That they where dog friendly That they hire people who aren’t even dog friendly, this guys demeanor from the moment he walked up to us was already real aggressive so him approaching us the way he did set out dog to bark once at him we told him it’s cause they way he approached us that set him off because he was perfectly fine with everyone else up until that guy from the casino floor approached us, but to him he was a danger to others cause he barked we wore kicked out of the casino….

This is our second time at this resort and it was another amazing visit! From the time we checked in to when we checked out, it was awesome! The two ladies who checked us in were so friendly and helpful and every time we came in, they were smiling and just so genuinely pleasant! The free Breakfast was great and the staff at the restaurant was so nice and the food was great! The fitness center was state of the art. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area.

The bathroom doors are glass, see thru and super flimsy not stable. The pools were a big reason I chose this place but the pools were extremely dirty and moldy and not at all what was advertised. I would say the mold would be a health hazard.

Pretty great place to stay. Outside looks like a motel 6 inside looks great. Huge rooms, clean, nice staff, and a nice western vibe. Overall, exceeded our expectations.

This is a small clean place with friendly staff. I have stayed here several times and it is always the same.

We arrived into town late and every place we called was sold out. We figured we would take a chance on Booking.com. Skyline came up with a room and the cost was pretty good. When we got there we questioned the location(in a more industrial area) and I the dark the outside made us wonder but we really needed to sleep. Check-in was a breeze and the clerk was helpful and friendly. Our room was large with a fire place and a 50" tv. It was very clean. I think our only complaint is the sheets were scratchy and maybe bally but the mattress was comfortable. Oh, in the morning we got a complimentary breakfast (full breakfast not a "Continental breakfast") the restaurant was clean and our server was great. To our surprise, the outside looked nicer in the daylight. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the strip when passing through. Only downfall was the scratchy, bally sheets.

The girl checking is in was rude no personality charged my card said it was declined and threw it back towards me said it didn't state why it was declined had an attitude like I didn't have the funds called my bank and the said they didn't even show a decline on my card... Oh well first and last time staying there, oh yes I used another card for deposit since I had already paid for the room when I booked on Expedia

The decor and hotel were well maintained. Staff was friendly, but always in back and I hesitated to go ask questions because I had to wait to have someone at counter. I needed to stay in a hotel to get my car worked on at VW on Auto Mall road. I selected you based on location and “quiet convenience” for a meal and a place to be for 5-8 hours while they had my car. I knew I was STUCK there. The reviews said it was clean and comfortable. (The hotel side was nice and smelled ok. Baseboards and corners of rooms always are a give away if someone is cutting corners on cleaning. Your baseboards and corners on bathroom and showers are dirty but glass and floors are clean!) I have asmatha and hated to even be in the casino or restaurant. It was so smoky, it was worse than a bar. The fact that I could not order the prime rib special and take it to my room really ticked me off. I ordered a hot turkey instead and took it to my room. THEN the breakfast voucher was a nice touch, but AGAIN, I was not allowed to take it to go to my room, I had to eat it is the “smokey shit-hole” is what I believe I called it to the morning restaurant manager. If you offer a special and then make it inconvenient- what is the point? I believe placing someone in a situation which aggravates a medical condition is not legal. You might want to run your “policies” through an attorney. I did have a hot shower and a clean bed, and a place to stay while my car was being worked on. Next time I will be doing a more thorough research on reviews. Topping it off, vending machines do not work well and are a 3rd party so they cannot/will not help if your drink gets stuck in the machine.

I love my staying

Many times we go to Las Vegas and forget there is more available to us in the surrounding cities and areas.. I like Henderson always have. Its nice to see it growing and becoming a more nicer city, but the managers of this city should remember its "people and business" who make a city not you, so choose wisely.

The parking is free and close. The free breakfast is very good. The waitresses and bussers are the best. From the front desk to the cage, this place should be proud of itself! This is the most simple hotel and casino in Las Vegas/Henderson and as far as we are concerne,. IT IS THE BEST! Oh ya, can't forget how well they've treated my dog, DUDE. He loves it too.

