Wasn’t what I expected no onsite help

Although everything was super clean, there is definitely a lack of a maintenance person. Like the minor things that need adjustment over time.

My rooms where clean and the swimming pools was also clean.

i lovedd the staff, everyone is so respectful and they don’t make you feel out of place at all. breakfast is amazing. as well as the indoor pool. i would absolutely book here again if i ever go to houston.

I had reserved a room with a king sized bed. Instead I got a queen sized bed. They said they had run out of king sized rooms. They said the change in room types was actually an upgrade since the queen bed had a separate room. That’s not an upgrade for me. I was traveling with my sister so we are more comfortable in a king bed than in a queen. This hotel is very “worn down”. Tired old furniture, chipped and rusty. It smelled musty. There were nats in the room. The fire alarm went off and when asked at the front desk they told us a child had pulled it. I guess you get what you pay for and I used my credit card points - I WANT MY POINTS BACK!

Was a great location with awesome facilities. The indoor pool was a nice touch for the kids and gave us an activity to do in the rain. Great staff, very helpful! A bit dated and some rust in the restroom facilities. Also, with a kitchen being provided I think some initial basics like a couple of bottled waters and non-perishable individual condiments would add value.

Size of rooms and front desk were great You don’t offer dbl beds in the suites, the lightning in the room, and being told that they clean every other day and never got our room clean. We were supposed to get clean towel broght up every day and we would get back to no clean towels but had to walk back down stairs to get them p Ourselves

Close to shopping mall, tucked away & quiet, restful stay with family.

Is heated we was able to swim The room we was in kept having issues , we had our kids to , we call The front desk they said they can move us we had already unpacked everything they fix the first problem then boom second the day the toliet mess up they had to come out again in fix it then by this time all the other rooms was booked the 3rd day the toilet went completely out we had to use the downstairs restroom I’m 9 months pregnant walking up and down the hallways the staff was really nice just the hotel need some upgrades

if you want to sleep well, don't get room 100. the traffic on that side of the room is noisy. every time we got back to our room, it smelled musty. bring an air freshener or maybe hotel can provide one.

The pool and the hotel itself was clean

The breakfast was good. The rooms definitely need an upgrade and the bathrooms could be more clean. I saw rusted out pipes connected to the toilet. It just wasn't pleasant to see.

Breakfast was good , lady at the breakfast area was very accommodating and nice. Check in staff can use a little smile, our rooms didn’t have body was and hair conditioner, we requested but never got it the whole stay , no kettle to warm water in the room, rooms will be better with wood floor instead of carpet. Great reception, kind and supportive staff, amazing breakfast, excellent location, peaceful. The grill is great place and facility for family chill out. The Basketball court needs update. Water pooling in the court makes the court unpleasant.

The best stay I have ever had. The check in was so easy, the whole staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and big and clean. The indoor pool and basketball court was a plus. If you’re in the Houston area or near by areas this is the place for you to stay. 1000/100 recommend.

A rather run-down accommodation with cockroaches and beetles in the room. The air conditioning was extremely loud, making sleep impossible – and not only for that reason. I cut my stay short and booked a different hotel.

The staff was lovely, but after four nights, was woken up at 11:30 p.m., and then 6:00 a.m. by a dog barking in one of the other rooms next to mine. asked if I could get comped a night, I was only given points. frustrating.

Amazing staff and super clean. They were super kind and they made sure I had a pleasant stay!

Convenient to the event we were attending. AC unit was in the bedroom and it was loud. Also, operation of TV’s was a bit awkward due to the remote control wasn’t easy to operate. Seemed somewhat confusion to select channels to watch and the TV’s seemed to shutdown after a certain time of night.

Was denied service. Since I got upset about your front desk clerk charging my credit card 4 times. The credit card company actually called while I was in front of the clerk to ask what was going on. I have stayed at this pkace several times and never had this kind of problem. Was charged one last time and clerk stated everything went through but I was not allowed to stay. Then turned ariund and refunded my card. Why even charge my card in the first place if you are not going to let me stay after I got upset for all of her charges to my card.

This property was very outdated, the rooms are muggy and The room smelled like there was mildew and the shower was very dated. The ceiling showed there had been water damage and it was painted over.

The staff was truly kind. The room was very exquisite. I loved the walk-in shower. The mirror was very beautiful, even my grandson loved the mirror. I was very impressed. I have stayed in a few hotels and I would have to say that this one is the best so far. Thank you for making us feel comfortable, even my service dog.

The rooms smells really really bad. We went to Bath and Body Works and bought concentrate room spray and a couple of candles which made a big difference.

Overall experience was great, the staff was very friendly and inviting. The only cons were that the bathroom shower drain was slow so water collected at your feet during a shower and I did not understand the parking fee. Usually parking fees are for areas that are tightly compacted and this place was located in a place that I would not expect to pay a fee. It is next to a closed down restaurant and maybe they used the fee for security, I am not sure. Otherwise the hotel itself was great.

