    "Booked a "standard" room for one adult and one 15 year old. It was TINY. We had to move and "upgrade". Second room had a tub drain that didn't work. Tub was de laminating. Toilet seat was missing a piece and broken. Had to be careful not to pinch yourself when sitting. Alarm clock buzzed so we had to unplug. Window didn't stay up. Smashed my finger in it badly. Breakfast was disappointing. Would not stay again.

    The coffee pot was empty On a Friday afternoon, my room didn't have an iron and it took way too long to get one and the coffee Sunday morning was cold. While I definitely understand 'you get what you pay for' this hotel is trying to be something it's not. The rooms (especially the bathrooms) need a SERIOUS upgrade. It is in an EXCELLENT location with almost everything within 5-10 minutes. My husband who is a veteran appreciated the reserved parking spot.

    While I was there waffles, oatmeal, cereal, sausage and biscuits, stale white bread for toast, small stale muffins What it lacked fresh fruit, milk 3 out of 6 days, large fresh muffins, whole wheat or raisin bread, no hard boiled eggs, no fruit cups, no yogurt, 2 days out of 6 no plates for the waffles had to eat them from a bowl.

    The room itself was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was awful. The shower walls and floor were peeling and stained. The sink wasn’t draining properly and the grout looked mildewed. That’s what $78 a night gets you.

    The first room they put us in was awful. After I contacted the front desk he came up and moved us to 308 which was only slightly better. The hotel is dilapidated and the remake/rebrand didn’t make it look better. Dope fiends greeting you in the parking lot, car break ins, etc. Room cleanliness was lacking, and mini-sized vanity was just too much. Never again!!

    The hotel rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. However, my biggest complaint was the continental breakfast. The toaster was cheap and wouldn’t work, you had two choices of cereal and they had no fresh fruit.

    Upon entering the room I turned on the lights and was immediately disgusted by the carpet that had a huge stain on it and was very dirty. My white socks got stained as I walked on this carpet. The next day I let the front desk know that there was a loud noise coming from the heating system. He said he would be up in 5 minutes to check it out. Over 2 hours later he did come up and never entered the room to check the noise. He offered to move us to another room.black mold jacuzzi didn't work

    The beds were clean, but the carpet was covered in dried plant material. The shower looked like someone tried to paint it to freshen it up, but it was peeling. We had a non smoking room, but the other side of the hallway was smoking rooms and it really stunk. Thin walls allowed all the noises to be heard from Nextdoor

    Shockingly bad. My expectations were very low and they managed to do far worse than I could have imagined. 3 night stay, television did not work after checkin. Notified desk and they made no attempts to rectify the situation. Simply said too bad can't fix it. The bed cover had multiple cigarette burns and smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. I had to purchase pillows and sheets from walmart. Entering the hallway you are faced with a wall of cigarette and marijuana smoke. To each their own but as a non smoker in a hotel with signs promoting no smoking, it made for a very poor experience. The elevator broke on the 2nd day of the stay which made staying on the 3rd floor very difficult as I had numerous work bags to carry up and down from the room. Again the staff made no attempts to fix or remedy any of the situations. It is unfortunate because the hotel has been recently renovated but their customer service is what needs the most renovation!

    Property is outdated and for the price it wasn’t worth it. First room I was given the toilet started gushing with water so I had to be moved. The next room I was assigned I had to remove the toilet top for it to work, no microwave. I’m glad I only had to stay one night. Needs so work. Walls are very thin, we could hear the guest on the side of us. AC unit wouldn’t stay one, beds were ok, phone wouldn’t work in the room for me to call the front desk. Room was very stuffy.

    I checked in after 6 PM went to the first room. It was 52° in there and grungy went down the person at the check-in changed. Our room took us to another room. It was a dirty room. They brought us into bed was unmade the bathroom had been used the person at the front agreed it was a dirty room, although it had been clean to be clean, put us into another room. The next room had a massive picture on the wall that was hanging over the bed moved us to another room. The bathroom was flooded. The person literally took empty rooms and keys and just we went in one room after the other with something being wrong temperature is being 50° 52° things not working finally she said I’m gonna get you a credit for your stay here she got in touch with the main manager who agreed to credit us now at 7:38 PM at night they credited us and I did not have a room to sleep in for the evening. I would never book here again that night. I had nowhere to sleep as they credited my money back didn’t offer anything else to help me find another room compensate me in another way nothing credited my money back to me and we’re like bye stay away from this hotel.