We literally drove in the parking lot and turned around. It looked so rundown and horrible area! We chose to lose our 400+ dollars and went and stayed at the sunset station. Very expensive mistake booking this hotel!

The room was spacious and the location was good. The beds were pretty comfy! The casino ppl are way nice! The smell in the rooms from I think the fridge, was horrible. The fridge also froze things, so it’s a freezer not a fridge. You have to ask for room service, which they don’t tell you to put a slip out, letting them know. The pool is not what it shows in the pictures. It was disgusting and it’s so small. You would probably get an infection from swimming in it.

It’s not right on the strip and everyone seems super friendly and kind here! It seems like they try and take care of it for the most part. It’s peaceful. I had hair in my shower. At first it was a few. Then on the outside there was clippings like someone cut their hair everywhere. I won’t lie it took me a minute to take shower in there. ?

This place is the best. I love its location (close to Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve). Clean accommodations, nice amenities, friendly staff. It has become my “go to” spot when I stay in Henderson

The pillows were like fluffy bricks. Too hard and overstuffed for my neck. I would not stay there again unless I brought my own pillow. I ended up using my little knee pillow for my head. Too bad because although it is older it was an okay place otgerwise. Great if you have a dog on your travels.

We were stuck in a room that was right next to the lobby so we heard every conversation of everybody coming and going, the carpet was very old and the paint was scraped off in places, the doors do not close quietly and we had to listen to other people's doors slam all night. And there was not a microwave we could use.

Ordered my food and wanted to take the rest of it in a box (again this is not a buffet, you order your meal like any other restaurant), i was told that I cannot take it either finish it or throw it in the trash :)) .. i was told that by a very rude waitress, also she made me pay for my cup of orange juice because that is not included in the hotel breakfast options :)) I stayed there because i wanted a quiet spot off the strip the night before my flight. Not a good decision, learned my lesson.

Vagrant activity in the area so keep your eyes open and park in a well-lighted area. Tiny pool and regular size hot tub. Front desk and other staff members were very nice. Got a coupon for free breakfast in the hotel restaurant that offered four choices but it was yucky. Hopefully the food ordered off the regular menu is better. Overall, it was a good stay. They welcome pets. I would stay here again.

Very poor reception. We were forced to stay in this low standard hotel. From the first day, we didn't like it and requested for a cancellation, but they refused and never make any attempt to help or make us comfortable. very bad experience. Not recommended.

We like this hotel because its 10 minutes from a family members home. The hotel decor is great with a bunch of unique antiques. The rooms are updated and clean and the bed is comfy. We were disappointed with housekeeping this visit as they didnt clean very well and kept forgetting the replace coffee and coffee cups each day. We had to go to the front desk to get them. Its an older area. Saw a stripped and abandoned car on the street a block away.

The front desk staff is not helpful at all, the restaurant knives and cups was dirty very uncomfortable eating there, the room cleaning was horrible would never return nor recommend stay far away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And managers aren't helpful at all with these!!! Run!!

CONS: We weren't there for the casino, but the hotel restaurant is located where the hotel and casino meet, and it was VERY smokey. Some is to be expected but the space could definitely use better ventilation. (It is important to note the smoke from the casino did not in any way affect the quality of our stay in our room.) NOTE TO OTHERS: The hotel, at first glance, doesn't seem to be located in the nicest of areas but at no time - night or day - did we feel unsafe walking to/from our vehicle or to walk our dog.

Mediocre at best. Hot tub was filthy, no microwave, no coffee in lobby and check in was like talking to my teenage son. Rooms are old with an updated bathroom. No place to sit outside. German shepherd and another big dog allow in a small indoor restaurant. They were not identified as service dogs.Location was a little shady…I would never stay here again.

The price was right, and the location was convenient for our group—close to where we needed to be. The area felt a bit sketchy at night, and while some of the staff were friendly, others seemed bothered by guests. Overall, it served its purpose and was reasonably priced.