Absolutely perfect and the young lady that was working the counter when I got there at 8 o’clock was outstanding and very helpful and very polite. The rooms are just set up perfectly wished I could’ve stayed there the whole week but they had some kind of convention in town and I had to stay somewhere else, but at least I got one day there

I actually really liked the room, facilities, staff, and everything the room had. The room was huge and very nice. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The only issue I had, which is minor is the air I found did not cool efficiently for the setting it was on. Very minor though. It is the middle of summer. All in all, loved staying there.

Lezlie was the best part of the stay. Very informative, professional and sweet from the beginning to the end. Bed could’ve been a little more comfortable other than that everything else was great.

I didn't like the fact the property did not have a generator. Nor did the property had a hurricane plan to move forward. They provided no tips or tools to survive.

Appreciated the security cameras in the parking lot. The breakfast was well stocked, clean presentation and offered a balanced meal. Building is a bit older, so not such a clean feel. Overall a nice stay and will likely book here again in the future.

Suites were great layout and very clean. Property was close location to get to highway and also Willowbrook Mall and several eateries are nearby. Only issue was pool was being serviced so not open. Otherwise good location, friendly staff and hot breakfast options in AM.

I always read reviews and I take them with a grain of salt. But when there is a pattern of negative reviews, I take notice. I hope anyone reading this that is considering this hotel finds another. We were a party of 3 and booked a suite for 3 nights. The room smelled awful! Like mildew or something rank. They didn’t have any other rooms available. So we bought Febreze and used almost the whole can to be able to sleep at night (that first night was rough!) and also sprayed before we left for an outing so that we wouldn’t walk into the funk. If that wasn’t bad enough, we were also responsible for getting our own towels AND setting our trash outside the door of our room. We also walked by other rooms with their trash bags outside their door. Lastly, the guest upstairs were noisy all hours of the night. It sounded like they were bowling. We called at least twice about the noise and were told they would investigate but nothing was ever done. I asked for a discount due to the horrible smell and inconvenience of trying to mask the smell ourselves along with the other issues, but not only did I not get a discount, I was charged much more than I expected…and yes, I knew about the $12 daily charge for parking. And cleanliness is a 3 out of 5. I will never stay here again.

Not what i remember of a residence hotel or any Marriott hotel stays I’ve ever had. For day one all 3 tvs were defective and being as though they were sold out no room changes in a my suite size. WiFi doesn’t work at all!! For a person being in town on business this is terrible. Day 2 maintenance man in and out of the room all day while we were trying to work, WiFi still poor the whole stay. Front desk woman has an attitude for some odd reason as if she paid for this, charged for parking which is ridiculous since there is barely parking spots and what found disturbing was sign that states they are not responsible if my car is broken into or stolen. When asked for a discount on my stay i was told since i booked through Expedia no updates could be made. That’s funny because at check out i was told i could be so which one is it? Kids running through the halls all hours. Behind the beds are trash cleaning crews i guess didn't want to clean. Room couldn’t even be properly serviced by room service because she didnt speak English or could understand us. Never again i will be contacting Expedia about this. Never again could get better at a motel 6. Mind you you get charged a $150 incidental fee after already spending about $500. Never again!!!! Please beware folks!!

This property was immaculately cleaned! We got the 2br suite with the fireplace and what a quiet safe and comfortable space to vacation! Kitchen was stocked! The housekeepers were amazing! Front desk SHE ROCKS SOOOO MUCH SHE WAS HELPFUL CARING AND COMPASSIONATE! Will book again and again and again! The Residence always gets it right!

This Residence Inn is not like others we stayed at usually with the 2 bedroom the kitchen is a full kitchen this property didnt come with a stove. I was told one has to be requested as they only have 3 for the 2 bdrms.. Will not return!

I slept easy in a very quit place

The first 2 nights the smoke/fire alarm was going off due to being faulty so unfortunately 2 nights of minimal sleep but i understand certain things are out of peoples control.

The staff here is awesome! The continental breakfast was good , great location , and spacious rooms.

We stayed overnight for a quick family visit. We got a 2 bedroom suite and it was the perfect size and very comfortable for the amount of people with who we were traveling. The room we stayed in could use a small tuneup. The toilet paper holder was lose and fell off the wall, the doors could use a good scrub and fresh paint but overall it was clean, the staff was friendly, the bed was comfy, shower was great, breakfast was perfect and I would definitely return again.

This was one of the worse hotels I have stayed. Outdated and dirty but the staff was really nice.

I stayed in a two bedroom suite on the third floor. The room was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed the two bathrooms two bedrooms, as well as the sofa sleeper. The kitchen was amazing and fully stocked.

Everything was fine, but I didnt like how the deposit was $50 a night for incidentals for 3 nights. Then the next day charged me $40 for parking and I thought that would be taken out of the incidentals but it wasn't.

Property was well kept and staff is super friendly. Only thing that sucks is you have to pay for parking.
