    The floor in the room was dirty. Fingerprints on a few places on the wall. Cleaning needs some work. No microwave so had to spend more money on food because we couldn’t warm anything up. The A/C was loud but we were able to put it a bit lower and got use to it. But the included breakfast was good and filling. And prime location.

    Hotel and rooms were clean and nice. Pool was nice, and looks like they are adding a bar to the pool area. Breakfast was not good, everything is over cooked and then thrown in to steamers. Too many lights on at night, that makes it look like daylight all night long in the rooms with the shades closed. Very nice neighborhood that it’s in, felt very safe walking around. Would stay again if they got blackout shades for windows.

    My bathroom area was missing both types of the soap for the shower. There was one small square bar of soap, and I assumed that was all they give you. After mentioning it at the front desk, I was given a different bar soap AND body wash. Not sure if it was a mistake that it was missing, or if you need to ask every time. Bottom corner of bathroom door frame was rotting out due to shower spray.

    Starting from check in to check out, everything went very smoothly at the hotel. The staff is great and very considerate. Clean and quiet.. and the pillows are very comfy! Oh, and they have breakfast options.. yay! The location is unbeatable! Restaurants and shops are across the street or in walkable distance.. everything else is just a short Uber ride away! Absolutely will stay there again when visiting Florida! Just that there was some construction by the pool but it’s for renovation purposes.. didn’t really bother us too much..

    motel being renovated into something that one day might be really nice...HOWEVER currently its a motel. This is a prime example of a catfish when the hotel online looks decent but the place in real life wasnt. ac didnt turn up or down, water never got warm, rust on walls and doorways everywhere, pool didnt appear usable, breakfast had knats, i just would never stay here again.

    The friendly staff. At check in they took the time to ask what we were in town for. The beds are very comfortable and it was quiet outside of our room. These things made it easy to overlook any areas of of the remodel mess. The only negative we can find with our stay was the parking garage.     Room was appropriate. Place under construction. Lots of Noise day time. My key card failed numerous times to open my room door. Scheduled a free ride to the airport through the Hotel, It was never passed along to the shuttle. Had to take an Lyft running late to the airport. Was charged for my extended 3 hours Stay due to the free shuttle ride.

    I liked that they had a giant chess game. Parking is limited and small. They charged the $125 incidental fee to my credit card and now they’re telling me it should be refunded in 5-7 days. It should not have been charged in the first place and just a “hold” placed. It shouldn’t take 5-7 days to refund it either. The air conditioning in the room was not very good and it leaked.

I booked through Booking.com and selected “Pay at Property,” but my card was still charged before arrival. The hotel explained there would be an incidental hold of around $125, which would later be refunded minus fees such as parking, pet fee, and any hotel purchases. However, the charges did not match what was explained. I made the reservation for someone else who was supposed to pay everything at the property, yet I was charged on my card, and they were also charged multiple separate amounts on their card. The total charges were unclear and higher than expected. Even after the staff explained their process, the numbers still did not add up. On top of that, the property was under construction, which was never clearly disclosed before booking. Overall, the payment process felt disorganized and misleading, and it made the stay unnecessarily stressful.

    To make matters worse, my car was damaged while parked outside, and the staff were completely unhelpful when I asked for assistance or solutions. There was no concern, no accountability, and no effort to help resolve the issue. If you advertise parking and charge guests for it, there should actually be available parking accommodations. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with a vehicle.

    Checked in early for a fee. Enjoyed time in the nice pool. Had the whole pool to myself. Hotel was nice. Staff was helpful. Only complaint is how dirty my feet got walking from the bed to the bathroom and back. They were black! I showed the person at the desk a pic of the wash cloth I used to wash my feet. Room looked clean but the floor was filthy which is the case at many hotels.

    First morning there I was upset to see bugs swarming around the breakfast food. The lobby looks alot more updated and fancy than the rooms do. And the front desk service was on some days filled with attitude. Pool was fine. Lots of renovations going on. Being close to the surrounding area was nice at least. I was a solo traveler so the room did its job, but likely won’t stay here again.