I have to put my medications in the fridge when traveling. I was shocked in the morning when I found that my meds were frozen! It ended up costing me $175 to replace and about two hours wasted at the pharmacy. Used to enjoy staying here, but now I’m so upset I’m never going back.

The check-in was very smooth and there were no problems, but since it was my first stay, I would have appreciated a bit more explanation. Because I was staying alone with a small dog, I wasn’t sure whether I could leave the dog in the room when using the breakfast voucher, or if I was allowed to bring the dog to the restaurant. I’m very grateful that the hotel is dog-friendly, but it’s disappointing that staying alone with a dog can put me at a disadvantage.

This is an older hotel. So not the cleanest or newest. The pool was dirty. The TV stopped working the 2nd to last day of my stay. However, it was quiet, the staff is very polite and will get you anything you need. The free breakfast is what sold me. Delicious, full portion individual breakfast with wonderful wait staff! l'd come again and again just for them! There's free parking. The area seemed safe. There's lots of shops and food choices around and its about a 20 minute ride to the main Las Vegas Strip. They also have a fully functioning attached casino, if you like to gamble. Great place to stay if you're on a budget.

We left Las Vegas 28 years ago. Before we left The Skyline was where we took all of our out of state guests for breakfast or dinner. I recently lost my Grandmother and skyline had been her favorite place. It was absolutely beautiful to see some place in Las Vegas that had remained relatively similar. We absolutely enjoyed our time there. The staff was absolutely amazing all over the property.

I really like this property for a number of reasons..clean, great antiques in lobby-nice decor.. Rooms are big and recently remodeled, beds are comfy and soft, no resort or parking fee. Easy to to get anywhere-no hassling with strip traffic. Onsite restaurant, and you get free breakfast with your stay. Only drawback, is construction on boulder highway directly in front of hotel, and not much to look at in surrounding area..but i felt my car was safe parked outside. I always try to stay here when coming to Vegas..great little place!!

Has a great dining facility on site and a real breakfast is complimentary. Highly recommend a stay here and avoid much higher priced hotel/casinos in Las Vegas which is only about 10 miles away.

The window AC generates too much noise and never be ended of running all night. The hotel restaurant next to casino, smoking smell fills in the whole restaurant. The parking lot has big capacity to park vehicle.

Booked this hotel since listing mentioned as breakfast included. Though we booked mentioning 3 guests, when we checked in we were told breakfast is for only 2, they changed their policy after we booked sometime and never informed us. Front desk person was not helpful at all. Not welcoming either. Our room had stained carpet. Not recommended.

I did not have high expectations after reading alot of the reviews, because when you are coming into the property, especially at night you begin to wonder if this was the best choice for the price. However I was pleasantly surprised on the clean Hotel and rooms. The staff was always very pleasant and I stayed 3 nights. The attached Casino has definitely seen better days, but the Restaurant made it worth visiting, especially the sweet waitresses at night and the morning. I do want to especially single out the very sweet older waitress in the early morning shift who was so nice and is the reason that I would use the Hotel again, She deserves a raise and I was not the only one noticing, she was awesome.

The Hotel is absolutely beautiful. We love the Cafe and just the local feel of the place.

Though this is more in the restaurant and casino area. So don't wear clothes you don't want to stink into the restaurant. The hotel room didn't smell like smoke but occasionally the hallways did. Hotel room was very clean and nice. However the "free breakfast" was a bit of a lie. It was a coupon to their restaurant but only for two people. We were traveling with our kids. Drinks were only free if it was "coffee, tea, or soda." So we ended up having to pay a lot more for breakfast than we would at a hotel with a true free breakfast. Albeit the food was good. Swimming pool is tiny and fairly clean. Hot tub was disgustingly dirty.

We stayed here for a week while visiting our son and his wife. Lovely little hotel nicely decorated. The lobby has nostalgic antiques and is very welcoming. Wide hallways with benches. The room was nicely done and spacious with a large clean updated bathroom and a seperate vanity where spouses can get ready while the bath is occupied. It has a refrigerator and coffee machine which is convenient. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a little hard for me. They offer a free breakfast which was very good with a nice variety with different egg and waffle options, but no fruit. Great hotel for the price! We'll definitely be back!

