The room was great, staff was great. Easy walking distance to the stadium.

The staff were very nice and helpful! The pool is extremely small! The renovations was VERY INCONVENIENT AND LOUD!

The hotel was well maintained with clean rooms & I had the support of friendly & helpful staff throughout my stay.

Great location downtown close to everything The place is really run down and in poor repair. One of the elevators was broken. Our air conditioning didn't work. The bathroom had rotted walls. The window was so dirty you could barley see outside. Everything in the whole place was in some sort of disrepair.

I was charged twice for a one night stay. I tried to resolve with the property and also by contacting customer support at hotels.com at different times but my requests were ignored. The property was not the cleanest and the pool could had used a bit more attention. First and last time staying.

A great bang for your buck. We stayed on a Sunday to Tuesday and Monday was a holiday so street parking was free. Pool was well maintained and the pool bar opened and the drinks were solid. All the staff was so helpful and so friendly. Room was clean and it was HUGE. The bathroom had so much space.

Stay was way over priced. There was no water pressure in the bathroom at all. That includes sink and shower. There is no parking without paying $50 for valet or $29 to park yourself. Tv barely worked. You have to figure out which remote does what to operate. Then to top it off after you pay for your room they charge another $150 which takes another week to reimburse. I will not waste my time or money at this place again.

The bed was also uncomfortable, which only made the experience worse. On top of that, parking is $57, and my card was charged twice for it. For the price, I expected a much better experience.

The location is outstanding. Everything is within reach: restaurants, shops, and attractions are all nearby, making it incredibly convenient whether you’re traveling for business or leisure. I appreciated not having to travel far for meals or entertainment. For the price and amenities, this property offers excellent value. the staff was super nice and helpful throughout the entire time we were there. breakfast was perfect and the room was everything we needed and more. would return back to this hotel when I visit houston again. also the rooftop was a great addition to the experience

We did book just a few weeks before and there were many events in town, so I'm sure inventory was low. We ended up in an ada room which was not ideal. The sliding door was a beast and there was no definition between the shower and toilet so the entire space got wet. This also meant for awkward dressing spaces with the bathroom being wet and needing privacy from other family members.

Halls are very dark, AC was spotty, breakfast pre wrapped continental take out- lobby bar was poor, and pool bar not open during the day on Saturday. My advice is stay elsewhere

There were lots of selection of shops nearby.

I reserved two queen beds in August. Without me knowing the hotel did not hold that reservation. Instead, my room came with one king bed and no advance notice was given of this and absolutely nothing was done to rectify this. Per the front desk, "we can check back in the morning to see if something opens. Our keys didn't work to get in the pool. Staff was not rude but they were absolutely no use when fixing the room situation.

All the main attractions of the city are no more than 10 minute walking distance. Staff was very informative and accommodating. Eateries nearby underground tunnel access nearby. Toyota center, Daikin Park.

Dirty. The room condition was poor. The toilet seat was broken off, the toilet paper holder was too. The sink was so clogged with food or trash that I had to unscrew it. Mold and mildew in the shower. Poor lighting and my room had no light as there was basically no windows.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, WORST HOTEL EVER!! No cold water. AC did not work. Upon checkout receptionist very rude. They came to fix water, but did not fix. Asked for manager wad told I was speaking to a general manager. I would hate to talk to the owner if that wad a GM!

Didn't have breakfast, it was too crowded nowhere to sit and enjoy. Some Water pressure in room would have been nice there was only a drip, shower and sink didn't have hot water . Didn't get fixed after it was told about.

Size of room and high ceilings. Very cheap coffee maker. Light above my bed did not work; I let front desk know and it was not fixed for the duration of my stay. I am blind in one eye and unfortunately need light to see well so was unable to work on my computer in the room which was very inconvenient and not expected. Workout room was decent but does not have up to date equipment including no spin bikes and the water dispenser didn't work so instead mini water bottles provided but these are small and difficult to use while running on treadmill.

Beautiful place and location housekeeping was only around until noon ish and i like to sleep in so we wouldn’t get maid services if we slept in. more of a personal preference

Television remote didn't work because cable box was located behind it. We had to switch rooms because of that along with the low and cold water pressure in the sink and shower. The next room had an operational television remote and hot water in the shower but the water pressure was still very low in the sink and shower.

Receptionist was not very welcoming, the lobby door had to be opened from the outside. I stood there about 5 minutes as she looked at me, she didn’t open the door until I went to the other entrance.

Our first room had a bad leak and an awful wetness smell. We reported it to the front desk and they got us in another room immediately.

An overall great stay! Did originally check into one room that was hot and chalked it up too it was just a hot day in general. However, after attending the baseball game and returning late room was even hotter than when we first got there so upon speaking to staff, they were able to accommodate us and move us and way colder room. Friendly staff, clean environment, will definitely stay there again.

My stay was far from ideal. The escalator was out of service, and the elevator moved at a frustratingly slow pace. Shockingly, some windows in the room had visible bullet holes, which raised serious safety concerns. The third-floor hallway was wet and slippery, and to top it off, the air conditioning failed during my visit. Overall, the experience was disappointing and unsettling.

