Good location if you want to see a little of Hollywood, nothing amazing but staff was great.

Unaware of the $49 parking charge and $21 destination fee and no hot tub, pool closes early and no microwave in the room. Our bathroom was dirty, no biscuits for the gravy that was available but the two breakfast servers were nice other than that would not stay here again.

Breakfast was included which was great, Elsie and the other ladies in the breakfast room were fantastic, all lovely, helpful and were always there to take our plates even though they didn’t have to. The reception was fantastic, organised interconnecting rooms for us very last minute. Rooms and bathroom were big, interconnecting rooms.

If you plan to use the pool be prepared for an ice cold experience as it’s not heated. Want your room cleaned? To them that means taking out the garbage and providing clean towels but they do NOT Make the beds. The staff that work in the breakfast area are amazing.

And the breakfast staff went above and beyond to help with my grandkids. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable very quiet and AC worked great.

Ideal spot if you're attending a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. It's a quick and easy walk. Hotel itself is fine, nothing special. Avoid a room on the 4th floor if possible. That's where the pool and breakfast are located and it's noisy if you want to sleep in.

Staff was wonderfully helpful, they allowed us to store our luggage until room was ready and breakfast was great.

The hotel was really great food was amazing the room was nice it had little things like soap lotion body wash and shampoo and conditioner that I’ve never seen all dove I liked it a lot.

The location of this hotel is within walking distance to the Walk of Fame, etc. Traffic is loud, but didn’t disrupt our stay since the building is built up (most everything is on the fourth floor). The pool is cute but was absolutely freezing, so we couldn’t really swim. All in all, this place was convenient, felt safe and clean, and fed our hungry breakfast lovers.

Room was clean and quiet. Wish the pool was heated but it is L.A. and is usually warm. Our favorite part was breakfast Veronica made sure to welcome us every morning making sure the kids had enough to eat. They also have a driver for hire on site. He did great getting us to LAX at 5a.m.

The room itself was clean spacious, the check in staff was professional the parking attandant reserve the handicap parking for us while we attened an event, breakfast bar was fine, noticed the plates being utilized not paper ones. The A/C in our room seemed it was on full blast no lower control or auto where it turns off and on. The traffic was too LOUD even from the 5th floor and people talking and laughing down below outside walking by.

Two out of three staff members we interacted with were lovely; the third was not friendly at all, and made me feel like I was a nuisance just for being there. The hotel is in a convenient location, but the area around it is pretty sketchy and we didn’t feel super safe here. However, the room was clean and we got what we needed out of our stay. Early bag check was super helpful with the plans we had that day that started before check in.

The reason I’m giving it a lower score is because they don’t tell you about parking they charge you a $45 dollar fee on top of the room per night for valet they should disclose there is no parking and you have to pay for valet

Our first night we found mold on the restroom. Although they did switch us to another room, it was the inconvenience of moving since we had already unpacked. Also, the Valet guy was horrible. Very bad personality and rude.

The hotel was fine, but did not like that the only parking option was valet which was an additional $45/night. I suppose you could park off property but in order to park at the hotel, valet is the only option.

The hotel staff was very kind and welcoming. The location is excellent, just steps away from the Chinese Theatre and the Dolby Theatre area. The room was spacious, the breakfast was very good, and overall we had a great experience.

Staff was wonderful! All very friendly and willing to answer questions/help anyway needed. Breakfast bar ladies were exceptional and sweet. Good breakfast with lots of variety. Rooms were super clean and well maintained. Air conditioning was awesome. Sheets were slippery though and noisy when you moved around at night. Beds were a little soft but overall the rooms were nice. The pool was freezing cold to the point we couldn’t use it, and the light never really hit it because of the height of the buildings around it. There was no hot tub. If you’re in rooms 6+ you have to take two elevators, which isn’t a problem unless you need to go to the lobby to pick up food deliveries. Then it’s a bit of a hike. The location is close to the Walk of Fame, but you don’t want to walk it. The area didn’t feel as safe as other places we have stayed in the neighbourhood. It’s also on a super busy street and most Lyft/Uber drivers have trouble with navigating the turn into the driveway. There are no convenience stores close by if you need supplies.

