Harbourside Resort, a New Hotel Collection Property

We love this place. The amenities are great, location is perfect, and the condo setup is so great for our bigger family! The condo itself was a bit dirty, the refrigerator leaked, the sink in the main bathroom barley drained, and the front desk does not allow Instacart drop offs to their office, so guiding a driver to you was slightly difficult

Nice apartment for a big family and balcony overlooked the water park .. did not find parking in the parking structure at night as everything was full but no biggie, I just parked across the street.

It was not crowded. The air broke in our unit. We were moved to an outdated unit. Thr tiolet ran all the time, the beds were horrible, the appliances were outdated. It was annoying to have to pay for my kids to go to the pool each day. A lot of money could have been spent at another resort. We coulndt use pool some days due to crowds coming in from differnt places.

This property is great it had the best of both worlds. The water park was great my 5 yr old grandson enjoyed it very much and the beach is just across the street. Good restaurants are in walking distance and it’s in a quiet part of the strip we always enjoy Indian Rocks

No gym, no jacuzzi, and if you don't buy the passes to the water park, then also no pool. You must keep your shoes on in the rooms. Take them off one minute and you have completely black feet. Very dirty! You have to constantly go to the main office which you need to walk to for every little thing.

The rooms were nice and enough space for my family. The fact that the pools closed early! We thought that the pool was free for the guests but it was only free from 6-8. And you had to purchase to enjoy the water park.

I like the property proximity to the beach and to stores. I did not like not having room service. The room designs were already a bit old, I feel upkeep through maintenance staff should be provided for rooms that old.

The area was very walkable, there were a few restaurants and corner stores within walking distance. And of course, the beach was just a couple streets over. Sunset at the beach was a community event, so lovely to be able to do that!

Hot water was hard to come by.. we were there for 6 nights. Had warm water 2 times. The rest of the time it was a cold shower. The electric outlets you can not plug anything into as the cord just falls out. So hard to dry hair. I found one in living area that I could hold in with my foot to dry my hair.

We have stayed here 2 times now due to the location and staff. This place was great for going to the beach nearby or to hang out at Splash Harbor, the staff was always pleasant and helpful! Perfect place for our family of 6 with young children!

I liked the location

The slides and pool area were excellent. Our 8 & 10 year old had a great time for the one night we stayed for. Room was spacious and offered privacy and enjoyment for our whole family. I would recommend this resort to families with children. The office was tricky to find. The office had limited hours of availability, plan ahead if your arrival is after office hours. The elevators were slow. Taking the steps was faster and more convenient than waiting

Harbourside Resort is a Timeshare property/agency. It was clean and very well maintained. Our kitchen was well stocked with equipment to make our own meals. THE WATERPARK/POOL IS NOT APART OF THE RESORT!! You may get 1 or 2 passes, per day depending on the room. It can be very expensive for a large family. Our room had a small washing machine but only 1/2 a normal load could be done at a time. Two blocks from a beautiful beach.

I didn’t like that I rented a two bedroom that slept minimum of 6 and had only 5 people there, and I had to purchase passes everyday to use the pool, I couldn’t even use the regular pool without purchasing passes everyday.

The rooms were a little outdated but overall they were ok. Broken lint trap in the dryer but still did the job. Kitchen sink did not have hot water and tv remote was broke as well .

Great location, walking distance to everything and the beach! Very friendly and helpful staff! Just the cleanliness, we couldn’t walk on the floors without slippers because your feet would be black! It’s not well maintained.

We rented 2 suites for our annual family vacation. Both units were clean and well stocked with towels, paper goods, laundry, dishwashing and bath essentials. Parking is very convenient and seemed plentiful. The best part of the facility is the staff! Everyone is eager to please and prompt to answer any requests for service or repairs.

The staff is really amazing, everything is really nice but again the staff really make it a special experience for the entire family.

The water park was amazing for the kids. I loved the balcony and all the up to date ammeties.our room was huge and had everything we needed to feel right at home.The wifi was strong and the customer service was wonderful. Beautiful views from our room and just two blocks away from the ocean. What we didn't like is that we had to leave so soon. Next time we'll book a longer stay than 4 days.

Good location with short walk to the beach. The resort offered use of beach towels. Parking is free, but we did not have a car. The bed was good. Lots of things were broken in the apartment: Microwave, refrigerator, dryer - at least that is what I noticed. The floor are hard and cold. Some rugs would have been nice. The bath was dated.