    The room had little black bugs on the mattresses (bed/pull out sofa). The heater kept going up and down by itself there was no set temp. There was a big yellow stain, hair, and on a bug on the mattress topper. A silverfish above my head i thought was dead till it got gone 3 days later. Staff doesn't welcome customers when entering building. I had to wait 30 to 40mins to get service at the front desk why she says she was "working with a customer" which was actually family or friends. Dont know when they going to come around and clean. No communication. The microwave was dirty and stinking, the tub had cracks in it.

    We chose this hotel because of its safe location. It was safe. And also because we have stayed at numerous Wynham hotels and always found them to be comfortable and clean and the breakfasts to be good. This hotel is in desperate need of proper maintenance. The lighting in the bathroom made the towels appear to be stained and nasty. But they actually weren't. Looks like someone tried to fix the shower surround with black electrical tape, amongst many other questionable renovationsn on the property. Cleanliness was neither good nor terrible. Breakfast was all carbs. Unless you wanted to try and get some yogurt out of the machine that dispensed it by the teaspoon. Or to heat a sausage biscuit in the microwave. The bedding was questionable. There was a duvet on the bed without a cover. Had it been washed? or not between guests? The pillows were half sized. We actually made other arrangements and didn't stay for our 3rd night. Will definitely no longer count on the Wyndam brand when choosing accomodations.

    The children in the next room were screaming at the top of their lungs for hours from 9- midnight . There was no adult in there a toddler answered the door for the clerk. Their tv was on All night with pounding drums on. Then at 4am a bunch of phased a screaming match outside our room and were slamming doors multiple times. I went out to the front NUMEROUS times at least 8 to complain. Even the guest on the other side was out complaining about the screaming children. At 3am the clerk offered me to switch rooms. That offer should have been made at 10, not 3. And frankly the loud room should have been forced to move. I asked to speak with the manager numerous times. He was NEVER in and supposedly the clerks left messages. Well now I am really irate. I will not pay for the stay. I would have gotten more sleep in my car.

    There is something going on at this property. I have stayed there a ton as my daughter is in her fourth year at HPU. The rooms and carpet in halls have a very musty smell. It has been getting worse. They really need to address.

    Flexibility with deposit with extensions deposits are annoying and they tie our money up esp if you’ve stayed at other hotels and are from a different state . It takes a second for them to take it but a week to give it back and some of these deposits are outrageous esp when you’ve paid for the room up front . So I’ll always value fairness and people being human in their understanding .

    When entering building the lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. I arrived at 9am to check in an was told I check in was at 3 pm. I was in town traveling and had worked overnight so told the clerk I would have to cancel. Clerk allowed me to check in. When I got to room there was a lighter in bed when I pulled back comforter. Hallways smelled like cigarettes.

    So I’ve stayed here for a month total now for work. After the first 2 weeks everything had been great. I left good reviews and everything. Now when I checked back into a new room I was asked about a deposit and after mentioning that this is the first I’ve heard of it I was told not to worry about it that they won’t charge it. Well then after 1 week into a 2 week stay I wake up to see that the hotel had went ahead and charged me the deposit over night. When I brought it up the staff said they would talk to their manager and I never heard another word about it. I also told the front desk staff that my smoke detector had been beeping extremely loud and I couldn’t sleep and they never came to do anything about it. Everything else was fine, my only complaint is with the front desk staff

    Our stay was a stop on our way to our beach vacation. This hotel was perfect for what we needed. Some corners and edges need a good scrubbing but overall clean. Beds were comfy. Did not hear a lot of noise. The breakfast was slim pickings. I would stay again for a one night stay. I would not stay here for a multiple days vacation.

    The room was spacious , clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom does need an update. Floor tile grout missing, drawers not functioning properly and a bit dirty. For the one night stay it definitely did the job for us .

    The hotel lobby looked like it was recently renovated and was very nice. Until you got to the rooms. They smelled and were kinda dirty. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good however there was a huge mess at the waffle maker and no one ever came to clean it up or even check on breakfast. It made do for a quick stop for the night but that’s all.

