The owner of the hotel has horrible customer service skills, he does not know how to test his customers, not only did he try to charge me twice for my stay, he did address the problem with our AC in our room and roaches were in my coffee pot and hair in our bath tub from whomever stayed the night before, the blankets were stained or maybe never washed I'm not sure, and when I complained the owner told me to get off his property since I didn't come to him I went to Expedia. The front desk guy. Was very nice but as far as the owner horrible, the breakfast and that area needed cleaning the only thing I likeed about it there was the front desk man!

When I got to my room, the sheets were dirty and had brown spots all over them. I booked for three nights, so this was very disappointing. I asked to switch rooms, but they told me there were no other rooms available. I then asked for fresh sheets, and the replacement sheets were somehow even worse. I also asked to speak with the manager, but he kept cutting me off and wouldn’t even listen to my concerns. Overall, the customer service and cleanliness were unacceptable.

They can be better if they apply themselves. My room had a non working phone no buttons . It wasn’t even plugged in . No cords whatsoever. The coffee maker wasn’t working. And no coffee . No cups . The sink and the tub drains were pulled out and laying on the side . The carpet stink and was dirty !

Our room was dirty, hair in the bed, make up on the pillows. A condom wrapper under the head board. The head board had hand prints. The sheets and towels were stained. The sink in bathroom was clogged. No power cable for tv, tape holding batteries in on the back. Ice machine didn’t work. No juice for breakfast, no cream cheese for bagels. No soap in the dispensers chair had stains . Very unsatisfied for my first time in Texas. :( I feel I should receive a full refund our voucher for future visit.

I really felt the pictures was false advertising. The area that the hotel was is was very run down and inside was no different. It’s very dark and gloomy. It definitely needs an upgrade. When I check in the worker at the front desk had to check on our room before he gave us keys. We arrived around 7pm so I didn’t understand why he had to check on a room that should have already been done. Very suspicious! The elevator smelled like urine really bad. When we got to our room the bathtub wasn’t cleaned. We asked for another room but they refused. The sheets had stains on them and we asked for new sheets but once again they didn’t want to change our sheets. Even the toilet was low to the ground. For Breakfast it was very disappointing. They only had cereal, bagels with no toppings for them. And waffle mix for the maker and that’s it. Next door to us they’re were a handful of kids that was making noise all night that I had to call the front desk to report them. You can tell they lived there and no adults was in the room. You can tell the front desk knew them. When we asked for a late check out they advertise on their website that it’s 2pm but they only gave it to us till 1pm for the housekeepers to clean but the way I see it our room wasn’t clean when we got there. Overall it was a horrible experience and I will never stay here again.

Doesn’t serve actual breakfast but cereal and 2 choices of bagels Keep it hot as heck to the point staff even has to take frequent walks out of building in hope to catch a breeze. Needs lots of updates. Every ice machine was broken. Only one staff member (bald guy) at check in showed real hospitality the reason I extended my stay by one day. Ahmad not so much. Definitely not worth the price. Right across from an abandoned homeless ran Popeyes and yes they do make their way to this hotel and ask to go to the bathroom.

This used to be a Holiday Inn, but now it is called the Aspen Grand Hotels. The building is still nice and the interior is holding up for now. The room was dated, but presentable. There appears to be local people living there long term. The kids do not attend school, so they are there all day. The breakfast fare is very limited and taken away by the platefuls by the residents, so we were left with stale, cold cereals, day old toast and luke warm, watered down coffee. This happened every day.
- 5/5
The property is clean and feels safe.
- 4/5
I’ve not had their good as of yet. However the area looked well maintained. Bed and pillows are outstanding. Internet seems fine. I will say there apparently was a window replacement (???)and there was a huge piece of glass near my chair and I also stepped on a tiny piece with my bare feet. I have place both on the desk and have made a photo. The bathroom has mold poorly cleaned and treated. Otherwise this room is comfortable. Clean and very organized. I’d stay again but perhaps not with the mold. I took pictures.
- 5/5
Excellent service at checking in.