    There were smokers along the walkway in front of the rooms. There should be a restriction - NO smoking on property, since the rooms are not well sealed and the walkways are narrow. I appreciated the Greek yogurt option for breakfast. I would appreciate the option of not having cheese in the egg. Overall, decent stay. I may try it again. The smoking and difficult parking lot exit would be the reason we don’t return.

    The area the hotel is located in is pretty decent. Everything is walking distance including a Publix & Walgreens. I did not like how the booking didn’t specify that there would be construction going on. Many tiles were loose on the ground which is another safety hazard. Also the rooms were not cleaned to standard. The receptionist in the front desk with red hair and glasses was very rude as if she hated her job and life. She had a passive aggressive attitude for everything we asked. The nicest staff we encountered were the shuttle drivers!

    Only one problem...the airport shuttle. Called the hotel, they gave us another number to call . Then we were told 30 to 40 minutes. After more than 45 minutes we gave up and took a taxi. If we would have known all that we would have taken a taxi sooner. So I do not know about advertising the complimentary shuttle or mention it could take one hour.

    Would stay here again. Easy transportation over to the boardwalk and about 15 mins from the cruise port. Most of the staff at the front desk was super friendly. One lady was very guarded when I asked to borrow a set of scissors to cut out my cruise tags, which she wouldn't let me use. Breakfast was good each morning. Good variety of food to choose from and it was always hot. 8/10

    Location, clean and spacious room. Feels overpriced, especially by charging a “resort fee”. It’s really a semi-renovated motel with a pool. Still feels like a cheap motel inside the rooms. It’s renovated but just “lipstick on a pig”. It’s Ok for a night or two if you’re not spending much time in the room. Definitely not a resort or vacation destination in itself.

    The bed was comfortable and appeared clean. Employees were not happy. Obviously grumpy like Ms Christine who was overworked but yet she did her job and were nice to my kids. there was one housekeeper that purposely gave me dirty look after I greeted her "Good Morning" . other housekeepers and the lady attending to breakfast was friendly Other staff at the front desk seem clueless on how to organize the room for those who arrived placing more responsibility on Ms Christine. I got my room right away because I was nice to Christine and ignored her grumpiness, But the young last who was waiting on a room more than an hr before I arrived was still waiting. My friend room was delayed but got a room because she was sassy and cheeky with Ms Christine. The company needs to support Ms Christine.She was doing so much that was beyond what most front desk employees are responsible for. she front desk was really busy and crowded

    Is awesome and clean! Didnt like the rug but thats minor i guess.. let me tell you about the front desk staff!! They are not friendly at all ! Which i thought would had gotten better, only one guy who worked there April 10th he sorry i didn't get his name he was awesome! asked a white a girl for a scale so i could have weigh my bag, that B*** watch me straight in my face and told me they didn’t had, which was a Lie!     The bathroom sink and surrounding area had pink residue buildup and looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The entire bathroom felt dirty and poorly maintained. The bedroom wasn’t any better, the curtains were covered in dust and looked gross, and the whole room just felt unclean. The bedsheets had visible blood stains on them. I had to go down to the receptionist to request a replacement and no apology or nothing was given. The breakfast was probably the only normal thing about this hotel but overall, the room hygiene was unacceptable. Never again.

    The room had pepperoni and crumbs all over the floor. The back of the toilet was not clean. We had to request new sheets to replace hair filled ones. Very old room with a very wet looking ceiling. Entrance was very nice and clean. Hopefully they will renovate rooms soon to match the check in area. Bonus was the continental breakfast and shuttle to airport. If clean rooms are your priority, check elsewhere.

    Although it took a long time for me to get on the shuttle because they changed their shuttle color and associated with Hilton true I missed the shuttle and it took me 2/4 hours to get to the hotel my fault not theirs.     The breakfast was very simple. They use plastic plates and utensils. Three or four warm food items, bread things, cereal, drinks and the usual stuff. The sausages were awful. I still don't know what they were made of (ie, plant based or other). The omelettes were good. The patties were ok.

