Holiday Inn Express Nashville-Hendersonville by IHG

I will stay here again when I'm in the area. My two complaints are the lack of a coffee maker in the room and that the room really did not have good lighting.

We were there for a lacrosse tournament and were 7 minutes away from the fields. It is centrally located - you are not able to walk to restaurants but lots of places close by to drive to. Nice little area with some fun activities and close to Nashville - about a 20-minute drive.

The room smelled like old cigarettes upon arrival for our two night stay en route to Florida. I wouldn’t book here again. Not sure where the “wonderful” ratings are coming from but it wasn’t great.

I liked all the amenities in the room: shampoo, conditioner, lotion, ironing board, etc. The pool was a gross eyesore.

Fabulous breakfast. So many options it was unreal. The staff was very friendly and the property was clean. The only complaint I had was: I came for Mother’s Day, wanting to lay by the pool all weekend, but it was closed down, brown looking like a pond. I was very, very disappointed. They had the pool area pad locked up, and that’s the only outdoor space they had. So, to enjoy the nice weather, I ended up sitting on the bench at the front door in between a trashcan and the smoking container.

I appreciate the free parking and continental breakfast. Our room was smaller than expected, nevertheless it was as pictured. Hotel is within 10 minutes of shopping and restaurants. We had an issue with our tub not draining correctly, maintenance was sent up almost immediately and the issue was resolved quickly. Our stay was pretty good.

The room was clean and had everything we needed from the microwave to hair dryer, hand soap, and lotion too. There were some breakfast options available but I only took advantage of the coffee, which was a really good blend. (I’m picky on coffee so this was a plus.) Location was key as it wasn’t a far drive to parks, food, and shopping. The gym had all basics we needed to get a good workout in after all the food adventures we went on. Will consider this location again next time we’re in town!

The property was very clean, staff very friendly and great free breakfast. Room was nice, however, even though we made our reservation 2 months in advance we got one of the worst room locations possible-elevator was literally at our door, ice machine was next to us, and stairwell next to that. VERY noisy. Walls and floors are VERY thin. Heard someone above us using the toilet. Heard someone else going in and out of their closet with a squeaky door about 6 times at 730am. The first 2 nights were pretty quiet. Then they had weddings and soccer tournament kids on our floor who proceeded to scream and yell and slam doors at 11pm and then at 6 am those kids would scream and yell and run up and down the hallway for over an hour. The sink faucet leaked in our room leaked, shower created huge puddles on the bathroom floor and toilet sometimes flushed and sometimes didn't. If we had had a different room location probably would've enjoyed it better.

I stayed here for six nights, and had a good stay. Room and hotel were very clean and well maintained. Spacious room. Breakfast was typical but good with a variety of options. Staff were very friendly. It was a nice place to stay for my needs.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Hendersonville, Tennessee. My room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. Parking was no problem and I felt safe in the area. The location is very convenient to many restaurants. The staff was very friendly, highly recommend this place.

I did not eat breakfast because I was having an out patient procedure done at the hospital but my sister who who was with me told me it was an excellent choice of fresh foods and the best coffee she had ever had. Everything about our stay was 10

The registration staff, housekeeping and the woman that ran the kitchen were all patient, helpful and respectful. Responsive to our needs. The food was the best I've had at any hotel that includes it with the stay. If I would return to this area I would stay here again.

I'm not typically one to write a review, but the staff here was really exceptional. My family and I stayed here during the winter storm and brought our 6 week old baby. They were very helpful and did everything they could to make sure that we were taken care of and comfortable. Room was very clean with a great bed, shower, and tv. If I have any visitors come into town in the future, I'm sending them here.

Beautiful facility and pleasant staff but the air conditioner in my room made terrible loud noises every time it turned on. Sound like a huge truck was coming in the window. The fan sounded like metal hitting metal. Not much sleep.

The housekeeping needs some work. I stayed for 12 nights and some days it was great and other times it looked like they just made the bed. Bathroom floors & mirror consistently looked dirty.

Fire alarm went off at 3am and i was standing outside the lobby for 1 hr only to find out it was a false alarm that they have beed=n dealing with a faulty system and this was a second instance this has happened in the past. Was not offered a discount or free stay for the troubles.

We were assigned a handicap accessible room. We did not request this room and I’m glad they have those when people request them. However, we were not told it was handicap accessible and the shower was not easy to use without soaking the floor in the bathroom. The showerhead points directly at the shower curtain and straight out to the floor. Again, I just wish we were told upon check-in and given the option of another room if it were available.

This property was great!

The hotel was a nice location from Nashville. It was clean for the most part. Found some dead sting bugs in the corner of the room. Breakfast was pretty good. There is no water fountain. You would either buy water from them or wait till in the morning to refill your water bottle during breakfast.

Shortly after checking in a Tornado was spotted nearby and we were immediately alerted and promptly moved to a secure room in the first floor. Storm passed finally and we were able to return to our room on top floor. Accommodations and overall facility very clean in our room and the dining area… Will definitely stay here again. Thank you !

The ice machines were not working. The lights in the elevator were out and the tv only got news and 2 other stations. HBO, Starz and even MTV and VH1 did not work. When i called the desk they said it goes out on occasion. I was there 4 days and never.had it.

It would have been great if they had given us the room we reserved. I needed an accessible room with a walk-in shower, which is exactly what Expedia said I had reserved, however when we arrived they gave us a room with a tub and shower combo, which I can’t get into. They moved us to a room with a walk-in shower but it wasn’t an accessible room, so no ADA toilet or grab bars.

Check in was easy & efficient. The room was comfortable, clean and had what we needed to make our stay pleasant.

The only problem I have is that my receipt says one price but my credit card statement say it was charged an extra ten dollars. I hope this gets changed.

Found ants crawling up our walls and the entire of the parameter of the room where the walls and ceiling meet. Front desk clerk totally dismissed the issue and when i voiced I wasnt happy she asked "well was there anything else besides the ants wrong with your room. Give me a break, you need MORE problems to acknowledge me!? Have sent correspondence to GM twice now without response (which I ALSO told the front desk girl to have the manager call when she was back in, so technically 3 requests for followup) never again here for the pure lack of hospitality.

My stay was disappointing. I was given a Double bed room which I clearly requested a King for me and my Husband. The Hotel said this was Hotel.com doing. I was not guaranteed a King room since I booked thru Hotels.com. I never had this to happen before very disappointed.