This place looks like it had recently changed ownership. No signage on the building and looked quite rundown. The room was clean. The pool was unable to be used though. We were told we could swim in there if we wanted to, but maybe shouldn’t because of the algae. Just average all round.

The staff were quite nice and helpful. The property itself needs maintenance both inside and out. The weekday nights we stayed felt safe but the weekend not so much. People hanging out in the parking lot at all hours of the night. The rooms need a good deep cleaning. The duvets are not clean and we felt the need to disinfect our beds everyday. I guess you get what you pay for.

My cousin and I were getting ready for bed, and when we pulled the covers back, stains and hair all in the bed. The desk clerk came down to change the bedding and take pictures but decided to change our room. That room was just as bad with huge yellow stains on the comforter and with stains on the sheets. He took more pictures; changed the bedding. I told him wanted a refund and to check out but was told the manager could only do that, but he was sleep. So the next day we wait for the manager who the clerk said wasn’t there and then when he started getting phone calls asking for the manager, he called the manager. The manager said he wouldn’t be in until Monday. The clerk then told us that the manager was actually in the room by the elevator and we could wait until he came out. So we did. When he came out, my cousin tried to stop him to discuss the prior night out and get a refund, but he yelled at her saying he was busy and tried to shut the door on her. She caught the door and told him that we wanted to check out but he ignored her. I pulled out my phone and began to record. He ignored us and then I went back to the counter and asked how do we check out. He said only the manager could check us out early because he has no authorization. After other customers were coming down to checkout and complain, the manager came out. He told my cousin either calm down or he wouldn’t talk to us. This is after he caused her reaction. He didn’t check us out, nor refund me.
- 1/5
Check in clerk was rude. Elevator was broken and room was on 3rd floor. My mother recently had a stroke so going up and down the stairs was a nightmare. Bed had a piece of metal hanging out that was covered by bed sham and cut my leg 3 different times. $50 deposit was said to be returned on checkout but that didn't happen then was charged another $50 3days after my stay. Called and was told the funds would be returned and I still haven't received my money back.
- 3/5
It was quiet and the beds were really comfortable. The pool was dirty and the door going out to the pool is broken so you have to walk back around to get back in. There were guys standing out there smoking weed, which I had my daughter and she didn’t need to see that. The toilet was stained black and it rocks back and forth. Overall I’d stay again, they just need to do some maintenance and clean better. There was old food under the corners of bed
- 3.5/5
Elevator was broken when we left so we had to drag our things down the stair well. Not good for senior citizens.

Convenient to the facility I went to.

I didn’t expect this level of unkept/unsafe property at a Holiday Inn. I’ve stayed at their hotels all my life and never seen this. Unmowed grass. Homeless people with their 20 shopping carts and roadside collections just feet away.Police stopping to investigate other homeless people. When I talked to the manager to let him know how I felt as an older woman traveling alone, his initial comment about the unmoved grass (2-3’ high) was “Oh. Are you planning on sleeping in the grass?” I knew then I would have to rely on Expedia to make things right.
- 2/5
That was the worst hotel I have ever stay in room are not clean , bed sheet are dirty with hairs all over room stuffing I can never refere that place to any one
- 3/5
close to work assignment location toilet handle did not work, housekeeping did not remove last customers washcloth from hanging over the showerhead, mattress was not comfortable (could feel the springs), and check-in took over 15 minutes. price is too high
- 5/5
The property was excellent and nearby the area of business. Of course, the rooms may need to repair their treadmills and refrigerators. Otherwise, the experience was awesome overall. Thank you, and be safe out there.

Old dirty bathtub and broken shower hose and no soap for showering at the time very disappointed!
- 1/5
The hotel is old and need work done. Bathroom water was pooling as it was not draining down pipe. Furnitures are old, TV had no remote to access other channels - owners should do major uplift in upgrading facility.