    I hate to write a bad review, but the way this property was displayed online is nothing like how it actually is. It’s true- they have renovated 2 floors of rooms, which I asked to stay in. However, the cleanliness and condition of the room overall was bad. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy from a historic property, but there was literally a used hand towel on the sink as soon as we checked in. Not to mention an already consumed liquor bottle sitting on the shelf, in the room. Not to mention, the newly renovated shower was covered in mildew and no surface of the room appeared to be touched with a cleaner. The hotel is in such a cool spot and surrounded by nightlife and activities but I would rather stay somewhere mediocre that was double the price and farther away, than stay at the Harrison again. Elijah at the front desk was super nice and apologetic and helped us get the rest of our stay refunded. Probably the best part of our visit.

    We ended up staying two nights due to canceled flights. It is a nice place with a free airport shuttle - which helped immensely because of the two cancelled flights! And they offer a breakfast better than a continental with omelets and fruit. The staff is super. They held the luggage for us while we went by uber to the Hard Rock Casino- if you have never been there we thought it was worth the drive. The only problem with the hotel is the outside hallways and when people walk by with luggage it’s noisy. But there’s nothing you can do about it. The room is nice, the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. We didn’t use the outdoor pool and patio but it looked great. A nice restaurant across the street with a short walk (can’t remember the name but it’s funny.. The twisted Boar or something). There is an elevator.

    We were stranded in Florida because of weather and our flight was cancelled. When we arrived we were early (2pm) and were told check in wasn’t until 3pm, which was fine. 3pm came and rooms were still not available. There was construction on the property but nothing we could see. The room itself was okay, clean but the floors had duct tape holding them together with a rug runner covering the issue. Our door would not shut unless you pulled to one side. After getting settled and in bed, my wife noticed a couple of stains on the sheets, so I decided to check my sheets and sure enough I had a few dark spots. The bathroom was decent and the shower was horrible. You have to be 4’10” tall to really take a shower, which my wife and I are pretty tall, so we adjusted the shower head which then allowed the water to shoot out onto the floor even with the shower curtain closed. At night the AC when it turned on was super loud, we were next to the pool so we could hear everything, our neighbors above and next to us were loud as well which meant a restless night. I understand the staff has limited resources and can only work with what they are given, so if some corporate yahoo is reading this, invest in your employees, help make their lives easier which in turn produces a better product.

    Stayed for one night with my husband and kids. We weren’t able to get a room right when we checked in, the receptionist told us the housekeeping was a little behind. Despite that situation, she was very friendly. The rooms were clean.The hotel is very well located there’s plenty of restaurants to choose from near the hotel. There’s also a supermarket and Walgreens walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this friendly hotel.

    And because this is a motel style place the doors open to the outside directly from the bedroom. Not bad, just noisy as people get to their rooms. Breakfast is better than usual continental breakfast with eggs, sausage, pancakes, muffins, breads. And fresh fruit. Fridge and coffee maker in room. Comfortable beds. Clean. A nice pool and patio. It’s got a really great shuttle to and from the airport. Again good place, nice staff.

    Cons: very old hotel outside hallways and windows . You have to keep your blinds close anyone walking past can look right in. Horrible horrible noise all night long , steet noise raving motorcycles, car alarms you name it and all night street parties. Didn’t sleep at all. No one can check in before 3 which seems ridiculous because there are rooms available before 3 why can’t we check in if that room is available. Because of the noise factor we would not return to this hotel nor recommend it to anyone that’s wants to sleep.

