Needed a clean space while home was being renovated. Drury is perfect! Dinner and drinks is such a great concept. Room super clean. No complaints. Manager Dee is wonderful also

They were in the middle of doing some renovation on the fourth floor. I stayed on the third floor, so it was kind of noisy when I checked in that morning on the first floor they were doing some renovations to as well.

They told us when we checked in about construction. That was not a problem. However, the buffet for breakfast, did not look appetizing, was not being monitored appropriately, so we skipped it. Overall, not a great experience. Room was ok.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I've never stayed in one before an expected like the "clean motel" experience as I just needed something basic for a few days. But it was definitely more. The food exceeded expectations. Breakfast and kickback, drinks, staff, everything. Little touches like the pantry and fresh popcorn were so nice. They even had this cool indoor outdoor pool. Rooms were a little better than I expected. Slightly older but not floral bed spread old :) Loved the staff too. A simple place but felt homey. Not much. I think the lighting in the rooms needs some assessment but that's it really.

Property location was perfect for the event I was there for. I had booked a ADA room and was fine with the size. There were signs of age and some issues with the rug showing some damage which was tolerable. What was intolerable was when I got in the shower and to my shock there was long dark hair that had been left in the tub. I’m bald and my wife has short blonde hair. You do the math?

When I landed for High Point Furniture conference, I checked into a hotel that was absolutely horrible and immediately checked out. I landed at the Drury Inn and honestly they really knocked it out and did great. Coffee is fantastic and ready all the time which is a big need for me and my startup team. Also, the breakfast really came in handy. Everything is clean. Bathrooms are clean and that is a big plus in today’s America.

In case I do not get an opportunity later in this survey, we would like to acknowledge Dee. She has the most friendly, infectious smile in the building. She was helpful and informative. Breakfast was good but repetitive. There was trouble with ice machine workings. Our room did not get cleaned everyday. Some days only trash was collected, no beds were made. Security felf safe to have around considering area is rough. Housekeeping never said "Good Morning" they seemed very stressed. Front office was nice, informitive, and pleasant.

But found out when I arrived! They offered ear plugs but we didnt need them . We could barely hear anything. Very friendly staff, good meal, they offer a breakfast and dinner menu and 2 adult beverages per adult! The hot tub was indoor and so was the pool! Had another pool outside! Will stay there again!

The staff was approachable and kind. We only stayed one night and got complementary dinner for four, two free adult beverages and also the breakfast for four the next morning was included. We were pleasantly surprised. We will be back!

wasnt told at time of reservation that the hotel was under construction untill day of check in we had no other choice then to check in and stay because of last minute notice we were woken up at 7am by the noise and water was shut off for a wile till i called main office to complain

Staff was super friendly and attentive. Excellent amenties for the price. Pool and hot tub was clean and enjoyable. Property was undergoing construction and was loud throughout the day. We were out most of the day, anyhow. Beds were not comfortable and the pillows were mediocre.

Staff was very friendly! Our room was less than ideal and definitely needs better lighting in vanity area. The bathroom is so small, the window curtain was shredded, and the headboard had weird stains. The included beverages and food were great. My kids really enjoyed the breakfast both days. The bartender was super nice. For the price it was fine, but the hotel overall could definitely use an update.

When we arrived we were told that there was construction on the roof and there were continuing loud bangs of the roof into the night and then starting at 8:00am. We left and explained the situation to a person at Expedia so we could get our prepaid room charge of $122 refunded.

I enjoyed my stay here and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and everything was comfortable. The only issue I had was the hot tub was not hot enough, which is hardly a big deal so I would consider coming back and would recommend.

The hotel surpassed my expectations. It offered dinner snacks and drinks with a voucher. My room was on third floor, very clean. Smelled really good. Location is perfect if you are attending a concert at the Coliseum. Its about 6 minute drive. My only observation and area I recommend to improve is the quality of the water in the pool and hot tub. The smell of Chlorine is very strong and the water was on the dirty mirky side. Other than that the hotel needs to make sure to let the guest know that they have to make sure their children are not running around the pool area and eating inside the hot tub. I needed some down time and couldn't enjoy the hot tub due to this. Other than this I recommend the hotel. The staff is very polite and welcoming. Thank you.

We had an amazing breakfast and the staff was so nice. Nicole especially was super sweet when we checked in. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfy. We will stay here again when we are in Greensboro.

This was our first time staying at a Drury property. The facility itself was great but I’m writing this review because it was so much more than just a nice hotel with great amenities. The staff at this hotel were incredibly kind, gracious, and truly amazing!!! Ive never experienced such down to earth sweet staff from check in to check out. They were phenomenal in every sense of the word. I would stay in a cardboard box if these people were doing the check in process. I highly recommend them!!!

Booked the room for 2 nights only stayed in the room log enough to use the pool, did not use the room or stay not one single night in the hotel. Outdated, not what I expected on the website. Staff wasn’t very friendly.