Upon arrival reception was very nice, no issue, room clean and comfortable. Upon leaving 4:45am reception was very general, thank for coming and have a safe trip back

I didnt like the area at all.
- 1/5
The first room assigned to us smelled so horrible I refused to stay in it. Smelled like bar room smoke and looked like a crack house. Moved rooms…smell was better but pillow cases and bed linens appeared to have blood on them!?!? Bathroom had a dirty towel w who knows what was stained on it. One set of towels were dingy like towels we retire to our shop and disgusting stains in the shower…I had to go to the front desk for more bath towels and clean linens. The only reason I stayed is it was booked thru a 3rd party and I knew I would not get a refund…this experience ruined it for me thinking Holiday Inn Express means cleanliness!
- 3/5
First room i was given the tiolet was stopped up and the sheets on one of the beds werent clean. Got moved to a second room and it had a smell, then the guest over us was so loud until a little before midnight.

Both rooms I was switched to were dirty. Blood on the bed and blood on the shower curtains. The tubs and the mirrors were dirty.
- 1/5
Very terrible hotel to stay. Most of the things were broken.
- 3/5
Allegedly no smoking a hotel but the room still smelled like cigarettes smoke. Fortunately, you got used to it. Were great. Towels sucked. Complementary breakfast Was very meh. Pancake machine was broken, no cream cheese bagels, but they have delicious
- 1/5
The service TERRIBLE all around. I walked into my room to find a Cincinnati Red’s hat on the desk and had to tell the front desk about it. There was no towel in my room when I checked in and realized that after I had to wipe my hand on my clothes. The worse thing that happened was after showering and drying off with one of the hotel towels I found a used bandaid on my back. I have a photo of it all and turned it into the front desk as well.
- 1/5
We showed up at 2:45 and waited over 10 mins and no one came to the front desk. When we came back at 3:30 the nice lady at the desk helped us. However the room was not ready. As she was trying to help us she was yelling back and forth with the cleaning crew on the second floor. When we got into a room it was dirty. I went to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work. No dial tone nothing and was sticky with black stuff on it. We had to get the pillows changed due to them having make up stains and mystery strains on them, the microwave did not work, the bathroom was not swept, the mirror was not cleaned, there was something gooey on the counter top of the bathroom. The remote did not have a cover on the batteries so they kept popping out. There was a gross stain on the side of the bed, a gross smudge of something blood like on the wall. The office chair was peeling apart so bad it cut the back of my leg. I have pictures for all this.
- 5/5
I really liked that the property was very quiet & low key. The staff greeted me well & was very nice & respectful.
- 4/5
The Manager was outstanding, as long as he’s at this location I would definitely be a guest in this hotel.
- 3/5
The door to the room squeaked very loudly and there were flashing red and blue lights as well as very bright property lights that shone in the window all night and only shear curtains covering the window so no way to darken the room!
- 1/5
I had reserved 5 rooms from this hotel and it was a nightmare. One of the rooms, when we walked in, there was someone in the room. The other room had ants on the bed. The other room had BLACK MOLD growing under their desk. This was by far the most terrifying hotel for us to stay in. Please save your money and go elsewhere. This place is NOT safe and should have someone come in for a health inspection especially after seeing black mold growing on their walls.
- 1/5
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Blood on sheets, bugs in the rooms. Breakfast was horrible.
- 1/5
They sold us a room for 2 nights after the hurricane hit. We were displaced. We booked it 2 full days in advance. They scalped us with 3 x what they normally charge and we showed up to find out they never had power since early Monday morning. Never called or told us anything. By that time there was no way to find another room anywhere. Horrible
- 1/5
In my 4th night of my stay I came back to park my car there was a gentleman working at front desk try to prevent me from parking my car because he didn’t believe that I was a guess in the hotel.
- 1/5
This has to be the absolute worst Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed at. Check in took a long time and the elevator was slow. Lighting in the bathroom was poor. Hotel seemed old and run down. Parking lot was sketchy. Trash and all over the parking lot including beer cans and condem boxes. Grass was unkept and looked sloppy. Hardly any towels in bathroom. Door wouldn’t not lock completely. This is more like a motel.
- 5/5
It was so easy to check in
- 2/5
Property needs to be cleaner and updated. Several things broken- ice machine, card reader on door, pancake machine
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly Andre, who worksThe front desk is amazing but for the amount of money we payyed for the rooms, it was not up to par with Holiday Inn standards, overall the stay was just ok for me
- 1/5
Hidden location, sketchy, felt unsafe. Changed rooms 3x due to A/C failure. Only 2 channels worked, paper thin towels, dingy towels, NO ice machines worked, pool water was dirty too. Employees not very helpful. I would not stay there EVER !!!