    The $ day rate did not reflect the condition of the hotel nor service. It smacked of greed. The main lift didnt function for 2 days. They also had a plumbing issue during the stay. The room was physically missing some of the net or privacy curtains. Building or repair work during the day. Very poor and dirty flooring around the pool area. In using the stairs, there was evidence of poor house keeping. Brooms left out and not used for 2 days. Debris not collected and just an unkept feel to it. No ramp at the entrance of the hotel or asdistance with baggage. There is an excellent Sushi restaurant almost next door which is worth visiting but for the hotel, be ready to be underwhelmed but pay top dollar.

    The Harrison was OK. It has a great location. A lot of restaurants around the hotel. Construction was happening when I was there it’s a beautiful building. I guess when it’s finished updating, it would look real good. I had an updated room they needed to do a little bit of adjusted with the shower the door to get into the room you could see daylight the pool was big and clean. The whole building was cleaned. The staff was friendly. It has everything there, washing machine, ice machine, and a lot of restaurants around the building great location, few miles from the beach, few miles from the train station so you could get around very easily. I don’t have nothing bad to say about this place.

    This is my first time being catfished by a hotel. The hotel isn’t really a hotel, but more of a motel. Our flight was delayed coming in, so when we went to call for the shuttle (which displays on the booking description the hours, but states that it is available upon request) we curtly found out that actually the shuttle isn’t available upon request, so we took a $40 uber to the hotel instead. After a long day of travel, we were delighted to finally reach the room and go to sleep, but were less than warmed when we entered the room and it looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. The room was so worn down, everything looked like it was 40 years old (including the paint on the walls). The tub was dirty, the bed was so squeaky you literally couldn’t move on it, and the lock on the door to the outside world was hanging on for dear life. I was thankful that we were only there for 6 hours before we had to leave to head back to the airport. It was truly a yuck experience, especially since it still cost $350 USD to stay there. Would 100% pay $50 more and stay somewhere else that is actually nice.

    First the bad news. Check-in and checkout are a disaster. Plan on 20+ minutes each way. They REALLY need to fix this. Staff not very helpful and def not cheerful. Now the good: Our room was very nice, modern, spacious, and the bed was super comfy. AC worked great and not noisy, lots of hot water. No weird smells. Stayed on 3rd floor adjoining large patio area and pool. Same floor as breakfast in the morning which was remarkably good. Room door opens to the outside, not a hallway which we liked. Very quiet except for some occasional noise due to construction and building refurb in progress. A bunch of stairs at the entrance so if you use a walker or have a heavy suitcase be warned no adjoining ramp. We used the parking lot ramp to wheel everything in which worked fine. Luckily no cars using the ramp at the time. And don’t bring a car if you can help it. No place to park for free else pay a daily rate of maybe $15 or so. Feee shuttle from airport was very slow to pick up and had to stand in the tiny isle since every seat taken. Shuttle is contracted with an outfit called Ways that services several other hotels besides this one. Walking distance to nice restaurants in this lively area which we loved. Lots of kids and they were all happy. Bottom line, you will need lots of patience to stay here but we found it worthwhile because the room was so nice and comfortable and the dining options nearby and fun atmosphere.

    At our long travel, we were probably less than an hour from the check-in time. Once arrived at the hotel staff at the desk, advised that we were not able to check in early. We had to wait till our check-in huh. Whenever it got close to the check-in time staff at desk was not checking in other patrons that were waiting also to be checked in prior to the check-in time. When I did staff if we could go on a check-in staff said there was still a problem rooms were not ready. After that conversation, staff was noticed conversation with other staff members and then staff left the building. When going right back up to the desk at the original staff leaving the building and the other staff member went on and immediately checked us into our rooms.

    We enjoyed staying at the hotel for one evening on our way out of Florida from the fort Lauderdale area. The Hollywood section of Fort Lauderdale is not to be missed. We did not expect all the window shopping and quaint streets surrounding the area. We will be back.

    This is a wonderful place to stay. They are doing some work to make it even better. Located in historic Hollywood, FL, there are many places to eat nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing that was an issue for us was the elevator was just outside our door and it was very loud. I’m sure this was only a problem if you are right beside it.

