The location and price were excellent! The beds and pillows were confortable. We stayed on the hotel for three nights but nobody came to clean it during our whole stay there. They didn't even provide new toilet paper. There was rat poop on the room.

The location was easy to access and not far from many local spots. Pool was closed for my stay. No one told us the pool was closed upon check in. We walked past the front desk in swim suits with our towels and got told nothing. There were no signs on the pool. After I had gotten in the pool a hotel employee came out and told me the pool had too many chemicals in it for me to swim. There should have been a sign letting us know the pool was closed. The fact the pool was closed was already incredibly disappointing but the fact that my health was put at risk was beyond disappointing. No hot water for our showers. Had to request a trash can as there was none in the room. Breakfast was dry muffins and cereal, that’s it.

Once I arrived I greeted with enthusiasm, room was clean and parking was easy to enter and exit.

My stay was terrible. My room key kept getting demagnetized and one of my days there I was locked out of my room the whole day because my rooms keys wouldn’t work. The sink in the bathroom was broken as well so my 2 nights staying there I had to brush my teeth either in the bathtub or I had to use a bottle of water. There was also no WiFi so I couldn’t even use my laptop that I brought with me. Also one of the lamps in the room was broken and one of the painting that was hanging on the wall ended up falling into one of the beds. Overall I didn’t enjoy my stay at the hotel at all

If you are not going to serve breakfast, please do not market that you do offer breakfast and take down all the signs inside the hotel stating breakfast times. That is very poor marketing and management. The side door in our hallway that allowed access to the parking lot was not locked and had a rock propping the door open. This is a large security concern for patrons. Furthermore, the pictures hanging in our room almost fell on us. Quite literally, it fell off of the wall without anyone touching it. Please do better and improve these outlined items.

The water pressure was extremely low for a shower, and one of the beds were pushed so close to the wall that we couldnt walk on the side of it even though the room had more than enough space. We didnt even feel comfortable trying the breakfast because of the roaches that we saw and we were on the third floor. Oh, and we couldnt even close our bathroom door. It wouldnt latch. Smelled like marijuana, elevator broken, hard mattress, broken shower knob, staff was very rude!

The door to the room was misaligned so the security lock didnt work. The cover for the peephole was not on the door. The window was not locked securely when I entered the room. There was a main light in the bathroom lighting the mirror area that was glutching out indicating an electrical problem. The bedside lampndid not have a bulb in it. When I brought the lock to the atyentuom of the front desk man he had the nerve to ask if it was broken before or after I got into the room.

It was clean, chill, not in a super busy area-yet close to a lot. People around were nosey but that happens everywhere.

0/10 do NOT recommend—avoid this place. Hallways and elevator reeked of cigarette and weed smoke. Did not receive any housekeeping (fresh towels, trash removal, beds made) over the entire 5-day stay. There are NO amenities. The “breakfast included” consisted of dry cereal and mini muffins that were gone by 8AM. The gate to the pool area was broken. The hot water in our room went on and off. The floors in the room felt unclean barefoot, the curtains were broken/couldn’t fully close, the closet doors were broken and no hangers were functional. Most alarmingly, one morning there was a person sleeping on the floor in the “ice machine” area (there was not actually an ice machine) on the second floor. Staff didn’t seem concerned by any of this. The whole vibe of the place felt off.

Owner and staff corrected all issues, and took the effort to make sure item was corrected, in one case, and conveyed in more detail in the other. The response was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again.

Checking out and going home The breakfast was that of a joke no eggs or waffles nothing remotely close to the continental breakfast at the other properties i stay at on the monthly basis for work. How ever I won't return to this property and not get offerd the same breakfast of the other properties period something unexpected would have to happen on the part of the owner to make this right before I would consider staying at that property again

The room was not very clean upon arrival. I requested extra towels for my children, and the front desk manager was rude and told me housekeeping would bring them in the morning. We stayed for three days and never saw housekeeping, nor was our room ever cleaned. I ended up having to buy towels from a nearby Walmart. On top of that, my room key locked me out every morning even though my stay was paid in full. The property felt very run-down and overall filthy. This was an extremely frustrating experience, and I will not be staying here again.

