    Room was of ok quality. The mattress was good and the bed was clean. But our tub needed resurfacing and it leaked loudly all night. Even with the door closed. Holes in the curtains and limited staff that left fetching towels and sheets up to you. I wouldn’t call the place horrible, but I’ve seen Marriott do better. The staff was helpful with what they had, but…I get it. 3/5

    First day a cockroach charged at me wings out and everything. 5 minutes later we found an already dead cockroach. The next night we’re in bed falling asleep and a cockroach crawls on my boyfriend’s face, he kills this one too. We pack our stuff immediately and while we’re leaving we see a fourth cockroach running from the kitchen to under the couch. Plus two giant spiders in the corners of the room. Now I have a lump on my back that looks like a bite but I’m not sure from what. We left halfway through our stay. We were disgusted by this place. The man who checked us in was great, the man I turned my key into couldn’t care less. Never asked why we were leaving just asked for my key and said I could leave. No refund or anything for the missed days.

    Room was decent but I barely saw housekeeping , I had garbage in my room for the entire stay only saw housekeeping 1 time , the pool was extremely dirty , false advertisement, I was not able to use the pool , staff were decent , but I didn’t get any accommodation at all , there are people living in the hotel

    Just the Location was good When we arrived to checking in, the staff who did not give bum about us, told us that they have cancelled our reservation to give priority to their own bookings (directly not by booking.com) and since we have booked vie third party (booking.com) it was our problem.

    Loved the staff. It's in a perfect location with good security and a big grocery next door. But this hotel needs paint and repairs. It's really run down. Sadly. Although the faucets will take filters, the connections under the kitchen sink fails on the back pressure, flooding out the kitchen. Filters are important to me so I won't stay in this hotel again until that is fixed. I'm allergic to chlorine and fluoride.

    The room was clean, towels, no handicap though, we made it work. We ordered a coffee pot, someone may have taken, stolen it,. The front office brought one right away. There was a bug in room, only one that we saw. It looked like the room had been painted and redone. I would definitely recommend it to others. The continental breakfast was good.

    as I approached my room 235 the door looked as if it had been broken in near where the locks are and from the inside you could actually see the the locks, with this being said I would use furniture to block the door as I didnt feel safe. Next we have the refrigerator, the steel was tarnished and peeling however the inside was made of clear plastic shelving thank God. Speaking of fridge this is what really behooved me I missed house keeping because I was in the shower and I had the sign outside my door so I called front desked and asked if they could just change my linen on the bed no cleaning. This was all ok according to front desk. I stepped out for shopping and when I arrived back housekeeping had left fresh linen and fresh towels on the sofa so now I work for Marriott. I then proceeded to put my unfinished lunch in the fridge when I notice my unfinished bottle of Morgan David wine, and grilled shrimp from the night before were gone however my mixed fruit, 2 bottles of water and 1 can of Redbull were still there. There were several other issues with this room as well as the property I took pictures unfortunately cant post here. Please check reviews before booking here.

    2. housekeeping threw away my prescription medication, even though it was in its original packaging and placed inside a large plastic bag. As a result, I felt physically unwell during my stay. 3. I placed my quilt on the sofa, but housekeeping assumed I no longer needed it and removed it, leaving me with only a thin bedsheet at night. I was very cold and could not sleep properly. 4. my medicine were placed by housekeeping in the lower compartment of the bedside table where slippers are stored, which made them dirty and unusable. 5. both the bathroom door and the room door are very old and difficult to open and close, adding further inconvenience to the stay. 6. Renovation in the neighboring room started early in the morning, with constant hammering noises and a strong paint smell. I was unable to rest, and after waking up I felt dizzy and unsteady on my feet, likely due to the fumes. Despite the seriousness of this situation, the front desk showed no apologetic attitude at all. Even more concerning, the hotel manager did not come to inspect the site personally and only sent other staff to take a look, which reflects very poor management and lack of concern for guest safety.

    Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing. The jacuzzi was advertised but the water was cold and unusable. The kitchen was essentially nonfunctional, as there were no pots or pans provided at all. The bathtub faucet was constantly running and appeared to have a plumbing issue. I stayed for two nights, and on the second night the air conditioning completely stopped working, which made the room very uncomfortable. The hallways had an overwhelming and unpleasant air freshener smell. To make matters worse, there was no ice machine available on the property. Overall, this hotel fell well below basic expectations, and I would not stay here again.

    Upon check in at around 8pm I was told there is no water in the building and would be "fixed" in about 15 min. Room was smelly. Shower dirty. Thin walls you can hear your neighbors. Hospitality non existent. The check in personnel kept pointing things on the hotel completing ignoring my request to just point out where I should go. Check out personnel very impersonal. The location was concenient. That being said the girl who worked at the desk on sunday noon time was very friendly. I hope she finds a more professional environment to work.