    There were empty trays and no food for breakfast despite going back twice. We had to buy breakfast elsewhere. The TV remote control did not work because of corroded batteries. Corners of bathroom floors were dirty. You had to lift up on the door to engage the lock. Would not stay again.

    If you are booking the hotel because of the airport shuttle, don’t bother with it. We called three times and waited about 1-1/4 hours for the shuttle to show up. (I do understand it appears they contract out the shuttle). Despite being up since 2:30 am we couldn’t check into our room early. In fact, it seemed more like the front desk girl just didn’t want to check in anyone as approximately 8 people sat around waiting for their rooms to be ready. At 4:00 the front desk clerk promptly left as we all sat there and the next guy checked us in. It seems that they could use a bit more of the hospitality and kindness at the front desk to run a hotel.

    The location is the best part. The lobby had a very strong room deodorant smell that I found overwhelming- I am sensitive to scents however. The music being played in the lobby when we first walked in was at a loud nightclub level and playing hip hop which was an odd choice for how The Harrison’s lobby is designed. The check in team /staff were pleasant and from what I could tell, unfazed by the volume of the hip hop music playing which I found amusing. The room was basically clean. The carpet in our room was very wet for some reason when we first entered so started with wet socks there. Lol The pool area is nice and clean. The staff who were present at the breakfast the next morning seemed annoyed with, well everyone. Again I found this amusing-they weren’t rude per-say but curt and cold/not interested in talking or helping anyone. After breakfast, at 0930, we returned to our room to discover that our keys had been deactivated. Again - odd. At 1059 on the dot, housekeeper knocked hard on the door to say its check out time. Didn’t appreciate that. We were ready to go but they made it clear we were not welcome to stay even a minute longer. The location is a winner and the pool helps. A short stay is ok. Wouldn’t stay more than 2 nights based on the vibes from staff and the other mentioned items.

    When we arrived at our room, I noticed you could see into the room through a space by the door where there appeared to be missing weather strip. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean for the most part, exception was the floor. The vinyl plank gets swept each day, but not mopped. you can feel the grit if you walk bare foot. The shower had low pressure, and the faucet was very hard to adjust to get any hot water. There is hot water to the room, because you get it in the sink with no problem. The shower however was quite cold. We just stayed for a one night lay over, and I was glad, as we would not want to occupy that room for a longer period. On the positive side, There was a complimentary buffet breakfast, and the airport shuttle was included. There were some nice amenities like the pool and a games court for corn hole and life size chess. The location was decent, close to restaurants and stores. There was quite a bit of construction happening on the property, and it was quite loud during the day. Hopefully this helps to fix the issues with the room.

    The TV was adequate, but the smallest I've seen in a hotel in modern times. The location of the hotel is a perfect if you want to be in the middle of the Hollywood scene. There are many local restaurants, parks and bars all within a short walk. The free shuttle from the airport is available - just be prepared to wait 40-60 minutes for pickup.

    It was a strange thing in that they took an old Ramada and built around it. That being said, it was clean, though under renovation. The hotel is in a safe area, close to the main street in Hollywood, Florida, and many restaurants. The shuttle to the airport was on time and easy, though I had difficulty getting the shuttle from the airport to the hospital. The breakfast was mediocre, and they ran out towards the end of the meal period.

    There was only one person working the front desk when we checked in after 7pm. We had a long wait and once we got in the room it was dirty. Do not recommend staying on the 4th floor outside our room was corn hole game. People kept us up until 10 PM and we got woken up at 730 AM to sound of bean bags getting tossed. Had to pay for parking in a garage where the parking spots were so tight making it impossible to park. Terrible experience would not recommend this hotel.

    The location is great but the price for the room is eh… The walls are really thin, like paper thin! Also it was a price discrepancy, after booking with Expedia my receipt stated only $40 will be required at the hotel only to arrive at the hotel and have to pay $210! This could be a serious issue for people who budget for their trips, coming out of pocket $210 without preparation for that charge is insane.