We stayed from Monday to friday. No housekeeping at all. No fr3sh towels, just kept hang drying them. Beach city and sand all over the floor for a week. Ill definitely choose elsewhere nextime.

We had a stain on our bed looked like a blood stain ..they didn’t include anything but what was in the room ..they hound you to pretty much do a timeshare then try to scam you with it . The water park was fun but it wasn’t part of the hotel stay and if u don’t book thru them u get charged for resort fees even tho u have to pay for for the water park ..the restaurant that’s on site is not that good and the service was horrible we got denied a lil container of salt and pepper when we left because the waitress didn’t want to kitchen. The bar at the waterpark was awesome and the service at the bar was fantastic. They stay was ok I’ve had better stays

Hotel is nice. Great location. Free parking. The pool is extra charge. If your in unit A or B only, your sharing the hotel. You can hear and smell everything next door.

It was a bit cold the night we stayed there and the heat in our room didn’t work. The Hotel has no pool and the walls are paper thin. You can hear people talking plain as day in the room next door and you can hear everything going on in the bathroom next door.

Front desk staff are only available until 10pm after that, you have to call a neighbor hotel for assistance. Water park was nice and very convenient but there is an additional charge. View from balcony was amazing. Room was very spacious and clean. Parking was easy until the garage was full and then you had to park on the street. Short walk to restaurants and the beach.

Older resort. It was difficult to find the office; had to stop by the Hilton to find it. Need to have a big sign that says New Hotel Harbourside Resort before you enter office parking lot. It was very cold and WINDY, so they waived the park fee. Condo was clean. Could have had hangers in the closet. Not much space for clothing. No suitcase holder in either room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will go back to Harbourside again.

Had to keep walking around the parking ramp to get into anything. Not great for small children. Son didn't meet height requirements for the water slides.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Very difficult to find the office, office closes at 10, no ice machines, no soap in bathroom, bed was very soft no support, TV requires you to login to your own service (Netflix, Prime, etc) excepcould never find a login. Ot is in my top 5 worst hotels ever.

The laundry set up was great. It's LOUD, but a load was done pretty quickly. We couldn't hear the nearby units, so we didn't feel bad running it. It was not spotless. The baseboards were a little dirty, and everyone's feet were black by the end of the day. But the bathrooms and the kitchen were clean. The pullout couch was clean, and so were the beds. To me, that's what mattered. There's no direct route to the pool, but by the second day, we figured it out. Keep in mind, you only get the pool "for free" from 9-10 am before the water park opens. It's not very warm either, but tolerable. You can get detergent, sponges, soap, and dishwasher pods at the main office - no charge if you need them. And pool towels. They were decently sized, and we just popped them in the dryer each time we got back from the pool. We did buy water, but the refrigerator has a filter. We will definitely go back!

Staff was very responsive to any needs. They called us prior to check in with helpful information. They called us after finding our car keys in the unit after check out. The unit was outdated but clean. Professional management team.

Overall it was a good place to stay- safe, quiet, good location, plenty of room. It would have been nice to have another couch or loveseat to sit on. There were no extra blankets or sheets or anything for the pull out couch. There was one sauce pan, but nothing else to cook with. A few minor plumbing issues my husband fixed because he’s a plumber (bolt missing from toilet seat, no hot water in kitchen, water in bathroom barely running, toilet not flushing) but he was able to fix them to where it didn’t affect us too bad during the week. Otherwise, great place, and friendly staff.

Thought it was a hotel.. it was a time share. Consistently asked you to join. Groups of people go by your room. Have to park across street and you have to get your own towels.

We had a 1 bedroom suite that overlooked the water park. Large balcony. Very clean. We loved our room. There is also a sundeck on the 5th floor that was fantastic to watch the sunset. Kids loved the waterpark especially the fast slide. Will definitely stay again.