    I purchased a room this past Saturday night for this hotel via hotels.com. When I showed up at the property the manager, Mr. Hicks said he cancelled my room. I asked why he did not tell me and he brushed that question off, as if hotels.com should have contacted me. I asked why he cancelled my room and he did not give a clear answer. When hotels.com called the property the next day to arrange my refunt the manager, Mr. Hicks and/or your staff lied to hotels.com when they asked why Mr. Hicks chose to cancel the room. The staff member told hotels.com agent that I was a "no show", which is clearly a lie, since I showed up before 7pm that evening, as anyone would normally expect a hotel guest to show up, a very reasonable time. Is this a policy at Marriot? Do you cancel rooms for people at a certain point in the evening? If so, why do you not advertise this? I am posting this review on google next. Horrible and I hope you fix this situation.

    The cleanliness was subpar and had it not been too late to leave, I would have cancelled the entire reservation altogether. One of the towels had pubic hair in it, the bath tub had dirt and stains on it, and there was no iron in the room. When I tried to call the front desk, there was no phone either. After several dials, I finally got through and was told by front desk, “I’ll see what I can do”. While she did ultimately get an iron, I had to go pick it up after having showered. Front desk was courteous, and not at fault, but ultimately not a good reflection

    My family was in town for a family reunion. The stay was fine but the breakfast experience was uncomfortable, didn't really feel welcomed by the attendant so we left and didn't return all weekend. On the last day I woke up to ants on my night stand and since it was close to the bed, they were on the pillow. I think they were sugar ants, but nonetheless.

    My rental car had all the four wheels stolen-Police never showed up for report- Had to wait 8 hours for them and absolutely no show. Glad Ithat I ve.purchased full coverage for the car- Staff is nice but I will never return again because it looks like the hotel deliberately leaves all the parking lot gates open overnight and the neighborhood is a ghetto. Sorry nut it was a terrible experience.

    The elevator shook and screamed like a teenager at an Elvis concert. The hallways to our room smelled like stale fried fish. Our room had a Kleenex on the ground and one silver earring on the ground in our room. The soap and conditioner were not filled. It felt dirty. But the room was spacious and offered us,a family of 5, a comfortable space. The pool was nice and we enjoyed it but there were no pool towels and when we asked for towels we were told there weren't any at this time. The breakfast was the worst I've experienced at a hotel in the States. Shockingly sparse. Asked for milk for my coffee (which was not good at all) and had to wait few minutes and then have to go to the kitchen area and ask again, in Spanish, to get anything. They only had oat milk, no other milk. So we didn't eat breakfast at the hotel again and I'm usually good with a very basic breakfast, even just a bagel. But they didn't have that either. The front desk attendants were very nice, professional and friendly, but the rest of the crew (cleaning ladies etc. ) though also friendly, seemed lost and didn't know what they were doing. Overall, You get what you pay for. This was a very good deal for 5 people to stay, price-wise, but I try to stay at Marriott properties because i trust the name but this experience affected that. But the property is run down and felt like it was lacking management.

    Overall, the stay at this Residence Inn Marriott Westchase was good except for there were issues with the magnetic door reader for the room card for room 337. I was advised by the front desk that they were going to have maintenance come in on Sunday, June 29 to fix it however no one showed up. I was still able to maintain to get in and out the room, but there were times that the door was stuck and would not open. The front desk advised me that it was an issue with the battery and that they usually have issues with that particular room door. I just can’t believe that with this being the Marriott, that this card reader has not been replaced on the door. I know I’m not the first guest to complain about this. I hope that Marriott gets it together and repairs that door. Also on June 29th, in the Breakfast dining room area, they were out of apple juice and orange juice, annd all they had to drink was coffee and lemon water. I don’t understand how they are out of apple juice and orange juice first thing in the morning with Breakfast just starting at 7 AM.

    The area was nicer (for Houston) and relatively quiet. There was a grocery store next door, walking distance. Check in was simple, the staff was pleasant. They're were working elevators, a small gym, a lounge area up front with free tea/coffee/lemon water. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with hot and cold options. The room was clean and stocked. Plenty of space and seating with tables. The bedding was plentiful and the bed was in good condition. Dark curtains and working a/c. We didn't get to use the pool because it was thunderstorming but it looked clean. I'd stay here again for sure.

    Arrived 3 am and checked into a terrible one-bed suite, with dirty bed linens and towels and worn-out/chewed-by-pet couch etc. etc. but had to sleep after a LONG set of flights. The manager was understanding and changed the suite the next day but there were issues with the second suite too, very loud air conditioning system, never got a change of clean towels even once (had to go to the reception myself to pick them up), trash was never picked up from the suite etc. etc., and in the end when asked for a late check-out due to the late evening flight, the answer was NO, and that's it! Will try to stay away from this establishment the next time I am in the city.

    So, kudos to the morning staff because the night staff is terrible and rude. I also spoke to housekeeping on Saturday morning before leaving for the funeral about tidying up the room and replenishing fresh towels, but that DID NOT HAPPEN! Never staying here again.

