeks none compared to this site . Great customer service, friendly staff, amazing room. I slept so well like being home. Then breakfast the next day omelets bacon and some many other options. I would recommend this site to all who travel. They get 5 stars from me!

I did the online check-in (which was a bit invasive, having to upload my ID) in an effort to save time and speed check-in. However, it made no difference. I had to essentially repeat the entire process. I would never use the online check-again. In person check-in was fine.

Bathroom was good. Nice shower. Beds were a bit hard. Woke up with back pain each morning. Room had some untreated damage to drywall corners and had a light bulb burned out near the bathroom and another one completely missing in the can light above the kitchenette. Staff was friendly.

Location was central to our needs. Easy access to fwy and streets. Property is decently maintained for its age. In room shower was fantastic! Parking slots are a tad narrow, especially for a large pickup. Breakfast prepared fresh in-house was very good.

Wasn’t not a pleasant stay. Room was dirty and old food was left behind in the microwave it was disgusting. Brought that down to the desk and they didn’t care. Missing the hair dryer in the room and the coffee pot was broken. There was no luggage carts to bring up or down all our luggage. The breakfast was very busy and lots of kids running around the area spilling food. Iv never wrote a bad review but I would not stay again.

Top latch of room door was broken and when I alerted this to the front desk to get it replaced they were not receptive and did not replace the lock during my stay. There was also a stain on my bedsheet.

Very dated, room (I think it was the carpet) smelled terrible. We asked the front for an extra pillow and never got it. Bed was not comfortable.

I called before completing the booking to ask if the hot tub was working and they assured me that it was. I asked again when I was checking in and they assured me yes. Then when I’m all in my bathing suit, I find out that it’s absolutely cold and they literally lied to my face. Then they promised me a manager would fix it in the morning and then the person at the front desk in the morning laughed at me because there is no manager on Saturdays. The most unbelievable unprofessional experience at a hotel I have ever had. They will not give me a refund. They literally tricked me into getting the room because the only reason I went was for the hot tub. So I sat in this dingy room with a tiny TV where paints peeling off the walls and all this awful remodeling and I still didn’t even get to use the hot tub.

First room we were placed in had white stains on the couch and found a fairly large cockroach climbing on the cabinet. Hallways reek of cigarette smoke, even though clearly marked "no smoking" all over. We were moved to a new room that was ok (no bugs found) since it was late and no options close by allowing pets.. Property does not look like the pictures posted online when booking the stay. Overall disappointed. There is a sign in lobby stating they are remodeling so hopefully they will make needed improvements.

After checking in and going to the room, the room assigned had not been cleaned, so I had to go and get another room. The breakfast was good, and Wyndham is doing a pretty good job with keeping the hotel

Swimming pool and hot tub

There was a problem with the room I originally reserved and was given a different type of room. I went to get clean towels and the front desk said there were no clean towels at the moment and would send some to the room but never sent them.

The room I had was not cleaned very well. Disgusting stuff on the blanket that had someone else’s hair stuck to it, hair on the toilet that was not mine, pink mold on the shower head, and the water was cold in the shower to top it off.

Lightings are broken. Will choice other hotels or inn.

This is a safe nice neighborhood. The breakfast was mediocre, the room was okay for cleanliness, but the staff and service was great. Didnt matter what I needed and at what time the staff was helpful. This is a good place if your on a budget.

With that said, we found overall that the room was clean, the pool was clean. We enjoyed the free breakfast and the staff was kind and helpful

Place is really run down. Staff is nice but shortened my staff because it felt unclean. Chipped paint, roaches, bloody sheets, and hallway smelled HEAVILY of feet!

Con: Pet upcharge of $30 per pet per night is STEEP Info: the property is undergoing renovation to freshen furnishings. Our room had not been done yet. It's going to be great when it's completed!

The hot tub was cold the first night we tried it, but was properly heated by the next time we got in. The pool lights wouldn't turn on after dark, despite attempts by the staff to turn them on. At one point, we requested clean towels and they were out of clean towels. It definitely seems like some folks are permanently living there. We didn't feel terribly unsafe, but I wouldn't let my kids out of my sight. We will not stay here again, despite friendliness of staff.

A little sketchy area. People hanging out late hours outside. Nice staff. Nice cleaning staff. Old hotel poor and warn out furniture. The parking was bad. Not enough room and we had to park in a McDonald’s restaurant on a number of occasions.

Good price

The room was dirty. There were hairs all over the bathroom and a plastic cup wedged in behind the TV. Looks like the room was just surface cleaned but had a very bad smell to it.

It was very clean & easy to find parking

Like the price, the room size was ample, nicely renovated, newer upgraded bathroom, small kitchenette if needed. The provided breakfast was very good, no complaints. The downside, which I really needed, is there was no internet as advertised despite trying for over an hour to login on my laptop using the password that was provided, and the wireless signal was weak. Because I was only in the room in the evenings I was frustrated being unable to do work. Last thing, the view of the sea containers wasn't too exciting. Hope the next time is better.