    Our stay started out in a negative manner due to failure on their part to provide a shuttle as was promised. I called them before I booked our stay to ensure that they would provide transportation at such a late time, as we were arriving late at night. I was assured that a shuttle would be provided. I called the morning of our stay to make sure nothing had changed, and again, I was assured that a shuttle would be provided. When our flight landed, I called the shuttle number five times, but nobody picked up and we had to get an uber. Very disappointing.

    We had a great stay at the Harrison Hotel Downtown Hollywood. The rooms are nice and spacious. The free breakfast and shuttle to the airport were also great additions. Faye at the front desk was awesome. We just wanted to leave our luggage to go out but she found rooms for our group. There are also nice restaurants options within walking distance.     The rooms and the property itself was good so for that reason I give two stars but they don’t have shuttle service from airport which they said they have and after a long flight I had to wait for shuttle which never came for more than hour, receptionist with whom I talk about shuttle services who said shuttle would come to pick me up she was very rude she’s one with glasses and a white old lady she was very rude.

    I had to change rooms four times. Double queen suite window was facing a wall with a washer and dryer outside the window. The second room they down graded me to a Kin size room with mildew around base of the wall. The third room the shower didn’t work. Fourth room was like a cave. Breakfast was horrible.     The pool was relaxing as water temperature was great and lots of towels were available. The room was very spacious, bathroom was small, the shower had only warm water, toiletries were average. Hotel location was great and about 20 minutes from FLL airport. Lots of nice restaurants.

    Nice hotel, beautiful and clean, when I arrived at the front desk I was charged $153 for incidental after paid for my room the day before, that is crazy!, minutes later went back to front desk for coffee and bottle of water and lady ask for $10 dollars, most expensive cup of coffee and water I paid in a hotel ever! told the lady to charge it to the room since I have a lot of money from my incidental deposit and she said they can’t and I have to pay for it.     Horrible place, I would rather give zero if I had a choice. Hotel is old but worst is the service. They charged me one night that I did not use and informed them multiple times beforehand. Manager is rarely available. They posted a charge the whole amount incidental which we never damage anything instead should have been of pending. Only reservation fee and parking fee should have been charged. We compliants until they realized their mistake. Breakfast barely had anything and very limited options, we dont eat pork and I cannot have dairy. Nothing was labeled. Door doesnt shut, you have to put it hard multple time. Some of lights do not work. The charger outlook had issues.

    We needed a place to stay for one night after a cruise. I admittedly was a little hesitant after reading some bad reviews, but overall I enjoyed our stay here. We arrived 3 hours before we check in, but they stored our luggage and allowed us to use the pool while we waited. Our room was ready promptly at 3. Our stay coincided with Hollywood's Centennial Celebration. It was a short walk to the festival in the park where we enjoyed music, food trucks, vendors, a car show and my favorite - free icecream! :) After the event we Ubered to the Hard Rock and got back to the room around midnight. The room was mostly clean. There was a dirty towel hanging on the back of our bathroom door that was missed from the previous occupant, and there was a dusty sketchy vent in the shower (could easily hide a camera in there so we covered it up before using the shower using a wash cloth and the shower cap that was provided). The room showed a bit of wear and tear, but there was ample room and the beds were huge and quite comfortable. Bedding and fresh towels were clean. The AC unit was very loud but I need to sleep with a fan on so I actually LOVED that it was loud. The complimentary airport shuttle was easy to schedule and arrived on time. Overall, I did enjoy my stay here. One caution: the main entrance is about 10 stairs, and I didn't see an accessible entrance. Maybe I just missed it?

    It's just so loud with the clubs at street level, the fan in my room was loud and the smokers outside you could smell it. It's almost like a motel but it has a front lobby off the street. I felt mostly safe.