The only problem I have is the free breakfast is only for 2 people no mattyer how many people you book in the room. So, if you have 4 for example you would pay for 2 of the breakfast. They dont tell you that until you get there. This is our second time staying here and has been very nice.

We arrived after a long day of travel only to find that “free breakfast” noted on Expedia was only available for two people per room, not our whole family. (We did not have an ‘oversized’ party… three people in one room and four people in the other, all registered in our Expedia reservation. However, the front desk staff was dismissive and tried to argue that the manager had the Expedia site changed. When I shown her that the Expedia website noted “breakfast included” without any qualification or limitation, the staff said that they didn’t control Expedia and told us that we should feel very fortunate to get any breakfast at all since “most hotels don’t offer breakfast coupons.” In my travel experience and in my use of Expedia, I know that some hotels do and some do not. But I have never encountered a hotel that has Expedia note ‘free breakfast’ and 'breakfast included' that did not offer it to everyone in the room. At the end of the day, all I was really looking for was for the woman at the front desk to say, "You know, I see what you're saying. When I look at Expedia with you, I can certainly how you would have thought that. It is a little misleading. But, I'm really sorry--it is our policy and there really isn't anything that I'm authorized to do." Instead, I got, "You should feel lucky to get what you get." Oh, and the television was broken, with everything having a blue haze.

Great place, old fashion Las Vegas but everything was in top condition. Staff was very nice, I will definitely come back.

Everything is still new, everything is very clean. Antiques and decorative objects adorn the halls, park benches are throughout the 3rd floor. The large shower head disc is amazing. The 3rd floor also has a foosball table. Excellent surprise

Additionally we inquired whether a slightly later check out would be possible due to the fact that we were travelling with six children. For context, we often make this request when we are on road trips, and without exception hotels have been very accomadating. The response, rather than “I’m sorry, that’s we don’t offer that option” or “that’s not our policy”, was instead “If you check out even one minute past 11am, you will be charged $20”. The response was terse and rude, and only served to reinforce the bad impression that we had already received. I do not know how this establishment has received “exceptional” ratings. We were extremely disappointed. We will not be back.

Front desk wasn’t friendly, didn’t greet you. Waitress and wait staff in restaurant are great. Regardless of how many people you have in your room, you will only receive a daily ticket for your stay for 2 people for free breakfast which is limited. Rooms were okay, however, walls were gross and dirty in some areas. Pool and lounge area is super small.

The cons. Access to the restaurant is the same as the casino. We didn’t go to the casino but you had to walk by a person at the entrance smoking. As someone who struggles with cigarette smoke, not optimal. The real issue was the desk staff. We had an issue with the breakfast coupons (you only get 2 meals per room). So yes, it is included, but if yo I have more than 2 people you have to pay for more. Expedia doesn’t explain that. But the manager, Jamie was very rude. As I was trying to get extra coupons for the whole family, she was completely disengaged. She never even looked up at me to talk. She kept writing room numbers on some papers as if I didn’t matter. Completely unacceptable for a manager. Save the money and go somewhere you feel like a person and don’t have to walk by someone smoking to go to the restaurant.

Great restaurant and casino. They gave us a real free breakfast and had a special on prime rib for $15.99. Room for clean, spacious and reasonable.

It’s 107 degrees in Henderson. When I entered the room the a c is off so the room is hotter than 107 degrees. Took a hour to cool the room off.

We liked that it was dog friendly. We appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the beds. First time I slept through the entire night in a long time! Bathroom and shower was amazing. Free breakfast in the morning was great as well.

The room was very nice and very comfortable except for the pillows on the bed. They were all so hard. It was almost impossible to sleep in the bathroom. Everything looks and work great except for the bidet. Overall, a very nice experience.

Liked the breakfast it was plenty and good.

The hotel looked new. It was well decorated. Ice, vending machines and a laundromat on our floor. The staff was really nice. The casino was nice (not smoky.). They had dinner specials (prime rib and shrimp) that we tried. It was good. We make this trip a couple times a year and we will probably stay there again.

