Hampton Inn Greenville/I-385 Haywood Mall

It was an Intertstate/Cross country stop so just perfect for this. The hotel was new/mid refurb. Our floor had completed room and some uncompleted so still some contractor elements but still clean and not a nuisance. The staff were all great and we did have an issue. As we were likely the first to use our room since the rooms refurb and it was around 11pm when we realised the toilet doesn't refill after being flushed(turns out it takes around 4 hours to refill). Hard for a single staff member to help for obvious reasons. Our room was adjoining to another, quick solution was to open both rooms together so we could use the toilet without moving the room we'd already decamped into around 3 hours at that stage. It was a problem but also I was quite content with the solution, win win for everyone. The manager at breakfast telling staff members how she'd like the entire breakfast area re-arranged and talking about messages she'd sent people and who did and didn't reply. Easily could have waited until after breakfast or had in private.

Nice property close to downtown but not in downtown. Stayed for March Madness and it met our needs. A little hiccup on check in as no rooms were ready/available. But, the coffee was good, beds were comfy, breakfast was great

Toilet was clogged upon arrival and we were provided a plunger which still did not fix the problem. This Should have been a quality checklist item before we were assigned the room.

Stayed here for one night with a friend for a quick weekend in Greenville and this hotel was perfect. Near a good mall and close enough to downtown where it wasn’t a huge deal to drive, but it was far enough where you aren’t paying crazy prices.

Everything in the hotel was great. The reservation was totally mixed up between Hotels.com and Hilton. I haven't reconnected with hotels. com yet.

Good overall

My husband and I traveled with our dog. We stayed in a pet friendly room. There was no “dog smell” to the room at all, ZERO! No dog smell in the hallway either. A perfect place to stay.

The lobby, elevators and hallways were very warm, almost hot. Midnight staff parks right in the unloading area and seems to crowd that space.

Wonderful hotel. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, and roomy bathroom. Staff was polite, and helpful. Very quiet. Plenty of parking, and lots of food options down the street.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were awesome. Request an even number room, because the odd numbered rooms face an interstate. This made for a noisy evening.

This was an outstanding stay here in SC! My husband and I hated to leave! The staff was friendly and the room was great! Really enjoyed the layout of the rooms, the view, and the quietness. I hands down recommend anyone stay here when visiting. Thanks Hampton Inn Greenville!

Property has been nicely remodeled and is conveniently located off I385. Staff are very helpful and friendly, breakfast attendant was especially sweet and helpful. Only negatives are: shower curtain (inside) was dirty, floor was very dirty in breakfast area, tables in food area need to be fully cleaned top to bottom, and water in shower never got hot.

Lots of issues here. Very loud. Bathroom was disgusting unfortunately. I checked in after my flight was delayed and thankfully checked out very quickly the next morning. Would avoid this hotel if you can.

It was a convient location to where we wanted to stay. The staff was amazing! The breakfast lady alone was so sweet and just the nicest person. The only thing i didnt like was how small the parking lot is.

Check in was good there was a nice lady in the reception at night but morning time they doesn't had good service and the room was uncomfortable specially the beds the room had bad smells I couldn't sleep all the nigh, Please don't stay here.

After getting into the Room, TV remote not working. Was a pretty sunny and warm day, so tried to come down to the pool with kids (pool closed). Asked the same receptionist why was the pool closed and she said it opens on may and sarcastically said…you just missed that

Room was clean and staff very helpful. Clientele was not travelers like in past but appeared to be construction workers. Felt safe and area was nicely maintained. Some furniture in dining area needed replacing. Food area was excellent and kept food hot and available at all times.

Your hotel and staff are amazing. It was a little confusing to find the correct drive to enter the property. Otherwise very pleased with our stay.

Our door didn't open or close easily. Took a lot of effort. Furniture was old, dirty and second rate. Carpet was shabby and patchworked together. Mattress was old and soft. An old and dilapidated hotel that needs significant upgrading and remodeling. Not up to the standard I expect out of a Hampton Inn. Staff were fine, it was the over facility that was old and in need of an upgrade. Won't stay at this hotel again.

It was newly renovated on the 5 th floor and was comfortable, clean and the shower was great (did not run out of hot water and had great water pressure. The bathroom amenities smelled good and the shampoo did well for my hair. The complimentary breakfast was great.

All front desk staff were excellent! The room is a little tired but renovations are underway. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, coffee was passable. Really should be using Warpath Coffee for a delicious cup of coffee. It looked like employees were all striving for excellence! Bravo! Absolutely would stay there again.

Room was clean but the pillows were horrible. Best to bring your own. I have stayed at multiple Hamptons and they are all the same. Breakfast was good but could use a few more options.