    This hotel is not as described. The elevators were being working on and had hughe sheets hanging in them. The room looked like a motel room that would go for under 50 dollars a night. The room smelled of mildew and old water. It is nothing like what is pictured. The staff that checked us in was not friendly at all. She hung up on me when i called about an airport transfer so we had to take a 35 dollar lyft. I would not recommend unless you really need this room

    To start, the photos of the hotel are deceiving. It is set up like a motel, where all of the doors are outside. We booked the Deluxe Mini Suite to accommodate our party of 5 since in comes with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa with room to move around. My dad is in a wheelchair, so the room we originally booked was also wheelchair accessible. We arrived at the hotel late because of a delayed flight at 3 AM. The door to our room was stuck shut and the only other room available was a premium two queen room. This room did not have a pullout sofa, because of this, we had to have two Roll out beds brought in. There was no room to even walk around or get to the bathroom or front door because of the rollouts. My dad had to park his wheelchair in the bathroom and stay in bed the entire time. Although the room was renovated, it was very small and the door had a huge gap in it so we could hear every sound coming from the hallway along with the light shining in from outside our door. Also, the a/c unit was leaking water so there was a puddle under it. The front desk insisted that this room was an upgrade, but it did not feel that way since we couldn’t even move inside the room and we had to have adults sleeping on cots. Plus, I could see online that the room we had originally reserved was clearly more expensive. Despite the inconvenience, they insisted all they could do was remove the $20 in resort fees. I would honestly never stay here again. No regard for customer service.

    When i went for breakfast the lady setting up was very slow and rude. No plates no silverware no nothing. I waited for 30 minutes for eggs and plates. Another person said breakfast was fine yesterday today was terrible. The hotel is nice and the price isnt cheap so i expect better service. I spoke with the young lady at check out and she was nonchalant or she didn't understand me.

    The guests in the room next to ours were smoking marijuana late at night and again early in the morning. I immediately informed the front desk, especially because I was traveling with my 11-year-old daughter, yet the hotel did absolutely nothing. We even found cigarette butts in front of our door, which clearly shows a lack of hygiene and supervision. The room conditions were unacceptable: dirty sheets, unpleasant odors, and poor overall cleanliness and maintenance. Despite reporting everything multiple times, the staff showed complete indifference and provided no support. On top of this, the hotel charged a higher amount than the rate shown in my reservation, and at no point did they offer a clear explanation or solution. Their constant response was to tell me to “deal with Expedia,” even for issues that were clearly their responsibility as the property. Due to all these problems, I was forced to leave the hotel to protect the health and safety of my family and had to pay for another place to stay. This was stressful, unexpected, and completely contrary to what was advertised. I strongly discourage anyone from booking this hotel through Expedia. The negligence, lack of cleanliness, unsafe environment, and lack of accountability from the property make it a highly unreliable option.

    Older hotel being refurbished. Room floor was absolutely filthy...had to ask for it to be washed. Rest of room was clean and beds were comfy. Near shopping and an amazing Ukrainian restaurant just down the street. Hotel breakfast wasn't edible...just a few leftovers...even though we went during open breakfast hours. Beautiful pool and patio areas.

    Me and my friend stayed for two and a half weeks. The room was okay, but it was missing a microwave. They also charge extra fees ($12) for WiFi (which isn’t the strongest), room cleaning (which happens when you’re not in the room, and you can or not consent to it), and breakfast (which was reheated eggs, sausage and bacon). And on-site parking in the garage adds a $15 fee per night. Fridays and Saturdays cost anywhere from $120–$190. We also got charged about $200 extra for being there on Halloween night. I’m sure it’s an okay stay for one night, but not preferable for an extended stay, I’m sorry to say. Being able to sit on the patio was nice, and it’s right near downtown Hollywood. There was construction on the patio. The room was okay, cleanliness wise, as was the rest of the place. Not the best, but not the worst.

    The property is located right where we were attending an event so it couldn’t have been a better location. Our room was clean and we were greeted by a very friendly woman at check in. The only negative was the free breakfast but that isn’t why we stayed there. Someone did get stuck in the elevator and the fireman came to get them out so the elevator was off after that. Would stay there again.