Was nice and clean enough, in the middle of nowhere

Rooms were a decent size and clean. Food was decent. Complimentary breakfast was great as you had a few options to choose from each day. Pool area was very small and could use at least two lounge chairs, only has one which is kinda useless for a pool area. Hotel is smoke free but the restaurant is next to Casino which is not. Constant smell of cigarette smoke in your face when you’re trying to enjoy your meal. Maybe a door should be added to the restaurant!

The property was great, huge hallways, quiet rooms. Would stay again!

The staff was super nice and helpful. Our original room had some issues, but the staff was able to correct the issue right away and move us to a different room. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay! The free breakfast was very good as well! I would definitely stay here again next time we visit Las Vegas!

This is our new go to stop in Vegas. It's 15 minutes off the Strip, which we like. We're not party animals. The price is great for what is included. The breakfast is Great! It's in the restaurant and the choices are basic, but tasty. We jumped in the small pool and it was refreshing. We actually stayed here twice this week. Once on the way to LA and then on the way back home.

The room was noticeably dusty, and the AC clearly needed cleaning or a filter change. When I pulled out the filter, it was covered with a thick layer of dust. I have asthma, and the poor air quality in the room made it much worse—I was triggered the entire stay and wasn’t able to get proper sleep

The Skyline is a theme-decorated casino with a Victorian/Western vibe, which was fun. The room was large and well appointed. The staff is friendly, efficient and competent. They accept my pet cat and I appreciated that a lot. Parking was easy and nearby and getting in and out of the hotel was also very easy.

This was my second stay Skyline Hotel & Casino. I was immediately greeted by the front desk. I arrived late and was able to check in quickly. They offer 2 full breakfasts from the restaurant and it was really filling. Room was big, comfortable , clean and safe. The area seemed a little on the dark side but they have 24/7 security guards walking the premises and I felt completely safe at all times. I’d definitely stay again.

Location was okay but not in the best area. Housekeeping staff was great, friendly and accomadating. The room looked much better online than in person, but that is to be expected with an older hotel. There were old stains on the sheets and pillowcases. The front desk staff, particulary Jamie, was not at all welcoming or friendly, upon check in nor upon checkout. She said not a single word as we checked out, and seemed annoyed when we checked in. We were unable to have their famous dinner as the restaurant was smoke filled from the casino and our daughter, who is asthmatic, could not tolerate it. In spite of this, the staff of the restaurant was understanding and courteous.

The property is not in a great part of town, but I never felt unsafe. My room was very clean. The “free” breakfast was mediocre at best - dried up lumps of eggs but the bacon and toast were okay. The coffee was absolutely terrible. I finally found the pool which wasn’t much bigger than a hot tub. They did have computers available but the printer/scanner didn’t work and apparently hadn’t for quite some time. The evening front desk personnel were okay but the daytime person was surly and unfriendly.

The room with 2 queen bed had a fireplace, light up toilet, bidet and a rain shower head.

This was a great hotel close to Walmart in Costco. We love the pool in the hot tub and the restaurant. The room was very big nice bathroom and I love the fireplace.

Not so friendly front desk help, any shift, for the room- it was Clean, mostly quiet, restaurant food was good but the restaurant smelled of cigarettes.

We arrived at the hotel after a 7 1/2 hr drive from Reno. We had pre-paid for the room. When we checked ln we were told that my licence had expired as the 1st of the month. A total surprise to us! They refused to give us a room even though it was paid for. Stranding 2 mid 70 yr olds in Las Vegas. To made things worse they refused to give back the money we paid for the room due to their 24 hr policy. Had no choice but to drive another 4 hrs to get back home.

It was very frustrating because I purposely chose this hotel because they offer free breakfast but upon arriving they said it's only free for 2 people when I made the reservation for 4. The entire reason I chose this particular hotel is for the free breakfast. Also I was not happy to find the bathroom in my room wasnt very clean. The "clean" towels had someone's hair all over them. Also this place said they had cribs available but again when getting here it was an extra cost.
