Wyndham Garden Greensboro

The breakfast was limited, no ice machine worked in the entire hotel, when I checked in I thought the third floor was being fumigated due to the way the cleaning staff had things thrown throughout the hallway. The front desk was absolutely only about looking at their phones rather than tending to their customers. Will not be staying here again.

I am guessing they did some remodeling at some point. The work that was done not of the best quality. The pipes coming in from the wall in the bathroom were not closed/finished they were just stuffed with insulation. Bathroom floor is nice but again was not finished is very well. Gaps around the edges look like there may be some mold. Shears that hung in the window had a 3 foot long tear down them. Looks like someone had tried to pull them closed grabbing them instead of using the rod and put their hand through it. Every time you turn the TV on the volume was full blast despite what you turned it down to when you turn the TV off. I also think there should be a garbage can in the bathroom (better for ladies) not just one in the room. Elevators were hot and again the floor in the elevator had been updated but work around the edges was uneven and exposed the old floor.

Would recommend to clean the rooms the carpets looked very dirty and possibly a bit more lighting into the rooms felt super dark and giving control back to the client for the ac unit I couldn’t sleep in the heat it was rough

The rest of the hotel was similar: The breakfast fruit was starting to spoil. One of the entrances to the inner courtyard (where the pool is) was filthy. At least the pool was nice and clean. The price of the hotel was reasonable, but the level of upkeep is lacking. At minimum, it needs a thorough clean and maintenance. In reality, it could use a remodel.

It was a safe place and good location. Couldn't regulate temp in room. Mold in bathroom. Front desk staff not the friendliest. Not the worse but definitely not the best.

Air Conditioners smelled like cigarette smoke, tub doesn’t stop up shower head was leaking, beds don’t have good comforters, no plastic utensils, the oldest elevator in the world I thought it was going to break down and fall, front desk lady in the morning is very judge mental of certain people iykyk

The room was clean and the air very comfortable for sleeping. Staff kept the food at breakfast hot and available. And even with a large wedding in house, staff made sure to address our needs as well.

The location was great, check-in was smooth. The breakfast was pretty good & I like the breakfast area. They might want to consider removing the carpet throughout the entire hotel. It didn't feel clean especially in the room & carries a odd smell in my opinion. Maybe updates to bathroom & dressers.

Decent hotel clean rooms, overall facility was outdated like water stain in hallway ceilings but room was clean and comfortable enough..for Greensboro NC area likely one of the better hotels.

Breakfast was ok. Hotel looks outdated. Dog show going on so dogs everywhere. Dogs outside barking at 6:30am waking us up. After checking in went to our room & someone else was already in there. Dog came running at me.

It was a pretty good location. The room was not clean and the bathroom was disgusting.The breakfast was atrocious and cold. They charged me a $100.90 more than the room fee I agreed to. They told me it would fall away, but it's still on my card.

Room was pretty clean me and my gf stayed for two days, felt pretty safe to park anywhere. Breakfast was nice, Couple shopping centers nearby and some nice places to eat.

Staff was professional property very clean

The hotel was situated in an awkward area. The tv in the room was too small for the room. There was a wedding they took place on one of the nights we stayed and they played loud music until midnight.

Beds were hard and pillows were stiff and lumpy. Surprisingly poor sleeping conditions. Older building, but they keep it fairly clean and the staff were nice.

The hotel is old and needs to be completely renovated! There's a big rotted piece of wood in the elevator floor. The air conditioner in the room was very old and some of the plastic pieces were broken across the vents. Shower was very old and outdated

Location and value It’s dated in some places but worth the money. I’m in the restaurant industry and did not eat the breakfast Buffett. They have a health rating of 86. You have to really not care OR have dated old facilities and equipment to get that score. Made me question the rest of the property cleanliness. Overall I’d stay again given price but I would shop around first.

I liked that my room did not have carpet. One elevator was out of service and the other one has ripped up floors inside. Bed was fine but the pillows were hard. Breakfast buffet was ok. I was hoping for oatmeal but there was none. Lots of free parking.

The room was a nice size and temperature setting was comfortable for a good rest. It was hectic arriving because there were so many cars and noisy people hanging in the parking lot after leaving the next door restaurant. The rooms are very old with holes in the flooring and an old smell as soon as you walk in. Noises kept coming from the bathroom and the tub/shower caulk and grout was dark and cracked in many places.