The room is dirty. Food on the walls. At least i hope its food. Bathroom door is broken. Like someone punched a hole in it. Furniture has burn marks and the couch has a hole in the arm and stains all.over it. Wood on all Furniture is chipped or cracked. The TV does not work. There is only 1 lamp in the room it is very dark. Staff was kind and efficient. Im not sure whose fault it is that it is so filthy here.

This hotel was below average for my family. We travel every other month. The linens were clean and the beds comfortable. The refrigerator and freezer worked. The breakfast options were less than Best Western so I would not recommend eating here. The rooms need maintenance especially with the high humidity. The room kitchen needs updating, dishes, and silverware so you can warm up food. There were hand prints on the headboard. The staff was nice even if they were not truthful. The parking lot felt unsafe at night with trash and broken glass but they were cleaned up in the morning. I would not stay here again with small children. I think it is fine for adults.

First room i got smelled terribly. The 2nd room was a little better but was dirty. The whole Hotel was dirty and smelled.

Cockroaches in the room, hair and dust everywhere, very dirty. Couldn't stay the night, ended up leaving and booking a different hotel.

We had to move 2 times and the 3rd room we were given was no better. The first room we were given was being cleaned, second smelt like smoke so bad and we have a daughter with asthma, third room was very musty and the air didn’t work. Pulled out the sofa bed and it was dirty. Very dissatisfied with this hotel. It used to be so clean and it has really went down hill.

Upon arrival we learned that due to some issue our room was downgraded but I will say that staff was very polite and accommodating. The staff accommodated rollaway bed in the room. However, we had to go to the front desk with our dirty towels and ask for new ones in return. That's what the front lady told us. Secondly, the room was very dirty, I had to wipe the drawers to put in my stuff. Thirdly, the shower door didn't close properly and there is no place in the shower area to place bathing accessories. I am not sure if I will be coming here again, if Iwould then it would be for the very polite and respectful staff.

The hotel was very nice. The room was very spacious and staff was great.

Bathroom was not cleaned, floor of bathroom had hair from last guest and crap under the seat, which was disgusting! Floor of hallway was dirty, visible trash. Elevator smelled like crap one day, like someone crapped in it. Not happy with our stay, would not stay again nor recommend it.

The staff were super nice. We really liked everyone there. I feel if the staff is good then small things like these dont seem to matter that much. Thank you to the staff.

Obvious signs of wear and tear. Hot cold backwards, broken ironing board, no chair whatsoever, very limited kitchen items. Stingy with towels, hot breakfast and service. Pay more somewhere else.

This hotel has many wonderful pros (breakfast and staff) unfortunately there was also a few cons. Our room was a multiple bed suite and had no chair and the kitchen area was dirty. Also the pool area has no lights. Swimming at 9pm leaves it pitch black. Also the smoking area had no ash tray. Even though there was a few flaws I’d definitely go back. I had a blast!

From the moment I arrived I felt uncomfortable. I saw this in the parking lot. (See photo) The halls and elevator have never been cleaned… or it’s been years. There was a strong odor. The room itself was clean, but seeing the hallway I felt unsure and was checking for bed bugs! Never again!

Overall it was a very nice stay. The rooms were clean. The only issue we had with the room was that it had a very strong odor of marijuana. Apparently the folks that were there prior were kicked out for smoking weed in the room. We were given a spray of air freshener to help mask the odor but it didn’t really help. The other issue was the ironing board was very old as the cover slipped easily off and could not stay on. Other than that, the room was very comfortable. The only other issue we encountered was that 2 out 4 nights we spent there our room keys stopped working and we had to keep going’s downstairs to the front desk to have them reprogrammed. A key not working is not good when trying to get in to the room after a long drive to use the bathroom. Even after all that, I thought it was a nice stay and would start again.

Possibly the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff was friendly but the entire place smelled like stale food. Room was not clean on arrival. Handle on microwave partially broken. Towel rack barely secure.

Furniture was broken and drawer was missing, no fan in bathroom, very noisy from rooms above.

This place came with a huge fridge and a huge room .. furniture was a bit out dated and was very worn out but over all ok stay

Our room was DISGUSTING. We knew there was going to be issues when walking down the hall there was a trail of half eaten bread slices that started right next to the reception desk. When we walked into the room there was an offputting odor. We were on the first floor and windows were left open, (this is not a great neighborhood). Fire sprinklers were wrapped in plastic. Overall didn’t feel like a safe place to be. Mold in the bathroom and kitchen. Piles of dirt and hair left in the corners of bathroom and kitchen area. Food and toothpaste on the walls. Shower had sticky crap on the floors and walls. Food was still on provided utensils. Old coffee left in the pot. We brought in sleeping bags because we didn’t trust the cleanliness of the bedding. Which was CHEAP. The room was in disrepair with the dresser and microwave missing pieces and smashed in. The toilet made an unholy noise with every flush. When I spoke to management they refunded the night and blamed renovation for the condition of the room… I think otherwise. Anyways this place is a Dumpster Fire.

The night guy with long hair was awesome and very helpful. Any other staff I encountered, especially what seemed to be the day manager she was a woman and all the housekeepers were a huge thumbs down. I was made to feel like a bother for switching out my towels on day 2 and for anything else I may of needed. The woman staff there are unfriendly and had stank faces!