*Stayed 2 nights & Room was not cleaned the following day. *Desk clerk was not very courteous. *Coffee was lukewarm out of the pot. *Cockroach in bathroom *Caulking around tub done by cheap, uncaring labor.

When we checked in the room they gave us was already occupied by someone else. We originally booked 2 Queens an was given a King due to over booking.. Limited parking, parking in the back horrible lighting an area behind hotel is a homeless community.. Room has wasps an roaches.

The property is ill maintained and untidy with a foul smell coming especially from the 1st floor rooms. The property needs an immediate replacement of carpet. I won’t recommend this property to anyone. The blanket has foot marks on it. The bed has iron rods sticking out from it.

Where should I start? The property seemed fine checking in. Nothing out of the ordinary. Got to our room and realized the TV in the room remote control didn’t work. For just me, this wouldn’t be an issue, but I was traveling with my daughter and granddaughter, so a TV with a working remote was essential. Called front desk and they told us to come get a remote from the front desk to try. That remote didn’t work, so we called back down and they gave us a 3rd remote…. That also didn’t work. After a few calls to the front desk, they agreed to move us to another room. We moved to other room which was literally right by the front desk. No problem. When we got in the room.. I had a sense that someone used the room, but the room was “clean”, so no complaints. Upon being in the room a few hours, we start to see roache(s)! That’s right not a roach, A FEW OF THEM! But ok, this is just a weekend stay and we’d only be there another full day and then leave. My daughter meets up with some friends, so it’s just the granddaughter and I in the room. I didn’t put the extra lock on the door thinking she’d be coming in at some time and would need to be able to get in. Around 630A someone enters the room and turns on the lights… I assume it’s my daughter since she’s the other person that should have access. I open my eyes from my sleep and see it is the front desk person walking in my room while we are still sleep. I raise my head and said “hi” and he immediately apologizes and backs out (and leav
- 2/5
The air didn't work it was 83• in the building. I reserved a handicap room since I'm in a wheelchair they could not accommodate me. Even though it was specified with the reservation. I had to use a cup to relieve myself since i could not get in the restroom. They wouldn't honor my military discount because of the Rodeo. I am in a wheelchair and was given a room on the 3rd floor at the end of the hall. Lastly the club next door Patriots took up all the available parking and we had to park next door.
- 5/5
Everything was just perfect! Great front desk service as well thank you guys !
- 3/5
We checked in on Wednesday and checked out Monday. During the stay, trash was never empty so I had to come down and ask ed for room service policy. They said laundry will be every 3rd day and trash empty daily. It was 4th day but nothing happened. They did come in everyday to change towels though. The toilet made very loud noise, like a sea lion and water was running the whole entire time. AC was very loud too. Breakfast is free and hot breakfast was served so that's the only positive compliment. I will try a new hotel next time
- 3/5
I closed the bathroom door off from the rest of the room then left for a few minutes—upon return & after calling about it a second time; the desk personnel came & sprayed a scent neutralizer. Horrible ordeal.
- 3/5
Waited at least 10 mins before someone came to the desk so people could check in. Time was about 2000-2030 and I was second in line. Room was fine and god but breakfast was a joke! It seems like they only put out 1 full tray of all the hot items and that was it, never refilled anything! This is a total let down and by far the worse I've had at a Holiday Inn Express, definitely won't be back here ever! 😠
- 1/5
Upon arrival the front desk clerk was very rude. We checked into our rooms and realized the TV was not working properly. The front desk clerk was contacted and he came up to the room with an even worse attitude and basically said it was nothing he could do. He did not even offer to change rooms not provide me with someone in IT who could assist (if that is an option). I typically don't stay in Holiday Inns and this is why! I have contacted Orbitz which is who I booked with to get some type of resolutions. I hope IHG offers a training program for associates as it relates to customer service because it is VERY much needed for this front desk clerk.