Location was decent This is what was available for High Point Market. Not as clean as I prefer. This property needs an upgrade.

The place appeared tidy. It wasn't too hot or cold. There weren't enough towels and wash cloths also no soap or toilet paper. Also the ice machine was always empty.

Things were broken in the bathroom. Took 2 1/2 hours to get towels. Only 2 in 2 queen bed room. One elevator didn't work properly. Air conditioner very noisy.

The shower pressure was good. Room was ok. A few things needed to be fixed like nightstand drawer not closing, toilet paper holder coming out of the wall. The bathroom counter was small. The area seemed safe, I was a solo female traveler and felt fine for the 4 night stay I had. It’s close to stores and the freeway, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Also the water doesn’t get that hot. It was good for a short overnight stay.

The breakfast (included) was the only downside. The hot food was not brought out in a timely manner and quickly depleted. There was no way to contact staff to let them know. everything else about the hotel is excellent! Rooms clean and include in-room safe, micro and SMALL TV (I can live with it). Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room service is not available (but it could easily be done since the bar/restaurant is attached). I recommend this place!

The staff was great. There was an issue with my room.they quickly gave me another room. Actually came with me to make sure i was satisfied. The real issue was the sanitation grade in the breakfast area..a mid B..... No breakfast for us...

The first room we were in the sink was clogged and they could not fix it so the next morning they moved us to another room. The walls and the door knobs all need to have a good cleaning they are tacky and spotted with dirt. The whole complex smells of weed. We complained several times and they put fans up on the floors to try to dispel the odor. The designatwd smoking areas are right in front of the doors so you have to walk through smoke to get into the hotel.

They turned off the water to my room in the morning without telling me. I told the front desk they didn't care.

Horrible experience absolutely disgusting room, torn chairs, falling, draperies bathroom tile off wall, dirty carpet management and staff does not care about anything nor respond to any complaints or offer any concession highly recommend stay away from this property. Don’t know how they still have a Wyndham hotel talk to management and owners about the dirty torn up room. They got no answer! worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in if I hadn’t prepaid I would’ve not have stayed there! stay away at all cost!

Property not kept up well. Housekeeping took towels, but did not leave fresh towels. When asked to get some first told they were out of towels. Some of the desk staff was rude. I observed racial- profiling for African-American people entering the breakfast room. I could go on and on.

Curtain valances are falling down. There was some weird piece of plastic laying over the surface of the bathtub. Couldn’t sit in the tub. Very comfortable beds. We appreciated ice machines on all floors.

Was suprised at the low rate I paid for this quality room. Comfortable, clean, and quiet. Would only recommend addition of a towel rack in the bathroom.

My main priority was a free breakfast and a decent price for a one night stay. The bathroom in my room was dirty. The breakfast did not include a waffle maker. The potatoes were boiled, tossed in paprika, and completely flavorless. The staff were efficient, but not friendly.

Blood on quilt, and to say that they serve breakfast is deceptive at best. Apparently, the owner Mr. Patel has informed his staff to tell guest that they did not receive a delivery when reality there was never in the intention to have breakfast for guest.

Room is clean but small and looks old. Hampton inn 2.5* much better and more comfortable

It was fun. It was quiet. It was peaceful. The staff were friendly and it is very convenient for me to come and stay there between Greensboro Martinsville and Gastonia, where I have to go.

The breakfast bar could have had some onions and chili peppers for the Latinos and Indians staying there. They like spices

The hotel staff was very nice, and the room seemed clean, but it was very old, dated and basic. The bed was uncomfortable and had four small pillows. The room was very expensive because our stay was during the High Point market, which is par for the course, but it was disheartening to spend so much for such mediocre accommodations. The elevators were old and a nightmare. Not sure the inspections were up to date.

My husband and I had a decent stay. My daughter and son-in-law were near people who were constantly coming and going, and they could hear every door slam. Not that it was intentionally slammed, but the doors close loudly unless you work to close it slowly on your own. In our room, when you turn on the TV, the volume is always up around level 35, which about blew out our ears. Glad there was no one next to us for us to disturb when it was turned on. We did stay the night before trash pickup, so we were awakened by the dumpster being emptied around 5 am.

maintenance/housekeeping poor: sink faucet sprayed water everywhere, black mold on ceiling, 1 small soap only, carpet stained, no hand towels, hard to control heat, closet door broken, luggage rack collapsed, first aid kit at front desk had no bandages for a cut. Facility: restaurant had emphasis on security instead of service on Fri. evening - bouncers made it seem unsafe & unfriendly. Unfriendly signs in hotel prohibiting taking coffee or food back to the room. had to go outside to get to breakfast buffet. loud, drunk people in hallway

This hotel needs a total update. Even the sheets and towels are worn out. I’m worried that they may have bed bugs.