    The Harrison was average. The room smelled a bit musty and had sand on the floor. We only stayed one night before boarding a cruise. The stay was adequate for this purpose, but I wouldn't want to stay here longer than that. There were kids outside our room until midnight playing with the corn hole boards and life size chess. We were unable to go to sleep until they went back to their rooms.

    Whoever took the pictures of the rooms deserves and award because the room we were on looked about 30 years older! There were very dark stains on the floor and a sticky blob on the dresser.     Staff locked us out of the room after I paid extra to stay past the check out time. I requested staff to come unlock the room, (I had a broken ankle and couldn’t walk far) and they refused and were argumentative. During check in staff were not friendly, had an attitude and any question I asked seemed like I was bothering them. The room was also hot and musky. The AC was broken.

    There was too many issues as soon as we checked in. First the sink was leaking and we had to move rooms after we got situated. Then the closest elevator stopped working and someone was stuck in there. Then after getting to hotel our room in the afternoon for a quick stop, our keys didn't work and we had to waste more time going to front desk and have them fix the problem and we didn't even get apology. She took long time to confirm I was actually booked until the next day which she seemed confused about and must have checked everywhere possible to confirm I was in fact booked up until the next day. Next, the parking lot was always full with no where to park and small spaces with a $15 a day charge for that poor parking lot! Then there is the room service of cleaning. We needed to leave our room later than most days (9:45 ish) and the staff came by at maybe 9:15- 9:30am and informed me that they are NOT allowed to come back to clean our rooms if we are not out by they time they come by. I don't like being on someone else's time. So our room didn't get cleaned that day. If you are a bit picky, then I would not recommend this place! The rooms were clean, updated and nice but service was poor in my opinion!

    Went up to our room - Room was wide open??? WHY you might ask - Because it was NOT Clean (did I mention it was OVER 90 degrees outside) Housekeeper was WONDERFUL and offered for us to wait in the room next door and we waiting for approx 25 minutes - the hotel was obviously NOT sold out - We checked in approx 4:00pm so Front Desk definitely should have known which rooms were clean!!! More work for the housekeeper!!!! Front Desk needs some work Since it was raining off and on there are the "Wet Floor signs" everywhere - but I did notice on the 3rd floor Patio area some of the tiles were very Loose. is there a better way of monitoring the "Breakfast" area instead of asking MORE THAN ONCE - what room I'm in - I went in for coffee - gave her my room # - Husband went in next - ask for the room # - then asked me AGAIN (less than a minute later) what room # I'm in - I LOVE the location - but some things need much to be desired Why doesn't the "GUIDE" on the TV Work correctly??     This is a truly unique, one of a kind experience. I loved staying in the heart of downtown, which was very vibrant. I initially booked it because it was within walking distance to a medical facility my husband is at, but ended up loving it and would love to come back together once he gets well. If you’d like to take a break from the same big chain humdrum experience, try this hotel. Plus the free breakfast was awesome – two different kinds of eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, bagels, coffee, orange juice anything you could want really. By the way, it’s within walking distance of Young’s Circle which has a very nice peaceful nature setting, walking path, a dog park and a playground plus a stage when they have concerts.

    One of the things that I didn’t see on Expedia was that they’re under construction just something for the next people that might be interested in staying there. It was very well organized, but they’re doing a great job, but it is under a construction.

    The only friendly staff person was Nancy the breakfast lady. The blonde girl at thw front desk very difficult to understand what she speaks, the cleaning people rude and nasty attitude at all times. They clean but they are rude. The rooms (at least the one I satyed) needs a good wall painting.

    It’s was cool.. service was great! Breakfast is was so so, but ok! And the parking lot was very small.. love the rooms and the lobby area and the pool. I love the big chess board outside . Nice lay out! We had a great time .

    Lovely Hotel - a little bit of renovations going on - but nothing major- Had a wonderful visit - in fact we scheduled a visit in a couple of weeks!! Everything was centrally located - once we parked - we explored on foot!