The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly. Upon check in they let us know that they serve breakfast from 6:30-10, and have a happy hour with popcorn and drinks from 5-6 and serve a free meal from 5:30-7. Each guest gets two free alcoholic beverages per night, there are soda machine and free coffee. This was a really pleasant experience with clean rooms and daily housekeeping which is practically unheard of since Covid. I highly recommend a stay here. If you are traveling with a family, the free dinner alone can save you $100 a night.

Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. The property was clean. Parking was a little limited from construction vehicles. We travel to Greensboro often, I think we found our new place to stay.

Everything was amazing from the staff upon check-in, rooms, and amenities. This place is definitely a gem. They have a nice size pool, gym, free breakfast, and free dinner option to include alcholic beverages. Next time im in the area, this is the place ill continue to stay at!

I really enjoyed the weekend I stayed at Drury Inn & Suites in Greensboro, NC. The hot, daily breakfast was very good. I was also pleasantly surprised that nightly popcorn, sodas, and dinner were also provided. I would have no hesitation in staying at this or another Drury location again.

Hot tub did not work. We took the steps mostly due to elevator operating slow.

Great place to stay for our weekend getaway..the happy hour food and drinks that are FREE were wonderful!! Great location!! We were in town for a Gargoyle Hockey game and it was the PERFECT location!! Room was super clean and HUGE! We stayed in a King suite and it was great! Will definitely stay again!!

Room was huge, afternoon snacks and breakfast were great, quiet at night and front desk staff/dining area staff were amazing - seriously some of the friendliest we have ever met!

I asked the nice young lady at check-in what was needed to stay later. She informed me that so long as I left by 12pm I would be okay. Around 1120 I was gathering my things when a loud aggressive knock at the door startled me. I asked in advance, since I knew I would be getting in late from a concert. Communication between shifts could have kept from ruining my experience. Also, the room was clean yet the carpet smelled bad. I doused it with Lysol to make it bearable.

Front desk staff was wonderful. The pool divider is starting to come apart and the black pieces are floating in the pool. The waffle mix was out at breakfast and took forever to get any. Toilet got clogged and by the time it was fixed it was time for us to go home.

A nice, comfortable hotel with polite, welcoming staff

The room furniture was very dirty and dusty, the bed sheets had stains all over the bed rails the carpet felt dirty and had stains and at night I could not sleep because I felt like my feet and body were itchy. I arrived late at night and couldn’t go stay at another place because I needed to get ready early so I just put up with it.

Hotel was not clean in general. Our room was decently clean. Hotel is very dated. The complimentary dinner was horrible, almost inedible. Front desk clerk also sets up meals and we had to wait 10 minutes both at check in and check out for her to arrive at the desk. The location is very sketchy. We would not stay there again. We have had good experiences at other Drury hotels but this was not good at all.

The pet policy was very vague. I was charged for two dogs, which is fine if that is truly how the policy works, but I was told the agent would check with her manager to confirm. When I checked out, she said she would call me back because she hadn’t received his response yet. I understand delays happen, but there was no follow-up or urgency to provide the correct information, which is concerning given that it directly affects what I was charged.

Staff was friendly. There were fingerprints and smudges all over. You could tell attention to the details just wasn’t there. We’d try it again. Maybe it was just an off day.

The room itself was pretty good, clean and spacious. No issues with the room. Just the place itself was a little seedy and the outside had a security guard hanging around which tells me its not a safe area. The main area of the lobby was not that nice and a little shady. Not sure I would stay here again.

The rooms were nice and clean, excellent amenities but what stood out most of was the staff. We had a plumbing issues at one something in the morning. I called the front desk and explained the situation. The young lady advised to come to the front desk. She switched our room quickly apologized for the inconvenience. Then whikw we were checking out I explained the situation to Ms. Morrissia and showed the pictures. She apologized for the issued and refunded for the stay. She didn't have to do that but because she did we would definitely come back.

Drury Inn on Gate City Blvd did NOT disappoint!! From the moment we arrived Morissa at the front was VERY pleasant and SUPER friendly. Not to mention Tyrone coming in with an assist at the front desk. The staff from check-in to check-out were amazing! Not to mention the rooms were accommodating and comfortable. Shout out to FRANK the breakfast cook! Our overall stay was a 10/10 and we definitely will do it again!

Started out well. Got upgraded to a suite. Suite was a good size but we were met with a strong old cigarette smoke smell. Room needs renovation to keep up with rival chains. Staff was very good. Would try again

The carpets were disgusting throughout the property. Hallways areas that had tile very dirty. I had to take the sheets from the pull out couch and lay them on the floor in my room because it was so dirty and disgusting. I was afraid to walk barefoot or look at it. One huge stain looked like dry blood. The tile areas in the bathroom, sink, toilet, and bathtub were clean.

I arrived to the hotel early and they allowed me to check in early—PURE AWESOMENESS!!! This was extremely helpful for me since I was in town just for one day to attend a funeral, and I was going to checkout at 5:00am the next day. This was EXTREMELY helpful to allow me to change into my suit and head straight to the funeral. Couldn’t plan my day any better, considering all that I’ve been going through. I won’t forget this!