We enjoyed our stay it was nice, clean and safe. I was disappointed that there was no laundry amenities to wash my clothes.

Did report on Sunday 21st that room safety box was inoperable to which the response was that no maintenance was available on the weekend but would send someone to remedy the problem the next day, but nothing was done. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay there.

The outside is not as beautiful as the lobby and halls. The bathroom inside in the room felt like a hole. I could see the vision but the execution needs to be worked on. Will not be going back until I know another Reno had happened

I had stayed here previously, about eight months prior to this visit and a few other times before that. The property in general took a nosedive. They charge a $100 incidental fee without any mention of it. While checking in I asked the employee if we could park in the back to reach the room (on the second floor) faster and he said yes. So we parked in the back and unloaded to come inside only to find the elevator completely ripped apart and being worked on (at midnight) and it was an absolute mess. Rather than walking back to the front to use the elevator we went up the stairs instead and it wreaked of urine. The parking lot was absolutely trashed and there were multiple cars parked and running with loud music playing for very long periods of time. Bottom line, the high incidental rate and state of the staff and property make it pretty clear that this hotel is a hub for criminal activity. Would not recommend this unless you are into drugs and/or prostitution.

Hotel was okay. As far as service when it came to towels, washcloths was not good. Asked receptionist for towels and wash clothes, because they only gave us two wash clothes and two towels, when it’s was four guest all together. Receptionist stated that we had to wait till 9 AM for housekeeping. When housekeeping arrived at 9 AM we still did not get wash clothes or towels. Housekeeping stated that they did not have any more washcloths. I had to go out and purchase them.

We asked for towels at 8:15 am on Saturday 8/16 morning. We were told the laundry facilities did not open until 9:00 am which was fine. When my wife went to get the towels she was told they were in the dryer. This was an inconvenience since we had to move our daughter into her dorm. I didn’t find the latter out until 10:00 pm that night. I went to the front desk and ask for the manager’s name and the attendant refused. I asked the attendant for his name and he refused. Reporting them to the Wyndham corporate office.

This was the worse experience ever. We were not able to use the pool because of a private party they had a dj and the music was so loud we couldn’t sleep or do work. The front desk were no help and I couldn’t get a manager. A dog pooped in the hallway and it was never cleaned up somebody stepped i. It and tracked it down the hallway. They had a lot of junkies and prostitution in the back parking lot. I have asked the hotel for a full refund and am waiting for management to contact me. I love to use your services when I’m on vacation but you need to vet the properties better. The carpet was also filthy and nasty

My first room had ants, the second room's chair was so dirty. I was afraid to sit my things in it. The toilet made a noise when you flushed it... until the water tank fulled. we also had issue with the TV... no one came to check on it.

The hallways had carpet that had a terrible odor, and the room was very dirty. The wall by the bed was filled with thick dust, the carpet on the floor was smelly and dirty and the bathroom had stains on the toilet and was dirty and smelly.

It definitely was a jet 2 holiday. The front desk area will trick you into thinking the place is nice. You get to the rooms and you feel like you are with the street walkers. I had a bullet hole in my window. When I first arrived someone one left dishes on the wall outside my room so I thought in the morning the staff will clean in it. House keeping was there the next morning cleaning rooms but left the dishes there. I complained to the front desk and they said it will be moved. The next morning as I went to check out it still was there with food and all. I made sure I shook all my belongings out. It was the worse

Do not Book here! There is a ratchet club attached to the hotel. They list a restaurant on premises…it is the Club, expect a stomach ache. My room was right by an elevator room. The ENTIRE night sounded like someone drilling. It was also be a door, constant in & out. Another door, anyone can just walk in, not secure. I returned the next eve to Room Service had obviously entered the room as the lotions & towels replaced, but my bed was not made or place cleaned…sketchy to say the least. Will NEVER stay here again!

The front lobby was clean and staff was pleasant. However, there is mold growth (or what appears to be) on the bathroom ceiling. The breakfast attendant was not friendly, at all and the food was cold.