Cons--The bathroom definitely needed a deep cleaning, the shower had mold and the shower walls were just "spot caulked" leaving me to assume covering up mold. There was way too much smoking on the balconies around us, cigarettes, pot, cigars, everything. I don't care what people do but there should be a dedicated area to smokers,even tho they say smoke free property, we could barely sit out on the balcony it was so bad and would go back in the room smelling like smoke. They need to make a rule for parents/guardians to watch their kids at the waterpark. I saw kids running and playing in the water and on slides as young as if I had to make a guess, 4 or 5 years old. Way too many bad things can happen way too quick! Also, only 1 free pass to the waterpark. If more than one person in the room, you need to pay for everyone else. Lastly, as an FYI they are trying to get you to sign up for timeshare/vacation club presentation. They should state that on hotels.com

Overall our trip was wonderful, the units nice but could use fresh paint. There was a major safety hazard as one of the outlets had a metal outlet socket plug sticking out/ broken inside. Other then that the experience was great as well as the staff. The water park was a nice add although a little overwhelming as some guest have to pay. The pool area is open to guest after 6pm for those who dont want to pay the additional fee. The shops around the property were great. There's live music everyday at 6pm from the venue across the hotel. Plenty of bars and restaurants to eat from. Bait shop less then 5 min away. Beach is a block and a half away.

Pool only was suffice! For my family and I. Yet it said 10-6 pm you must purchase a 23.00 wrist band, Ridiculous!!!!

Great accomidations..having the water park connected was the bonus. Rented the 2 bedroom condo and it was huge!! Tons of room for the kids and adults. Would definitely stay there again for longer next time!

The 1 bdrm condo was serviceable. Nice space inside. The beds were very loud. Need replacing. Liked view on balcony to waterpark. TV screen was pink, but maintenance brought in a new one quickly. That was nice. The floors in condo were terribly dirty. Our feet were black by the end of the day. Seems that they sweep unit but don't mop them. For the price expected something a little more upscale. All in all, still had a good time though.

They could improve security at the pool after closing, there were several people smoking marijuana and drinking inside the pool. One of the beds was broken and it was very uncomfortable to sleep in. However, we overlooked these details and enjoyed the stay. Beach was two small streets away by foot very convenient. We would stay again.

Was there for work, one night stay. They do have 2 bedroom condos. I would stay with the family. Short walk to the beach. Only thing is they are not associated with the water park. They do offer free tickets per room based on how many bedrooms. I.E. 2 bedroom condo, 2 free tickets per day.

Last minute trip to take my grandson to the beach in water park at Indian rocks the hotel is very comfortable clean wonderful location close to shops restaurants and the water park right next door was a big hit with my grandson would definitely come back and stay here again . Hotel staff was very friendly knowledgeable which made it a great stay with definitely return again with my family in the future

Absolutely not what was marketed online. Far from standard. The air conditioner vents are gross beyond words.

The place was nice. The lobby to check in was a bit hard to find at first. When I got to my room, the light switches didn't work at first. I had to go around and try several before I found one that worked properly then there were several light bulbs out in the unit. The outlet by the bed seemed to have some issues. I was going to let management know at check-out but the process did not allow for that. Overall, this was a decent place, just a few electrical issues.

I have stayed 4 times now and will return again. Each time I stay in a different room. I enjoyed looking over the balcony and viewing the waterpark more than viewing the intercoastal. Parking was easy. The beach was also very nice. Staff was friendly. We will return again. Thank you.

The property is dated. The mattress was horrible and needs replacing. The shower headi in the bathroom needs to be replaced. Need room darkening shades. The parking was a problem and there isn’t enough space. I stayed here in 2019 and it was great. Some money could be spent to update and repair things. Location was great and nice walking distance to places.

Great place to stay for families, close to the beach. You can walk within minutes to the beach. Waterpark access was great for the kids. 1 pass is given per room and additional are at cost but pricing is reasonable. Staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The price shown online is a lot higher than getting it through the actual place. Extra charge for using this online and end up paying about $100 more then just booking it with the place. The property itself is really nice and we plan on staying again just will not use online booking for this establishment

The walls are paper thin and you can hear the moms on both sides of us yelling at their children and people arguing and so on. but for one night it was good, and the free parking and complimentary pass to the water park is definitely a nice perk.

Checked in at 945pm. Noise by kids running past the room up till 0200am. No answer at front desk when trying to complain. Noise by kids again at 0500 am. Check out was bait and which at 0900. They had me sign for the room rates at $112.00 and when i asked for the receipt it showed $251.00. this practice is fraud. Buyer beware!!!

This was a tremendous spot for our family of 4 kids 8 and under. We could walk to the beach or go to Splash Harbor Waterpark on the property. The staff was extremely helpful and understanding, world class customer service. Would highly recommend!