Property is in a busy area near several businesses.
- 1/5
The hotel experience is exceptionally poor; it's 4:20 am, and there's still considerable noise disturbance.
- 2/5
The room had roaches in it
- 2/5
The room wasnt fully set up for me to check in, it was missing a few ammenities. There was someone screaming and cussing in the lobby in the morning, breakfast was terrible.
- 3/5
Pretty average service at the front.
- 3/5
Not stocked, no coffee or cups. Old furniture, shabby looking. The front desk person knocked on the door whole I was in the bathroom, then came in, he had the wrong room. When I checked in he said my card was declined, just didn’t seem like he was trained well.
- 5/5
A real nice hotel with a really great breakfast. Staff were all great. The area is hard to get around if you dont have a car.
- 5/5
This hotel was so nice and comfortable we ended staying another night. The breakfast was awesome with plenty of variety to choose from as well as the menu changing daily. The staff were all nice and very helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel
- 5/5
Nice and easy to use and very friendly
- 1/5
First room they gave me was not cleaned and it was also an ADA room. Second room they gave me the AC did not work.
- 2/5
Not good at this time
- 3/5
Very poor customer service
- 4/5
The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. Consider the price per value, this is an amazing hotel and I would definitely stay again. The only thing to improve is that the cabinet and the bench are old with stain on them, but that did not affect a good night sleep!
- 5/5
The bathroom floor was wet and the bath mat was damp. We were given a new room. One of the lamps was missing a switch, there was a hole where it should have been.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staffs at the front desk.
- 5/5
Liked it
- 3/5
I think it is rather pathetic that this hotel would not provide decaffeinated coffee for its guests. Even motels with much lower ratings have decaf. If you want decaf here, you need to pack your own K cups. For a business which is in the hospitality industry, it rates poor in hospitality
- 3/5
I was very disappointed that there was no decaffeinated coffee, none at breakfast and none of the K cups provided in the room were available in decaffeinated. Even lesser rated motels have this amenity and I do not understand why Holiday Inn choses not to have this for their guests. If this is something you want, bring your own or choose a different hotel.
- 1/5
Toilet ran all night, loud AC, worst holiday inn I ever stayed at, doors do not close properly so from 6am & on you hear doors slamming. No sleep. Towels dingy looking. Will never stay here again.

The front desk was extremely rude. Their system was having problems and tried to charge my card twice. They closed the pool early and was rude about us wanting to swim. The pool was nasty with globs of hair and algae and mold and the water was not clean. The bathroom ceiling was leaking and they acted as if it was no big deal. The a/c did not cool. It’s august and it’s hot. Overall was just a horrible visit

They play games in the hotel the manager was extremely rude and conniving. I tried reserve a room and pay only when I arrive at the property. This was an option offered to me by the hotel. They charged for two days before I arrived at the property. I asked for the refund since the option offered to me was pay once I check in at the property they refused. My bank is currently disputing the charges

Over all it is a good hotel to stay in needs a little more of maintenance in the pool area but still enjoyed the stay.

The elevator was making a terrible loud noise, nobody cared. Bug in the room. Bed linen not changed for the entire stay. Breakfast food finished before the scheduled time. Very terrible. Staffs don’t understand English at all.

wow what can i say the room had poop in the toilet, old worn out towel's, Electric plugs that didn't work. Tub was not draining at all. The front desk told us that they could not change rooms due to the fact we book through a third party...... WoW i could no believe this happen at this location. So Booking through hotels.com mean nothing to this property. they want us to book through them from now on to get a better room wow.

The property is clearly older but it's kept up really well. The staff was very helpful and nice and I enjoyed my stay.