Was looking forward to a weekend getaway. Had tickets to the Astros game for Saturday night. Check in was uneventful with very nice people working. Valet was a hoot. Got room keys and off we go to our room. Exit the elevator on the 3rd floor and you are greeted to the very pungent aroma of marijuana being smoked somewhere in the vicinity of our floor. Got to the room and the smell had permeated into the room. Sheets and pillows smelled of it, towels as well. By the end of the stay the clothes in our suitcases smelled of it. I was concerned about driving home on Sunday because there was no way a cop wouldn't think my wife and I weren't stoned out of our minds in the event we got pulled over. We notified the front desk but I'm sure little to no effort was put into locating the culprit. Large signs in the lobby another located by the elevator and a card in the room all stating no smoking property. I was young once I liked to party as much as the next guy but I was a little more discreet when I was smoking a joint. Overall the property was nice and the staff was great however I will stay somewhere else from now on. A few bad apples have spoiled it for me!

Property is nice but this is the second time I’ve stayed there in 4 months time and they are still an elevator down.

Fire alarm went off 1:00am ran down 8 flights of stairs get to the lobby. No personal around. No explanation. Then when try to back to our rooms the elevator dropped a whole floor, twice!

Our bathroom was a handicapped with toilet and shower is same stall so the water ran down tj the toilet slipped going to the toilet and fell Then water started running into the dressing part of the bathroom people beside us was so loud elevator was slow as hell Internet said restaurant but there wasn’t one Just not happy at all

I came to check in but i did not get to bevause the system is down which is understandable but i waited for 3 hrs then called to check and they didn't know when the system wouls come back so i mever got to check in i am waiting to be contacted to get a refund since i never got to stay. I had to find another hotel in fear of not having anywhere to stay or being stuck

For being my first time ever staying at an Aloft hotel I have to say it was nice. Staff at front desk very friendly and the room was nice. Bed was also comfortable.

Cute hotel. Service is spotty. Hskping staff on floors were very nice. Gentleman at the desk was very nice, his lady cowrker was not. Spoke w lady about used, dirty clothes from previous guest that was found in a drawer and there was zero concern, no apology : okay, I”ll let them know. She needs training. Otherwise bed was comfy, rest of bathroom very clean. Pool was tiny and needed to be cleaned up. Views from rooftop are great.

It was good overall, but can do with some maintenance and more comfortable bedding. The pillows were pretty uncomfortable, the safe in the room was out of batteries, and the toilet was leaking. On-site dining would be great, too! Besides that, staff was amazing, very responsive, and helpful.

Our air was broken … I had to chase the manager down all morning … as I checked out the front desk said I would probably receive a credit … he still don’t call me back… after I placed a call to the corporate office then I received a call from the mgr./. With info for my refund-

The hotel was just ok. The elevator was not working which was a problem for me especially because I had Ubers waiting for me. They need to get the elevator fixed and there was no attempt made to do so.

The elevator was under construction so the wait for one was so long. There were no baggage carts available that didn’t help with there only being one elevator. My room has a continuous noise that sounded just like a mouse. The staff was great super friendly, polite and helpful.

However, I did want to mention that during this particular stay, we encountered an issue with excessive noise outside our room, which unfortunately made it difficult for us to rest. Despite our efforts to relax, the noise repeatedly woke us up throughout the night. We understand that some situations may be beyond your control, but I wanted to share this feedback so it can be taken into consideration. We loved our stay at Aloft! It’s in a great location and the king room is spacious with a great sized bathroom as well. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and found the drinks to be reasonably priced. The only issue we found is that the air flow in the room was not ideal, leading it to be fairly warm at night. We may have needed to turn the air down much cooler. Otherwise everything was clean, felt updated and well-maintained and in great walking distance from activities in the area. Would happily stay again!

The staff was nice and the building was as nice as it could be, a bit older and run down. The rooms with big windows and a city view is a nice touch but be prepared for outside noise.

The property was ok! Great location, many restaurants in the area. Pictures are misleading, pool is extremely small and not very inviting for guest, poorly maintained. Several leaks throughout the building, resulting in an awful smell throughout the hallways due to wet carpet. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Met some prostitues in the lobby, very interesting experience. Bullet holes in the window. Might want to repair that Aloft! Next time I visit Houston, I will definitely be choosing a different hotel.

Rooftop pool/bar is a nice space to relax. Reasonable walk to watch Astros baseball games.

Soon as you walk through the entrance door, it’s smells like sewage, getting the room thru this third party app and not knowing what your room will look like is not cool. My boyfriend and I picked a king size room, but when we got there it was no view just a window facing a wall, that was wack, I advised the staff as my key wouldn’t unlock the doors to the roof top, about my room she said she would see what she could do, and she said she get us another key card, well yeah she never contacted us… traveled far just to not get a window view and stared at a wall the whole time I was there in that room…. Room 801 no window view just a wall

Couple staying for one night. Close, walking distance, to the Hobby Center and the theater district. Lots of food choices close and on the way to the theater. Valet was quick and friendly.

Had air conditioning issues from the time we checked in. Was told multiple times nothing they could do about it because their maintenance had already left and the hotel was sold out. When we came back in after going out it was like a sauna in our room and magically a new room was given to us.