Valet parking, and parking fees were not disclosed on Expedia. Other than that, great stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Needed more blankets for the pull out bed but we made due. Check in and check out was super easy. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Los Angeles. After a long day at Universal Studios we arrived at the hotel, check in was fast but we were not happy about the 45.00 parking fee. (Should be free if staying at hotel in our opinion). Room was ok but smelled musty. We were placed in a disability room even though we didn't ask to be. The shower was big but the water got all over the floor which is unsafe. The breakfast was great.

Staff was very nice, especially the ladies at the morning complimentary breakfast room and the reception desk. Location was good, but when activities were happening at the Bowl, the traffic was terrible; hard for UBER to get to the hotel. Only one elevator was working the entire time we were there. A bit noisy, even with room towards the back of the property. Immediate surrounding areas not attractive.

The hotel is steps from alley of stars, the Dolby theatre and the Chinese theatre; however the area was super sketchy with tons of homeless people all around. We do not recommend to stay in that area of LA.

My husband and I went to a concert at Hollywood Bowl so we stayed here for one night. The star was very friend both checking in and checkout went smoothly. You can tell the place was recently renovated and the place looked clean and well maintained.. the one downfall was that the room smelled a bit musty. I would stay here again.

The best part of our stay were the two breakfast Attendants Veronica and Maryella. I do not recommend a family suite for more than 4 or 5 people. They say its for 6 but its very difficult. We called because our shower and sink wouldnt drain and they said ok theyll fix it after we check out. Asked them to fix it so we werent having to stand in water while showering, they said no. Couldnt unclog the sink drain and it hardly went down. They refused to change rooms as "they are fully booked". Their "Optional Extra Fee" for valet parking is not optional, its required not optional if you drive a car. That was an additinal $200+ for our 4 night stay that was unexpected. The front desk staff were very rude upon checking in. Our room was set up for enough towels for 3 people, when calling to request more towels and washclothes. They made us walk down to the front desk to request the towels. Will never stay at this facility again just based on the staff and their lack luster hospitality.

Forced to valet. And charged for two days of parking at 63 when technically i was only there for 1 full day. I asked twice for that explanation instead got real polite gaslighting responses that had nothing to do with my very obvious and specific question. Their was a real nice helpful lady named Veronica during breakfast

Driving in to check in, space is very tight, not safe to unload luggage there when there is only space for two cars to park to check in and unload luggage especially when you have little kids. Check-in area is very small. Valet parking is a pro. Hotel room was a suite and it was spacious. Not sure if I would return. Did not seem safe to walk around the hotel.

Our room smelt like mold an pee. There is no airflow in there. You have to turn the ac on, but then it smells worse. Or, you have to open the window and listen to thousands of cars and motorcycles, with honking every 7 seconds. The continental breakfast was the lowest grade. Most of the staff was very nice at least.

First of all, the 2 ladies at check in were great. They were nice and very helpful. We all loved the cleanliness of the whole property. I’m family had a blast in the pool too.

The bad part was that the entrance/exit was on a very busy street so it was hard getting out of the parking garage every morning. The hotel was definitely close to everything though. If we didn't have small children, we would've taken advantage of the proximity to Hollywood Blvd. If you're able to get reservations at the Magic Castle, that is also walking distance. Breakfast was included. It wasn't 5-star but it was definitely good enough to eat every day especially for small kids. Overall, our stay was nice. We would book again.

Perfect choice for a Hollywood stay, just a short walk away from the Dolby Theatre, staff was friendly, facilities were clean. This is my 3rd time staying here and I will stay again when my travels bring me back to Hollywood.

Easy and convenient

Close to the city center and downtown. The staff was great and accommodating. Valet parking only available additional $45. 4th floor was convenient to fitness center, dining and a lounge to entertain friends if they wanted to visit you. They have $20 parking valet for first 2hrs and $45 beyond.

Room amenities were poor. No room service, no water or anything in the room, and limited breakfast options. Slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and so on were not available. But overall, the stay was good.

The property looks old. And a chunk of rooms are added later, you have to go through two elevators to get to them. There is a long walk between the two elevators and it is really inconvenient.

The hotel was very close to universal Studios, had a decent sized room for a large family, and a great breakfast. The AC unit was quite old and didn't work well to cool the large space, but it was a good room overall.

Very nice staff, and was so convenient for our Hollywood Bowl concert - just a 10 minute, safe walk on the sidewalk. Do ask for a room on the back of the hotel if you want to avoid the street noise, which does much of the night. Nice breakfast (free) with very friendly staff there as well. We did valet parking, which is well worth it.