We were in town to see Monster Jam and it was a very nice hotel. The gym area had a good selection and my son's favorite part was the continental breakfast. The all day coffee bar was really great!

Property was clean and convenient to shopping. Breakfast could have been better but wasn’t terrible. The lady re stocking the food was great and front desk was very helpful. Overall great stay.

I left my speaker in the room and called about 4 hours and they said they had it. 7 hours after I left my friend went by to pick it up and it “disappeared”.

Check-in was very frustrating. We had just been through a crisis situation And couldn’t arrive until after 3 AM. The receptionist was doing the “audit” and so couldn’t check us in. We had already paid in advance online, she needed to swipe our credit card and couldn’t do it because the computer was occupied. She did not seem to be able to accommodate us just needing to get into our beds. Also, the toilet was Running and not flushing right. We fixed it ourselves. And the cleaning people came in at about 9:30 AM instead of just waiting until we checked out at 11. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

It would have been nice if she could have taken the time to let us know this as we were checking in. Going up to the room and then having to come back down seemed unfair and it would have taken her 5 minutes to explain the situation to us. Instead we stood there looking foolish asking about the room we booked and being told there was nothing that could be done. Other than that. The hotel was very nice and closely located to where we needed to go for that weekend.

I think it’s time for Hampton Inn to update their properties! My last few stays at Hampton have been very disappointing! The room felt dusty/musty and needs some brightening.

My sister said the food service ladies were super friendly. And my niece said the body wash was the best she ever used. They stayed four days and were very happy!

Great location with friendly staff. Everything was pretty clean but the carpet in our room was terrible. It was badly stained and in horrible condition. I was afraid to step on it with my bare feet so we wore flip flops. The mattresses also could be replaced. The rest of the hotel was fine.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Greenville Hampton inn & suite. The breakfast was decent but what really put our breakfast experience over the top was the lovely lady that was maintaining the breakfast buffet and the tables. She was going above and beyond to make sure everyone was taking care of and she had such a glowing personality. Truly the best part of our stay there. My grandson doesn't like to talk to a lot of people and he was all excited to talk to this woman. Really enjoyed the time there and everything was great.

Nice hotel close to the expressway. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by. The hotel is clean and update with friendly and helpful staff. They have a pool, but it is not heated, so it was hard to really enjoy and I could only get in so far and for a short time. The place overall is nice and I would stay here again.

This property is dated. Needs upgrade. Breakfast was basic microwave stuff and was not supplied well. Took three tries to find a suitable room. I gave up looking.

It was my daughter's birthday weekend and she wanted to spend it with her cousins in Greenville, SC. I was able to see my mother one last time. The beds were nice and soft. The breakfast was great.

Location was good as it was right off the interstate and that made it easy for our morning departure.

Food was so so and ran out at 9am in morning on Sat. Shower heads had to be worked on to get a spray of water to stand under in bath. Dank smell in room. Sheets had stains. Parking good. Location convenient. Wasn't noisy.Frig did not work so couldn't use the drinks we brought.

We had a nice stay at Hampton Inn in Greenville. It was good for price, nothing exceptional but not horrible either. Carpet in rooms should go, I just think that makes the area feel unclean. Beds were fairly comfortable, and breakfast was a nice perk. Oh we did book this with the impression there was indoor pool for kids..... website states indoor pool with pictures but there is NOT one. That was a major disappointment for kids, please update info!

Nice hotel, nice staff and good location. But the very loud noise from the AC/heat unit in the room made it difficult to sleep.

Stay was super friendly from the front desk to the service man. Older woman in the breakfast room was great and entertaining. Some of the equipment needed to be replaced as it was not working.

The staff was very rude- there was an issue with expedia and my reservation where I reserved another night but they only had me in for 1 night and instead of being understanding and trying to help me figure it out, they basically kicked me out of the hotel. I will not go there again

Large comfortable and well-appointed room. Welcoming staff at front desk. Very good breakfast. The server should be working at a pricey restaurant. Friendly and attentive. Very convenient location. Only downside is road noise.

I couldn’t give 5 stars on the property, however, because the shower was a walk in and we couldn’t use it without flooding the floor in the bathroom. Other than that this was the place. Definitely will stay here again.

Was there for a religious conference. Had to leave early due to family occurrence. Room was beautiful and clean. Noise level minimal breakfast was delicious. Staff were courteous and helped adjusted reservations to accommodate my early departure, I will stay here again great location from GcC and downtown.

Hotel is next to a major highway (385) which makes it a little noisy. Not sure what can be done to quiet it down inside the hotel?