I gave it an okay rating because as I was there for business, the WIFI did not work hardly at all in my room. Very important element that is necessary for travelers on business. All the other details were fine. Maybe give your WI-FI a good renewing/fixing and it would get a better rating.

Hotel had a light musty odor and a pool party going on with the music so loud that we could not rest in our room until it was over.

Disappointed with the property. The lobby was the only area that looked like the pictures on the website. The rest did not reflect what it looked like. The entrance and hallway to our room smelled of marijuana. A questionable person was sitting under a tree in the back parking lot. A car was on blocks being worked on, right outside our window. The room itself was clean and comfortable.

Rooms were loud with party going on next to us, the restaurant is an overcrowded bar with a $10 per person cover and very rude armed security. The beds were also uncomfortable. But the room was reasonably clean, all amenities listed were present and the desk guy was super nice.

We saw exterior safety doors propped opened. Instead of leaving these doors propped opened, hotel managers could have card readers installed on them. This hotel is ok for one night but not for an extended stay. I would not rate this hotel as a 3 star, maybe a 2.5 star.

This property was once a beautiful establishment. It is in need of renovations. The bathroom has mold and paint falling off the walls. The carpet was old and smelly.

The property worked fine for our stay. The staff was friendly. We didn’t realize the restaurant attached is like a bar/club spot on the weekends and was packed out with hardly any parking on Saturday night.

There was loud music coming from the attached Ale House until very late at night. The gentleman at the desk barely said a word to me when I checked in. He did not inform where my room was or where the elevator was.

The bar downstairs is packed on the weekends if you want a night scene. Good food for good price and pool. Would recommend

The pool was amazing! The property was nice. There is a nightclub in the restaurant inside the hotel, but we could not hear it from our room.

Hotel lobby & 1st floor very nice. Upper floors not so much. A/c unit in rm 431 did not function well. Cracks in walls apparent, broken parts visible on a/c, bedside table drawer did not close, door for fridge hanging precariously. Stain on duvet, no stopper in tub, had to go get washcloths.

It was not as pleasant as we expected. The tub drainage was chipping at the bottom of the shower, one of the lightbulbs were blown out, and electrical wires were hanging out of a socket. I went downstairs to make a complaint, but my complaint was never put in. I called again at 11 PM. No help available. I will not be staying at this hotel again. Asked for a manager, but was told no one was available until the next business day.

Be aware that this property is connected to a bar which stays lively until around 2 am. We were unfortunately situated on the backside by the dumpsters and listened to blaring music and racing motorcycles well into the middle of the night. I did not feel safe at this property. Some rooms had been redone, ours had not. I am not sure if they reserve the worst rooms for Expedia customers but our had a large crack in the wall and the chair was extremely dirty and looked like it was attacked by a wildcat. For what you pay, this property is lacking.

The air conditioner was out and they had it serviced and it still didn’t work and they wouldn’t change my room saying it was booked. Then suddenly at 5 am they said they had a room. It was too late to fix and wouldn’t honor a refund. Never again. They gave points but that was not the equivalent of the 2 suites I purchase

Needed lots of updates- pictures on web site did not look like room. Cockroach as big as credit card

The only bad thing was some bass-bumping music for a few hours in the early AM. The room was clean and The breakfast was excellent.

Very peaceful and quiet I got there a bit late at night and was still greeted and helped

The rooms need to be updated and cleaned properly. Overall, the breakfast was good.

We did not even get out of car to check in. When we drove up parking lot was filled with folks drinking and partying. Looked like spilling out from bar next door. Did not feel safe so we just left and found a hotel in safer feeling neighborhood

Our experience here was amazing. The property in beautiful when you walk in. It smelled amazing. The rooms were nice. Beds were comfortable. This will be our hotel of choice when in Greensboro moving forward.

The location was good, clean inside but the comfort of the beds and pillows was not the best. It was ok.for a one night stay.

Check in was easy since I had prepaid. The property used to be a Holiday Inn. Right now it is in need of more upgrading. They have done some buy its dated. Mu wife did not feel comfortable due to the amount of traffic generated by the bar next to the property. Over flow parking is dark. Breakfast is great and the property is convenient to food and entertainment. Again this is not the Wyndham level that I am used to. Pool area is under construction and painting and new linoleum are not renovations, curtains were terribly old and mske the property look worse than it is. Staff was friendly. I picked this property for family thinking it was in the location we chose previously, not the same.