There was a bad smell everywhere, front desk, corridor, elevator and in the room. The room was very smelly. We bought an air freshener and stayed. We couldn't sleep well because of the smell and started getting headaches. The faucet in the sink wasn't working. Water was leaking everywhere. The sign outside the room said no smoking, but there was smoking everywhere. My family members were very disappointed. I would like my money back.

So, while I can't speak on behalf of what the hotel itself was like, I can say that they are greedy and don't care about their customers. Rates weren't bad but not good when I couldn't get a refund!

2nd room-when I showered & tried the hairdryer it was broken. I went to the front desk & got another dryer, but when plugged in it smoked & spit out fire! Front desk said it was new! I told him it was a fire hazard. He said he will need time to find another. Never heard back. My daughter bought one at a local store. When we got back that evening the front hotel door wouldn’t open. A guest literally picked it up and moved it sideways to open it. The back door was propped open by a rag so people would come in and out at will. The room itself was clean so we opted to stay. I would not stay there again. Not what I’d expected from a Wyndham property.

I wasn’t able to make this stay after a family passing occurred in the family, I tried reaching out multiple times and not a single response from the location. While grieving that last thing you’d want to focus on is matters like these so I was very upset and overwhelmed with everything going on

First the door wont open with the card they gave it took a day before it was fixed. Carpet in the hallways are dirty and smells needs to replace with wood or tile. Continental breakfast the same everyday no variation. Guy at the front desk stays at the back leaves the desk you have to call then he comes out. Check in slow. Needs a lot of improvement.

I stayed at Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston / West Energy Corridor and was very disappointed. The property was dirty and noisy, and what they called “breakfast” was nothing more than small cupcakes, cold coffee, and some kids’ colored cornflakes placed on a dirty table. Overall, the place is poorly maintained and not worth staying at.

Bed sheets were dirty, no trash can in the room, no remote control to the TV, bathroom floor was dirty. I could not sleep on the bed, didn't want to use the bathroom for anything. Terrible experience, never had this experience.

The staff was alright overall. However, I did notice they seemed a bit unhappy when I requested simple items like a pen. It would be better if they were more welcoming and helpful with such requests. One thing that could be improved is communication about the key policy. We weren't informed that the keys are changed daily, which caused some confusion when our key stopped working on the last day. We only realized this when we tried to use the door and had to go to the front desk for assistance, which was inconvenient, especially since our room was located near the back exit. Another aspect that could be improved is the availability of towels at the front desk. We ran out of towels and asked for more, but the staff directed us to the janitor, who informed us they were running out. It would make for a better guest experience if towels were more readily available at the reception area. Overall, the hotel served its purpose with a decent location and basic amenities.

This hotel refused to give me a refund after the place smelled like weed and they refused to clean up. The “manager” was supposedly sick the entire week so they couldn’t call. Terrible service, trashy hotel, even worse smell.

The staff was nice. They are remodeling. But the only thing I didn’t like that the water pressure was low and I found a bug in the room, other than that everything else was okay I guess.

Patel is very professional and helpful. Check-in was easy and there was no deposit when paying with my credit card. Rooms are newly refreshed, clean, and comfy. It will be my go to when I am working in this area.

The walk ways are so dirty, smells, and unkempt. Even though a renovation is taking place, they should keep the walk ways clean and free of smell.

There were residents laying out side the property I requested a refund and went to stay at a property that was clean smelling and I felt safe. I felt as tho if i left for the night, my room would have gotten broken into. This property is all false advertisement and should refund me my monies. I will NEVER stay or refer anyone to this property or company. This is BAD BUSINESS. I rented a room solely to get some rest but was hard to when I had a dog barking waking me up at 5 am both stays and the front desk claimed it was a service animal but I didn’t buy it and also people talking/screaming at their children. Hair was found on toilet seat and outside the toilet bowl, had hair glue on the blanket, roaches and couch had stains so I did not sit in the sitting area..