Cannot sleep peacefully. So noisy in the night, outside heavy traffic noise directly come into the room. Rooms are not soundproofed.

It's closest to the Hollywood bowl was the main reason we chose it in the first place. It's only about an 8 to 10 minute walk. We are quite surprised at how nice the hotel was and how great and friendly the staff was. If I was going to stay in this area again I would definitely stay here.

Attended a concert at Hollywood Bowl. Easy walk to and from venue. Easy walk to Ovation Shopping center, walk of fame etc. Veronica and Marieta made breakfast a pleasure and a great way to start the day!

This place has a lot of hidden fees not mentioned on the hotels.com website. I would have probably stayed at a different hotel if I was aware of all the fees. I was charged $160 for extra guest fees and $135 for parking for 2 nights. The hotel was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The main issue I had was kids or someone running and jumping in the room above me until 1am and then started again at 7am which was wasn’t how I wanted to wake up on vacation.

It’s a nice enough hotel, due to the valet parking it was perfect for arriving late and feeling safe. Unfortunately the cockroach greeting us in our bathroom really made us uncomfortable and fortunately had only booked one night. If you have them on the top floor then you have them everywhere.

Stayed at the hotel as we attended a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. We were impressed by the cordial parking attendant and the front desk clerk. Check in was quick and easy and the amenities were reviewed. Our room was excellent and we received a quick response for an additional set of towels. The bed was comfortable and we loved the in room refrigerator. We enjoyed the breakfast and the politeness of the breakfast staff. We look forward to staying at the hotel again.

Improvements could be made in having to always have your card to go up and down elevators as this isn’t a large Vegas style hotel !

Spacious rooms, clean rooms and everything was in working order. We had young kids and it was very close to Hollywood star walk. The pool is not overly large. The morning breakfast is definitely a money saver and was well loved by the kids. Will definitely stay again!

We regularly stay here when we go to the Hollywood bowl. The staff are always so friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

The fridge and air conditioning was noisy, waking us through the night.

Parking is terrible. I parked my car where the valet told me to. I got to my room which took two elevators to get to. Shortly after I get a call that the valet needs my keys so I had to go back down and waited for the valet to appear. They could have just asked for the keys when I checked in. The property is clean and looks newly updated and the room was spacious.

It was within walking distance of a few restaurants. The LA streets are full of characters unfortunately so it might make a nice place feel dumpy only in some parts.

Excellent, friendly, accommodating staff. The facility was clean and well kept and the room was large and had comfortable beds. Location within walking distance of the Hollywood Bowl made it easy to get there and back. Parking rate at $50 a night was steep! Room rate was okay, a bit pricey but due to its location, understandable.

The ladies in the breakfast room are THE BEST - they made our stay! so lovely and friendly and the best way to start the day. Room was a good size for 3 adults who all needed separate beds. Close to everything. Front desk staff were not overly friendly or helpful and everything felt like a hassle when we spoke to them. Valet guys are gorgeous people though! NO daily room cleaning.

We were in town to do the Hollywood walk of fame and tours. This hotel is 3-4 blocks from Hollywood blvd, a short walk to the main area of tourism. The breakfast was fantastic, the security was great, pool was well heated for my son to swim in, the shower was fantastic. There are plenty of food options near by as well. If I ever come back to LA this will definitely be the place we will be staying at again. I wish I could rate higher.

Negatives: at departure we had to go get luggage cart from lobby & wrangle our 2 bags & ice chest down in elevator. And I wouldn’t go again to the small TGIFriday inside Hilton next door! VERY limited menu & a contender for worst restaurant service ever.

The staff were unsympathetic that we had a clogged bathtub drain over the 3 night stay there and wouldn't offer any type of compensation. Very unsanitary.

Booked this Hotel for an event at Hollywood Bowl. It was only a 10 minute walk. It was safe and clean, bed was comfortable. I liked the valet parking staff and my car was retrieved within minutes. I would recommend this hotel if you are attending an event in the area.

Great location with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. All the staff were super friendly and helpful too, would definitely come back and recommend the hotel to anyone looking to come to LA. The only criticism was the amount of single use plastic in the dining room. If all the cutlery and crockery could be changed to reusable alternatives instead then that would be much better.