    I should have known better than to book a room at a "Super 8" I requested a non-smoker room, and the first thing I get, even though the nice clerk said all rooms were non-smoking, is a nasty smell of cigarette smoke. I come downstairs and request a new room, just to be sent to one that smelled like someone had just had a massive vomit not 10 minutes ago. HORRIBLE experience. I will never be back at a Super 8 in my life.

    We got to our room which was conveniently located and instantly noticed the lack of cleanliness everywhere but the king sized bed and toilet. There was a wad of hair in the shower, someone’s left over chicken wings in the fridge and the pullout sofa our daughter was meant to stay on was filthy. The floors also weren’t swept or mopped whatsoever. These were all unexpected but easy fixes. We threw away the chicken wings- flushed the hair and purchased a mattress for my daughter. All in all, you get what you pay for- just grateful there were no extra visitors of the bug variety. Check out was easy, breakfast was simple and if you want waffles- get up EARLY.

    When we checked in the lady at the desk was super. Very kind and friendly. At 8pm at night when we returned from dinner she stated she’d been there since 6am. That’s crazy to have an employee work that long and no managers on duty. We had a few issues, and there was no manager there. There was no remote for the tv and we had to go back downstairs to get one. The room needed to be vacuumed. There was stuff on the carpet that would stick to your feet if you didn’t wear shoes. The bed & sheets were clean, but that was it. The smoke detector was in a bathroom drawer and the closet area smelled like smoke. The tub/shower was slippery to stand in, but had mildew on the side edges and you could feel scum on the side of the tub. Definitely don’t take a bath. The toilet was so low you’d think it was for a child. The mirror was also very low and the large drawer had no bottom. The bed was not comfortable at all and you could hear loud traffic at 6am waking us up. I asked to talk to a manager Thurs, Fri & Sat and there was not ever one present. Friday night we were up for an hour around 3am due to loud noise from another room. It sounded like people were throwing things. I’d received a text to reply if we needed anything, but the mgr never replied. This was rated 8.0 very good, but it was definitely not the 3 days we were there. Rating the fair would be exceptionally generous. Not worth half the money it cost.

    This hotel was clean and very comfortable. I happily stayed 3 days. I felt safe inside and in the neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful. I like that the breakfast starts at 6am. If I needed a hotel in the Greensboro area I would definitely stay here again.

    I was very leery booking this property, but the reviews seemed to be fine. It was a big surprise when we got to Super 8 in Greensboro NC. It was one of the nicest Super 8's I have ever been to. It was very clean, staff was awesome, and I felt very safe, and the room was large. Thanks for such a wonderful stay.

    Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and the location is good. Walking distance for a variety of food and shopping. But DO NOT ORDER FROM CHINA’S BEST or use Uber Eats. Stick with the room service list provided, direct delivery or take a walk .

    Our room with a king bed only had 2 pillows, when I asked for 2 more they said I could have one. The halls reeked of food and no ice machines worked.     Refrigerator was not working the iron had a sticky substance on it so I couldn’t use it. We requested towels, we never got it. The room had a bad odor. The breakfast, there was eggs. Staff were not friendly, I stood here two years ago, and it was a very nice hotel not anymore.

    I always stay here when I am in the area normally no problems this time I think was by far the worst experience I have had my keys didn't work and the staff acted like they had no idea what I was talking about then asked for extra blankets and a pillow was told they didn't have any asked for a do not disturb sign for my door that normally are in the room was told they didn't have any I had to get one from the person in the room beside me asked for extra towels was told they don't do extra towels during the weekend

    Even though we had done pre-checkin and they debited my acct for the whole stay before we had arrived, they said they couldn't find my reservation. The elevator had a dirty towel on the floor with garbage around it. It was still there the next day. The couch in the room had a huge stain on it. The bathtub was old and cracked.

    The room was supposed to be non-smoking but the bedding had a faint smoke smell and even had a couple of cigarette burns in the blanket. The air conditioner would not cool sufficiently. The thermostat said 66°, which was the lowest setting but it felt much warmer than that.

    We have stayed here multiple times visiting my daughter who attends college in the area. This visit was not up to our expectations. The hotel itself has gone downhill since our first stay in 2021. It was not clean at all and the rooms are becoming very outdated and rundown.

    The hotel is clean, other guest are questionable….we felt safe as long as we stayed in our room. There was two women in the lobby who were not together both looked high and extremely out of place. When I asked the front desk if the one lady was ok he said yes of course. I think they live there and act like that often.