Very nasty… soon as I walked at front entrance I knew this was going to be terrible. Cigarettes butts was all at front entrance door. Checked in at 3:00pm checked out at 3:07pm . Checked in went to room and food was still I refrigerator, used bottle of water on table , couch wore out with stains on it . The floors were nasty and bathrooms . So I took the stairs down and lord it smelled like a pit in the stair wells…. Not recommended…

After seeing the reviews others have left on expedia.com I was told during those reviews not that could be possible paint fumes, I was getting myself to be very alert on such problem. When I was assigned a room on the bottom level low and behold the first thing I smelled was paint. I asked for a different room and was giving an upper level room. There's so many problems with his room but are you kept it anyway such as lots of holes on the sofa due to people either secretly smoking inside the bedroom. Also the sheets are really old

I became ill and was hospitalized because of the strong fumes from new paint in our room. We went to the front desk and they said they had no other rooms left. After contacting the manager they agreed to move us. We stood in the hall with our luggage for almost 2 hours waiting for a manager to approve our room change! Also notice was slipped underneath the door by management about roaches and an exterminator coming out the next day!!

Dark & Dingy hotel and room (#212), poor internet, had only one chair which was broken, no sofa or couch to use, although it was listed during reservation but found just an empty space in the room where the sofa was supposed to be, very noisy, could hear people walking and yelling at each other in the corridor, loud music from the adjacent room (#210) until 2:00AM, woke up to loud noises from room upstairs, had paid for two nights stay but quit the place the next day foregoing the second night's stay, felt quite unsafe and extremely uncomfortable, reception is poorly staffed, just one guy trying to run the whole place, had to go looking for the receptionist to check out.. will never ever stay at this hotel again and also warn everyone about this place. I am also extremely disappointed and feel cheated to see this hotel listed on expedia.. never expected to find such an unsafe and horrible hotel listed on expedia..

The room didn't have clothes hanger and the table lamp was missing a lightbulb. I went to tell the front desk, but he didn't believe me. I told him to send someone to fix the lamp or replace the light bulb, but no one came to our room. The room is a little dark since it missed the lightbulb. The sofa bed smells and the mattress is very dirty. Midnight people talking on the hallway made noise and scared.

This property is filthy. Right when we walked in there was trash on the floor surrounding the front desk. Styrofoam cups, scraps of paper strewn around, a plastic bag with empty food wrappers. The front desk attendant was basically hidden from view sitting behind the desk leaning way back in his chair with his feet kicked up, playing on his phone. He quickly had us checked in with zero conversation or information except handing over the key and stating “take a left, and your room is on the 3rd floor”. The room is disgusting. There are dead bugs smashed into every wall, slimy brown stains on practically every surface, the couch looks like it needs to go to the dump and is extremely stained. We never touched it.

My refrigerator in the room never work stayed their for 3 days in room 205..The rooms are really nice but drapes need changing moldy and bed was not comfy..I was surprised free breakfast only muffin and dry cereal..Thats pricey 80.00 night...Housekeeping like to knock on your door before check out time.. Horrible hotel! As soon as we got inside, it smelled musty. There seemed to be no a/c or ventilation in common areas & it was filthy. The room we were assigned to had black mold on the curtains above the A/C unit. We requested for a refund, but they declined & assigned us a keycard to another room. When we opened the 2nd room, we were surprised to see that it was occupied! Again, we requested a refund but they only assigned us a 3rd room. When we went inside, the beds were soiled & stained and there was a live cockroach in the tub. We walked out of the hotel - no way will we be sleeping there.

Property corridors stink ,very dirty, on arrival door wasn’t not functioning, took a longer time for a technician to fix it, room was not cleaned after requesting for room to be cleaned several times, towels were not given I had to ask several times before they gave me towels, my linens were changed after two days of lodging, room was cleaned after two days as well, I had to ask several times for my room to be cleaned and had it cleaned around 4 pm , and the janitor didn’t put any towels, she just placed two wash clothes, very poor service I won’t come back

I used to work for this property and wanted to stay here. Time i walked in the room there were baby roaches in the restroom. I qent down stairs to switch rooms across the hall and there were more roaches. I decided to leave and to get refunded and i only got half of a refund. That is jist disgusting and wrong to allow such filth and try to keep my money.

The smell of dogs and cats in the hallway made it nauseous to walk into my room. I wish I had know beforehand of booking.

The head of housekeeping and front desk girl are absolutely the highlight of the property, These girls are the epitome of hospitality. This just proves how a place could have cosmetic issues but with the right attitude makes up for it