    I got the 2 room suite. It was great! Cozy and had all the amenities, was like living in a 2 bed apartment. If you need the place cleaned, request a cleaning and they'll take care of you. The front desk was also very accommodating (Shout out to Arlene!)

    The front desk staff were nice but my room was a bit underwhelming. We asked for bedding or blankets for our pull out couch in our suite but the staff told us there was none available at all. We were in need of fresh towels, called the front desk around noon and didn’t receive towels until after midnight, and that was because we went to the front desk to get them.

    We really enjoyed staying at this hotel in Houston. We come to Houston a few times a year to visit an elderly aunt that my husband is in charge of her trust, etc. We live in Cape Coral FL so this is a trek. We have tried several hotels in Houston and all were run down, stunk of marijuana and had many bugs that stayed with us. This hotel has none and is really a nice place to say. I had no idea I had booked a two bedroom but I did and I loved it! Our room was clean, nicely appointed and had all we needed to stay the few days we were in town to visit our aunt. We spent all day at our aunt’s townhouse that was only about 3 mls from her home. Convenient to many places with many good restaurants near by.

    We checked in around 9pm. Check-in was quick and easy. As we went to our room we noticed the gate did not lock and the door to access the building was unlocked as well, which is unsettling for someone with kids staying there. Next, upon entering the room things appeared clean, the room was cool and pretty spacious but as the night went on we had to kill 2 roaches. It was very hard to sleep because I was afraid they would crawl on my kids. Lastly, in the morning my husband found not one but two very large roaches in the room, we quickly checked out and notified the front desk but nothing was done or said not even an apology. Also, the outlets didn't work. Overall, a very uncomfortable experience and caused my family an expensive sleepless night.

    Everything was good, price was good for the hotel. We had a little trouble with the door, having to push/ pull all the way when you open/close it. Once you get the hang of it, it’s fine. & there was no air vent to the kitchen stove. Everything else was great.

    We have stayed her several times before . Disappointed this stay due to Elevator was not working and they had no idea when it will work again. Pool was closed due to needing a part . Since the ac was not on when we got in the room we could smell heavily the smell of vapor weed in the room . Took several hours before room loss some of the smell . When I told management he said that is one of the cleaner rooms and had inspected it himself . It's just got to a point where people don't smell it because they become amune to the smell. Things such as bedding set up was not in the room for the sofa bed because people steal it . I had to go with my granddaughter to the lobby at 12 am to get bedding . These are things they should be asking when you arrive. Very disappointed. Yes they tried to fix some issues by giving us a handicap room on the 1st floor for one of our rooms and they gave us a $50.00 credit . I went for the comfort and relax after my business job. That was not availble during this trip.

    I love staying there. I especially love it because of the hotels that I stayed at charge $100 deposit saying that they’re going to give it back but you never do receive it. You have to actually do chargebacks on these other hotels, but this hotel does not charge your deposit.

    Upon arrival it was hard to check in I had to make several runs to the store because of my card I used at the time of check in (they do not accept chime,cashapp,Venmo etc.) didn’t think it was an issue cause I used my card at the doubletree downtown area (Which is understandable) but I wish it was posted on the site. But forget about that part the property overall 2.5 stars I’m sorry it smelt bad carpet is dirty and horrible elevator sounds like it wanna stop missing ceiling boards stains just bad. Now the room itself I give it a 3 outta 10 it’s manageable if you’re doing a quick overnight stay. You’re greeted with theft signs btw when you go around the property (they’re not held accountable for anything) in my opinion this would be a last resort the pictures are NOT matching what I seen.

    The staff was awesome! They worked with me to get a room in the area that I wanted. The room was clean and nice. It is an old apartment complex and not like a normal Residence Inn. The door seemed to have a dent at the bottom but it locked so we were okay. Parking was lite up well and we felt safe. Loved the area. Close to many eating places, interstate, and medical offices.

    Had I known that this place wasn't maintained, I woud have stayed further out West of town. These items were nice to have: hot breakfast, small gym, refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The ovethead microwave did not turn on, neither did the overhead stove light, or fan. It would have nice to take a swim but the pool was closed because it was not maintained.

    It is in a gated area in Westchase area of Houston. It is walking distance to just about any business you could imagine, variety of restaurants, etc. busy area, lots of other people walking around The rooms were nice, very spacious, and have everything you need.

    My name is Sheena Sanchez and I have a serious complaint about my stay I had with my kids over the weekend. First I was told I could check in early and then when I arrived at hotel I had to wait 3 hours for a room to be ready. Then when I arrived in room the room looked nothing like picture online had no tv in living room was small, doors didn’t close , there was no hot water, roaches and bugs in room, no trash can, the remote to tv didn’t work it was the worst experience I ever had with my kids they did not sleep at all.