We’d stayed two nights there in a suite. Super large area with a kitchen with a family of 6 and wished we could have stayed there longer. Not far walk from the beach either. The only down fall was the king bedroom the hot water was a little slow to come out but hot water came out took a little longer. Otherwise we would stay there again.

I appreciated washer and dryer in the room. Little disappointed by no hair dryer in room. I would stay there again.

My wife and I stayed for one night because of a business trip. This place is terrible. The ac did not work in the room. (Noone at the desk after 10pm to assist) It was so hot we had to sleep in separate beds. The beds when you lay on them you can hear the springs. I woke up unable to move. We got up early and left just to get out of there. For the price you would expect something nicer. All the furniture is scratched and trim is damaged. The fan in the bathroom ticked all night even though it wasn’t on. I would never stay again nor recommend anyone to stay there.

Unfortunately I was exposed to head lice. I was far too embarrassed and mortified to even address the issue. I had to venture out after midnight for treatments. I have proof of same as well as receipts indicating the cost of treating myself, my clothing and vehicle

My thermostat didn’t work. It was 37 degrees outside in the morning when I left for work.. all kinds of hair in the bathroom on toilet in shower and on the shampoo and conditioner bottles

Mini fridge was broken. Property was on the louder side possibly because of external doors. Room key stopped working after hours and struggled to get help to unlock door.

The floors were not clean and the carpets in the bedrooms looked dirty, specifically it good while traveling with small kids. However it was good on all other aspects. the service was great and they offered beach towels ( service covered by the resort fee) . Walkable to the beach and around 20 mins drive to Clearwater beach.

The property was good I just couldn’t turn on my heat in my room . I had to leave one night early because I couldn’t take the cold . It was not expected due to Florida but it should have worked.

My room looked worse than one from a horror movie. However, I must mention that the staff addressed my concerns and upgraded my room to something closer to what I had seen online. It’s definitely a no-frills experience, meant for quick stays.

Had 2 units, one for son's wife and daughter and a one bedroom for husband and myself. On same floor near them was perfect.

Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Not the first time I stayed there.

Great location and water park was great for the kids. Unfortunately, the rooms were not like the pictures, not the best condition. Also, your charge a $30 a day resort fee, but you can’t even get into the pool without buying the waterpark pass.

Room was beautiful, loved having the full kitchen and washer and dryer. Did not know until after booking that you had to pay for the water park extra but it was super fun so worth it! Definitely would come back!

It was great except for the check in. My GPS brought me to the address in the ad for the property but that old entrance is not being used. There was no signage to tell you where to check in...so after driving around the block a couple times (not seeing any signs for "Lobby" or "Check In" ) they did call me and clue me in to the place to check in. It was an unmarked small building across the street that did not appear to be connected to this property...so I just wasted about 25 minutes ....

Office is hard to find. I wish more details would be shared when booking. Such as you have to rent suites in order to get parking. Otherwise you have to find parking on the street which is very limited. The lighting is horrible. You have 1 lamp by the bed in the room for the lighting. Didn’t get a balcony or patio that we requested. Nor did we get a room facing the pool as requested. Air conditioner didn’t work so we went a night without any air. The maintenance did a good job in getting it fixed first thing in the morning. Again the 2nd night no air conditioning. Check in is at 4 and the water park closes at 6. Doesn’t give much time at the water park. You only get one pass if you don’t stay in a suite which also was not mentioned.

The young lady that checked us and did not give us the passes so that we could go down to the waterpark. We had to go back and get them which took a lot of time and there wasn’t even that much time to go into the splash park. The room was clean and very comfortable. The lady that brought up our towels was very nice as well. The biggest complaint is that you cannot check in until 4 PM and the splash park closes at 6 PM. The swimming pool also closes at 8:30. At $30 a person to use the splash park not being able to use it longer than two hours if you’re only there for one night is very disappointing.

The facility was very clean as was the condo. Great parking with a condo rental. Water park is great with a tiki bar on site and multiple restaurants within a few blocks. Beach access is just a couple blocks away as well. The only knock I have that it’s not very quiet, you can easily hear your neighbors and the water park activity. Overall a great spot for vacation.

It was a little confusing trying to find the office to check in. Once we stopped by two other hotels we finally found it. Once we checked in the room was great, the water park was great and it was a perfect location close to restaurants and beach access.

Very nice only downsize is that the pool can only be use certain times since it is part of the water park.

This hotel was beautiful and fun for our children.
