Breakfast was Great! Entire property is well cared for and spotless. The house was full with junior soccer teams, so very busy. The staff handled it very well, and everyone seemed to be accomodated adequately.

The staff was extremely rude! Front desk manager got mad because our request to her manager because she was being extremely rude. She then proceeded to tell me that she is going to cancel my reservation and call the police. I then left because I had a long flight and was extremely tired so we left to go to another hotel as we were getting our Uber to go to another hotel, she then came outside while we were waiting outside of the hotel to tell us that we need to get off of the outside property while waiting for our Uber or she was going to call the police extremely disrespectful. Was able to get my full refund through customer service, but I do not recommend this hotel.

Nothing Everything Upon our arrival, we walked up to the desk, greeted the agent that was at the desk. He did not greet us back. Also, he had a very bad attitude. His name is Taj there also was a girl working at the desk. She had a smile on her face at least however she was rude as well. When I made my reservations. I made it for a king size room. They gave me two queen beds and he told me there’s nothing he can do about it that I book the room for a standard two queen beds. I showed him my reservations and showed him that I chose the king size bed. He told me they don’t have any rooms rudely didn’t even try to help me or even look. Told me it was the third-party bill billing who messed up my reservations. I told him this looks bad on your hotel. He said no it does not does not affect us in anyway it is not our fault how they book the rooms extremely dissatisfied not happy that they also took a $75 Fee for fundamentals!!!!!!! I do not suggest anyone to book in this hotel extremely bad hospitality even our room has a mold, smell coming from the carpet

Very well maintained, clean rooms. Breakfast was about the best I’ve had at any similar hotel. TV in room was very modern with many connection options. I would definitely return.

The stay was great, the breakfast was great, the facilities were clean and freah. We would stay again. The only item to note was our room was positioned over the laundry room so we heard the machines running into the night.

We stayed 4 days. The hotel room is very nice and clean. Good breakfast every morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near shopping plaza’s.

Location was perfect for what we needed. Staff is great, breakfast was good with decent options. Pool was a bit chilly but kids still had fun. There’s some updates needed in the bathroom (fixing of the shelf and a better deep clean) and there’s a weird constant noise maybe from the laundry room below our room. We do bring a sound machine so it wasn’t too much of an issue when we had the sound machine on. Would stay again.

Had to leave 2 days early of our departure date because of a incoming snowstorm to return to Tennessee and was billed for the 2 days we did not stay there because that is their policy. Poor customer service. Could care less about the customer. Policy smolicy. I was in the service industry for 40 years and sometimes you have to work around your policies to make sure your customers are highly satisfied regardless of your policies. If you want repeat customers this is an example of what not to do. Will not be returning to this overpriced unaccomadating hotel.

I did not get the room I purchased through hotels.com. I purchased a suite but was give. A room with 2 double beds. When trying to load out the back door, the maid would not move her cart at 7:45AM and blocked the exit of the side door to leave. There were people screaming at 1:30 in the morning in the hallway and outside the hotel. Other than these issues, the staff and property were great.

The holiday inn was okay.

Had a great stay, hotel is clean, staff is friendly, and it's located in a quiet area. Only issue we experienced was the first of the two nights we were there the room directly above us was extremely loud all night long right up until about 6 am. Probably had something to do with the two big tour buses in the parking lot and some sports team. They were gone by the next night so it was quiet.

It need to change Breakfast up for people who long stay.

Parking was easy and safe. Well lit lot at night. The whole hotel was clean and fresh. Person at the counter was friendly and helpful. My breakfast was good. My brother and friends live in the area, so I will stay here again.

The location was not convenient to most restaurants. Our first floor room looked directly on the parking lot, with not much space between the room and the parking spaces.

Our stay was very nice. The young lady at the reception desk was so friendly and efficient. The breakfast staff - wow! Jacqueline (Jackie) and Sonia are rare hotel employees for sure. They went out of their way to take good care of their hotel guests. We thanked them for their excellent service. They should be promoted!

Night desk gentleman that checked us in, was amazing. Explained everything and went above and beyond. Only disappointing was breakfast no waffle or pancakes, and toaster was poor quality. Have had way better breakfast at other holiday inns.

Loved the breakfast, lots of options, and the staff kept everything fresh and clean. The location is perfect, and it was surprisingly quiet too. One small suggestion: maybe offer a bottle or two of water at check-in, it would be a nice gesture.

Stayed here for the 2nd time for First Tech Challenge state championship in Elgin. It is not the closest to the event but I like the clearness, the service and environment here better. I also enjoy the variety of the breakfast items

Check in at 11pm was quick and hassle free. My room is clean, well arranged and a welcome site after a harrowing drive by way of unplowed, snow covered highways.

This trip was a bit disappointing compared to years past. Pool was dirty & cold. Hot water on showers in room was non existent !

It was a good stay. Convenient location. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by. Walking distance to the Now Arena. The hotel is new. Every thing was very clean and well maintained. We mainly went to let the kids swim in the indoor pool. The pool was a bit cold, but had plenty of seating and pool towels were always filled. The pool is on on the smaller side, but just fine for our kids to shake off the midwinter blues. Love the coffee machine in the lobby! Access to 24/7 free fresh coffee is great! The rooms are pretty large, well designed with lots of storage and hooks for coats, etc. The free breakfast was fine. As expected for a hotel like that. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked.

Great place to stay west of Chicago right off the interstate. Pool was very small and very extra chlorinated but otherwise place was great. Breakfast was really good for a hotel hot breakfast. Very clean and fully stocked breakfast area. Excellent experience!

Unfortunately after the first night I woke up with terrible itching on my feet. Discovering that the bed I slept in had bed bugs. Upon talking with management, they agreed to switch out the bedding, but later decided to move me to another room entirely.

Overall its a great clean quiet place.

The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. I like that it’s very close to a few major venues such as Main Event Entertainment and Now Arena. A few things I noticed and I think the hotel can be improved upon are: adding hot chocolate packets for guests (kids would love this and I’ve seen other Holiday Inns offer this), making sure the pancake machine is working at all times (it wasn’t working on one of the days we were there), providing fresh hot oatmeal instead of oatmeal in packets. The only way to make the oatmeal packet was to use hot water in a thermos but that can barely cook the instant oatmeal. It would’ve been better to provide a microwave for guests to use which they don’t have. I’ve stayed at other Holiday Inns and they offer fresh oatmeal which is a plus. Also, they don’t have peanut butter packets, only jelly for the bread. Their hard-boiled eggs taste sour so not sure how long they’ve left them in the fridge. Overall, the hotel is pretty good but they can provide a more comprehensive breakfast experience for guests for the price that they’re charging.

The place was clean and welcoming. We came for a conference at the NOW arena. It was a quick stay. The people above us were bouncing around like they were on pogo sticks, but it didn’t last long. The breakfast had a good assortment. Check in and check were easy. We will be back next year.