Hotel is a little worn, but that's okay. Bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was missable. But the main problem was the floor of my room - it was filthy. See the photos. I don't know if that's dog hair or human hair, or both flying off my shoes when I cross my legs, but the floor was covered with it. Looked like it hadn't been swept in weeks. Don't know if it was just my room or a general problem, but I won't be going back to find out.

It was a clean and quiet room recently updated bathroom, new walk in shower and fixtures, the rest of the room could use the same updating tired could use a a pop of color and updated furniture.

Walked in and immediately noticed the couch was dirty. The bedding had hair on it and the bathroom counter had hair and what look like makeup. The fridge had someone’s food who stayed there previously. There was no trash can to throw it away. No phone in the room so I called using my cell to let them know and if we could get someone to clean and change the bedding and the guy said they didn’t have anyone but brought up new bedding and two small towels so I can wipe down the counters. He didn’t take the food out the fridge so I had to leave it in the counter so I could put my food in it. The room was definitely not cleaned, it was very obvious that they just had someone remake the bed and that was it.

People were very courteous but needed shower door fixed (wouldnt stay closed). That was never fixed. Also trash cans weren't picked up the day we were gone all day before returning about 700 pm.

The staff was terrific. The building is safe and secure and quiet, but overall somewhat run down. Our bathroom had no fan, maybe none do? Would be a good addition.

There was a roach in my room as well as some mysterious gunk on one of the nightstands. Also immediate cigarette smoke smells, and weird mildew smell throughout the building. Staff was helpful. For some reason housekeeping was at like 3:30pm. My curtains didn’t close all the way and my room was next to some bright lights in the parking lot which was annoying. Breakfast was decent, though I have doubts about their food safety, considering the roach I saw at the end of my stay. Would not reccomend nor come back.

We did not get the adjoining rooms that we asked for, and needed to be able to call into rooms-but there were not working phones. They could not get our rooms right next to each other.

Moderate pricing and excellent location

For a quick overnight this hotel is ok wouldn’t want to spend more than that here. The shower handle fell off in my hand, the bathroom was gross, missing caulking, weird stains all over. The kitchenette sink still had food in the drain. The pool was dirty. Like I said for a quick overnight just to sleep it’s ok.

Bathrooms and floors are renovated with latest styles. Quiet guests.

Budget friendly, clean, quiet, great service, free hot breakfast and fresh fruit, very close to American River bike trail for great biking, a few restaurants nearby by car.

There was no phone in my room, the room I booked is not what I got and when I brought it up to the hotel staff they pretty much said well there’s nothing we can do about that so do you just wanna go stay somewhere else? …. Offered no other possible resolution or compensation in fact said they wouldn’t even consider compensation. Also the room was dirty: I clean every room I stay in this is the only one that I used a whole thing of Clorox wipes and had to go buy microfiber cloths instead just to get past the layers is dirt (looked clean til you wiped)

Friendly staff

The room was quite nice, extra large and fairly well equipped with a small but real coffee maker (as opposed to those terrible little keurig knockoffs) My one complaint is that if you book through Expedia, you don't get a receipt/invoice - not from Expedia (they tell you to get it at the hotel) and not from the hotel - they say they don't have access to the bill/payment. After a lengthy discussion with the clerk, she weirdly printed a piece of paper with the hotel name and address but no actual information such as the cost, date, etc. Just to emphasize what she was trying to say about "we don't have access" I guess. So stupid!

Really nice hotel in a very quiet area. Great staff, and breakfast was excellent with eggs, sausage, and a waffle maker. Also cereal, fruit- something for everyone. The bathroom could use some paint , no silverware in the kitchenette, but otherwise a great place

I feel i few areas need improvement, the rooms need to be updated with alot of the furniture old or simply missing. Same with appliances also needed upgrading. Didn't care for the breakfast policy of not being able to feed ourselves & having someone else make our plates. The hotel needs to do a better job of running off the undesirable element that hangs around the hotel especially with families with children being there alot. Lastly the parking situation is not good with it being not enough parking for the guest staying at the hotel & being forced to parked on the street in the back of hotel.

The room was dirty. Mold in the bathroom. Fridge stunk. Bed was old and bowed in the middle. Everything smelled musty. Ac unit smelled mildewy. But the people were nice and helpful.

It felt okay for a quick overnight on my way home. The bed was nice, the shower was good once I figured out the handle is backwards. I seem to be some sketchy people in the parking lot that made me a little uncomfortable. The staff was really nice.

This was by far the worst hotel experience we've had. I went for a walk outside the premises and it smelt like urine, trash was everywhere, and it definitely felt unsafe. I also used the fitness center one morning where equipment was broken.

Was told while checking in that they updated the rooms. && that there is no more carpet now they have wood looking floors. Got to my room & there was still carpet. It wasn’t updated. & windows were left open I assume to get the smell of smoke out but it made the room cold. & the tv I tried turning on to drain the sounds I could hear through the walls and people form outside but that too didn’t work.