My stay was great. However, I stayed in the room for three nights without requiring cleaning....... the fourth night I left my room with no "busy" sign but no one cleaned it. I still slept ok. I also think some noise sneaked through the door of my room!

They made my stay awesome. Breakfast and dinner and a bar all located in the lobby area. A Greensboro NC Mall and the convention center across the street💓😰. Also located behind a strip mall with a Wingstop, pizza, and more better than that a Popeyes!!

We stayed here back in 21 and 22 so we decided to stay here again. Completely different experience. Our room was worn out and dirty. The pool area was not clean and tired. We can live with all of that but the amount of homeless walking around the hotel area was concerning.

The appearance on the exterior of the hotel is nice. The room had bed bugs. Requested a refund for our room and was told I would need to request through Expedia. I cannot find customer service to make this request. Not pleased.

Property is a bit older but was clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Evening snacks and breakfast make it well worth the price (although physical layout of the dining area could be improved to help with traffic flow). Only real drawback was street noise around the hotel (sounded like drag racing). This was our first stay so not sure if this is a regular issue.

Dirty and needs updating

We brought our dog with us and paid $50.00 per night, for 3 nights. For that expense the floors/carpet should have been cleaned before we moved in. My husband felt that the carpet was filthy.

Every one of the staff members we engage with were absolutely wonderful! Having worked in the hotel industry I was in complete shock every single staff member we would pass in the hallway had a smile on their face and was always very pleasant.

The pool looked much larger in the pictures than it was. We happened to be there on a weekend that there is worldwide ninja completion and there were kids everywhere and the pool very crowded. Other than that everything was great.

I used to stay at Drury Inn often 20 years ago. I always remember the service and facilities to be clean and well maintained. This hotel looked like it was last renovated 20 years ago, it was pretty disgusting. Old stained carpets, AC unit that keeps shutting off, sticky floors, and a pool that resembled a septic tank. I had to keep getting up during the night to turn the very loud AC unit back on. The noise from is coupled with the lumpy, saggy matress, made my one night there a nightmare. The sink was clogged so it was barely usable and all foon served was inedible. I recommend you find somwhere else to stay.

Breakfast and dinner served. Only negative, there was no seating outside at the front entrance.

I really enjoyed stay in this hotel because the employees were very nice and friendly!! The room was spacious and clean!! Loved the free breakfast and snack/dinner available!! The only 2 complaints I have 1)the toilet didn’t flush well… had to hold down the lever for like a min for it to actually flush, which was annoying, but we dealt with it. 2) the jacuzzi at first was burning but the next day was warm enough just the jets kept stopping which didn’t make it enjoyable… could be cleaner!! Other than this had a good stay!! Kids loved the inside and outside pool!!!

Best hotel we’ve ever stayed at! Free dinner, breakfast, and drinks! Pool was clean. Nice facilities. Will absolutely stay again.

We had to ask them to take out our trash, bring towels and change our sheets.

Drury inn was great it have breakfast and dinner buffet don’t know anyone that does that now a days it could use a little updating but I would stay again when in the area

I I’m always completely impressed with DRURY. The food is incredible. The service is wonderful. Everything about it is just great rooms are very quiet too. I always noticed that other hotels seems like you can hear everything in the hallway not at this one.

Great location. New safety features in place from when I stayed several years ago. Interior door to lobby is now locked and you pick up the phone to request to enter for check in. After that your key card will open the doors.

Overall appearance, amenities were great! Beds were very comfortable. Location is close to everything we wanted to do, mall, 🎬 theater, restaurants. Our stay was very nice. I will be staying here again

Relaxing weekend however the pool went out of service. I was not happy about that so I did not get to go swimming like I wanted to otherwise I could’ve ran in any room or motel.

The room was okay, around the property was not the nicest and there was no real green space to take our dog out.

I reported to the front desk that the curtains are hard to open in room 313 and the inside curtains were torn. Staff was very nice and food was good. Location of hotel was not very good. Felt unsafe at night outside and people trying to get in the pool that were outsiders during the daytime. Wish property was closer to Bryan Park Soccer Complex.

We stay at this location often for the vary reason the staff, especially front desk are amazing. Ran into a situation needing to check in early and she accommodated us and it really saved us on this trip!! This particular location in Greensboro has always been this way….would recommend to everyone!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. All the staff we encountered were friendly, smiling and helpful. We would absolutely stay there again. Great experience.

The staff was amazing! Best customer service. The only issue we had was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom due to maintenance in a room upstairs and the AC not working in the main bedroom.

I felt like it was an old hotel and they just renamed it Drury. The pool and spa were cloudy. Room was small.

How beautiful and clean the room was. The food was excellent and the staff was so attendance to ask when we were eating, was there anything that they can get for us. I was so expressed how the staff was going to ask all the guest what could they get for them. I love that. I will be staying again

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and extremely comfortable! The service was very pleasant and I enjoyed the fellowship with the staff and other guests during breakfast. It definitely is a hotel that I will return to again.
